Very good Mexican food with lots of options 👌. Specials everyday and of course I don't miss the crispy chicken tacos on Monday and Wednesday for 99 cents each. They taste so 👍 good

Got the chicken tacos that are the Wednesday special for $0.99 each. Great deal. My only complaint is they were extremely greasy and chicken was a little dry somehow. But overall good for the special price.

The ordering process was fairly easy but when you get to the window to pay and you will end up waiting an additional 15-20 minutes to receive your food. Seemed to defeat the purpose of a drive-thru. Why is there an additional 3.9% card usage fee? The location is prime but overall it felt like overpriced Mexican food with Roberto's quality. I wont go back.

Updated review (6/19/25): Google says closes 11:30, their door says 11, but I arrived at 10:30 and the doors were locked and no one drive-thru. Saw people inside. Now I will for sure never go here again. (6/12/25)Not bad. Close to the house. $11 for two tacos is a little high, so I might not visit too often. Workers were cool and they can also add habaneros to the tacos for the spicy food weirdos (like me).

Second time now I’ve gone through the drive-thru and no one is there. I even called the store and the phone just kept ringing. How can you have your open sign on but not actually have someone working?

We didn't stay to eat so beyond entering the building and waiting for our food I can't speak to the prolonged atmosphere. It was clean, empty, and didn't feel or appear cluttered unlike some Mexican eateries; in my opinion, a lot of Mexican establishments have a lot going on decorative-wise (including table & chair placement and quantity) on top of their pictorial menu all over the walls and windows making some of those establishments feel a bit grimy even if they're not. Working were 2 youngsters and I say that as a literal description - the cashier was an 11-year-old boy and the cook didn't look older than his late teens, so I'd guesstimate his age to be no older than 21/22. Well-spoken, personable, and smiling throughout the exchange, the kid seemed to enjoy working and mentioned he'd been doing so for a year or two; by well-spoken I meant educated and in no way referencing his accent. The kid was friendly and made small talk easily while the other employee seemed shy. They worked well together! As for the food, well... it wasn't the best Rivas I've ever had but not the worst. On its own, it holds up just fine but I was craving the specific flavoring and texture I get from my favorite location therefore I was disappointed and considered it to be lacking. So keep in mind folks, every Rivas has just minor tweaks from one location to the next, and if you're going to any location besides your favorite, be prepared for minute changes to your cravable dish.

Door locked and drive thru unresponsive at 10:30pm when open sign is on and everything says they close at 11pm. And I see a worker inside. 8/22/25

The guy who cooked my food is very unhygienic! He didn’t even wash his hands or use hand sanitizer at least before cooking my food. He prepared my food while wearing a glove on one hand, which was the same glove he was wearing when I saw him outside! I wanted to puke. I realized it after I walked out of the restaurant. I ended up giving the food to my dogs. To management, please train your staff well; this guy needs further training in proper food handling! To future customers, please READ the reviews first before going to this restaurant! Save yourself money and/or from possible illness by not eating at this dirty restaurant. You don't know where the cook’s hands have been or what he’s touched before touching your food.

I'm here to give Rivas the respect it deserves everyone. Youre not coming here for a fine dining experience youre coming here for bomb Mexican food. As far as drive thru dining goes I gotta say the quality is on it! Big portions and they don't skimp out on the meat either! I got the al pastor fries which was packed full of really flavorful marinated pork, cheese, guac, sour cream and pico de gallo. I would order again but this time I wouldn't pig out so hard and force myself to finish them, this is definitely a large plate. Haddddd to smother each bite in some salsa. They have red and green which both are good, not the most amazing ever but still have some spice to it. I wish for the real hitters out there that they would do a habanero salsa but I personally like to sweat and clear my sinuses when I eat. Next we had a bean, cheese & rice burrito. Good ratio and flavor. Cant really go wrong here We finished with some hard shell shredded beef tacos. These are packed and crunchy. Everything you want. Meat is well seasoned and shell isn't overly greasy. Add salsa guys it's there for a reason and it's not a cover up it's an enhancer! I really encourage people to come here and order something good. You can't go wrong with some good Mexican food and after a long day when youre too lazy to cook this is the answer!

So close proximity to my CUZ while I'm visiting and was to see excited to finally try but sadly was super disappointed and underwhelmed!!! Crunchy taco.... Beef was abundant but also abundantly dry!!! The shell was inedible HARD, OLD and over fried? Taquitos....unfortunately the exact same!!! Not sure but I think hand rolled but maybe cooked too many times or over cooked? Not sure but be cautious!!! Almost choked a tooth!! Space was clean and staff were nice but the highlight is definitely the Green sauce!!! I don't think a standard salad verde....Had a little paste texture but just the right amount of heat!!! I will be back to try something softer next time I'm in town but definitely don't recommend anything crunchy from the menu!!!

We ordered an al pastor quesadilla and a steak quesadilla, as well as a steak torta. All were delicious! I'll be visiting quite often as this location is within walking distance of my new house! When there, we may have caused an argument between the sweet abuela taking the order and the cook. Our bad!! We just really don't like tomato.

Driven by this place for awhile and was waiting for a time to stop by for some Mexican food. Typical fast food mexican but decent flavors. I would try it again. Small quiet place in the spring valley summerlin border of Las Vegas.

Ordered the signature burrito. "Rivas burrito" he says it came with al pastor and carne asada and beans etc. it felt like I was given a bean and cheese burrito. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place or location I had high expectations due to the other locations change the cook or something

The guy at the counter was nice. I asked him if the breakfast burrito came with beans and he confirmed it did. Got home to eat my burrito and it was missing the beans. Burrito taste very basic, it didn't stand out, Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Has anyone ever received at carne asada burrito that the meat was so dry and hard as a rock that it wasn't edible? Yeah, I get it pre cook before u serve to make it faster but WTF... no one was in your store... now I know y!!!!! This place is not worth talking about. Drive a mile or 2 to habanero you'll thank me. You used to be good Rivas... sad to say not anymore!!!

The guy working in the back took forever to even acknowledge us standing there even though he saw us. It was awkward when we ordered as clearly he was annoyed to have customers. The food was subpar. The water cups are literally like paper shot glasses allowing you one sip of water. The place smelled like bleach. Someone left their sandals in the hallway leading to the bathroom on a chair. Cleaning supplies were out. This place is lame.

I always order my food in advance and make sure I tip the workers...however they never make my food and I always have to wait when I pick it up. Same thing every time. This has happened so many times I felt compelled to write a review as I wait for the food I ordered 40 minutes ago. Very disappointed as usual. Remeber this isn't the first time- this is the 10th time these guys have back burnered my order. Had to stand up for my family.

I can't say enough about this place. to start, the staff makes you feel great service dining in or even the drive thru. they really made my experience that much better. Definitely returning soon. I ordered the pozole. There was perfect anmount of meat and corn, and the flavor of the caldo was delicious! All of the condiments were prepared and provided without even having to request anything, and the pozole was at a perfect temperature.

When they first opened portion sizes were very good but they're cut down significantly on portion sizes. It may seem like they lack customer service but I think it may be a cultural thing. I still go here Every once in a while but my body really doesn't tolerate Mexican food like it used to.

Carne asada burrito was great, Asada fries delicious, service excellent. Great little place, would come again for sure!

LIES! Doors locked at 8:30 am. Why even have breakfast burritos on the menu if you don't open until lunch? Complete waste of a trip over here. It's a shame because it wouldn't be hard to compete with the really weak breakfast burrito market here in the southwest part of town.

Rivas is my favorite drive-thru fast food style mexican food. This is not fancy sit down mexican food. It is similar to Robertos or Don Tor Taco but I feel these guys are WAY better. First off they have al pastor, which you don't commonly see at other fast food style mexican restaurants. It is cooked to perfection and is so delicious. I typically get the pastor nachos which are big enough for 2 (or 1 if you're hangry). I typically get extra cheese and sour cream and they do not skimp on it! Some places don't really give much extra when you ask, but these guys do! The food is always cooked right there after you order it and is always hot a delicious. Also, their bean and cheese quesadilla is a must try if you like bean and cheese burritos! So simple but so tasty! Rivas has been my favorite for a few years now. Glad I came across this west-side location!

Being from SD we are spoiled with some really good taco shops and not very many can compare. My son had told me about Rivas' carne asada fries and he said it was pretty good but since then just never had a chance to try it until today. I always see their banners hanging when driving around town. We went to the Hualapai location and ordered through the drive thru. We ordered 2 carne asada fries, 1 order of beef rolled tacos (5) & a large horchata. Service was quick and the guy at the window was very nice. After handing our order we asked for more salsa (both red & green) and he gladly put some more in the bag. When we got home and opened the containers I was surprised with how much meat there was. It was very well flavored. The rolled tacos were good too. Both salsas were good especially the green but I think they could be spicier. I wish we had a location a little bit closer to home. I did knock off s star because of their app. I created an account and when I was ready to check out it had me log in which I did but it kept saying account blocked by admin. I think that could use some improvement as ordering ahead is more convenient but the drive thru experience was great.

I've been eyeing this place when it's late at night and I KNOW I shouldn't eat. I have been able to control and contain myself until one day for lunch my husband asked me what I wanted to eat. I told him let's try this place. So he went to pick up (we don't go to many places anymore due to this pandemic) and I ordered the Al Pastor Quesadilla. I'm pretty sure my husband ordered the burrito but I was too busy looking at my quesadilla. Overall, it was bit oily/greasy but still had good flavor. I would definitely go back and possibly order something else. The quesadilla had unequal parts of meat so that was a bummer. My husband thoroughly enjoyed it and said he would definitely go back too. Nice to have another option so close to home.

I'll start this off with I blame whoever's in charge of the finances, the lady working the counter was extremely sweet and god bless her. This was the only Rivas left in Vegas that I hadn't been to yet. I love the food and cheery customer service, as well as their dollar chicken tacos on Wednesdays. However this Rivas is either having a quality shortage or is under some awful leadership. If it was just the issue I had with the seemingly satirical size of the water cups they offer, I would've reluctantly let it pass. But then to make matters worse, it was a total mess, leftover food and sauce all over the tables, floor and trash cans; warm fountain water that I'm fairly certain had an unintentional addition swimming in it due to the very acidic taste, and best of all the food was prepared horribly. The hard shells of the tacos were all broken and soggy (they weren't sitting in the wrapping, I ate in the restaurant), the chicken was either overcooked (unlikely) or had been cooked forever ago and sitting for a long time until it was dried out. I can look past the occasional negligence of workers that I'm sure are underpaid for their hard work, however the laughable size of the water cups are a front line example that it's not the fault of the employees but definitely the result of piss-poor management, even the cashier was shocked when she found out the water cups that were being provided. Very surprising for a restaurant that's in a generally more expensive area of Vegas. I suppose that's what happens when an establishment is run by someone who doesn't know the business. This never happens in any of the other Rivas. I absolutely will not be returning to this specific location, and have sent these pictures to all of my friends that eat at this restaurant as well as posted about this on my social media. Very disappointing and borderline insulting; I highly recommend whoever is in charge of things at this location that they pull their head out from between their legs and get back in touch with reality. Before you think "water is free, stop complaining", I still gave the company my business; just because a product is free doesn't mean you should make your paying customers look like a bozo for requesting a provided service.

This is a pretty good place. If you love burritos, and if you love tacos, this is a good place. I haven't had a bad burrito or bad taco here, so whichever you pick is just as good as the next. A lot of my family loves their Carne Asada, and I really like their chicken tacos. They also make excellent enchiladas. This place is very efficient with fast service and very cool service because everyone is always friendly and very helpful. The inside is very clean and it's pleasant. That's important because you can tell they take pride in their restaurant and the food they make. Great place to which I go back to repeatedly and highly recommended.

You guys should be ashamed for even serving carnitas this dry. Its not even edible. I'm starting to think they reuse food from the previous day. Not even my dog would eat it. Idk what happened to this location, But I will not be going back. DO BETTER Edit: they remade my meal, you can see the difference. One looks like rocks & the other looks like what you'd expect to get when you order a $15 carnitas combo. My Karen moment is over. Thank you for being understanding.

I've been to this specific Rivas over 10 times in the past few months and the amount of times they have gotten my order incorrect is ridiculous. This morning I asked for a breakfast burrito with no cheese and a little rice, what did I get? I got a breakfast burrito with cheese and no rice. The fact is I order from inside and speak to the employees face to face so I'd like to think they respect and listen to their customers but I guess not. I didn't open any of the food until I got home which is why I didn't ask for a replacement. The last time I came, I asked for a #1 steak combo and received an Al Pastor combo. Luckily, I opened to make sure and showed the employee and received my correct order. I've lost track/count of what other orders were messed up in the past but that was enough. I don't think I'll return, Roberto's/Durangos will be it for me I guess.

Drive-thru! Food isn't bad for a counter-service joint. I like the (crispy) Fish Torta, Chicken Chimichanga and Chile Relleno.

Got my first Tada today ( might of spelled it wrong ) but it's so delicious ! I bought a steak one and it's amazing ! I recommend this place high on my scale completely;) enjoy

Ordered 2 Enchilada plates and the tortillas were hard and not cooked and the cheese wasn't even melted, the rice was nasty. Waste of money cause it all went in the trash

Due to Covid, we've only done the drive thru. This was our 2nd time and still as incredible (if not better than) the first time. The asada fries are super heavy! They weigh like 5-6 pounds! So impressed!!! The asada has some serious flavor. So much better than Roberto's cheap steak that is tough. Rivas' meats are great & they don't hide how much meat they give by trying to cover it with cheese or beans. They proudly serve their asada right on top! Bites of fresh onion, homemade pico and guacamole, and fresh jalapeños were even more impressive. It's only a little more than Roberto's but so much more food (seriously you could feed a small army) and so much better flavor. Thank you again for coming to our neighborhood.

So glad this place sent a mailer to my house. I'd been driving by for awhile and when I saw the mailer I decided to try it out. The drive thru is clutch! Ok let me calm down and explain the benefits and cons. so this place is open 24/7 and the prices are fair. I'm a pescatarian and it's nice to have some options. I got the shrimp fries and they were tasty. Shrimp was abundant and the fries cooked well. The flavors are not insanely amazing but it's a good solid choice for some decent tasting and fair priced convenient Mexican food. The drive thru is also great when you're getting off work and just don't have the energy to get out of your car. The staff is friendly and I'll definitely return.

If you enjoy paying $4-5 extra dollars for Robertos or Don Tortaco then look no further folks! This place is everything you could hope and imagine. The food tastes exactly the same as any Roberto's or Don Tortaco I've ever been to with the added benefit of it costing more money! The food is not bad, it's not worth $30 for two people to eat there for dinner though! For $30 I can go to a great deal more places and get much better food, much better service, and a much nicer environment. Wasn't impressed and probably will not be returning as I do not enjoy breaking the bank for basic Mexican food. Helpful Tip: Both the red sauce AND green sauce are spicy! But the green will make you wish you invested in the Charmin Ultra.

Solid quick Mexican food. I couldn't think of anything wrong with my visit. We drove pass on a whim, heard it was opening soon. Saw the the open sign, and swerved right in (not even hungry) lol. Location/restaurant: Is far for me, but worked out as I was doing errands. Small lot, plenty of parking and drive thru available too. It's brand spanking new, very clean. Food: Hit the spot, spot. We had the carnitas fries and steak fries, all excellent. Crispy fries, heavy hand on cheese and meat. Crispy tacos, I tried both the chicken and beef. Both good but chicken was favored, it was juicy moist and tender. Service/would I come again?: Hell Yes. Service was bomb, I went inside and genuinely asked/cared if we needed anything and enjoyed our food. Super uncommon for a taco shop. Side note: I watched how the cashier was being super patient with someone not familiar with the food. What was inside a Cali burrito? (Forreal), he answered patiently and explained he can alter to his liking. Real nice people, good people and food.

Their 24/7 drive thru comes in clutch for any late night food needs you may have. I ordered chicken tacos from their drive thru on two occasions. They prepare your order within 5 minutes as you wait in your car at window. The tacos are a decent size and the tortillas are soo good. One less star because it can be difficult for them to understand your order and your order might be slightly wrong so make sure to check your food as soon as you receive it!

Ordered the Pozole, literally only got 5 pieces of meat for $14. I know times are tough but you have to serve a little more for that price.

My only problem with this place was the prices. $12.50 for adobada quesadilla and $4 for adobada taco. However, the food was delicious. The taco was so filled with meat that I had to eat it with a fork. I noticed they don't openly advertise there daily specials. You have to move a plant away from the signage to see what the special is. Overall, I enjoyed dinner very much.

Good food for the price and speed of preparation. It's one of the better fast food Mexican restaurants.

I went to two different locations (Windmill and Hualapai). I had the menudo. They tasted different. Windmill lacked flavor and meat (a lot of onions, no lime but lemon). The Hualapai had a little more flavor but lacked the depth of traditional. They had more meat (loved it) but the condiments only came with onions (no red peppers nor onion, and cilantro.). Very clean in side and the staff nice

This place. It's sad to see it go so far downhill. The food is good, when they get your order right. I mean every single time I go, I order at the drive thru. Repeat myself at least 2 times. Get to the window to pay and have to give them my order AGAIN. That's not all, they read it back WRONG 3 times. I correct them 3 times. Call over the cook... he reads it back wrong, I correct him twice and guess what??? Now I'm pretty sure my order will not be right. As we unpack. Yup. No carne asada on my tostada. Just beans. Not adobada, but Pastor. It's insane. I don't usually post these negative reviews but they really need to get it together over there. Won't be back for a good while!

I ordered Postmates from this location for a couple sausage breakfast burritos and I will stick to my regular location in Henderson. They put old French fries in the burritos instead of fresh diced potatoes like they do at the other location and they barely put any sausage. Luckily Postmates refunded my order but I was very disappointed that a simple order was messed up by cutting corners and repurposing old food/fries.

This Rivas never disappoints my hunger cravings and the speed of service is great the carne asada fries are unbelievably tasty best steak quality in vegas fast Mexican places like this.... Come on in get some horchata in the heat everything on menu is worth every penny .... Fast Mexican food should never be too fast so don't complain about waiting a few for your hot delicious Mexican cravings ... enjoy

This is my go-to Mexican restaurant in my area. I love the carnitas on everything! Put it inside a shoe and I may even eat it out of there lol! And on Wednesday they have the crunchy chicken tacos for $1, I love them so much. I have yet to have a bad meal from here.

I added 1-star review 2'weeks ago. No one from the company has replied and no one has reached out to me. Proves my point about service...it doesn't matter to them. Tried to find contact information about the company and learned it's hidden from the public. The company doesn't want us to know how to contact them. What the ? Failure And neglect go hand in hand. HEY RIVAS prove to me you give a crap and I'll write about it!

Way overpriced !!!! Long wait and the quality is not that good. U can find better food for cheaper down there street

We had the breakfast burritos from here our first time and they were delicious! So much better then robertos or those other nasty places. We tried the steak, bacon and the ham breakfast burrito and they had flavor and was just so good. Tonight we are eating here again and ordered chicken fingers, menudo, and fish torta. All so good. I love supporting small businesses especially Hispanic ones. And it's down the street from home. We will back. And open 24 hours! With drive thru

Finally got a Rivas by us. I have heard good things about this place so tonight I decided to check it out. They have a coupon that allows you to get certain items for $5.99 with a drink. ::please note take the coupon with you or they will not honor the deal. Luckily the guy who helped me still gave me the deal:: I got the 2 cheese enchilada plate with horchata and my son a side of fries. (He already ate but loves his fries) The food was delicious. The sauce was great and not overly salty. The beans tasted fresh and not from a can. The rice was perfect texture and had a great balance of flavor. I asked for the salsa because I do like to pour it over my rice and beans. The red salsa and am amazing kick and flavor. The green sauce was the perfect flavor of salty and lemony flavor. The horchata tasted like it was made from scratch and not from a box. It wasn't chalky and not overly sweet. Definitely cannot wait tobgo back and try the carne asada fries!!

Honestly foods okay, really nasty customer service for whatever reason and it seems like the staff only gets lively and jolly when someone spanish speaking comes through their door. I'd try the drive through if I were you, less interaction with the staff would probably serve you best or just go somewhere else if you're up for a drive. It's only saving grace for me is it's right next to my house.

they only want to serve people who speak spanish they're very racist, if you don't speak spanish they have an attitude, and will let your food sit in the bag while they bag other people's order and give it to you last. the food taste okay but it definitely over priced for a smaller portion then roberto's

Our new obsession! About to order from them again tonight! Everything that we have had so far has been amazing! You absolutely must try the steak fries! Tacos, burritos and chimichangas are also fab! So glad that we have a new fave Mexican restaurant close to home! Oh, and the prices are great, too!

DISCUSTING!!! Enchiladas smothered in sauce. Was to be cheese enchiladas however , filled mainly with rice. WTF They don't answer phone it just says Busy. Don't waste your money. Paid for tortillas and didn't get them. So I couldn't even make a rice and bean burrito. It's seriously very bad !

Within the last two weeks a taco shop chain just opened up a new location down the road by a gas station which doesn't have the quality and service as Rivas Mexican Grill. Since this place opened I have gone at least twice a week because the quality of the food along with the service. I have tried a lot of items on the menu and I am impressed which keeps me coming back for more. Now this is more of a fast food place as compared to Juan's or others in the area but if you are craving quick good Mexican this is your spot.

Really good steak fries, glad they have a drive thru also, super convenient when craving carne asada fries.

There food is very good but the place is disgusting. The tables smell like sh!t and the bathroom smell like dirty mop. The customer service is OK. They watch you while you eat and they give off dirty looks. BTW the place smelt so bad my friend left to go throw up outside. unbelievable.

Fantastic Mexican food. I ordered food for 8 and 12 friends showed up. I had plenty of food. Servings are large. Great service

Rivas is my go to place for breakfast burritos in our neighborhood. The carne asada is on point. The green salsa is . The horchata is not too sweet and easily drinkable and thirst quenching. Much much better than Robertos, habaneros, faustos, etc
