Rivaaj located at The St. Regis Doha, is an impressive fine dining place which offers top-tier Indian cuisine with royalty. * Food Quality & Presentation: Must try are their Raj Kachori and Samosa Chaat. Their Biryanis, Dal and Khad Gosht are equally flavourful and beautifully plated. They have Signatures drinks mixed with Indian spices and herbs which are so perfect for the evenings. Desserts—being my favourite are handmade and authentic. * Ambiance and Setting: The interiors are warm with red velvet seating and soft golden lights. Comfortable seating arrangements for family and groups with live Indian music playing sometimes. However, the only downside for me was the volume which was a little high for a calm setting. * Service and Pricing: Service is swift and staff is friendly and attentive. The managers and Chefs directly approached us for the reviews and preferences. It was my husband’s birthday and he is lactose intolerant, so the chef served us a lactose free dessert (not in the menu) which was an extremely commendable and thoughtful gesture. Rivaaj falls into the premium fine dining bracket and therefore it is expensive. But truly the quality, service and ambience justifies the price. * Cleanliness & Hygiene: I would say - high standards in hygiene and presentation. From table settings to restrooms, everything is spotless. Overall, it is a standout choice to experience Indian cuisine and creative drinks in a gorgeous setting.

We went for the set menu which was 150 per person. It was very good value for money the staff was so incredibly kind and attentive. The food itself was very good the items on the set menu we’re kind of hit and miss. I personally did not like the beef main dish but mostly everything else was very good, and such a unique experience, the only downside was the performer, the live music was a bit noisy but still we had a great time

Brilliant service from Karthik from the very moment we stepped through the door to the end, made us feel very welcomed and looked after. The food was excellent quality and taste. We had the veg and non-veg thali, which gave us a wide selection and fantastic value for money. Very nice touch from the team to give us a cake to celebrate our anniversary. I can see why this restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants in Doha. Will return here again, when we are in town.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Experience of My Recent Dinner Visit. Last night, I visited the restaurant for dinner, and unfortunately, my experience was not so good. Ambiance: The restaurant ambiance is nice, creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining. I would rate it 3 stars for ambiance. Food Quality: However, the food quality did not live up to the restaurant's fame. The starters were particularly disappointing; I only liked the Malai Chicken, while the rest were just okay. The Biryani in the main course was somewhat tasty but unfortunately too salty. The Butter Naan was drenched in butter, making it difficult to enjoy, and the Prawns Curry was absolutely terrible. The only dish we truly liked was the Daal Makhani. The Raita was so thick it resembled glue, and the dessert options were limited to just two items: half a Gulab Jamun and Malai Kulfi, which were tasty. For the food, I can only give a maximum of 2 stars. Service: Additionally, the service at the table was very slow, which added to the overall dissatisfaction. Entertainment: On a positive note, the lady singer had a really good voice, and we enjoyed most of the songs. However, they didn’t play our requested song, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, while the ambiance and entertainment were enjoyable, the food and service left much to be desired.

Fantastic Indian food, this restaurant has a Michelin recommendation and that’s for sure worth it. Service is very good and helpful. We were there with our 2 kids and they did really their best to make it also comfortable for them. They served less spicy food and gave them ice cream and fries.

I am feeling saddened for not giving 5 stars, it's just for the pani puri, which was missing the ragda or the potato filling. We went for the Thursday brunch set menu costing us QAR 195 per person. The items were value for money. Being a non-vegiterian, I loved the items like tangdi kebab, Malai Tikka, Grilled prawn, Hamour fish Tikka as a starter and there was a live station for chicken tacos , samosa chat too, all the items tasted authentic and blissful. There are options for cocktails and juices. The main course had biryani , prawn curry and chicken butter masala. I haven't had so simple chicken biryani in Qatar yet. It was so aromatic, and that basmati grain was superbly cooked. Now come to the service provided by Leah and Suvankar, who explained the menu and what are available for us in live stations and drinks. You guys are very good in your job 👍, which for sure has compelled me to visit again. Last but not least, you won't find better kulfi than what they provided. It was a awesome dinning experience. RIVAAJ at St. Regis is truly a gem for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine! The food was absolutely incredible rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Each dish we tried was a delightful blend of spices and tradition. What made the experience even more special was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a great time. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything felt seamless and welcoming.
