Take note that they have shifted to the condo opposite the old stall. Service Friendly and accommodating, will oblige to requests. Value Ordered the $7 plain pork rib selection. What I got was just that, afew pieces of pork ribs with noodles and nothing else. Not exactly good value. Taste There were not a lot of the pork lard/shallot/garlic topping that many prawn noodles stalls provide. For me, taste -wise, did not make the cut. The soup that came with it was a tad too peppery for me and if refill is wanted, it’ll cost $1 which I obviously wouldn’t want to pay for it. Conclusion Not likely to return anytime soon.

Really hearty prawn noodle soup, juicy prawns. I had the small “large prawn noodle” and it came with 3 prawns of different sizes, noodles with some bean sprouts and fried shallots. Highlight was really the soup. The prawns are great but overall, not a lot of value in this considering it was $7. You can choose the type of noodles from yellow, white beehoon and flat rice noodles, and request for the prawns to come peeled. It closes for a couple of hours in the afternoon so check the new operating hours before heading down.

The google pic is misleading. They are actually moved to opposite the road and is now air-con. Refer to picture for the correct location. Ordered pork rib big prawn noodle big for $12. First impression was it was just okay. Noodle was slightly over cooked and lack that al dente. Taste wise it gotten better with the oiliness, chili wasn't anything special and i have to add quite a bit of the chili powder. It is really more on the savory side and pairing with soup might not enhance the taste so don't need to soup dip it. Speaking of soup it was average. I always feel that the decision not to add prawn into the soup for dry prawn noodle is questionable. Soup was indeed average. So in the prawn goes. I beheaded some in the soup while others in the noodle to spread the prawn paste. Head was later added back into the soup. Prawn was suprisingly easy to deshell but another issue i have with stall that don't half or devein their prawn is the intestine are still inside. But at least the prawns are great. Sweet, firm and fresh. Pork rib is more of a miss, pretty tough while it taste porky some might be turn off by it. Personally i feel that it is inconsistent. Some pieces was alright but one was too strong. On another note, the place is quite dirty. I know they absorb gst etc but they really should wipe the table, most of the table are stained to a degree with spilled coffee on the floor.

Located opposite of the old kopitiam it used to be at 3 years ago, the eatery includes prawn noodles and 5 spice (五香) bites to order from. Ordered dried version. The white beehoon is of the thicker type, but works well with the yellow noodles. Hits the right spot for me. Enjoyed the bowl and the soup. Very nice.

I find the prawn noodles here to be just okay for my taste. Honestly, I was expecting a stronger, more “wow” flavor, but it fell short of that. The taste isn’t bad, but it isn’t outstanding either.. somewhere in between. If you’re simply craving prawn noodles and need a quick fix, this place can do the job. That said, I’d like to highlight the 5☆ service. The China lady at the counter was extremely friendly and cheerful. She patiently explained to us that we could even mix our noodles, not just stick to one type, & the different sizes of each bowl meant the quantity of ingredients are more instead of the noodles in case we didn’t know. Her attentiveness really stood out and made the experience a lot warmer.

It’s been a while since I last had Hoe Nam prawn noodles back at their old location across the street. Their new outlet at The Venue shoppes is now air-conditioned, offering a more comfortable dining environment. The ladies taking orders are polite and friendly, which adds to the pleasant experience. Portions are decent, though I find the taste rather average. The soup leans more towards a porky flavor than the rich prawn broth I was hoping for. Overall, it’s still a decent spot to satisfy the occasional prawn noodle craving, but not one I’d go out of my way for.

Best Prawn Mee soup so far. Broth thick full of Prawn taste. Order number 2: the big Prawn Mee, bigger prawns, fresh and crunchy. The fish cake is nice too..

Interesting bowl of prawn noodle. I ordered the small prawns with intestine noodle, with kway teow mee mix. The taste of the noodle mix was good school good taste. The accompanying soup was quite kao and full of umami sweet flavour. All for $8. Seem quite pricey but they gave quite a lot of tiny little prawns. Intestine was ok-ish. Too soft for my liking. Overall, a nice comforting meal.
