Rixos Premium Dubrovnik

Where do I start. We were at this hotel for 3 days and the hotel was the base. Walking into the port area is around 20 mins and the bus service is 3mins away. There is a Supermarket 2 mins walk up the hill for all you needs. Restaurants are within 10 mins. Buffet Breakfast was excellent with the availability to have Omelets cooked fresh. Staff at the hotel assisted us many times during our stay and always with a smile. Room was excellent and spacious with a balcony view of the ocean, swimming pool and beach area. Rooms are cool even with the sun setting over the balcony. Hotel has a sports bar, Restaurant, Gym just to name a few things. This hotel is definitely on our list next visit. Upon arrival the check in process is very personal with the staff actually walking and informing you about the hotel services on offer.

From check-in to check-out, we had a marvelous stay. At check-in everything went smoothly and we were also provided a glass of bubbly after a long day of travel. The room was exceptional with a beautiful view of the sea and Lokrum Island. The breakfast buffet was absolutely over-the-top! Everything you could imagine was offered and we sat on the balcony soaking in the sun. The sports bar manager took time to find my favorite American football team and show the game for me among all the soccer lovers. We were so pleased we extended our stay. Service was superb throughout the stay.

Hotel is on very beautiful location, 10 minutes walk for center of the city. Stuff is very friendly and polite, always ready to help. Rooms are big enough, very clean with beautiful view on seaside. Spa area has a lot of content and also massage that we had was great (Andrea was my terapeut and she was lovely). Breakfast and dinner time was also great. Food was very delicious and there is various kind of food so you can definitily find something for everyone. All in all, very pleasant stay at the hotel and looking forward to come back here.

I had a very unfortunate experience at this hotel. The hotel itself is nice - well presented and in a great spot. We were also lucky enough to be upgraded to a beautiful suite. That suite had a hammock on the balcony. A great spot to relax. However, when I sat on the hammock the canvas was so loose that I fell straight into the base and fractured a bone in my spine - on day one of a very expense European trip from Australia. I was unfortunately in agony for that entire trip (and after I got back home). At the time, the staff acknowledged the issue and assured me that the hammock had been removed (just imagine if a pregnant lady sat on it). However when I wrote to the hotel, the response was disgraceful. They had a lawyer respond to me (after I followed up several times - just not something I could let go) and when he finally did, he tried to blame me. Apparently I was meant to adjust the hammock to make it tighter before sitting on it - and I don’t think this was actually adjustable as it was built on a frame, which is what I hit). There was certainly no instruction to do that. The fact is, it wasn’t true and they blatantly dismissed my grievance without so much as an apology. Hospitality is more than just smiles and great views. I will most definitely visit Dubrovnik again but cannot justify staying at a place that does not truly care for the safety and wellbeing of its guests.

We stayed here for two nights with two colleagues on a work trip. The hotel is in such a beautiful location right on the sea. From the minute we arrived the staff were very friendly but also extremely efficient. Stefan was brilliant. We had a sea view room with beautiful balcony and magnificent view. The beach club area and hotel lobby were both beautiful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with huge variety- they even had delicious healthy juices on offer. Its a great location - a pleasant 15 minute stroll from the busy city center. We would highly recommend this fabulous hotel.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve been in my life. The breakfast is amazing! The ocean view is impressive. The only thing I recommend is the hotel management to replace the tv set with one which you can access streaming. The bathroom should have a door for privacy. Everything else is just excellent.

I stayed for one weekend night, just a quick break from work. The architecture of the hotel is famously unique and that’s what attracted me to book with you. I love the design of the building, with the sea view etc. While this did not disappoint indeed, I was completely surprised by how amazing your staff were. They continuously went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and make my stay memorable. Even though it was my first time and I only stayed for one night, I felt as if they knew me, as if I was part of their family! They showed me around the hotel, answered all my questions, addressed all my queries in a super positive way. Your staff are truly outstanding, by far the biggest asset of this excellent hotel!
