First time dining here. Right by the water Okay believe or not The inside isn't as big as you think. Fits about 50 people with bar seatingm Gets busy fast. Came here with my mom and sister around 4:30. The water is self serve and the drinks are from glass bottles. Decent menu has something for everyone. We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza which has fresh pieces of chicken on top and the BBQ sauce was tasty. Overall delicious. We also ordered the BIG MC SLDIDERS with fries and salad. The sliders were the perfect size and the sauce was good too. I Would definitely eat them again. Recommended giving this place a try. Paying about $20 a person. One negative they should have a consistent uniform. Meaning branded shirts worn by all

Google
I attended a special event here on a Friday night and it was my first time here. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice selection of taps and other beverage options. The menu had several things I knew I would have liked, but I settled on the Beef Sliders. They were very good. While it is not a place I will go a lot, as it's 90 minutes from where I live, I can recommend it. I plan on watching their entertainment and special events calendar and returning so I can try some of the other menu items!

I have been coming to River’s Edge since they opened. It’s a nice place with a great atmosphere and location. Although the faces sometimes change, the service has always remained excellent to me. You will find a great selection of beer, with plenty of styles to choose from (which I really like in a brewery). My only complaint is that as of late, I have experienced a decline in the quality of the beer. It’s not terrible by any means, just nowhere near as good as it used to be. I’m not sure the reason (change of supplier, brewer, etc). I will say that the Chubby Benny that has been aging was well worth the wait! It is an Imperial Stout aged in 16 year 1792 bourbon barrels with cacao nibs from Dexter’s one and only Mindo Chocolate Makers.

Google
Amazing Event Space. We already love River's Edge Brewing Co. for its beer, food, and atmosphere. Then we booked our son's rehearsal luncheon in their Huron Room and it really increased our respect for this establishment. Angie booked the event for us and ended up being our bar tender; it was absolutely perfect. The food was great, the beer was great, the service was great. Thanks Angie! We will keep you in mind for any future events we plan.

I ordered the wurst thing on the menu ;) Pro's: Wurst sandwich/fries: absolutely delicious ('A') Peach hard cider ('A') Con's: Squash salad: very good but too salty - the other in the group ordered ('B') Overall: 3.6/4.0

Google
Great place, very good beer! Had a mac and cheese cookoff when I stopped in, very fun! Update 5/2/25 to add photos, the original review was several years ago.

Google
Really disappointed and disgusted, we were in last night and ordered a sausage and cheese platter and Mediterranean fries. Both cheeses were covered in mold, how this passed through multiple hands and actually left the kitchen is super concerning. We are not picky eaters and have never once sent food back or complained. You could see the green mold right away and I thought it was just one piece and was just going to put it aside and still eat until we looked further and it was all covered. Honestly everything else including the chicken on the fries had hard dry edges and looked like it had been sitting out for days.

Google
First time going to this place, they won't bring you a glass of water, you have to go get it yourself across the restaurant. Why would I go to a restaurant to serve myself? Food is good but $3 too much per meal. I won't return 100% because of the self serve water. This is a stupid company policy.

Yelp
We recently visited for St. Patrick's Day, not on the actual day because it fell on Monday this year and they were closed. Instead they had a 4 day celebration with a special food menu. Although I only have a very small percentage of Irish in me, I'm celebrating full on and love anything with corned beef! We went on Thursday figuring it would be the least busy of the 4 days, and let me tell you the dinner crowd was hopping. We snagged the last 2 spots at the bar and ordered. I'm not a beer drinker but I appreciated they had 2 rotating taps for hard cider and went with a lemon flavored cider (sounded intriguing and could have went either way so I appreciated the small sample). I actually really liked it and am bummed I forgot to ask who makes it. We both thought the Irish nachos sounded fun and different and when we asked we found out they were huge and could easily feed 2 people. I'm so glad we decided to try something different. They were on homemade potato chips and had corned beef, bacon, banana peppers, thousand island dressing, sauerkraut and of course cheese and sour cream. They did not skimp on the corned beef or bacon!! The service was friendly and the atmosphere lively. We will definitely be back because the regular menu also looked great!!

Yelp
Came here with family for the live music, which was excellent and made for a lively, fun ambiance. The space is really nice on the inside with plenty of tables. This is a stupid thing but I loved how most of the tables had outlets next to them. As a remote worker it's something that I pay attention to because I'm always looking for spots to work to get out of the house. We ordered some food and drinks for the table. The chips and salsa/guac was good but nothing exceptional but The snack board was fun and plentiful. I loved the pretzel bites and the mustard they came with - so yummy! The selection of beers was decent and I liked how they offered flights. It would have been nice for them to have some sort of "recommended" flight since I wasn't sure what the most popular beers were. I had heard great things about the lemon cider but unfortunately they were out of it for the day. I would definitely come back to try it. Overall this was a nice little afternoon! It's a bit far for me so I likely wouldn't come back frequently but if I were in the area I would absolutely stop back in.

Yelp
Stopped in today for the first time and had lunch. I had a burger and fries which was very good. I had a Hop Passport so I tried two different beers, both were very good. The beer selection was great with a wide variety of styles. The service was great and the brewery itself has a lot of both indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a large parking lot which is always a plus.

Yelp
Our first time here and we will be back. A delightful place with games to play if you choose including darts. The beer choices are ample and a good variety. The beer tastes great. The food menu is awesome. We had a snack of pretzels with homemade mustard which was great. Self serve water which is nice. The service is so friendly and attentive, you feel at home and welcomed. The tables and couches along with a fireplace offers another homey touch to add to the ambiance.

Yelp
Saturday afternoon, looking for something different to do for lunch with a friend. Here is what we liked: * ample parking and nice spot next to the river- hence the River Edge name. * immediate seating on a Saturday afternoon. * good beer list as well as other drinks. * cheese sauce on the pretzels was so good. *french fries with sandwich were good. *brat was quite good in taste What could of been better: *service was slow. At one point our server was off and someone else took over. No communication- just took a long time for things including the bill. I am sure this was not typical but it was the experience today. * flatbread were just ok- needed to be baked a bit longer- crust was a little soft * brat is served on a hamburger pretzel roll- while not bad, the bread to brat ratio just wasn't right. Would definitely like to come and try it again, there was more we liked than didn't and may have been a off day.

Yelp
Walking into River's Edge Brewery feels like coming home - if home had an incredible craft beer selection and mouthwatering comfort food! The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere and staff who treat you like old friends, even remembering your name and favorite brew if you're a regular. The food menu doesn't take a backseat to the brews. Think elevated pub fare that still hits those comfort food cravings - the kind of dishes that pair perfectly with a cold one after a long day. Everything tastes homemade, because it is. What really sets River's Edge apart is the staff. In a world of increasingly impersonal service, they've maintained that small-town friendly vibe where everybody knows your name (or will soon enough). It's become my go-to spot not just for the excellent beer and food, but because it feels like my own personal "Cheers." If you're looking for a brewery that combines craft beer expertise with genuine hospitality and great food, you've found your spot at River's Edge. Just save me a seat at the bar!

Yelp
As far as breweries go, the drink selection was ok. Everything else felt basic. No different than any other standard restaurant. But I think $14 for a BLT is egregious. The "premium" pricing for everything absolutely did not match the experience I had. We also had an extra entree item thrown on our bill that we didn't order. There are better places to visit.

Yelp
We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were not greeted, and the only staff member present was the bartender. Not sure what to do... my fiancé went to the bar to ask for a menu and was met with an attitude. The bartender curtly informed us that the only menu available was online. We decided to sit at the bar, where there were some serving trays in front of my seat. When my fiancé moved them aside to make room, the bartender rudely snapped, "I'll take care of those, sir." The lack of basic courtesy and the unwelcoming atmosphere made for a terrible experience. We won't be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone looking for friendly service and a pleasant dining experience. We left and had a wonderful time at Charlie's on Main, excellent food.

Yelp
My wife and I recently dined here as part of a dinner and a movie event. I was extremely disappointed right off the bat when I found out they don't serve ice tea or fountain drinks. They didn't even have ice for the water they served me. Service was extremely slow and I had to ask repeatedly for a refill of my water. My salad came out with the wrong dressing and when I asked for whar I ordered, the server said she would have to check to see if they had anything else. The food was all pre-ordered so this should not have been a problem. Overall the other couple that was with us will not being coming back here ever. What restaurant doesn't have fountain drinks or even ice???

Yelp
Legit hidden gem. The beers are unique as well as delicious. And the beers are SO good. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
Nothing better in the summer than beer on a patio. We enjoyed the Citrus Staycation & Oaxaca Stout (stout is really special!) Both beers were fantastic & we even took the stout to go.

Yelp
Warm and rustic setting for this brewing company. It's of course right along the river in Milford and has indoor and outdoor seating. Great selection of beers and food for all palates. Had a "box" with meat cheese, crackers, nuts and something sweet. A nice filler with our beer. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
Stopped in here for the first time after a trip to Kensington Park. Nice patio area, nice staff, a lot of beer to choose from on the menu. I enjoyed my Pretzel Board. The pretzel came out soft, warm, and salty, and the two mustards were tasty. The sausage slices and cheese cubes were also a nice touch, but I expected the cheese to be a dip for some reason. My friend enjoyed her Brianna's Little Monster sandwich but the jalapeno slices in it made it too spicy, so she ended up picking the sandwich apart. Be warned: it's really spicy with lots of whole jalapeno slices throughout. My peach sangria was refreshing and had very nice flavor -- not overly boozy or syrupy. I'd return again if I were in the area...especially curious about the rest of their beers and sausage variety.

Yelp
While I'm not a beer person, I certainly appreciate a great brewery! Thus location is on the edge of downtown and is open and inviting. The ma go hard cider on draft was lovely. Light, refreshing and a great alternative to beer!

Andrew B.

Yelp
The beer was alright. Unfortunately these things called French fries, known for a moment as freedom fries, but they are now French fries again are supposed to be served hot. When they come to the table cold and you ask for a hot batch, you'd thing someone would verify after the first screwup that they were in fact hot but no, another batch of barely warm fries. Terrible service recovery, a $7 credit on 4 meals that had inedible fries doesn't quite do it. Please do better... either stop selling fries or learn how to do it right.

Brad S.

Yelp
Excellent beer and food!! A must go too in Milford!!! The staff is also so genuine and kind. We had a great time here!

Yelp
Had never been to Milford and were looking to strike out on the Huron River for the afternoon. Lucky for us, River's Edge was doing take out during the Covid19 pandemic. We dropped our canoe about a mile up river, put in our order, and it (and we) were on time for riverside carry out. Paddled a little further and enjoyed our food and beer on the water during the first really nice weekend of the spring. Beer was solid. Will try another one (has the white IPA) next time we are there l. Food was solid too. The Cuban Missile wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it was damn good. Basically a local Michigan version of an old favorite. Adding this place to the list for post-pandemic visits!

Yelp
Always great craft brews available because they are brewed on site. They have guest food companies come in to provide the food and it's really good. The night I ate there Cooper's Dish was there serving up Tennessee cookin'. I had their pulled pork sandwich, Mac-n-cheese, and cornbread. All was excellent. River's Edge rotates guest foods and their beers so it's always an adventure when you go there.

Yelp
Happy to support local businesses during COVID. Visited the brewery for the first time and didn't realize that you needed to call ahead to make reservations. They were accommodating and were able to get us a table on a Saturday night about an hour before closing. The waitress was super friendly and let us know to order before 9pm if we wanted food. My husband and I both had wraps, which were more like panini style pressed with a crispy bread. Very decent portion size and chips for the price. We were impressed by the beers. Can't wait to return to try more food and different beers!

Yelp
River's Edge is one of our go-to spots for after work drinks in Milford! They have a great selection of beers, and the beer menus/ descriptions are hilarious. They also offer a good amount of complementary food, and a solid selection of sausages/ platters if that's your thing. The service is quick, and they have adequate seating for big groups too. Keto/ Low Carb folks: River's Edge is not exactly keto friendly. Pretty much all of the beers are high carb, and they don't serve any hard alcohol for mixed drinks. Because of the hipster nature of River's Edge, they don't serve conventional soft drinks, so Diet Coke isn't an option either. They do offer a handful of wine options, but if you're not big on wine like me, you might be left drinking water. :(

Patrick S.

Yelp
Solid beer. I liked the "miles away" Cold "Nashville hot" (not) chicken sandwich that was cold with no flavor, bun cold too, served with what looked like skim milk, tasted like water. for $14 with no fries!. Would go back for the beer and the beer only

Yelp
This review doesn't really pertain to the food or drinks, because.... we couldn't even get that far. We wanted to go out to dinner yesterday as a family - myself, husband and two kids (4.5 & 2). Our normal place has been Milford House because the food was good, beer was cold and the arcade was tons of fun! We tried to go to Milford House and the doors were shut for a remodel of sorts. So, we decided to try someplace new and our first thought was River's Edge. We pull up and prepare to walk inside. Immediately, my husband notices an odd sign out front to "parents" that basically says your kids need to be still and quiet, or they get kicked out. Weird..... but, okay? So, we walk in and immediately see 3 female servers/bartenders. They look at us and don't say anything. We stand there, waiting patiently, assuming someone will greet us in a moment. Then we realize they're just standing there chatting amongst themselves. Feeling really awkward and slightly annoyed at this point, I walk to the bar where the three of them are standing and ask if we seat ourselves. They say, "yes, absolutely!", then I ask about a high chair and they point to me where they are and then carry on with their conversation. I grab one and we move outside where we felt we wouldn't disturb the place, I guess. Server comes out and asks what she can get us. No greeting.. no introduction. I ask her if they have an additional beer menu, as in more beers than what was listed on what looked to be a "specials" menu. She again just seemed inconvenienced by my request and hands me another menu of the exact same type. So, I explain to her the miscommunication and also that we haven't ever been to this restaurant before, so we aren't aware of all their details. Shit. So, she kind of seems to act like a decent person after this, but we asked for a moment to review the menu. The menu had absolutely nothing to offer us for food, so we ultimately left. I really could not believe the lousy treatment from the second we walked up to the place. How is a place like this still in business? You need to greet people when they walk in the door. Direct them where to sit or suggest they seat themselves but do NOT just ignore a family standing in the doorway while you're 10 feet away and talking amongst yourselves. This was awkward and just unkind. Bring waters to the table, greet the guests and introduce yourself. Ask if we have ever been to the establishment before! We would have said no and you could have explained the basic concept of the place and the menus. That would have saved us all confusion and misunderstanding. We went to Main Street Grill and we were immediately greeted with kindness and hospitality. I've been in this industry before, my husband and I both. We have both managed restaurants in the Royal Oak area that have outlasted many others, ten times over. We understand hospitality and we also understand lousy staff. This was 1,000% a case of lousy staff and honestly, lousy people.

Siera G.

Yelp
Cold Fries, Salad that sat under the heat lamp, burnt food....just come to drink. Some of the worst food I've had in quite awhile.

Ken B.

Yelp
This place is a great chill atmosphere with some really good Beers. Servers/service was awesome and pleasant (especially Jase B.). He took great care of us.

Jason K.

Yelp
Stopped in with a party of 10 for lunch and could not have been happier with our experience. Our server was extremely friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. She had our drinks out immediately and food not much later. The corned beef sandwich and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches were amazing. Other orders were Chicken BLT pizza, REBC Burger, BLT, and a brat burger. If the food didn't all get devoured it was brought home to enjoy later as the portions were quite filling. I also tried the Oktoberfest beer and Zwickel-Dee-Do-Dah beers, enjoyed those as well. We just happened to be in the area and thought the menu looked good, after stopping in and having such a great experience I look forward to going back and trying something new!

Yelp
Got take out lunch from here after kayaking. Our food was ready quickly and the staff was very helpful over the phone. It was relatively inexpensive and is in a great location right off the river. I got the bratwurst and it was okay. I loved the slaw that it came with. But otherwise it was average I'd say. The Cuban sandwich was delicious. We loved the pickles on the side as well. My friend enjoyed his ranch wrap. The portions were generous as well. the food was average overall.

Yelp
Sigh. I've been here. Lots. And most of the time its been fine. Tonight? Potentially the worst I've ever seen at any place in any town in any country. I have one requirement - just one. No Mayo. And I understand, mistakes happen. So I know every once in awhile it occurs and I have to send something back. Its not intentional. Tonight: Sit down. Order beer. Order food. Get beer. Wait. and Wait. and wait. and wait. Apparently our tab fell down a crack or something. No worries it happens. When my sandwich arrives? Of course it has mayo. Our server was equally miffed as after about an hour a mayo laden sandwich, the one thing I don't touch, appears. So hey - its only been an hour. Lets remake, a sandwich. And what does it have on it. Mayo. I get it mistakes happen. But after being here upwards of 30-35 times over a year. I'm guessing I'm the problem and my patronage isn't desired. Not sure where to send in my mug club card but honestly... this was bad. really really bad.

James T.

Yelp
We rode 20 Miles on our bikes then sat out and asked for a few waters before ordering food and beer. The waitress refused to bring us water. Said you have to go in and get it yourself from a plastic cooler. This is not on the waitress. She must have been told to say that from a manager or owner. Just so wrong and weird. Food is O K here the beer can be good from time to time.
google avatar

Matthew T.

Yelp
This is my fourth trip to River's Edge. Every time the service has been great. I wasn't overly impressed by the beers the first two visits which were over a year ago. The last two visits have produced the same great service and the beers are now excellent too! There's been some changes in the brewery and the end product really shows it. Lots of different styles and collaborations with other brewers, which is a sign of a great brewery. The food has also ramped up and is really good. The atmosphere is cool with places to plug in a laptop and get some work done if you need it. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I love this place. By far my favorite brewery around! Beer is awesome food is awesome.

Yelp
A great addition to the city of Milford, it's nice to have something that's not another bar or restaurant. The vibe of Rivers Edge is different, almost like a northern michigan brewery. Frequent live music and a large selection of beer, mostly made in house, it's a great destination with friends. A variety of seating options such as high tops, long tables and even couches. Perhaps my favorite part is that they have different games, especially UNO, to play at the table. Prices vary a lot here, depending on if the beer is in house or external, and the size/ alcoholic content of the beer. The higher the content, the higher the price. Some beers come in several sizes which start at about 5 ounces and go up from there, increasing by a dollar or two each time. There is no liquor here, but they do have a cider. I believe it's from northville and comes in Raspberry and Apple flavor, and the apple is definitely better! Check it out with friends or family, definitely not a destination for food, but a great place to enjoy a drink (or two) and perhaps catch some live music.
google avatar

Sri T.

Yelp
Spencer was our host and he was extremely accommodating. Got us samples for almost everything we asked. Also gave us tips on Kayaking down the river and where to park for savoring a beer. Beer menu is PHENOMENAL! We had Nachos and they were great. Overall, a beautiful cozy place.

Yelp
I don't understand the poor reviews so had to chime in with some sense! This is a welcome addition to the Milford dining/bar scene. I have been there several times now since it's opened and my husband is a member of the mug club. The waitstaff goes out of their way to know and remember your name. The beer is fantastic. (My personal favorite is the Golden Ticket.) They change frequently since they're moving so much beer due to high demand (a great problem to have and evidence of the quality!) They do have a small menu that consists of sandwiches - delicious sandwiches. The bread is sourced from Crust in Fenton, the meat from the butcher shop and other bits from local farmers markets. The Ryan's Gift to the World sandwich is one of the best I've ever had and I highly recommend. Each sandwich comes with a bag of Better Made chips & a McClures pickle. Simple and SMART. The focus here is the beer - but - having a nice sandwich to eat if you want to go for dinner is a great option. They also have warm pretzels & cheese dip (also great) and popcorn. In sum, you should not hesitate to visit, drink & eat. It's so great to have a high quality brewery and operation in Milford!

Yelp
Cleanest tap lines around (that means a-lot if you like the taste of good clean beer and cider). Owners and staff are amazing. Inside and outside options year round.

Yelp
Visited here on a Sunday early evening about two weeks ago, visiting the area. Although they do serve food, not on this Sunday evening as they had missing staff. However, as soon as we sat at the bar, the sweet gal warned us that there was no food and since we were there, decided to have at least one beer. We were not disappointed. VERY good brews. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back. It was great that she told us kindly up front that there was no food. I still give it five stars.

S K.

Yelp
Wow! Never have I ever had such worse service. Decided to have a work gathering of 14 people meet at the restaurant. About 2 hours in, a few members of our party started to play darts. Apparently, a bartender named Rudy didn't like how one member was playing because he threw the dart over the head of another member of our party. Instead of properly approaching the situation, the staff decided that that member must be drunk and shouldn't be served any longer but failed to tell any of us (at this point he had 4 drinks in 3 hours...he wasn't drunk). We were then ignored for the next hour while the waitress hit every table beside ours. We finally asked for the owner. We were then approached (not by the owner) and said we had to leave because a member of our party bought a drink for the person who they cut off. In my entire lifetime, I have never not left a tip until tonight. Despite the fact that I have been to River's Edge many many times previously, I don't think I can ever return.

Yelp
I wrote a 1 star review a while back after the brewery went through many changes including losing their award winning brewmaster. I deleted the review after going back recently to give it another chance. This place has always been my favorite bar in Milford and it was killing me not to go. The beer is much improved. Recently they made a change to not allow kids to sit at the bar, and 21 and up after 9pm. I cannot applaud this enough. I believe this is the first bar in Milford to do this, but it needed to be done. Kids and bad parents were ruining this place - much like many other bars in the area. Hats off to you River's Edge. I'll be back again. Cheers!
google avatar

Randy L.

Yelp
pros: good beer, good food. the waitstaff is great, particularly Rudy and Emily! Plus, you can literally get there on canoe. Love the old books they use to give you your check, and they have shuffleboard! cons: can be hard to find seating as it's a happening spot!

Yelp
Great service, great beer, great nachos (if a bit spicy), great location in downtown Milford. I hate soggy nachos and both my and my son's orders were toasted to perfection. Will be definitely coming back.

Kevin H.

Yelp
If you're looking for the worst service in town, come here. The servers act as if you're bothering them and they are anything but friendly. And I get that they don't know how much beer to make but every time I've come here they always seem to be out of something listed on their beer menu. My guess is that if they had better service, more people would show up which means they'd know how much beer to make.

Mark S.

Yelp
Beer is solid and the atmosphere is great. Food is mostly simple sandwiches, which I love at a brewery, but they're also starting to get more adventurous in their specials. Best spot to go in Milford!
google avatar

Erika R.

Yelp
The ambiance is great. The raspberry cider I had was amazing. The servers are super friendly and helpful. As a non-beer enthusiast I was a bit intimidated to go into this establishment but I am glad I did. I'll be sure to go more in the future. Especially when they have events that support other local business! YAYE! Go River's Edge brewery!

Yelp
This is a really cool brewery! I'm trying to learn beers that I enjoy drinking and this is a good way to do it. I liked every beer that I sampled. Reasonable prices too! Really enjoyed the food as well. They offered a vegan sausage roll that was absolutely amazing, Yes - Vegan! The veggie burger on the menu also came with vegan mayo. Lots of healthy options here. I'd knock off 1/2 a star only due to bad service...very slow and it wasn't busy inside. Otherwise really enjoyable experience and I will for sure go back! Please keep the vegan items on the menu! As someone who tries to eat mostly plant based, this is so awesome to see! :)

Yelp
One of the rare moments we walk away from a brewery saying, "I really enjoyed every beer I tried". And. Try the sausage platter - so good.

Yelp
Fun and clean place with a relaxed vibe. The beer is usually pretty good and the food is alright. The product doesn't blow me away, but the staff was great and it's definitely worth going there to experience.

Yelp
Updated review! Had a great Valentine's Day evening here. Picked it because I called and they said they didn't plan on being very busy so I drove on in. Service was amazing, beer was on point, and the sandwich I had involved Kimchee and I was in heaven! The only downside to the night was that my wife beat me at Skipbo... Haha

Yelp
Smaller brewery with great beer selection. They brew everything in house and typically have 10+ beers on tap to choose from. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food menu is sandwiches only but they are out of this world. They have live music several times each month. This is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a good beer!

Yelp
A stone's throw from Downtown Milford's Central Park and on the banks of the Huron River, you will find River's Edge Brewing Co. This is a brewery that was founded by three local families that grew up together and over their combined love for one another and good beer, they decided to go into business and build a hometown brewery. Their passion for beer and friendship is apparent when you walk in... so come to River's Edge ready to taste their craft beer and be surrounded by happy people. The menu is small, including snacks, sandwiches and most importantly booze. You can get a 16 oz. draft beer for $5. Their snacks range from $1 for popcorn or pretzel rods to $7.50 for a medley of asparagus, bacon, walnuts and apples. I personally recommend trying the Bavarian pretzel with mustard for $3 and adding the Pimento cheese dip for $2... totally awesome. Their sandwiches are almost all $8 and they have something for everyone. They keep it Michigan-made and serve them with a McClure's pickle and a bag of Better Made Potato Chips. River's Edge Brewing Co. is a true brewery. You can seat yourself inside at one of their cozy tables or outside on the patio, fulfill your competitive side with some darts or shuffle board, sit back and appreciate the art of brewing or simply just mingle with good people for hours. The owners pride themselves in being a "place where friends and the community can gather to share a fresh Pint and get to know each other a little better"... no better vibe than that!

Yelp
Fantastic location, right next to the river and the railroad tracks! Incredible staff! Awesome female brewmaster! Great sandwiches! To be a brew club member, it's only $65 and you get 20% off all drinks and merchandise... And you get in invited to really cool, free, members-only tastings like tonight!
