Our dinner at the Riviera Supper Club and Scratch Kitchen was a delightful experience. I had the salmon with vegetables, and the flavors were beautifully developed—the seasoning was spot-on, and the cook on the fish was perfect. The portion was quite generous. I also tried their navy bean soup, which was rich and flavorful, though a bit heavy on the bacon. The wait staff were highly attentive, adding to the positive experience. I appreciated the option of filtered or sparkling water as a thoughtful touch. My husband had the prime rib sandwich, which he found tasty, though the prime rib itself was overcooked. While not everything on the menu is scratch-made, the items that are truly shine. The atmosphere, however, could use a refresh, as its character feels a bit underwhelming. A solid choice for quality dishes, with some room for improvement on decor and atmosphere.

We loved this place last time we came to Glenwood and loved it again this time. The garlic shrimp was amazing!!!! My husband also loved his prime rib. All of the staff that helped us were awesome as well.

The food was great. The receptionist was so nice and helpful. The waitress is very good and looks like she really loves her job. Her smile brightens everyone. She's very friendly to her customers. That night there was a baby who is crying and shouting but other than that it was a nice experience.

Went to the Riviera Supper Club with numerous tourist sites, and social media recommendations, as it was our first time in Glenwood for more than a single day trip. My significant other wanted to surprise me (very sweet). We had a reservation for 19:30, arrived and checked in at host stand at 19:19, were told to give them 15-20 minutes to catch-up and if we would take a walk around the block. We did just that, came back at 19:37. We were seated within 5 minutes of returning. We then proceeded to wait 16 minutes before our server came to take our “drink” order, we ordered everything then. We requested an appetizer of truffle fries, which we didn’t receive (it wasn’t on the bill either)-thankfully. We waited about 25 mins for our meals, I got the stroganoff and my significant other got prime rib. Our meals arrived. The stroganoff was very good, very rich sauce, good flavor profile. The home-made garlic bread was delicious! However, my significant other’s prime rib was underdone to how it was requested to be made. Approximately 65% of it was fat, the other 35% was the meat. The mashed potatoes served with primed rib were very good, according to him! So kudos for the potatoes! My significant other preferred my dish to theirs, which is disheartening. I let my significant other finished my plate, as I was full & satisfied. Our server only checked in on us as we finished our meal, which I understand as it was a busy Friday evening, but it fell short. The bill came and for the lack luster ambience, delayed seating, delayed yet minimal service , it felt overpriced for what you’d call an average meal.

Google
Excellent restaurant in Glenwood Springs with a really unique menu! They also have a fabulous mocktail menu, in addition to a wide selection of beer, wine, and other cocktails. We enjoyed a smorgasbord! We ordered the roasted garlic appetizer, salads, the salmon entree, the duck entree, and creme brulee for dessert! That's probably the best meal I've had in a while! Wonderful service, great atmosphere, and the food was incredible!! I highly recommend!

Google
What a lovely place. From the host, to the service, to everyone on staff. Friendly, attentive, and with a smile. My husband and I decided to have our anniversary dinner here after a day in Glenwood. He had the prime rib sandwich, it was tender and delectable. I opted for the Wellington, which was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and seasoned to perfection. Everything was scratch and it showed. The atmosphere was also pleasant. We felt like we slipped back into our European travels. We look forward to returning!

Absolutely first class food, served with real style and genuine warmth. We tried the beef Wellington, the prime rib and the King Prawn pasta and all were superb. To make it even better, Wine Wednesday is half off wine including flights. Strong recommend!

Yelp
I had dinner with a couple friends here last nite and the place was wonderful! Service, food and atmosphere all on point for a great dinner. Our server was also able to make sure my food was Celiac Safe! Wow, Great looking out :) Thanks so much for great food and a great memory! I will def return!

Yelp
Happy Thanksgiving from Glenwood Springs. We had reservations for noon Thanksgiving dinner and was looking forward to it. We were seated immediately (the 3rd table seated for that noon time frame) and placed drink orders while reviewing the menu. For starters you had the choice of soup or salad. Husband got the tomato soup and I got roasted butternut squash. Both were excellent. The tomato was rich and creamy; I said it was smooth. Butternut squash was silky and the roasted scallions with the balsamic reduction added so much to the soup. We ordered a small salad to share which was an extra charge but worth it. The drinks were excellent as well. I had a glass of Dr L Riesling and husband had a French 75. Both were excellent I ordered the traditional turkey dinner which came with potatoes and gravy, stuffing/dressing, homemade green bean casserole and corn muffin. Husband ordered the prime rib with all the same sides. Now here is where things go downhill. We were the 3rd table seated and the next to the last served in the dining room. We watched plate after plate go to other tables that came in way after us. Keep in mind there were 3 choices for the entree and we pre ordered that! Finally after 3 different wait staff said they would check on our dinner we got our plates 35 minutes later. Turkey and potatoes were good and the house made cranberry sauce was great. The dressing/stuffing felt like paste in my mouth. Just chunks of bread with minimal seasoning and it was cold. The green bean casserole was unrecognizable. It was heavy on the beef flavor and just kinda clumped on the plate. Husbands prime rib was a nice portion but it lacked flavor. Dessert was either pumpkin or cherry pie and we had one of each. The pie crust on the pumpkin so very tough and no flavor. While the restaurant itself has a nice vibe inside- the bar is separate from the main eating area and sound wise you can have a conversation during dinner and hear each other. Would I go back? Not sure. I loved how the meal started but the main course was disappointing

Yelp
Food so-so Service mediocre Ambiance OK No idea why this place is so highly rated on TripAdvisor! All the other places we tried in Glenwood Springs were so much more satisfying.

Yelp
What an awesome restaurant. Do you ever make dinner an experience? Those are my favorite kinds of meals and Riviera was definitely an experience to remember. A client lives in the area and recommended that we try Riviera. Last time we were in town it was on the list but we went elsewhere. This time we struck gold. We didn't have reservations so we awaited our table at the bar. It was an excellent people-watching and meeting experience and the drinks were plentiful and well made. Once at the table, we were treated to an excellent serving and dining experience. Dinner with friends who appreciate good food and company is always enjoyable. A few cocktails and bottles of wine make it even more enjoyable. But that is only part of it. The roasted garlic and brussels sprouts appetizers were stellar. That garlic was so delicious that I could have eaten it for my meal. I wanted the actual prime rib but they were out because we waited so long to order and had consumed so many bottles of wine. Their next best recommendation was the shaved prime rib sandwich. Hell yes! Maybe it was all the wine or maybe it was just that good but I devoured that sandwich. The side of fries was a perfect accompaniment. Make sure and ask for that addition. Note: I do not remember when we went but I just found my receipt. It was some special half-off wine day. Whatever you do, go that day. It will be worth it. This place is great. Make it a full night and it will be one to remember for a long time.

Yelp
We went Saturday night for our anniversary and I have to say I was a little disappointed, especially for the price. The staff just felt very chaotic and we felt forgotten about as a table. It took way longer than it should have to get our first round of drinks. We ordered the beef Wellington knowing there would be a wait - which was fine. We also ordered the salmon. Both to split. We're huge beef Wellington fans and have been to Hell's Kitchen in Vegas where Gordon Ramsay's Wellington js out of this world. This one fell super flat. I'm not sure what type of meat was used but it didn't slice like butter like I thought it should. The way they cut the puff pastry was also strange. They sliced the Wellington in half - fine. But there was a cut in the pastry (probably prior to baking) which just caused it all to fall off when you would cut a bite.. it was a mess to eat. I did enjoy the veggies and mashed potatoes. The salmon was good, the carrot purée was really the star though. The dish was lacking something.

Yelp
I spent the weekend near Glenwood with my mom. I treated her to a get away and wanted to take her to a really good restaurant. Riviera Scratch kitchen did NOT disappoint! We started with the burrata and the sweet and spicy brussel sprouts. My oh my!! They call this place scratch kitchen, because they literally make most everything from scratch. That which they cannot make they locally source. It's a great concept! The burrata was so perfectly creamy and the roasted red pepper pesto paired so well with the pine nuts - truly a match made in heaven! The sprouts were amazingly crispy and flavorful and the housemade BBQ - let's just say we wanted to drink it! We shared the beet salad. I wanted to try the beef wellington, however, sadly, they were out. So mom and I both opted for the Five Spice Duck Leg Confit. And Honestly, I'm kind of glad they were out of the wellington. I practically liked the bowl clean. The Tahini and carrot puree was .... SO GOOD!! and the sweet and sour chutney complemented the duck so well! This dish is a solid 5/5 on it's own!! Neither of us "needed" dessert, but we split the peach and blueberry pie - which was excellent as well. Super flaky crust and the filling not too sweet. The perfect ending to a perfect meal! If you are in the area, I highly recommend Riviera Scratch Kitchen - *insert chef's kiss here* Delicioso!!

Yelp
Incredible staff Food good, not as good as 6 months ago. 4% Kitchen Tax beware- pay attention or you will not give a 20% TIP but 24%. Pretty tired of such nonsense. Wake up.

Yelp
A must when visiting Glenwood! Me and 2 others dined on a Friday night. My friend had made the reservation and made them aware that we were celebrating my 40th. The staff was so sweet to help us celebrate and not be over the top with silliness. We had champagne and they served it with a lemon twist, I have never had champagne served this way and it was so refreshing! I had the beef Wellington, so worth the extra time the kitchen needed to prepare it! The other 2 got salmon dishes and they were incredible. We had the bananas foster crème brûlée, it was to die for! That is one of the creamiest custards I have ever had. It was a lovely supper with all the staff being very kind and attentive when necessary. We didn't sit on the bar side but I went and checked it out, looked really fun!

Tressa G.

Yelp
WOW! This place is INCREDIBLE! From the drinks, to the dessert, everything was spot on! We ordered Thai egg rolls, burrata & roasted garlic appetizers (all incredible). We enjoyed the beef Wellington (which was phenomenal) and the banana cream pie was the BEST we've ever had. The quality, presentation and taste were beyond outstanding! Our bartender & waitress gave top notch service! The ambiance was quaint and very pleasant. We are very impressed with this restaurant. We will definitely be back! GREAT job Rivera! 10/10!

Yelp
Nice restaurant. Make a reservation if you can, several people wandering into the patio and thinking it was 'festival seating'. Poor hostess having to explain she had 14 names on the wait list! Outdoor seating as well as indoor. Outdoor chairs could use some love... Nice menu, lots of choices. Decent wine list, friendly and upbeat waiter. Burrata cheese appetizer was good, maybe lacked a little flavor, Prime Rib was spot on excellent. Recent review I read bashing the mashed potatoes was dead wrong, the potatoes were great. Overall, they care about their food and it shows. I'll definitely go back.

Yelp
We come to Glenwood about once a month or every 45 days or so from Denver we have never eaten at this restaurant and I'd love prime rib. I'm so glad I ate here tonight. This prime rib was perfect. The service was perfect. The servers were super friendly the lady at the front, check-in area was super nice! I had prime rib last Thanksgiving and it was horrible. I ended up throwing it away three times.! They are having prime rib there tonight but I'm super glad we came here. Good job.!!

Nick P.

Yelp
Super tasty food. Everything we ate was amazing. The appetizers we chose were burrata and tomato soup. The burrata included some great peppers and the soup was the best tomato soup ever thanks to the goat cheese and cream. The main dishes we tried were the beef wellington, the lasagna, and the duck. All were perfect. The duck is perfectly paired with pistachio rice and fell off the bone. The lasagna included mushrooms that were cooked super well. The beef wellington had a great pastry shell and sides with mashed potatoes. For dessert, we had the banana crème brule and the cherry pie. The banana crème brule was amazing and the texture and flavor went super well together (if you like banana).

Yelp
Not impressed. Hair on my plate. Drink tasted like BBQ briquettes. Waited 30 minutes for a server after reservation. Wanted to like...

Jaimee E.

Yelp
Went here our first night in town and were SUPER impressed. We sat outside so we could enjoy some music under the bridge. The service was great and they were very friendly! We even got a complimentary glass of champagne four our bachelorette party group. They put some lemon rind in the glasses which we had never had, but were very pleasantly surprised by! We did a tasting of all of the appetizers (except the tomato soup) and they were delicious! Great truffle fries and dipping sauce! Wonderful roasted garlic (if only there was more naan with it). Loved the Barrera and the brussel sprouts. Just a lovely evening and place all around.

Bailey S.

Yelp
Wonderful service! We sat at the bar with Bryan and he was phenomenal! Whatever he's being paid, he definitely has earned a raise!! The food was delicious! We ordered the beet salad, the garlic appetizer, tomato soup (I ended up having 2 cups it was so good!), the prime rib sandwich and the beef Wellington!! All were fabulous. The ambiance was great. We would love to come back next time we are visiting!!

Cristi B.

Yelp
Make a reservation- they are busy and they couldn't seat several of the walk ins! We came for our anniversary weekend and were very happy! Food was delicious and beautiful. Their walls had everything they make from scratch - it was a lot! There were several children being loud - was the only downfall.

Devin L.

Yelp
Had the best meal of our trip at this fantastic restaurant.  I had the duck, it was simply amazing.  Kids had some kids meals (standard I believe, and they were content), my wife had something she loved as well.  Have the duck, it was amazing.  I want to go back to this town just to have that meal again.  We sat outside, which we wanted (it was full inside), but they warned us of potential rain.... we lucked out, no rain, and was a perfect evening to dine outside.  Will return.

Jesse B.

Yelp
My wife and I had a great birthday meal at Riviera Supper Club. From the hostess to our server Jessie L the service was impeccable. The food was great. We started with the bone marrow which was very tasty and served with toasted bread, a berry sauce (not quite a jam), some greens, serrano peppers and fried onion strings. The beef stroganoff is an elevated version of a traditional stroganoff. It is so rich and full of delcious beef, mushrooms, onions with their gravy, pickled red onions and garlic bread (didn't eat since there was so much food). My wife had the beef wellington and it was cooked to perfection with the bourbon and molasses sauce, vegetables and mashed potatoes. Yum yum yum. The cherry pie with vanilla ice cream was warm and freshly baked and a symphony of tart and sweet with a great crust. The only thing I did not like was the Chef's Shifty cocktail. It is their version of an old fashioned. The taste was not like any old fashioned I have had and it was just not my jam. Great way to enjoy a meal in Glenwood Springs. Thank you Riviera Supper Club. F Yeah!

Glenda W.

Yelp
This place has an artistic, talented chef. We had the beef wellington and it had so many disparate flavors that blended magically into a balanced whole. That magic is from the talents of the chef! From the perfectly cooked tenderloin to the salt touched puff pastry, the mushroom duxelle (how many different mushrooms were used), the bourbon laced sauce, and vegetables. OMG! Perfection!

Robi E.

Yelp
Traveling from Asheville NC and stopped through Glenwood Springs CO and stumbled upon Riviera Scratch Kitchen. Living in a city that has multiple James Beard award winning restaurants and also traveling and eating at Michelin Star Rated Restaurant the Riviera Scratch Kitchen is easily in this category. The food was outstanding and the service equally matched! A charming restaurant and highly recommend as it is a hidden gem in the Colorado Mountains!!

Isabella F.

Yelp
We made reservation two months ago for my 21st birthday, got there 10 minutes early for 6pm reservation, so excited to try food. Sat down 6:15pm and got drinks by 6:25pm waited until 6:45pm with no food ordered, multiple people walked by seeing us sitting there. Walked out after waitress and manager (?) looked at us without a word and walked away. We got up and left, nobody tried to get us. Huge disappointment. But food might be great, I wouldn't know. Update: Restaurant did call later that night and offer credit to come eat there the next day. I appreciated that gesture, we were unable to take them up on it because we are leaving town. Bummer ):

Alie W.

Yelp
Celebrated our anniversary here. Great food, complimentary bubbles and delicious dessert

Kimberly F.

Yelp
So delicious. So happy we stumbled upon this gem. Right off the river. We stated with craft cocktail, garlic appetizer (the bomb served with a wedge of blue cheese, little salad, grilled tomatoes...so good), and Thai spring rolls. Had a Caesar salad the beef stroganoff. We shared the stroganoff and still had leftovers. No room for dessert, but peach cobbler was tempting though. Excellent service and attention. We sat outside and it was lovely.

Kyle V.

Yelp
Wow, what a fantastic dinner. We made a reservation before we even got to town because of the recommendations we received from others. We started with a bottle of Ghost Pines wine which is always a good choice. For dinner, I went with the Five Spice Duck Leg Confit and it was so delicious. Everything in the dish worked together so perfectly and I couldn't believe all the flavors with each bite. The tahini and carrot purée was fantastic paired with the pistachio rice. The portion was large enough for the price and I was full when I left. You don't get a ton of meat on a duck leg but everything else made up for it. We didn't get dessert but the options we saw at other tables looked great and I'll save room next time. The restaurant is small and offers a clean and inviting atmosphere. It's located right on the main drag of restaurants and there is plenty of parking nearby. Our server was great and she even remembered my copilot from his last layover in town. We will definitely be coming back.

Mary C.

Yelp
traveling today and made a last minute reservation . the service was great as were our meals . I would go there again.

Preston M.

Yelp
Great food great service great atmosphere. Hats off to the chef behind this rustic and hearty restaurant.

Yasmin R.

Yelp
Spectacular everything. The Service, the view, the music, and of course the FOOD. Cannot wait to come back. The beef stroganoff was out of this world.

Thao D.

Yelp
Had a staycation this past weekend with my girlfriends, and we chose this restaurant for our nice dinner out. The ambiance was very romantic with dark lighting. The service was amazing! Our waiter was super attentive and checked up on us multiple times! In terms of the food, everything was delicious! My friends got the duck dish which I tried and it was VERY flavorful (if I ever go back I would opt for that dish). I got the prime rib which was great but the the mushrooms on top were a bit too salty for me. My other friends got the stroganoff which they did not really enjoy the flavor of the dish.

Chanel C.

Yelp
This place was absolutely delicious from the food down to the drinks. It is very popular - so you definitely have to make a reservation. Many people were turned away that tried to walk in. I went with a larger group (8 people) and everything took quite a long time - the whole meal took 2.5 hours - so definitely not the spot if you want a quick bite. One annoying aspect here was that we made a reservation months in advance for my birthday and the party that was at our table before us (and already paid their bills) were sitting at the table for almost 30 minutes when we were all just waiting to sit down. I felt the staff could have been more clear that others needed the table - especially since we drove 1 hour to eat there.

Shawn M.

Yelp
We had reservations for two on a Wednesday night - we were seated after a few minutes of waiting for the hostess. We then sat at our booth for 25 minutes before finally flagging down a waiter to ask if they knew who was supposed to be covering our table. The waiter took our order, didn't write anything down, and then repeated it back incorrectly. Not a huge deal, they were busy and someone else was supposed to be on our table. The drinks arrived 20 minutes later and were incorrect. The waiter brought corrected drinks 10 minutes later. Appetizers came out shortly after - we had the burrata (3/5), roasted garlic (2.5/5), and brussel sprouts (4/5). We then waited another 30 minutes for entrees to come out. We were told at the end of the meal that they are not allowed to bring entrees out until after appetizer plates are removed. Understandable, but a question worth asking. We had the duck confit (4/5) and lasagna (3/5). After finishing our meal and pushing our plates to the edge of the table, we waited another 20 minutes before flagging down another waiter for the check and a small box. After expressing some frustrations with the experience, the waiter comped the entrees and had already comped the incorrect drinks. There are too many good restaurants in the area to give this place another chance. The food was average and the service was bad. We appreciated the waiter explaining that they were short staffed, but if that's the case than we'd rather not be seated. Or at least told that at the beginning of the meal to manage expectations.

Liz M.

Yelp
The food and drinks here were delicious. I enjoyed the seafood pasta special I ordered, and it definitely tasted fresh. I got a lavender lemonade cocktail, and two others. All tasted great. My friend got an orange lavender crème brûlée, which was also delicious. The service was good, and our server was friendly. The place was clean and had a great ambiance. My only frustration was how long it took to get our food and for our server to come around. The whole mean took almost 2.5 hours. I appreciate it's all from scratch, but things could have gone faster.

Jack M.

Yelp
Four of us went to the Riveria a week ago. Two of us had homemade lasagna which was incredible, one had the duck leg confit, again, incredible and one had the prime rib. While prime rib is inherently a wonderful cut, I have grown to not trust it while eating out due to poor preparation. But it was extraordinary. The dinner was preceded by truffle fries and two of us had salads. One a Caesar, one a garden salad, which had a memorable lemon vinaigrette. The service was spot on. My only black mark would be the coffee Creme brûlée. It was fine but I like my Creme brûlée to be traditional. Not their fault.

Casey T.

Yelp
Amazing food for every course. Creative food flavors that work very well. You can tip the kitchen which is different and nice. We bought a round for the kitchen because the food was deserving of recognition. The desert was delicious. An espresso crème brûlée was delightful. They even offered the recipe for patrons. My pictures sucked because we ate to much to take a picture of. Excellent meal with warm cozy dim lit atmosphere. Staff was great and kept good conversation and were knowledgeable of the surrounding sites.

Sheila C.

Yelp
We stopped in here because they had outdoor, as well as indoor seating. We wanted to sit outside but a rainstorm was coming. Seating was quick, as were the beverages and order taking. I wouldn't order the truffle fries again because they are simply regular French fries, but the shrimp pasta I ordered was wonderful. Next time I am in town, I would be happy to return and try one of their other signature dishes.

Derek C.

Yelp
I was basically refused service through passive actions. I tried to ask for a table on the patio. There were 3 parties already dining and a stack of stored tables in the corner. When I asked the hostess for availability, she said that no tables were currently available, and I could leave my number for her to call back when one was free. I walked around the block, and when I returned, they set up a new table from the stack and gave it to a white couple and told me it would be a long wait.

Tyson C.

Yelp
Great service from the moment we walked into the restaurant. I would recommend making reservations. The restaurant was about 90% occupied on a Sunday evening by 6:30 pm. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was tremendous. Mixed drink choices and wine selection was also on par.

Jessica W.

Yelp
Riviera is always a great choice for enjoying delicious food with a cozy atmosphere. Our friends love the happy hour! Service is always on point!

Justin M.

Yelp
This was a wonderful experience all around. I emailed ahead for reservations and was pleasantly surprised to have a large both waiting for my wife and I. Keep in mind it was busy and they could have seated us at a two seater table in the middle of the restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive. The decor was modern, clean, and inviting. They take pride in the ingredients and provide a long list house made dressings and sauces they prepare fresh. My wife is gluten-free and they went out of their way to accommodate her. The garlic shrimp, normally made with linguini, was server over a bed of roasted vegetables and a side of gluten free garlic bread. She couldn't stop talking about how much she enjoyed it. The Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection, with a nice reduced demi glace over the potatoes. The Bone Marrow, one of my favorites, did not disappoint. They normally have live music, that would have been nice but COVID restrictions made that impossible. Glennwood Springs is a great romantic get away destination. I'd recommend a night dinning at Riviera Supper Club to add to the adventure.

Kristina T.

Yelp
If you want amazing food that is made with love and passion, The Riviera Supper Club is the place to go. The words "supper club" can sound intimidating, but do not be. The Riviera does not have a dress code so feel free to dress casually and comfortably. Reservations are not required, but they are highly recommended since it gets very busy. The reservation process is very easy though. Simply email or call the restaurant to make a reservation. Fine dining restaurants can make a huge dent to your wallet, but the prices at The Riviera are not outrageous. As much as possible is sourced locally, and the chalkboard on the wall lists where the products are sourced from. The staff is fantastic. You can tell how passionate and proud they are of the menu by how thoroughly they explain what is on there. My boyfriend and I came for dinner one night. We were dining a little late, and the beef wellington and the prime rib were sold out. We started off with the baked Danish brie and our own wine flight. I had the garlic shrimp. He had the lasagna. We ended by sharing a creme brulee. Everything was super flavorful and delicious. The food was ample, and we had a little bit of leftovers. The service was top-notch, and our server was so friendly and attentive. The historical building and decor created a lovely ambiance. We had a really nice date night at The Riviera. The Riviera is not an everyday place, but it is great for a special occasion or for any night when you want to treat yourself. Everything on the menu is good because everything is thoughtfully created. Dinner at The Riviera is an experience worth your money.

Yelp
It was hard to find any complaints on this visit. Service was on point. Place was clean. And the food tasted so good it made me wanna slap my momma!

Suz S.

Yelp
Outstanding service, fantastic meal had by all. Truffle fries a huge hit, and the salmon just perfect. Highly recommended!

Nicole L.

Yelp
The Boozy Burger is by far the best burger I've ever had! We also had the egg rolls and prime rib sandwich. All of our food was amazing. The service was great. I definitely recommend checking out this restaurant.

Ka M.

Yelp
We were visiting Glenwood Springs and made reservations to come here. We had a fantastic dinner. Food is delicious! We had escargot, bone marrow and soup for appetizers and then I had the prime rib and my fiancée had the duck special. We shared cherry pie for dessert. Everything was amazing. The sauce the escargot was in was delicious and I'd buy it if they bottled it! Service was really great, our waitress was really nice. She even chased us down (in the snow) when I left my prime rib leftovers behind! Really recommend this place.

Yelp
Love, love, loved it! We were in town for my sister's 40th birthday weekend and this place was highly recommended. I made reservations a few weeks out and we had the best evening! Food was amazing, cocktails, divine. We shared the Baked Brie appetizer and each got a different dish for dinner: Stroganoff, Duck, Salmon, and Wellington. All were fantastic! The place was packed. Lively atmosphere and fun staff. Would return in a heartbeat if I'm ever back in Glenwood!

Yelp
It's rare to find a restaurant where the owner cooks, where the cook takes chances, is talented, and in doing so, is rewarded by a loyal customer base. This is one such restaurant. I was thinking, in my ordering of a cheeseburger... what could go wrong? Great location, talented chef, fair pricing, quality ingredients... but my cheeseburger, despite a good bun, tasty onions, awesome French fries, delectable, homemade catsup, fresh lettuce, etc., suffered from a notably weird taste in the meat. It was probably from an expensive local cut, as the menu states. But it tasted odd, kind of gamey. I didn't finish it. I'd suggest trying something else on the menu.

Yelp
The food was great, service was excellent, but I wish they had only told us about the voluntary tip for the kitchen. We were given the tab without any indication of this. I feel that customers shouldn't have to compensate for wages for the staff that are customarily paid by the establishment...Wouldn't it be better to increase prices than to add this charge? Just my opinion though!
