Stumbled on this place during a road trip. So good and affordable. I had the brisket sandwich with two sides for $15. The meat was tender and the beans were flavorful. The banana pudding was a good dessert. All the options looked and smelled great! I would return here.

Great food and good value. All the sides we tried were really good. We tried baked beans, coleslaw , potato salad and corn We had sliced and chopped brisket. The BBQ sauce was good but a little thinner than I am accustomed to. We also tried the Texas Twinkie which as was a jalapeño stuffed with brisket and cheese then battered and fried. It was good but was very spicy. The brisket can be moist or lean and both were very good flavor. It is tricky getting into the parking lot if you are arriving from North 287 but there is a road into the lot from the rest area. They have a dining room and offer desserts such as peach cobbler and banana pudding

This was a good stop on our drive through town. My husband and youngest son got the ribs plate and they were really good and had a unique flavor they really enjoyed. Our oldest son got the 2 meat plate with turkey and brisket, jalapeño mac & cheese and banana pudding, it was flavorful and filling, didnt have as unique of flavor as the ribs but still delicious. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and pulled pork with sides of cream corn and peach cobbler, I enjoyed it and had some left for a snack later. My daughter got a pulled pork baked potato, that is one of her favorite foods, she ate almost the whole thing and it was a pretty good sized potato, for sides she got potato salad (😂 I'm not sure why) and cream corn, the sides cames with my husbands ribs plate, she would have got the cobbler but she didnt realize that was one of the sides. Overall it was good and we would go back.

I dare you to find a better BBQ place nearby! You'd lose that dare if you took it. What else can I say about the food and service from this establishment except WOW ❤️ Wow, wow, wow. I needed authentic Texan BBQ before heading back home to Australia and this was it, with a cherry on top. The quality of the food paired with the genuinely kind and passionate people working there make this place an A+ place to eat. You seriously won't be disappointed!

We stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon when we were heading out of town. Amazed that the place was practically empty, but it was nice.. We asked what was good and were recommended the smoked turkey - and boy was it good! Had my dad asking for the recipe so he could try and duplicate it at home! Really good tho! Had the brisket potato which was delicious, but too big to finish - beware! Had peach cobbler - only complaint is I wanted MORE!! Haha! Overall was excellent!

It's worth the drive! Ritzy Ribs with sliced brisket was amazing. Troy is polite and offers some of the best service you could ask for. You can get brisket that's lean or with fat or both. All the sides were great. Fresh cut potatoe fries and Texas twinkies were great too. Full bar and live bands on the weekend. We'll definitely be back.

I’ve been driving through here for years, never thought I’d find a hidden gem. Tried the brisket, sausage, pulled pork and all of their sides and everything was really good. Price is great for this quality of food.

Wow! I don’t know if this place is under rated, unheard of or if I’ve just been under a rock but this place should be in the Texas top 50. I’ve had Hurtados, Heim, snows, goldees, meat church events, Daynes, I’ve been to Trubadour. This place is just as good if not better than some of those! Ribs were perfect, tender, juicy, great flavor on the crust and then brisket ugh spot on. Good job 👏🏼 🤌🏼

Absolutely love this place they just blew me away with their pot stickers that sauce is crazy good the butcher is always fun with some of the best brisket love the mac n cheese cream corn don't forget the banana pudding I should have knocked off on the stars for not having any Texas twinkies but they were on the smoker if had 20 more minutes

Funky BBQ place right off Hwy 287. The food was delicious with large portions. We split the 2 meat plate between 2 people and we both left stuffed and even had some leftovers to take home. They cook the French fries made to made. They got busy and forgot our fries. My husband checked on it and they brought them as we were finishing our meal. That was the only thing that kept my rating from being a 5. They have a large outdoor area as well. I can see it being a fun place to come hang out in the evenings when the weather gets cooler.

What a great place! Really average BBQ, which still smokes just about everything else in Wise county! The staff here is always super friendly, and there's great live bands on the weekends! If you know Brandi, you know she can run a food joint, and has the best staff in 3 counties! It's a great place to sit out on the back porch, grab a few beers, listen to some live music, and just have a great time! 4 STARS

Stopped at this place randomly drive thru Texas years ago. The guy slicking brisket. I asked, what you slicing? the best damn brisket in Texas. I still have wet dreams about this place. This has changed my prospective of barbecue. This place has shitton of wood I'm guessing that's a good sign of a solid bbq.

Visiting from Florida and saw this place along the highway. First off, southern hospitality is a real thing, as though I am from Florida the kindness and service here was warm and friendly. On top of the charismatic deposition of the cook, the aesthetic here really felt like I was at a Texas BBQ. As soon as you walk in it smells of fresh oak. I ordered the sausage, and Myski and my girlfriend ordered the turkey, and all three of the meat choices were juicy and tender and packed with flavor. The spicy barbecue sauce they had was just the bow on top. When we arrive, the place was just starting to open up, but it definitely started picking up pretty fast just around noon on a Sunday. Also, must try their fries, banana pudding and baked beans. Would definitely make the drive from Dallas to here again just to have the same experience.

Walk in to Texas style decor! Love this place! The servers were helpful and answered all my questions with a smile! Had the brisket and also ordered smoked chicken. Delicious doesn't quite cut it. Full flavor and texture! Everything was awesome! Sauce as good as can be and not too sweet like some can be. (My opinion) We will be back to try the other menu items soon!!

Always a great time on Friday nights when I'm in town racing nearby with good food, drinks, and live music.

This isn't BBQ. More of a chilis than anything. Service isn't friendly. The ambiance is great.

So we ran in here on a whim and they were only about 45 minutes from closing. They hooked us up and even let the pup sit on the patio (video attached). Bar tender was very kind and helpful. Wife had the brisket sandwich with Mac salad and I did the ritz platter, which is 3 ribs plus one meat and two sides. So here is why I gave them 4 stars and not 5.... They're honestly more like 3.75 IMHO. The ribs were flavorful but dried out and lean. The Turkey was fantastic, no issues there, but the macaroni and cheese and Mac salad need different noodles. Granted mac and cheese is subjective but I think they used egg noodles or something that was just not up to the task of being creamy Mac and cheese. No other complains though. Green beans were great, brisket was great as well. I'd go back and ask for center ribs ONLY.

Just wow! Hands down the best brisket we've had in a very very long time! We had the burnt ends brisket sandwiches and it was deeeelicious! The hefty, tender brisket was served on thick Texas toast and every bite was pure gastronomic awesomeness Half way through my sandwich I had to snap a picture to capture a peek before I finished devouring it. Got some yummy slaw and charro beans as sides, which tasted really good and only added to the perfect stop for lunch.

We've only picked up food from here and have ordered the chicken, brisket and ribs and omg delicious!! The barbecue sauce is really good with any of those too, for sides our favorites are Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The service is friendly and fast so we definitely recommend it! This place is right on 287 so I'm sure it stays busy all the time, it's been a couple of times where they run out of brisket so maybe call before heading there.

Just average. Brisket isn't very smokey. More like roast beef. Sides are ok. Had Mac n cheese, green beans and baked beans.

For a place outside of town it doesn't seem like it'll be much. That's an opinion quickly disproved as the food is very good. The bar is great and the bar manager is a wonderful character. Add in some live music and you've got a spot very worth a visit.

I have stopped here many times traveling between Wichita Falls and DFW and I did so again Friday the 28th around 7pm. I have to say the bbq is consistent- consistently average. It is good not great. I had a sliced brisket sandwich this time and the brisket was a little dry. Their sauce didn't help much. I got some pinto beans and they were slightly undercooked. Since it is cafeteria style the service is good and quick. And the decor is rustic and pleasant.

Great food... service just ok....ambiance good have live music on the weekends. When they are out of food they are out of food even if it's 7pm on Friday night. Maybe they should plan better! But, they have the best bbq for the area!

New owner and I was a big fan of the old. Menu hasn't changed a bunch yet but some good changes inside like sauce on the table instead of those little cups. Had the brisket and turkey plate with a side of delicious hand cut fries and banana pudding which my Wife quickly stole from me. The brisket was moist and tender. I like the fatty end and it was just right in the meat to fat ratio. Great flavor, especially with the sauce. The smoked turkey was superb. Moist tender and the perfect smoke level, I could eat this every day. The new owner is great and the new Manager is two levels better than the last guy. Whoever id the pit master knows his stuff.

This place has friendly staff, good ambiance, but BBQ is a little dry and sauce is like water and too sweet for me. Obviously a lot of people don't mind watery sauce cause they're alway busy.

The brisket is amazing! They offer Texas Twinkies too. The sides are ok nothing great but the meat makes up for it. The service is always friendly. Occasionally they have live bands on weekends which is fun. The restaurant is country and cute with a bar and a beautiful, huge patio area with a stage for the band.

This places is absolutely amazing! Their food is great, and their ice is good too. Definitely recommend them!

Brisket is smoked to perfection! Sides are good too. Easy restaurant to find and right off the Hwy. Cuts the brisket right in front of you so you definitely see what you're getting. Will be a regular here when traveling through.

I visited Ritzy B's today and picked up some brisket for dinner. This was my first visit but definitely will not be my last! I heard some people ask for fatty cut and some asked for lean cuts. I asked for a mixture; the brisket was tender, moist, smoky, and full of flavor! Definitely NO IMITATION SMOKE USED during the cooking process. Job well done Mr. DJ.

Good steak dinner on Route 66. Decent salad bar and appropriate service. This is by no means a fine dining establishment. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable dress quiet and comfortable eatery. This establishment is perfect for travelers who are tired of eating gas station and fast foods on an extended journey. This place will be a respite from traveler's eating.

I am picky about my BBQ and this was delicious. There were 4 of us and we all left full and very Happy!! It was not packed and we were able to get our food quickly. We will definitely be back. This will be a new regular restaurant for us.

Terrific food, fabulous service, the chef has a great personality too! The ribs, turkey, brisket and pulled pork are some of the best we've had! Be sure to stop in this place, it is easy to miss north of Decatur on 287 as you're cruising by at 70mph.

First time here, we ordered 3 different meals consisting of ribs, brisket, turkey, sausage, and pull pork. All were great! Sides we ate were green beans, creamed corn (our favorite), charro beans and baked beans (next favorite), jalapeño Mac n cheese (it was lacking alittle). Cute atmosphere inside. Will definitely be stopping back when going back to Wichita Falls from Dallas.

Food is good, service is alright and ambiance is country. Wife likes the ribs and loaded potato, armadillo eggs are my favorite.

Came here with my family. This place is pretty quite and cost about $55.00 for 2 adults and 1 child to eat. Drinks aren't included in the combo, so sold separately. My husband had the sliced beef brisket, potato salad and macaroni salad. He said he'd give it top scores, but his food wasn't hot. My son had a kids meal with sliced sausage, fries and chips. My son gave it a 4/5 stars since it was, so dark and he said his sausage was a bit spicy. I give it a 3.5, I ordered a 2 meat combo with turkey and sliced beef brisket. Turkey was moist and my brisket needed sauce, not enough seasoning for me. My sides were potato salad (a bit extra salty), the jalapeño bacon mac-n-cheese was a bit spicy and I didn't taste the bacon, it wasn't hot/warm at all. The banana pudding was good to the taste, but needed more cookies and bananas for me personally. All in all this place was good to try. The bathroom was rustic and clean, the dinning room is darker than most spots. Pictures attached as usual.

Excellent BBQ. Stop in if you get the chance. I believe the bbq is vinegar based, which is delicious. The pulled pork is good, the brisket is good, the chicken is fantastic. Try it, you'll like it.

On the way to the in-laws in south Fort Worth and stopped here to grab dinner. It was amazing. Brisket was melt in your mouth moist. Jalapeño cheddar sausage was great and had just the right heat. The Texas twinkies are damn good. The wife had a loaded spud and she smashed a huge potato and pulled pork. Sweet baked beans were delicious too. The employees were nice and right there to help. Food prices were to be expected for quality barbecue cause good food ain't cheap and cheap shot ain't good and this place is good.

While the fare was delectable and appropriately priced for the prodigious serving sizes, my experience was regrettably marred by a disconcerting revelation. It has come to my attention that one of the establishment's employees directed the offensive and derogatory "N Word" towards me, repeatedly. Had it not been for my accompanying companions disclosing this unwarranted behavior to me, I would have remained ignorant of this transgression as the employee's speech was incomprehensible to me. Although I did not apprehend any malice in his verbiage, the deplorable use of this language was profoundly disappointing and has left a disquieting impression on me. Consequently, I cannot fathom returning to this establishment anytime in the near future.

We recently moved to Sunset from KC (so we know our BBQ!) and have driven by Ritzy B's several times...we finally stopped in! The atmosphere and people are very nice, the food was just OK unfortunately. We both ordered a 2 meat plate and got brisket on both, sausage on one, and pulled pork on the other. Sides ordered were the baked beans, cole slaw, jalapeno mac and cheese, and green beans. The meat was all dry, flavor was good but it took a minute for your mouth to water up to be able to chew and swallow. I had to go back to the line to get a knife to cut the brisket, it was not able to be cut with a fork. The sides were good, but not great. Green beans had too much pepper, the mac and cheese was probably the best one of the 4. We also ordered a side of the Texas twinkies and it was the first time we've had these. They were very good! We have a single restaurant in Sunset, about a mile off 287, I believe their BBQ is far superior and I owe them an apology for "cheating". We won't make that mistake again!

First time dinning here after passing several times. The person serving/cutting the meat was very rude and snarky when we asked what their specialty was. We ordered chicken and he said," I don't have it anyway." My daughters and I were wearing masks and he made a snarky comment about why we were wearing them. After ordering the cashier walked away and left so we were left standing waiting for the cashier to return. BBQ was sub par, we've had better at Dickies BBQ (that says a lot.) many were going in to drink at the bar but very few people were eating any food.

Google said they were closed but we called and they're open till 9pm. The food was amazing, best turkey I've ever had. The brisket was close to if not the best I've ever had and the pulled pork was very tasty too. The cook was very entertaining and offered us samples without us even asking. The decor is cool, and the portions were the perfect size.

This place used to be Leeper's Creek and just got rebranded. My ribs were over cooked to the point of being charred and the meat being seared onto the bone. Even the bone was dry and brittle. The jalapeño Mac and baked beans sides were pretty good. They're just kinda stingy with the sides. Service is cafeteria style and the servers are very friendly and helpful. It's a cool spot with a nice bar area and large outside patio. Judging by the signs inside they have live music too. If you're looking for a place to drink and hear some music when in the area, this seems like a good place. If your just looking for some good bbq, keep moving and find another place. The only way I would see myself eating here again is if I was in the area and wanted to drink and listen to music and caught enough of a buzz that I wanted to eat and not go anywhere. Otherwise I'll pass.

Excellent service, good bbq and a nice bar. Very friendly staff. They have smoked Turkey legs right now!

Good food. Good atmosphere. Great service. Live music on the weekends puts this over the top as a local spot we will be frequenting.

Eh and more eh. I'm always suspicious of a bbq place when you don't smell smoke at all in the parking lot or inside the restaurant. I've tried the smoked pork, brisket, turkey and regular sausage. Outside of the turkey, which is pretty good, everything else is fair at best. There no smoke taste on the meat. The bbq sauce has no flavor either. The sides are equally disappointing. The sweet tea is good and the peach cobbler is very good. The only problem is you get about four bites of cobbler in the tiny container so you're just getting a tease.

Amazing brisket and huge portions. Not cheap, but good and plan on taking home lots of leftovers.

This was a very good find. Been there a few times & they never seem to let me down. The sides are fres, the brisket is my favorite. BBQ sauce could us a bit more heat but overall, the food is great.

I was made fun of for ordering ribs for lunch so I went for the chicken with a side of fries( was yelled at for not knowing the process of ordering fries) and got green beans which were canned with fake bacon bits. The chicken was so dry I couldn't chew it. Husband got brisket ( 3/4 of it was extreme charred burnt fat that was in eatable) with canned pintos and tasteless potato salad. Shame on you when we in Texas are known for BBQ

Ahhhh man!!! Loved this delicious bbq. We got the sliced bbq sandwich and a big ole slab of barbecue ribs. This is my kind of Texas barbecue. The meat is so good but itself that you don't need no fancy sauce although they have some. It has a delicious smoked flavor tender juicy and lean. I'm sure you can get it on the fat side but if you like that sort of thing. I would love to go back and hear some of the live music as they have a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking trees. Very nice patio.

Found this little gem of a place on our way to an RV park to spend the night away to Colorado. One of the best barbecue meals I've had in a long time. I had the brisket which was phenomenal, my husband had the chicken and pulled pork. All were amazing, potato salad is to die for. Will be back .

Driving from DFW to Amarillo, we decided to try Ritzy B's in spite of the handful of negative reviews. I think we were at a different place. The cook and cashier were both super friendly and helpful. Between the two us us, we tried ribs, brisket, jalapeño sausage, AND smoked bologna. All of it was very good. They were already sold out of both the turkey and chicken. The cream corn, oh my goodness! We will certainly stop here again.

Omg i would like to give Ritzy Barbecue 20 stars if I can! Their Brisket, Jalapeño sausage and Turkey are to die for! I was driving needed to go to the rest area and found this bbq place by accident. I'm glad I stop by. I would come back for sure!

Went out for a company christmas lunch and had a great time! wonderful hospitality, delicious food, and loved the cats roaming outside!!
