A very charming, though not cheap, store with a cozy country vibe. As far as I understand, this grocery store is mostly visited by residents of nearby apartments — likely from upscale housing complexes — since I didn’t find any other good grocery stores in the immediate area.
Right at the entrance, there’s a wonderfully cozy shelf and display with a small selection of kitchenware, magazines, cookbooks, and a beautifully fragrant bunch of real lavender.
The shelves are full of organic products. Even the pads and tampons are cotton-based Rael, which are hard to find in most stores—certainly in West Philly — so I usually have to order them from Amazon. They also carry interesting mayo, mustard, lots of spices, grains, and more.
The restroom is freely accessible and clean inside, with stylish dark green decor and a pleasant, subtle fragrance.
