RIVAAJ offers the best Indian food I've had anywhere in the world. Everything was perfectly seasoned. We had the lamb chops and butter chicken which blew us away. Service was excellent and they were very knowledgeable accommodating to our gluten free diet. This will be the place I will visit first when I'm in Qatar. Thanks for the incredible experience

The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, making sure every detail of our meal was perfect. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care and authenticity. The menu offers a great variety, so there’s something for everyone, whether you enjoy classic favorites or want to try something new. What really stood out was the attention to detail—every bite reflected quality and passion. The service was prompt without ever feeling rushed, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. Rivaaj Restaurant has truly set a high standard, and we can’t wait to return next time we’re in Doha. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

Rivaaj located at The St. Regis Doha, is an impressive fine dining place which offers top-tier Indian cuisine with royalty. * Food Quality & Presentation: Must try are their Raj Kachori and Samosa Chaat. Their Biryanis, Dal and Khad Gosht are equally flavourful and beautifully plated. They have Signatures drinks mixed with Indian spices and herbs which are so perfect for the evenings. Desserts—being my favourite are handmade and authentic. * Ambiance and Setting: The interiors are warm with red velvet seating and soft golden lights. Comfortable seating arrangements for family and groups with live Indian music playing sometimes. However, the only downside for me was the volume which was a little high for a calm setting. * Service and Pricing: Service is swift and staff is friendly and attentive. The managers and Chefs directly approached us for the reviews and preferences. It was my husband’s birthday and he is lactose intolerant, so the chef served us a lactose free dessert (not in the menu) which was an extremely commendable and thoughtful gesture. Rivaaj falls into the premium fine dining bracket and therefore it is expensive. But truly the quality, service and ambience justifies the price. * Cleanliness & Hygiene: I would say - high standards in hygiene and presentation. From table settings to restrooms, everything is spotless. Overall, it is a standout choice to experience Indian cuisine and creative drinks in a gorgeous setting.

Simply amazing . Such a polite and welcoming staff .. I was genuinely impressed by the affection staff shows towards the customer . We were walked through ingredients and were given proper details . Food is impeccable especially the kebabs . Ambiance is lovely . We also ordered thaali it has sufficient quality with awesome options like Palak saag , mix veg sabji , paneer sabji and my personal fav the daal makhani..

We went for the set menu which was 150 per person. It was very good value for money the staff was so incredibly kind and attentive. The food itself was very good the items on the set menu we’re kind of hit and miss. I personally did not like the beef main dish but mostly everything else was very good, and such a unique experience, the only downside was the performer, the live music was a bit noisy but still we had a great time

Rivaaj Restaurant in Doha has nice décor and friendly staff. The food tastes good but a bit inconsistent at times. Some dishes are great, while others feel average for the price. Live music was being played. Nice voice but it was played too loud. Overall it’s a decent place for Indian food, but there’s room for improvement.

Your biryani chicken stood out as a defining highlight. It arrived with fragrant saffron basmati, perfectly separated grains, and tender, richly spiced meat. The lamb biryani, in particular, featured melt‑in‑the‑mouth lamb shank that spoke of slow cooking and depth

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately my experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The menu had some great options, but the flavors felt a bit muted compared to the vibrant spices I usually associate with Indian cuisine. The portion sizes were smaller than expected for the price. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, which I truly appreciated. With some improvements to consistency in flavor and presentation, I think this place could really shine. I hope to give it another try in the future once these areas are addressed.
