RITUAL - Cafe, Cocktail and Listening Bar

I had a great experience at Ritual Restaurant in ghana. thanks to the great service from Hilda and especially Eric. Both were welcoming and attentive, but Eric stood out for being incredibly kind, helpful, and patient throughout my visit. He made sure everything went smoothly and took the time to answer any questions I had with a genuine smile. It’s clear he really cares about the customer experience. Will be back soon.

Anytime of the day, Ritual delivers great food, drinks and service. The matcha 🍵 is definitely a hit here, but I know now to only get it with oat milk. (Don’t like the taste of whole milk in Ghana) The espresso brownie with Caramel ice cream was delicious. I also enjoyed the Shakshuka and the locally made kombucha brand they carry.

Went there on a Saturday night to get a chance to experience the listening bar and everything was truly a 10/10. The staff were super attentive and friendly! It’s also a small space inside so there was a very intimate atmosphere which is nice. There is also have outdoor seating as well. Great option for a calm and chill night in Accra! We met the owner as well and she was super nice! I’ll definitely be back.

The beef salad was delicious! The green smoothie didn’t taste too healthy (if you know what I mean) ambiance was good with the music playing lightly in the background. I went during the day before it came alive and still really enjoyed myself. Servers could be more attentive so that I don’t have to wave people down constantly for assistance but otherwise they were very polite

I visited twice in the space of 3 weeks and had two completely different experiences. The first was perfect (tbh it was on a quiet day) great food and service). I tried to go yesterday and the service was non existent, no staff available to seat us, the staff inside told us to find a seat outside whilst their was none, the server and the kitchen person were arguing. Service needs to be consistent ..

Loved the modern and stylish interior so much. The dish I ordered was so good that I’ll miss it once I leave Ghana. The drink was also great.

We came here two nights in a row on Tuesday and Wednesday . First night we ordered the carribean plate and ink pasta paired with Chardonnay wine. The food and wine were excellent. Having a great experience we came back the 2nd night because the manager had told us there would be an event and a dj coming to play. Unfortunatly the dj did not show up so they decided to play tge vinyl of Amy Whinehouse. While we all enjoy her music they played the vinyl non stop for at least 1,5h straight at which point we asked for another vinyl to be played. The responded that the owners needed to give permission on which vinyl to play and that the vinyls i had requested were denied by the owners and that they were reserving those vinyls for others days. Which I found very bizar it being a listening and vinyl bar. Now for the service the staff is very friendly but lack skill and knowhow. The Wine we ordered was not presented to us and turned out to be the wrong bottle. The cevice was too spicy and the passion fruit too overbearing. We did send it back asked for less passion fruit and were accommodated. The vegetable tempura was nice but could be served in a different plate since it was inconvenient to eat it on the chosen rectangular plate. We had to ask to staff multiple times to pour out the wine. Had to ask to clear our table after being done eating for nearly 15m. Also had to ask for the bill after waiting for a while. Unfortunate as this place has potential.

Great food (7/10). Good service (6/10). Ambiance/Setup (7/10). Location (8/10). Great space in a good location, easy to get to.
