As a complete newbie to raw and Japanese denim, I was a little nervous when entering Rivet & Hide for the first time. But I was instantly at ease when Tommy warmly greeted me from the desk as I entered. Tommy is extremely knowledgeable about denim. He showed me a variety of different brands while explaining the raw denim essentials in an easy-to-understand way. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and he went to the back room several times for clothing that I could try on. After trying a few different brands, weights and styles - I settled on a gorgeous set of Studio D'artisan "45th Anniversary" jeans and jacket. I didn't know my waist or leg length sizes, so I was appreciative that Tommy easily found my perfect fit for each piece. Tommy explained the complementary hemming service, so I was happy to leave after paying and explored London while my jeans were hemmed. Only a couple of hours later I got the call from Rivet & Hide that my set was ready to be collected. Overall, a fantastic first raw denim experience in one of the best-looking shops I've ever seen. Huge thanks to Tommy for his service, it could not have been of any higher quality. I can't wait to come back to look at some boots and shirts!

Rivet and hide has to be the best shop in the UK for quality denim and apparel. I ended up buying a pair of samurai jeans and a Rogue territory wax jacket. The service was first class and my jeans were hemmed while I waited in the shop. I think the guy who served me was Edwin?. He's a top bloke and supplied me with complementary rivet and hide pale ale as I waited for the hemming. I honestly have never received better service whilst buying clothes. Edwin and the dudes who hemmed my jeans are a credit to a fantastic company which has the best selection of Japanese denim in the UK. Many thanks, Ryan

Rivet & Hide near Burlington is a true gem for denim and leather enthusiasts. I’ve purchased several items from them online including Iron Heart jeans, Simmons Bilt x Iron Heart leather jackets, Flat Head wallets, and more, but finally visiting in person was a great experience. The store has a spacious, upmarket feel with a thoughtfully curated selection of premium brands. On a hot summer’s day, the staff were exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. They offered helpful sizing advice, were happy to let me browse and try on different pieces, and even looked into sourcing out-of-season items I was interested in. They also took care of my shopping bags and offered refreshments, making the visit feel personal and relaxed. The quality of the products and the level of service easily justify the prices. If you appreciate well made goods and genuine customer care, well worth a visit.

Recently ordered a pair of samurai 710 online, beautiful jeans fit perfectly. The service at rivet and hide was fantastic for my first time, loads of information on the website that helped me chose my size, and still received an email to confirm my choice. Came quickly (free dhl express), was a great first time experience, can’t fault it.

Stopped at this store a couple years ago and I’ve been looking forward to ordering from them. I Couldn’t be happier with a Pure Blue Japan jeans that I went with. Fantastic product looking forward to wearing them for years to come. Importantly, the websites sizing chart was bang on for the product that was delivered. This gives you confidence in ordering an item at this price point. Shipping was extremely fast. The order was sent out within days even during the holiday season, that was much appreciate.

Absolutely amazing performance by the entire staff! They have gone way above the bar to satisfy a simple jacket purchase! I was concerned about sizing (as most should with Japanese sizing for a westerner) and they did everything in their power to hit every mark so there wouldn’t be an exchange scenario. I live in the United States and Rivet & Hide made me feel perfectly comfortable without even trying it on. I cannot recommend their example of service to others, enough. I have dealt with at least 12 different online retailers here in the states, buying high-end Japanese clothing, and there has only been one store that could even try to compare. Unlike Rivet and Hide, those other stores failed at clear and friendly communication. I’m not poor, and I’m not rich, but anytime someone is spending three times the average price for an item, you would think that they would raise their service to meet the quality of the items they sell. Clearly, not here in the states. We are struggling, morally, as a nation, right now. Hopefully we can right the ship and match what others are doing and how they treat each other. Take care. Just visited this store with the intention of buying a quality pair of Japanese jeans. Upon walking into the store was greeted warmly by a gentleman called Alex. I explained to him what I was after and my requirements, while fumbling on my phone. He was very patient and had a relaxed demeanour. He kindly gave myself and my lady a glass of water. After trying a few pairs of jeans, I was happy and he gave us his honest opinion which we appreciated. Upon purchase he explained the after sales and what I should expect moving forward. I will be back to this store because of gents such as Alex. He got me perfect jeans and I can not wait to break them in! Thank you and see you soon!

Have been purchasing goodart stuffs from R&H online store for awhile now and they are one of the most professional and helpful people around, through the multiple email communications we had. Always prompt in replies and offering valuable advices on the sizing etc. Finally had the chance to visit London and this is one of my must go location. Needless to say, i had an amazing experience shopping for a denim there and i knew i had to get one, to support their new store opening and of cause getting a new denim for myself :). Thank you R&H.
