Riverfront Grille

We were there for fathers day. We checked it out online and the pictures are definitely from when they first opened. The inside was very dingy, dirty and dark. Like a dive bar atmosphere for sure. The one nice section they had was roped off. We decided to check out the balcony and it's a nice view but only half the deck was shaded. The rest was obviously in the sun. So if it's a hot day like that day you want shade. There was no umbrella for the table. we sat inside and it was cold and just felt dirty. The waitress was friendly but everything took a long time to get it but seemed like the regulars were well taken care of. Took over an hour to get our meals. The food was good. The place wasn't packed at all. Just not a place I would recommend.

1st time eating here and definitely will be back. Loaded baked potato soup in a bread bowl and my husband got beef tacos. $20 out the door for the 2 meals, included a n/a drink too. 🥳

The view on the back deck is beautiful. The service is good. The food is… ok. The potato salad was REALLY BAD. Clearly day old potatoes (maybe 2 day old?) just not yummy at all. BUT our sandwiches were ok. Would be back to try dinner because the view and service are good.

We were too hungry to stop and take pictures of our food, but it was fabulous. The Bang Bang shrimp tacos had great flavor and was a perfect portion size. The BigTen dip was a great appetizer. My 16 y/o son got the double cheeseburger, and it took him a minute to figure out how to get started on it (it was huge! He said "my jaw is tired after eating that") LOL. The chicken wet burrito my husband got was made with big chunks of chicken, and had the perfect balance of flavors. Server was friendly and attentive even though we were the last table and came in pretty late. Stopped for a meal after a late basketball game, and would make the hour and half drive to come for dinner again!

Set in the charming Village of Chesaning the River Front Grill is a go to for close dining. My girls and I enjoy their lunch time specials.

I recently placed an online takeout order(curb side pick up). I unknowingly made a mistake on part of the order. The staff swiftly made another pizza while I waited without wanting anything from me. Thank you so much! You will continue to be our go to spot for pizza! Always yummy!

The food was delicious, but it took quite a while for our server to notice that we had not been waited on yet.

Cute spot, nice seating, lots of screens and room. Food was ok, big servings. Service was prompt and friendly.

Treated poorly when I went in there once. I'll never go back. But hey that's the way she goes

They have really great food and a great atmosphere with friendly staff !!!! I love their selection of beer, including their UPA, which is one of the most outstanding IPAs I've ever Drank

They were so amazing! The food was delicious and very well done. We couldn't stop eating lol staff was super friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stopped in here a year ago and it was terrible. BUT I am so happy to say we tried again last night and had a fantastic experience! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive and the food was tasty. The place was packed when we got there and the staff worked hard to keep up. We will definitely go back again and I'm happy we have another restaurant option in the area!

Best place in town. Great food. Great service. They really care about the community and experience of the customers. I highly recommend.

Was in the area for work. Ordered takeout. It was fast and fresh. Good price at 9.53 out the door. Sandwich was bigger than I was expecting. I would defiantly get it again. I'll make sure to stop again.

The food is typical bar food, but unfortunately the terrible service makes this a restaurant to avoid. Not only was the service slower than average, but the staff was rude to certain people in my group in a way that I have to believe is motivated by biases. Other than that, typical Sysco fare that anyone with a fryer and flat top could cook.

This place has great daily specials depending on your tastebuds. Not that bad daily drink specials too. This is not our first time here and it won't be our last. The staff is friendly and they bust their tail. From time to time the place could use an extra server on the floor but overall they meet the needs of their guests. This place even has some arcade games a pool table and a huge banquet room to accommodate many people.

Good food, prices are average. Not a bag place for lunch. The nachos are my favorite.

This place is awful. Waited 50 minutes for chicken fingers, philly sub, and coney dogs. The food when it did come was cold and had all different things then what they said came on it. The waitstaff is very very slow and not customer engaged. Didn't even offer to take the food that was wrong off the bill or even apologize when we told them food was cold when asking for bill. I will NEVER come here again, nor would I recommend anyone to come here.

Decent food, good environment but overpriced for portion sizes compared to other local establishments.

Amazing food and cute atmosphere. My sister got the Swiss olive burger with pretzel bun and I have the chicle cedar wrap. Great food!!!

Been here a couple of times for events - food was always very good, and drinks are not expensive. Look forward to coming back again in the future.

We walked in and the place is dark no one greets you so we walked in there were 2 girls working the bar who didn't acknowledge us as I said out loud "I guess we seat ourselves"? After awhile one of the girls comes over gets our order I didn't see but my daughter told me the entree I ordered came with soup our salad I had to track down the waitress and finally get my soup ordered. No apology and if didn't figure it out I would have got ripped off! We wondered what was taking so long but the waitresses said nothing but we could here the cook talking about how the shrimp we ordered was taking forever to cook! We waited 40 mins and my husband said out loud to me "we have been here for almost 40 mins where is our food" right as the waitress brought our soup and apologized, which I felt was only because she saw we were annoyed! the soup barely arrived before the main dinner! My dinner was ok i ordered the Mac n cheese that came with 2 toppings I got pulled pork and mushrooms.. the mushrooms were regular white raw mushrooms! I figured they would have cooked them at least!! Then both my son and husbands burgers were charcoaled!! they tasted horrible! My daughters dinner the shrimp with pilaf and Asparagus was small and the most expensive! The whole time the waitress was dressed in inappropriately short shorts part of her butt hung out then and she kept bending over at the bar in front of our table and her butt cheeks literally were hanging out! This is a family restaurant I had my young kids with me! I asked the waitress while we were waiting for the checks if she could split it the order was 3 drinks and and 4 entrees! It took her 10 mins to figure out how to put 2 dinners and 2 drinks on one ticket and 2 meals and 1 on the other! She even brought us our checks and giggled and goes "oops that's still not right" and when back again to fix it! The men's bathroom door even has large hole in it they have not even attempted to patch or cover! Plus I almost fell off the raised booth area Cause the table is not fixed to the ground I put my hand on it while getting up and almost flipped it! My husband said neither are the booths look he moved it and said it shifted when he got up which is unsafe on a foot or higher platform! It seemed they treated regulars nice and to heck with us! We only got 1 refill on our drinks the whole time we were there!!

This place is amazing. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent! This is a great place to hang out with friends and watch the game, or grab dinner with your family.

Horrible experience! Stopped going to Riverfront about a year ago because it was always freezing inside. They were constantly rearranging booths and walls while we we eating and that God awfully loud golf game while people were trying to eat dinner. Gave it another try tonight and was just as if not more disappoint. Husband ordered a well done burger and I ordered the French dip. Waitress said I'd be taking part of my sandwich home because it was that big. Ha! What a joke I had two 6' sub bins with barely enough meat to constitute 1/4 of a sandwich. Removed all the meat and cheese from three of the four halves and put in on the fourth half and THEN I had a sandwich. Sent my husbands burger back because it was over cooked on the outside but the inside was pink and ice cold and no bacon as requested. Called for the waitress five times but she was too busy speaking to another male customer. Finally had to ask another waitress to get her. Told her to just box up the burger because everyone else was done eating and my husband was full on mozzarella sticks. She never said sorry. Never removed anything from our bill. Never questioned why I had three empty pieces Of bread on a spare plate. Obviously my French dip wasn't anywhere near my satisfaction. Never came to the table to check on us on her own. In fact she gave us our bill and never returned. Got home and a few hours later warmed up my husbands burger and it was even more burnt on the outside and pinker on the inside. So we paid $52 w/o tip for a drench dip that equaled 1/4 of the sandwich at best. An improperly cooked burger we had to reorder and still didn't have an edible burger Two orders of Mozzerella sticks. Three beers and a Pepsi. The entire meal was worth $25-$30 AT BEST! Prices are ridiculous for what you get. service sucked and her tip reflected so. Place was being remodeled and looked like a dump. I can't even believe they are still open. I'm a former waitress and I can't believe how unconcerned our waitress was. She acted as if it was no big deal that a meal was sent back and the lack of attention was obsurd. And no, they were NOT busy. We have absolutely no intentions on ever going back. Such a shame. I had high hopes for them at first but I'm seriously wondering how the heck they stay in business.
