Riva Hvar Yacht Harbour Hotel (Hvar, Croatia) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Riva Hotel, on the Croatian island of Hvar, is something of a time capsule — the sort of place that just might take you back to the days when this whole design boutique thing started. For any number of world-historical reasons that don’t really bear examination here, Croatia is, as a tourist destination, at least a decade or two behind just about anywhere else in Europe. This is no dismissal — if the boom in business there is any indication, there’s plenty of demand for a bit of not-yet-spoiled European coastline." - Tablet Hotels

Best Hotel what a gem! A bit pricey but it's vacation! First time in Hvar visiting with my friend. The room was so cozy and comfortable. We had a mini terrace outside our room. The restaurant and breakfast was amazing!! We ordered anything and everything off the menu and their lavish food stations. Literally steps away from the docking marina- perfect to just walk outside and get on the boat/ferry for our excursions. Staff was so nice and attentive. I enjoyed our 3 nights in Hvar. Lively hotel.

We just had the most amazing 2 nights staying at this beautiful hotel. From the moment you disembark you are welcomed and taken to the wonderful reception, the smell, decor and staff tell you it's going to be good. We were blessed to stay in the beautiful suite and we didn't want to leave. Sitting watching the bustle of Hvar from our terrace was an absolute joy. A truly memorable stay in this very special hotel & island, thank you so much.

Riva Marina Hotel was a rip-off. When asked what amenities you have, the response was they were in the center of town. That’s it. No pool. The room was the size of a walk-in closet. No place to put your luggage. A bathroom with a see through glass door (really?) For over $500 euros, would expect more from a so-called boutique hotel. I’d recommend Amphora Hotel instead. For $200 less you get a nice room, a beautiful pool & deck; an excellent lobby & bar; and a wonderful buffet breakfast. Oh yes, they have a beach on the water.

There is nothing to fault this hotel except the sea view rooms are too small, unless you are a solo traveller with no suitcase. ||The location is excellent, right next to the water where the ferry comes in. It is lively but not noisy. ||The included breakfast at the BB Club is excellent. The locally made croissants and bagels are so light plus there is plenty of hot choices. The breakfast manager, Irma is extremely helpful and polite. ||Our sea view room was plush but the design could have made better use of the limited space. Get rid of the chair by the window and there would be room to open a suitcase. |If I stayed here again I would upgrade to a larger room

My wife and I stayed at this hotel, and it was excellent! The location was perfect, in the centre of everything walkable to all. Our room overlooked the marina, and the view was enjoyable with the many boats and luxury yachts going in and out. The staff were so friendly, kind and accommodating , nothing was to much trouble. The all, inclusive breakfast was great - buffet and order hot food from the menu. I was there for my birthday and was presented with a cake and candle at breakfast. On our last day they gave us fruit and sandwiches for the travel home. We were happy with our stay and accommodation. and we would recommend. We have travelled to many places around the world but have never experienced such a fantastic breakfast has at this hotel.

I visited Riva Marina a few days ago with some friends, and we had such a lovely evening. We came for cocktails, and Berna, the bartender, was incredibly kind and helpful. She gave us great recommendations and really knew her craft. Her positive energy made a big difference! Our waiter, Marin, was also very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The service overall was warm and professional. Definitely a place I’d recommend for a relaxed night out with friends. Thanks again, Berna and Marin!

We had a wonderful holiday in Hvar and your exceptional hotel was the highlight. For location, friendliness and attention to detail I don't think it could be beaten. I was there for my birthday and was presented with cake and candle at breakfast - a complete surprise. Irma and Anna were so pleasant , as we're all the staff - reception, housekeeping and waiters. The breakfast was amazing! Linda and Howard Joy, England

This is like ‘an almost’ Belmond experience- it’s that good. |Superb location, immaculate and well presented property. |Breakfast is very good, managed by the exceptional Irma. A wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble, she completely looks after all of her guests. Food choice is fabulous and you cannot get a better setting. Thank you to Irma for making this our favourite part of our stay. |From the moment we were greeted on the promenade from the boat, by friendly Peter the porter,we had a feeling this experience would be special and it was. |We loved this hotel and its people. ||*Try and get a room on 3rd floor. |Upgrade if availability as standard rooms are tight on space, especially if you’re staying more than a couple of nights (teeny tiny wardrobe)|*There is no pool at all. Be prepared for very limited beach access. (It is possible sometimes for you to use the sister hotel’s pool but it is covered over.
