We visited this fine dining establishment for Saturday brunch and it was delicious! I ordered fish and grits and the fish was perfectly seasoned and fried to a crispy golden brown. The grits were also well seasoned and had the perfect amount of cheese. My daughter had chicken and waffles and she enjoyed her meal as well. We will definitely be coming back to explore the dinner menu one day soon.

This place is beyond amaaaaazing! With great food, a great hospitality motto with perks every time you visit and a very cute shabby chic decor! I've been telling everyone I know about this! The fried brussel sprouts changed... my... LIFE! 😶

I've been here a number of times. Food and service are always on point. Michelle was our server during our last visit. She's kind and professional. Chef Max does some great things with those Jerk Ribs. Deliciously tender! On my very first visit 2yrs ago some friends and I did Chef's Table. Amazing experience! I only gave it 4 stars because they have gnats. It's annoying trying to eat with them CONSTANTLY flying around.

The quality of food at the River Bistro was wonderful. I had the beef short ribs that were extremely tender with a wonderful barbecue sauce and the brussels sprouts were amazing I can’t rave enough about the quality and texture of the scalloped potatoes I felt like I was in a five-star restaurant having a meal when I brought it home. I can’t wait to try something new from the menu they even had ice cream sandwiches with chocolate ganache. I’m thrilled that this restaurant exists in Rosedale Park. They have a great and a good quality food.

The food was prepared nicely. The service was great. You can Byob which is really cool. This place is black owned and the guy owns another restaurant downtown. Although the place is tiny inside I will be back again

Charming neighbourhood Caribbean-influenced Soulfood spot in Northwest Detroit’s Rosedale Park neighbourhood. I’d come back for both the Shrimp and Grits (served with a curry sauce) and the (apple-y) Bread Pudding.
