5 stars all the way! From the amazing service to the delicious food, we fell in love! My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary and everything was just ✨️Perfection✨️ As soon as you walk through the door, a charming hosting staff welcomes you and guides you to your table, where you're greeted not just by your kind server but also by the sommelier, Alana, who is sweet and incredibly knowledgeable. Their wine list is exceptional! We got a 2019 Brunello that matched perfectly with everything that we ordered. They welcomed us with two glasses of champagne, and everyone was so servicial and kind, a really outstanding staff who made us feel so warm with their embrace! Talking about our server Benny :) I was out of words with such splendid service that he provided us, we're foodies and like to try places but we have never had a better service night like last night's, it was a delight to have Benny as our server, the quantity of knowledge that he has is really amazing! You can tell they take care of their staff, they all look so happy to work there! It was our first but it won't be the last one, we're already planning to come back for round two! We never had an equal experience of amazing food and service, usually one out of the two is missing, but Benny, the staff, and the Chef made a wonderful and exquisite night possible, we're very grateful and will be back for sure!🥂 I also want to shout out the foodrunners, every single time they came to drop off the food, they did it with a smile and explained the whole sense of the plate to understand better, they were phenomenal! Patrick was one of them, I believed, with such a nice attitude and a very kind smile! From the start to the end, we'll always remember last night with so much love and hope to be back sooner than later!🥂✨️

We enjoyed a celebratory birthday dinner at River House, and overall the meal was fantastic—slightly overpriced, but still truly memorable. Our server did a great job answering all of our questions; he was attentive without being overbearing and really helped make the evening enjoyable. We started with the rolls, which I believe were peach-flavored. They were so good that I wanted more than one, but I was determined to save room for everything else. Next, we had the crab cake, which was exceptional—one of the best I’ve ever had. We followed that with the wedge salad and the apple & burrata. Both were beautifully presented and delicious, but the apple & burrata really surprised me. It was unique, unexpected, and absolutely outstanding. For entrées, we chose the Maine lobster tail. I love vanilla, so I was especially curious about the vanilla bean beurre monté. It was incredible—one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. We also tried the venison tenderloin, which was equally delicious, along with a side of asparagus. For dessert, I had my eye on the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake, but since it’s November and not strawberry season in South Carolina, I opted for the C4 instead. It was great as well—we loved trying it. A wonderful dining experience all around!

We had an outstanding dinner at River House for Thanksgiving. We have eaten there multiple times and each time have had a great experience and meal. Thanksgiving was no dinner. We were seated promptly in a nice table with a window and fireplace! The view of Riverhouse over the May river is lovely at sun down. Service was excellent, professional, timely, helpful, unobtrusive. The drinks were, wine selection excellent. The crab cake is to die for and made, who knew, with mostly crab! The file amazing and sides, sauce and deserts all excellent. We visit often and visit Riverhouse frequently. Don't miss it!

Dinner was amazing here. Pretty view from our table, outstanding service from Cole, and all the food was so good! Worth the price tag honestly. They even brought out a snack plate with cheese and apple chips on it for our toddler. 10/10 experience

Highly recommend for a special occasion ! Amazing service and food. We had Maine Lobster for our 8 year Anniversary and birthday celebration. We sat at a beautiful table by the windows to see the gorgeous foliage that surrounds this restaurant. We started with the beef tartar. It was delicious. They also brought homemade peach bread with Amish butter! Our Maine Lobsters were cooked perfectly & server Brysce recommended cocktails and wine to compliment. At the end of our meal they brought us little desserts for our Anniversary and a cute, petite, chocolate mousse. We couldn't have had a more perfect experience. Thank you to the team at Riverhouse and Hush the Speakeasy. We will never forget this day!

The Hungry Detective and Special Agent Deirdre had a fabulous experience while staying at the Montage Palmetto Bluffton. The Food: We started with an incredible wedge salad with Qual egg that was next level. We made our own Surf and Turf meal with the most sweet and succulent lobster tail and venison filet from New Zealand that was cooked perfect. The Service: Bennie and Parker are top shelf and Bennie knows his stuff and made some great selections!!! VERDICT: Guilty as sin for doing it all right!!! This is Michelin star experience hidden gem…great views, incredible food and top tier cocktails🍸🍸🍸 and wine list!! I would give 6 stars if could…it was that good🍽️🍽️🍽️

This dining experience deserves a Michelin rating. The most attentive wait staff, the most delicious flavor creations, the best drinks (Mint Julep!!), the best experience all around. Noel is a top-tier hospitality expert and a model for service and courtesy, who clearly makes the people around him even better through his positivity and charm. Chef Daniel Vesey is a star, from the one-bite lemon-rosemary-ricotta starting gun to whatever finish line you reach, I have never left this restaurant wanting anything, and I’m still smiling about it today. Definitely try the duck confit appetizer for a lesson in how to fry, the steaks are superb, the risotto with squash blossoms was heavenly. The raw Washington oysters were so fresh. Lobster bisque, best I’ve ever tasted—was half tempted to tip the bowl over my face. Sides with the steak were spinach with chicharrones crumbles, wasabi root, mushroom medley (these were absolutely delicious, and Chef does not skimp on quality or quantity of the mushrooms served in individual pots—perfection!), and bone marrow. Even the peach-brioche bread and homemade butter stood out to me. Why are you still reading? Go, make a reservation now. RIVER HOUSE IS THE BEST CULINARY AND DINING EXPERIENCE WITHIN 1,000 MILES.
