10/10 — Amazing Date Night Experience at Ro Sushi Co Ro Sushi Co is truly the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to so far, and it was perfect for our date night. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a relaxed and memorable evening. The highlight of our experience was Timmy, the chef! He was incredibly passionate, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his craft. Our server (a young gentleman with curly hair) was also very kind, professional, and attentive throughout the night. The food was outstanding. The seared salmon belly was absolutely unforgettable. It melted in my mouth and was full of flavor. Every dish was beautifully prepared and tasted fresh and delicious. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Ro Sushi Co, for such a wonderful experience!

I’d been hearing great things about Rō Sushi Company in Chevy Chase, so we decided to stop in for dinner on a recent Friday night, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. When we arrived, there was a brief wait to be seated because the team initially thought we were picking up a to-go order. Once that was cleared up, the hostess B seated us, and our server Kevin took great care of us. Both were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which is always a great start to a meal. Our drinks took a little time, but we didn’t mind at all. We were happily chatting and easing into the evening. Highlights from the meal: • Garlic butter edamame was absolutely delicious. Rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. • Sushi was very good overall, with an impressive selection of specialty rolls. Kevin helped me decide, which I appreciated because narrowing it down was not easy. • Chicken bao bun featured crispy, crunchy chicken with a flavorful sauce that really worked. • Salmon entrée ordered by my friend looked beautifully cooked, and she finished every bite. • Lychee cocktail with rose syrup was light, floral, and refreshing. The restaurant was lively and buzzing, as expected for a Friday night. There is a more casual sushi bar area as well as a main dining room, which gives the space some versatility. One thing to note is that the restroom is located next door in Elena May, the restaurant next door. To end the meal, we shared the tempura cheesecake with blueberry sauce, an off-menu treat that is also available with strawberry or chocolate sauce. It was creamy on the inside, crunchy on the outside, and a fun twist on a classic dessert. Final take: A solid, enjoyable meal with friendly service and great energy. I would definitely return, especially for lunch or happy hour.

All I can say is “wow”! The interior is so clean and well decorated. The food is amazing and creative. We had the spicy cucumber salad which was super unique and delicious! (Pictured). The seared salmon belly is a must have! Don’t sleep on their curry either. It is so unique as they use the most tender beef. And never skip dessert! It is homemade with love! The service is amazing. Vlad was our server and he was great! Definitely come for their lunch specials as well! This place is a total gem!

Hands down the best sushi restaurant we’ve ever been to. The sushi was very fresh and high quality. We also tried the udon noodle soup and the chicken bun - the sauce on the chicken bun was incredibly delicious. The waitress treated us exceptionally well. I honestly can’t remember the last time I received service this great. Definitely a must-try, and we can’t wait to come back!

Located in Chevy Chase, MD this quaint restaurant showcases a massive menu that features Japanese staples such as chicken buns and two bite dumplings. I shared the Omakase To The Table Nigiri Platter which was a selection of some of the chef’s favorite sushi rolls. Every bite was beautifully draped with the freshest slices of fish and veggies. My favorite bite of the night was the Harmony Roll that was packed with marinated shiitake mushrooms.

We indulged a little and ordered the seaweed salad, dumplings, chicken buns, and the Ro Experience. Everything was delicious, the service was great, and the restaurant was very clean. Thanks for having us - will definitely be back soon!

Amazing nigiri. High quality fish. The specialty rolls were also unique. Soft shell crab roll had chilies and orange zest on it, and it was very delicious. Best high quality sushi for value in MoCo area.
