Yelp
Up front: a disappointing experience, and I do not recommend dining at this restaurant until next year at the earliest. This restaurant has several kinks to work out.
My family and I dined here for an early dinner on 14 July. Knowing the business opened about a month ago, we expected some growing pains but thought, "hey, it's the Four Seasons, so it's still got to be great." Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start.
While serving our first round of drinks, our server dropped one of our drinks, going all over our table and the floor. Not a big deal, but the incident rattled our inexperienced server. Our server brought out an appetizer we didn't order only to take the food back after sitting at our table untouched for five minutes. We also didn't receive our truffle fries appetizer until after our dinner was served. Now for the dinner...
Our group ordered the flank steak, the burger, the panini, and the salmon. The flank steak, while tasty, was overcooked despite requesting medium. Like the review by Eric, the burger was overcooked and lacked flavor despite it's myriad of ingredients. The salmon was served uninterestingly on a bed of greens with nothing to give interest and was also (you guessed it!) overcooked and dry. The panini tasted as though it came out of a vending machine.
Similar to Eric's experience, the fries and drinks were the highlight. The bar produced great drinks; a cool bar adjacent to the pool on the terrace in the summer months.
I was surprised to see there was no manager checking in on the guests, asking about their experience. Our server was at first very attentive though as incidents compiled - the dropped drink, the forgotten appetizer, the incorrect appetizer - he began to withdraw and was absent when we wanted our check. You would expect a restaurant at the Four Seasons to bend over backwards to mitigate/fix/correct any complaints from the guests, yet no effort was made.
I love the Four Seasons, so it was disappointing to have such a negative experience; not worth the money to experience amateur hour. I understand it's new, but the opening team clearly dropped the ball at a hotel with such a high reputation.
