Was excited to try this new Mexican steakhouse especially for their Wagyu on the stone dish. Unfortunately, they had run out by the time we arrived, which was surprising for a Wednesday night, not even a weekend. Disappointing, to say the least.
We ended up ordering the cowboy steak instead, and it absolutely did not disappoint. It came with bone marrow, was super tender, and perfectly cooked. We paired it with truffle gratin potatoes, which complemented the steak beautifully. For starters, we tried the ribeye chicharron, rock shrimp, and oysters which were all very good .
For dessert, we went with their signature corn illusion ice cream filled with dulce de leche. It had a very unique and acquired flavor. Not necessarily my favorite, but still interesting to try.
We also learned about their weekday lunch special $35 for an appetizer entre and one side of your choice , which includes the skirt steak as an option. That's a deal worth coming back for.
The space itself is beautifully decorated inside, with a stylish, upscale feel that makes it perfect for a night out. The bar area is super cool too, and the fake fire illusion adds a fun and eyecatching touch to the ambiance.
