Highlights

Come visit one of San Antonio's newest craft breweries downtown. All beers on tap are brewed in-house on our 7 barrel system. There's plenty of room in our 8,000 square foot tap room for large groups. Corn hole, giant jenga and other board games are there for guests to enjoy while they sip on beer.

"The near-downtown brewery excels in making summery hefeweizens and pilsners. Even better, it hosts Last Place Burgers, the best smash burgers in town. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Brandon Watson

Yelp
Great beer selection with a sense of humor. This is our favorite brewery in town. My wife had the Last Place Lager which was first rate! I had the Alright, Alright, Alright Pilsner...when in Texas... Great knowledgeable bartenders and excellent white cheese popcorn. Our favorite part of this place was the creativity of the beer names. Being from Tennessee, our favorite was Peyton Manning's Forehead...a big beer for a big head! If we travel back here...we will be back!

Yelp
What isn't great about roadmap? Great house-made local beer selection and even better service. They even have a back room with steel dart tip boards.

Jonathan C.

Yelp
My family and I decided to try out a local brewery, and I have to say it was a great choice!! I ordered the 10oz "Lil Rhody" IPA. It was amazing, if we stayed there I would've kept drinking until I was under the table. I can't wait to go back for more beers. We didn't stay very long, but this place is clean and the crowd was chill. I did not see any table service so you have to keep going to the front to order more beers. All in all, I am a satisfied customer.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in for a quick beer on Sunday while exploring San Antonio and brewery hopping. Definitely a low key brewery with good beer. Cat on a Rollar Coaster NEIPA was fresh and delicious. Their brew tanks are exposed and make for some great scenery.

Yelp
I was driving through San Antonio and needed a place to escape the heat with my dog. Fortunately Roadmap offered just that, plus wifi and plenty of places to charge a laptop. They have a variety of beers that are sure to appeal to everyone no matter your tastes. I really enjoyed the hefeweizen. Also plenty of games to play if you choose to do so. Overall highly recommended!!

Brandon K.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Monica is great and really knows her beer. I suggest trying a flight and go with her recommendations. It has a large indoor seating area and a good patio as well. Outside you have the Last Place Burger food truck serving up awesome smash burgers. GO TRY THIS PLACE!

Donovan T.

Yelp
Lovely spot. So much good beer. I think I might come to this area more often. The service was super friendly and knowledgeable. This is why we need more breweries in the world. Lol.

Yuki M.

Yelp
It's a great place to hangout! I like Hefeweizen type of beer. I always enjoy WTHefe and also I like Alright Alright Alright (Pilsner). Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. There is a food truck outside. So you can order the food and bring it inside, then enjoy beer and food together. The food truck was used to be "Project Pollo", but now "Last Place Burger". Yum! This is a dog friendly place. But if you love cats like me, this is also a great place for you! I always look forward to seeing a friendly cat who lives inside of this brewery. But of course no guarantees to see the cat, because it depends on the cat's mood

Yelp
I love this place. Definitely a must go. It's family friendly, clean and just a cool place to hang out.

Yelp
One of my favorite breweries in San Antonio! I am not a huge beer drinker, but when I'm at Roadmap, I always find a beer I really really enjoy. They have a fun menu that changes up regularly which makes it fun to return because you never know what you'll discover. They have a very chill environment with mainly indoor seating. Great for small and big groups. They have Trivia on Thursdays which can get crowded, so get there early! Rumor has is The Last Burger food truck is rolling into Roadmap January 14th. I'm looking forward to that because I've heard lots of good things about them too!! Overall, I say you should try his place out because I bet, you too, will become a fan.

Ted C.

Yelp
I heard on one of my first trips that Roadmap brewing was a good place to check out, if I was into local beers. I finally got around to going with a friend and her BF. He was into beer and she was okay with it as well. The space was a nice converted storefront and staff was friendly even as it got busier. The beers I had were pretty good, I'm into sours and their one was good. I appreciated that they had a food truck permanently attached to their space but it was a vegan chicken spot, which was not really what I'm looking for when I'm drinking a beer.

Marcos D.

Yelp
First stop on -a group bar crawl, great service, ambiance, and an outstanding wheat beer. Plenty of room for large groups to talk and connect.

Yunnán C.

Yelp
Roadmap is a great place to checkout after work or really whenever you want! They have a great selection of beers, they're really quick(will give you your pour right as you're paying), there's lot of large tables for groups, and if you're hungry there's Project Pollo's food truck parked outside of it. I'm an IPA drinker so I've dipped into every IPA they have on their beer list and they're all great. The table next to us had a chess match going. A great place for dog lovers, plenty of doggos here enjoying pets. Have came here a handful of times and have always had a great experience. The staff is top notch, cheers!

Karmen K.

Yelp
As someone who primarily drinks hoppy beers, this place was just okay to me. The vibe was cool and the bartender was nice so I'll give it another shot someday.

Ashley G.

Yelp
We have enjoyed coming here as they're dog friendly inside(!) and outside. They have a great selection of all types of beer and are very friendly. *They also have free stickers!

Bentley J.

Yelp
They do trivia night on Thursdays. It's fun and people get competitive. They have games if you wanna play board games while drinking beer or cider or barley wine.

Sheldon A.

Yelp
I actually came here because of Project Pollo soon was disappointed to learn they will be not be renewing the lease for Project Pollo. Anyways, service was decent but nothing exceptional. Honestly I would rate them 3/5 stars but the beer was very good. I usually stay away from IPAs so I can't comment on that but their ESB, Hef, Pilsner and schwarzbier were all delicious.

Amy M.

Yelp
Loved it here!! Great beer! Friendly service and the vibes were great. We had a nice time hanging out inside the brewery with our pup enjoying some delicious beers!

Ja M.

Yelp
I came across this place because I was invited to join a running night, the location is very good and there was a food truck outside too. The beers were refreshing and there was quite the variety. The inside definitely smelled like a brewery.

Evelynn M.

Yelp
I came here on a Wednesday evening to catch up with some friends. It was the perfect setting. The music playlist was awesome and the selection of beer was great. I enjoyed bringing my dog and the easy parking across the street. I'd totally come again!

Brianne W.

Yelp
Dropped in in a random Tuesday after taking the kids to six flags. Had to try their professor plum sour as it was the only sour on tap. Very delicious; not too plain but not extremely tart. Good sour, and definitely would buy again. Great vibes, fairly busy for a Tuesday at 8pm. You can tell this is a go to brewery for the neighborhood.

Diana G.

Yelp
Good beer. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly. What more can you ask for? They have a good selection of beers. Their beer on tap is not expensive. You can also buy canned. They have a good a amount of inside seating. They also have a few benches outside, but shade is limited. There's a vegan food truck on site. Parking is across the street, but limited. You can find street parking or you can pay $5 to park across from Bentley's.

Robert M.

Yelp
Went for animal defense league day. The beers are good and reasonably priced. The food burger truck outside was great, too. Will definitely be back.

Sebastian O.

Yelp
Beers are good, but I wish during trivia they would have staff monitor for teams cheating. It sucks to try your hardest and always loose to teams who cheat :(

Chad K.

Yelp
This is a nice little place. My first time hearing about this brewery, I was impressed with the quality of the various beers, and sitting next to the huge tanks was pretty impressive. The sour fruited choice (Professor Plum's Alibi) was actually too sour to enjoy or even to drink. The stout and lager more than made up for it, though.

Lauren F.

Yelp
Came here during our recent trip to San Antonio! Being originally from Indiana we were glancing at the menu and saw they had a beer called Peyton Mannings forehead and knew we had to stop in! Was a great place to watch some of the World Cup games and happily took advantage of their happy hour $5 beer special! We tried a few of their beers but kept going back to the Hefeweizen! It was just so good. Great open space, good for large groups or just individuals. Oh and did I mention they also have some furry friends working as 'brewers'. We had the great pleasure of meeting Simcoe!

Veronica E.

Yelp
Great beers and staff, I love that they're pet friendly. One Friday a month the brewery has a keep the glass night, a limited amount are free and I'm happy to say I have snagged a few.

Matt J.

Yelp
Very good selection of beers unless you're a hazy IPA fan like myself. They did have one hazy that was just okay. Great service and although we didn't have any food it looked good based on what we saw at the tables around us.

Anna Marie M.

Yelp
Friendly staff, big space for big groups, fun board games/darts, great drinks, AND free trivia on Thursdays at 7:30 PM! My friends and I came unknowingly after work and we had a blast along with the other 16 teams that came out to play. It was about 2hrs with free prizes if you win! Would definitely come back!

Jay J.

Yelp
Great brewery. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere. Great beers. Food truck outside. Highly recommend. 9/10 for me.

Kristen B.

Yelp
Looks like a soda shop upon walking in. Fun beer names ...good variety! Beer to go along with merch right at the door. Large indoor space that is pet friendly. Outdoor space but would be nice if it was a little bigger, however, the day we visited it was a windstorm so we didn't care!

Christopher W.

Yelp
Stopped into Roadmap for a much needed cool-off while riding our bikes in downtown San Antonio. I ordered the gose which is often my choice for summer beers. The beer true to reviews was excellent. There is also a great food truck that rolls up daily. Nice spot.

Gerald H.

Yelp
Decent brewery in San Antonio a few miles away from the riverwalk. A nice selection of IPAs with a small outdoor area. Beers are unlike California IPAs with a little more bitterness to it. Cute tanks! Like it's a home brew place. :) If you're tired of the riverwalk and chain beers take a scooter and come here. The riverwalk don't have taps from some of these smaller breweries.

Nancy G.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Nice for hanging out with friends either indoor or outdoor. Has a decent selection of beers. If you'd like wine they have red or white wine seltzers

Andrea M.

Yelp
Stopped in on our way back to our hotel and grabbed several crowlers (32oz. To-go cans) the bartender was such a trooper and let us sample before we committed to purchasing. The bar itself is a cool hangout with indoor games, board games and jenga. The staff was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I would have bought a shirt because I fell in love with the Electric SkateBoard.

Kim F.

Yelp
Large indoor seating area, with 3 or more rooms. I was surprised, but happy to see that dogs are allowed inside (I guess since they don't serve food?). There is also a smaller outdoor seating area by the food truck. Hand sanitizer is provided. Large offering of beers, so should be something for every taste. We enjoyed our sampler and will come back for something larger of our favorites another time.

Christine W.

Yelp
This brewery is such a gem! Not only does it have parking, a huge sitting area and a great selection of beer... it also has a brewery dog ! Well besides that, the selection of beers here is unique with limited but well selected choices. You can choose from a flight of 5oz beers to a good ol' pint and they also have Togo 32 oz beers! Which I believe have a promo on Wednesday's! Will be adding this to my go-to spots!

Adelaide A.

Yelp
The beer is good the staff is nice the bathrooms are disgusting and the management does not care at all.

Bee B.

Yelp
Nice brewery close by to the Pearl district. I tried their sour - Koalas Love Kiwis, and wow! Decent sour! Dog friendly brewery and I got to say hi to allllll the pups. Big space to spread out, and they have games if you want to play some board games with friends.

Veggie Luv A.

Yelp
Love this place & their welcoming atmosphere. They offer a variety of homemade brews to choose from. The brewery has huge windows facing the street so you can enjoy watching all the action going on outside like, cyclist, runners, dog walkers & more. They offer plenty of indoor seating & some outdoor seating as well. if your lucky, you'll spot the cute cat that lives inside the brewery. And if your hungry, there's a food truck called Project Pollo that's always parked outside the brewery, they offer burgers, wraps, "chickn" sandwiches, buffalo wings, nuggets & more. 100% plant-based.

Fernanda F.

Yelp
Roadmap Brewing is a pretty cool and chill brewery in downtown San Antonio. They have a wide range of beer styles, and a lot of cool flavors. I love how creative they are with their beer names, which makes me want to order one of each every time I visit. My go-to is their Heffen Weisen, which is very tasty and hoppy all at the same time. If you want to snack on something while enjoying a beer, they have some delicious buffalo wing sauce flavored popcorn that are super addictive. This place is also dog friendly, and they always have doggy treats next to the register. If you are driving, they have a parking lot across the brewery for patrons. Prost!

Grace G.

Yelp
Do not use the bathroom! Gross gross gross! Based upon the bathroom, I don't think they wash their glass either.

Marc T.

Yelp
Great beer selection-with tasty beers. I started off with "Alright, Alright, Alright" definitely a fresh tasty Pilsner. Then moved on to a Session West Coast IPA, hoppy and delicious. The atmosphere was laid back with a fun friendly crowd. I even enjoyed the Vegan food truck located in the back , I'm not vegan, but the food was tasty. I'd recommend Roadmap Brewing to all who visit the area and appreciate fresh tasty beers. This is a family owned business and that's enough for me. La Familia.

Walter S.

Yelp
Let's be honest: this review has been a long time coming. We were there on opening day and loved everything we tried and have been back many times since as they continually deliver amazing beers and incredible service. My go to beers when I visit are either the Mini Van Dad Double IPA or the Somoa. The Mini Van Dad has a nice smooth clean yet hoppy taste to it and the Somoa is dark, rich, and a little sweet. It's heaven in a glass. Speaking of glasses-keep your eyes tuned to their social media feed as recently they've instituted "keep the glass nights" where upon purchasing one of their beers you get to take home some really cool glassware. The taproom is per friendly and not only do they have local food trucks park out front they also allow for outside food to be brought in as well. On the front wall, near the giant roadmap logo they have shelves of various games to play at your table while enjoying your beer and also corn hole set up in the back part of the taproom. Staff has always been super friendly and will allow you to do a sample/tasting before you decide which beer you're gonna settle down with. The fact that the staff recognize me when I enter should tell you that not only do I gush about this place, but I am also a frequent visitor. The beer is great. The venue is great. The hours and staff are great. What more is there to want or say? Prost and Drink Local.

Ashley H.

Yelp
Great spot for a private event. There is an entire room tucked away in the back that I didn't even know existed - I've always sat near the front by the bar on previous visits. The room is plenty spacious and the staff was very friendly.

Roel Kristy V.

Yelp
Whoop whoop! Here's to RMBC and their ever evolving taps that always hit the spot. Owners Dustin and Hanna have made such a success of the great place, they have broken through a wall for expansion and have a great space very soon for private events. Super nice people, locally owned, what more could you want in a neighborhood brew pub.

Kris U.

Yelp
This is a fun brewery to visit. It has a spacious air-conditioned interior and has a stack of boardgames and plenty of outdoor games to entertain you (inside!). You can choose between cornhole, giant jenga, giant connect 4, and giant checkers. The brewery is dog friendly and the owner's pup is so sweet. On to the beer. They have a good variety of styles so something to please every palate. Some of their beers need to develop a bit, such as the IPAs, but they seem promising. The Mini Van Dad, a double IPA, was the best of their IPAs. The Somoa stout and WTHef hefeweizen my other favorites. The staff was friendly but seemed distracted, and it was hard to get their attention at times although we were sitting right at the bar.

Katie N.

Yelp
Love the names of the beers and the spacious setup. I had tried a few beers and nothing was to die for, but I'm sure they're always changing. I will just have to go back! Love that they're dog-friendly inside and out.

Christa S.

Yelp
By far the best brewery on our personal brewery tour in SA! Great atmosphere, beer, and service. Highly recommend! There's everything from stouts to sours! 100% a must visit!

Laura F.

Yelp
I love this brewery. They have such a wide variety of beer styles, you are sure to find something everyone enjoys. Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable about beer. They are pet friendly and even have a resident cat who lives there. There are also dog treats by the cash register. They don't have food inside but the food truck outside is delicious and you can bring your food inside. They also have a really large space so distancing is not a problem. Also, try the popcorn from the Alamo City Popcorn Company by the register, I recommend the Spicy Buffalo.
