I live so close to this park, walk it daily with my dogs and love to see the amount of people exercising and using it. It’s large enough to really enjoy in a variety of ways. A favorite spot to walk when the sun is coming up or going down.

One of the best things about grand rapids. This park is always meticulously maintained and stretches along the grand River for miles. There are parts of this park I could and have spent hours relaxing. Great place to hang a hammock, and they also have an excellent 18-hole disc golf course.

Spent all day fishing and walking around this park with lots to do . Be it running jogging riding bike or fishing are spending time with your family this place offers a lot to do. I have read others comments saying that the Frisbee golf course is closed for the Year this is not true I've watched multiple people playing frisbee golf all day long. So how could this be the discourse is closed when multiple people are playing up until the sun going down. This is a nice park. Dog friendly

Great park, and fairly big. The White Pine Trail leads right through Riverside, so if you’re a cyclist it’s a lovely shaded portion of the trail (it continues all the way north to Cadillac!).

It's an absolutely beautiful trail. The Grand River runs so close, and there are beautiful little streams throughout the wooded trail. It's paved if that's what you prefer or several organic trails that run close to the paved trail.

This is such a nice park. Wide open spaces, beautiful view of the river, and a fun little playground for kids. Easy access and parking. Great for a walk any time of day. Best in fall with the beautiful changing of leaves.

#Food truck Fridays. If you build it they will come.... absolutely amazing weather and the same thing needs to be said about the event. First time here and it won't be the last!!

Yelp
Riverside Park is great for bike riding picnics - dog walking playing with the kids-disc golf and just sitting and relaxing - It is not that far from where I live - lots of old trees paths for biking running an old covered bridge and lots of ducks to feed. I would like to add about me -I could not find that:I teach/train/rehabilitate abused rescued dogs using behavior psychology which is the 31 Credits beyond my Masters Degree - I use psychology with the dogs and lots of love. I have also taught over 1000 kids music in 3 elementary blgs.-There is a lot more - not enough room - I am a lot of fun - truthful - speak my mind. Robin D.

Yelp
If you are looking for a conveniently located park walking distance from downtown, I would recommend Riverside Park. This is a nice little park to walk around. They have a play gym where little kids can play around. There are little ponds that surround the paved pathway where geese and ducks flock around. The pavement was nice - no complaints! There were also cute cute bridges you would walk over. I went on a Thursday early afternoon in the winter and there weren't many people walk around it. There are many trees outlining alongside the paved pathway, so I can only imagine how beautiful this park is during early fall and spring! I enjoyed the river alongside the pathway as well. Cute park to take your kids and of dogs, go running, or just for a nice walk!

Yelp
The city of Grand Rapids is home to many parks, and Riverside Park is one of the more popular spots. The park itself is large, totaling around 64 acres. It has lots of great walking and biking pathways along the river, which makes this park a scenic stop right in the city. The disc golf course is super long, letting you get some steps in while enjoying this fun game. Parts of this park can become heavily flooded in the spring, so be aware. Lots of events take place at Riverside Park, including corgis in the park, food truck Fridays in the summer, and other celebrations and concerts. Parking lots are available and you can also park on the street outside of the park. There's lots of open space to lounge here, so pack a picnic, bring your hammock, and enjoy this beautiful park with family and friends.

Yelp
Had another pandemic outing with my son today. We have been checking out the local parks on our days together. We really liked this park because of all of fowl that live around there. Lots of geese and ducks to look at. The playground is definitely geared towards young children which was perfect for us! Loved our time there!

Yelp
I enjoy walking my dog through here, biking through here and jogging through here. It has a great view of the river, nice landscaping and clean. They have lots of picnic tables to eat or leisure at, as well as benches scattered about. I would say the picnic tables could use some upgrading but when they live outside I am sure it is hard to keep up. My only thing I found weird about this is that I didn't find any water fountains. My dog got really hot on a walk the other day and I was hoping they would have water options but I didn't come across any during my stretch of the park.

Yelp
This is a beautiful park with so many great photo opportunities. We actually saw 3 couples taking their wedding photos while we were there. You can fish at several locations. Great bike trails. The lake with city views is kinda amazing because you get the best of both worlds. So many locations to sit walk, run and be leisure around the park. Plenty of parking and great areas to have a party or just relax

Yelp
I hate to admit that I've never visited Riverside Park before last Saturday. I had attended another event nearby and it was such a beautiful day that I decided to pull into the park and get a walk in. What a nice experience! The blacktop path is close enough to the water to enjoy it. The park was very clean and mowed. It was a healthy and delightful way to spend some time and I'll do it again!

Yelp
Home sweet home. Having played this course hundreds of times, it brought me into the game of Disc Golf & lead me to play all across the US. A classic 18 hole course offering a variety of hyzer & anyhzer shots around trees and over the water, this course is an excellent course to bring your whole bag and sharpen your skills. There won't be any championships held here, nor will you see anything over a par 3, but you will get a great round of disc golf. The course winds around a lake (with a few shots over it) & has some nice mature trees that come into play. All holes are reachable if you can hit ~380 feet. A great round here will be around 9-10 under, though don't be surprised to finish around even par if you don't have it all together. Be sure to capitalize on the practice area in between the parking lot & the 1st tee.

Yelp
nice course with a decent layout. a couple really tough water holes. Problems with the course and why i dont like playing there: 1. GOOSE POOP EVERYWHERE 2. Its a really busy park and sometimes families who dont know better like to have a picnic in the fairways. 3. Seems like most the people here dont know what disc golf is and ive had people pick up my drives and start walking away. The Goods: 1. challenging course without being impossible for new players 2. Its the only course on the North side of town 3. even with all the negatives, its still disc golf and disc golf is a ton of fun!!

Drew C.

Yelp
Great open space with a bike trail and disk golf. Place is typically flooded out in the early spring and late fall and if you throw your disc in the water, its pretty grose in there. But, a free disc golf course is never a bad time.
