Great spot to see a show. There really isn’t a bad view in the house. The one negative is the drinks are very over-priced, but seems to be the typical for venues in Boston.

Devin Sweeney

Google
In my inaugural experience at Roadrunner, I was pleasantly surprised by the venue’s overall enjoyment. The venue’s size exceeded expectations, and its capacity was significantly higher than anticipated. It is important to note that if a show is sold out, it is likely oversold. If the show was not sold out, the experience would have been considerably more enjoyable. Security was efficient and did not require pat-downs or wand checks before entry (which is advantageous in terms of time, but not necessarily the most secure method). However, we did not mind this aspect. It is worth mentioning that we did not arrive and proceed through security until approximately 10:45-11:00 pm, which may have contributed to the ease of the process. The highlight of the evening was the exceptional sound quality. The sound system was impeccable, and the technicality across the board was remarkable. The sound quality and placement was the chefs kiss 🤌🏻 of the evening. While I suggest incorporating more stage lighting and LED screen elements throughout the venue, similar to what was done at Royale, the overall experience was highly enjoyable. The sound quality elevated the entire performance, which was already exceptional. My primary concerns regarding the venue were the excessive pricing of beverages and the room’s temperature. The drink prices were comparable to those of some venues in Boston, despite the venue’s location in Allston rather than Boston. The cost of four liquor drinks, approximately $120 (including a 10-15% tip), was somewhat excessive. However, I acknowledge that as a newer venue, the venue may be seeking a return on its investment. Additionally, the venue utilized paper straws for beverages, which, while environmentally friendly, were inconvenient. They quickly dissolved or melted into the drink, even when consumed rapidly, which was unfortunate and disappointing. The venue did provide “air,” but it was blowing warm or hot air, rather than the colder air expected for a room of approximately 3,500 people. While this was not a deal-breaker, it did diminish the overall experience. Despite these minor issues, the venue proved to be an excellent choice for DJ shows. The bass was powerful, the sound was well-balanced, and the experience was comparable to some of my favorites. I promptly purchased tickets for another show in May and eagerly anticipate returning soon. I highly recommend this venue to those seeking a memorable experience. ….Oh, and you’re welcome everyone reading this for this well put, honest, and detailed review 😉🔥

Google
1st time at this venue and had a blast seeing Gryffin! Not your sardine style club. Sounds and effects were on point. I cant wait to see more folks here. Staff is friendly and organized

Google
Roadrunner is a Music and Live event venue located in the Allston Yards area of Allston. The venue staff are friendly and very helpful, moving the attendees along quite quickly. The standing room floor is very large, larger than other venues in the area, as well as an upper balcony that can be used for standing as well. There are multiple bar areas, providing ease of access for drinks as well as other amentities. The bathrooms are small for the size of the venue, but there are multiple located throughout the venue. We saw Knock2 as well as other artists at this venue. The venue has Air Conditioning throughout the ground floor, making it less likely to overheat with the size of the crowd. The acoustics were good as well, and the stage was visible from most locations. Was a fun experience to see live.

Google
The venue is very clean, bathrooms are clean and very large. There is one main entrance, so getting out of the show feels a little crowded, and it's mostly standing room only on the ground floor. I could see limited seating on the sides and in the balcony. Staff was friendly and check in was quick!

Google
Love this venue, smaller but plenty of room to stand and still experience artist up close. Much more intimate experience! General admission tickets are super affordable too.

Nick Zmudzinski

Google
One of the best mid-size concert venues I’ve been to. Saw Men I Trust here and was very happy with the premium balcony section. Acoustics are probably better on the floor but I loved having lots of spacious room, many bars and restrooms throughout, and process for getting inside was very well managed. Great place!

Google
We went to go see Ben Harper last week. I am currently using a wheelchair due to an injury and I was worried it would be a hassle to try and go to a concert. I was so impressed with the Roadrunner and their entire staff. They were so helpful and professional. They had a space prepared for my wheelchair. It was a great experience

Yelp
Inside the venue. Amazing. The second floor with the riser seats were awesome. Outside the venue. Where are the food trucks? Minus one point

Yelp
G Eazy Freak Show 2024 Standing room only, unless you request specialty seating (limited to about 20 chairs, left stage "pit" area) We got general admission floor tickets and, in my opinion, were BETTER than balcony. Balcony is further away from the stage and costs more. You don't get to interact with the artists or have easy access to bar/bathrooms. We stood with our backs to the DJ equipment and had the best view Doors open an hour before show. Security and metal detectors/checkpoints upon arrival. Bathrooms are big and spacious. There are bar areas, but drinks are pretty steep ($18 for a down east cider)

Yelp
Came here for the Sofi Tukker concert. Top row had a lot of nice viewpoints but would appreciate some crowd control as there were several very young children (? No idea why) and they were out of control...so were the parents. Was crowded and hard to get a space to see the stage, which isn't amazing because we paid extra for the balcony. Won't be doing that again. Besides that, tons of space, nice bar. The security is absolutely insane. +1 star for being so thorough but also -1 for being very rude to an extreme. Sure felt safe though! Overall had a nice time at Roadrunner because the music was sublime.

Yelp
Always great to see quality new music venues open. Roadrunner fills a much-needed niche between The Sinclair and The Garden. It's a great mid-size venue that consistently books solid indie artists. I've seen over a dozen shows here and have never had an issue - the venue is clean, the sound is great, and the refreshments are solid. A couple of callouts: 1. The entry line can be absurd. At times, it stretches nearly around the block back to the entrance. Whatever the bottleneck is, the process could definitely be more efficient. 2. The location is a mixed bag. It's a bit out of the way, which means there aren't many pre-show dining or drinking options nearby. But on the plus side, parking is relatively easy, and getting back on the highway post-show is painless. Overall, a welcome addition to Boston's music scene.

Yelp
Saw a concert here and it was a fun night. It gets packed inside and the line to get in can take a long time. It helps if you only care about the main act so you can go in last minute. Big props because they give you large cups of iced water for free!
google avatar

Lily G.

Yelp
- AT LEAST 2 people fainted during still woozy, the band had to stop playing (2 minutes into the show) Staff handed out water bottles only at the front of the venue, fully fully packed - ridiculously long lines. We paid $25 a person to go in a faster line - uneven flooring, tripped often - lights were only blue between sets - no fun music between sets pros: music wasn't too loud

Yelp
A quick update after seeing a show tonight: the adjacent garages increased their rate to $20 :/ Other than that had a similar experience although I was able to connect to The Track wifi while inside the venue.

Erin K.

Yelp
Great venue! Highly recommend getting the guest room passes if they are offered. I received an email to purchase them before Jack White's show and they were well worth it. It was freezing out and the line was so long to get in the main entrance but with the guest room pass you enter on the side of the building. The guest room is on the left balcony side where we had tickets with a private bar and restrooms (only 2 so plan accordingly). But a nice place to chill and socialize before the show, and you can go in and out from the balcony seating during the show.

Yelp
I'm happy about the addition of Roadrunner to the Boston music scene. We desperately needed it. They've been getting so many great acts of all different genres. The venue is beautiful and the sound and acoustics are great. I also had an awesome experience with one of the bartenders Chrys. Can't wait to visit again!
google avatar

Yelp
A great place to see a concert in Boston. They do it all well, from service to security. It's also handicapped accessible, and if you need one and let them know in advance, they'll provide a chair. I look forward to future visits.

Jim K.

Yelp
Awesome venue to see a show. Went to see The Red Clay Strays and it was a fantastic show! The venue was very clean including the bathrooms which were spotless. Doors opened at 7pm, we arrived around 7:30. There was a line outside but it moved quickly. Decided to walk around inside for a bit to check this place out. Very impressed with everything. Headed upstairs and ultimately stayed up there since the view was better. No issues leaving after the show. Wish the mech line wasn't so backed up. Inside is a total dead zone for cell service! They do have free WiFi though.

Alexandria C.

Yelp
I had a pleasant experience, my friend and I saw Sampha at this venue. The check in process was speedy, and we were seated before we knew it. We sat in the balcony and had a great view. It's the perfect venue for a simplistic musician. Will be on the lookout for more shows here.

Yelp
Black toilets? I see you Roadrunner- Fancy! What a nice venue! 1. Easy to find parking around the venue- Check! 2. Easy to enter (fast, quick and efficient)- Check! 3. Clean upon entry- Check! 4. Security was super nice to us and the 2 kids I had with me- Check! 5. Lots of opportunities for good vantage points- Check! Overall WAY better than The House of Blues! Also shout out to the security guard who was very interested in our kids being into Ween at a young age. He sought us out at the beginning of the show and engaged in conversation. At the end of the show he plowed through the crown to find us. Asked if we were staying for a few minutes. He went up to the stage and got each kid the set list! What a nice guy! We had a great experience at Roadrunner!

Yelp
Spacious and well organized, this is my new favorite music venue in Boston. The lights and sound for shows from rock to EDM were consistently great, but best of all there was enough space for everyone to get a good view of the artists. With their gender neutral restrooms, I'm curious if long waits are now eliminated since there are plenty of stalls available for everyone. They're also well staffed and so lines go by quickly, including the coat check line which may seem long when they direct the queue to wrap up the stairs but only takes twenty minutes. Event parking in the parking garage nearby was $30 for the night, and there are restaurants and a commuter rail stop within the same plaza. The biggest con is that there's no cell service as others mention so don't expect to be able to call anyone in your group that's inside the venue. I was able to get some service with T-Mobile though but couldn't reach anyone else.
google avatar

Perri V.

Yelp
We've been to a couple shows here- it's a nice venue to have in the neighborhood. For parking, you're best off in one of the garages for $20, though it takes forever to get out at the end. The bars inside are fully stocked and the bartenders are nice. The staff is also good about ADA accommodations, but if you have a group, they're unlikely to be able to be near you in the ADA section. There's basically no cell service, which isn't great if you get split up from your group. Overall a pretty good spot for a show.
google avatar

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Really great concert space that has lots of different areas for you to see what works best for you to enjoy the show.
google avatar

Graham P.

Yelp
Honestly was pretty happily surprised after finally having my first visit to this new concert spot. Been going to shows since I was 10 and this is definitely a good space. The security was kind of ridiculous, but after that the rest of the staff was fast and nice. The space is well designed and we could see and hear very well even at the back of the room. Lots of bathrooms as well. A little pricey for tickets, but that is the ticketing company's fault
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
What a great venue. The sound was great, food was solid, drink selextion. Loved the private lounge. Worth $50

Mike R.

Yelp
Great venue that always has killer bands! I've seen two shows here and the balcony always feels like the secret spot. Great visibility with plenty of room, if you're not in the mood for being on the floor. Big venue that feels like a hidden gem, especially with parking available directly across the street.
google avatar

Sean J.

Yelp
The sound quality is still great, but the security at this venue has gotten outrageous. What was once a breeze is not a full body pat down, with them going through all your personal items (like every little fold in your wallet). I'm not sure if they had some sort of incident, but the new security practices are invasive and cause a ridiculously long wait to get inside.

Yelp
Venue is awesome.... when we finally got in!! Took a half hour in line for id & bag check. And it was FREEZIN!!! Then the lines were crazy long at the bars but we found the quickest bartender!!! Cool place to see a show....acoustics & sound were excellent. It is general admission so if you're behind the jerky people w their phones out, kinda sucks. The worst was the parking garage... took another hour to even MOVE from our pkg spot. Made for a long night.... Don't know if I'd go back... I'm too old for all that sh*€

Sophia C.

Yelp
i've been to roadrunner maybe half a dozen times or more since it's opened. the venue is fine, audio quality good, bathrooms are clean. the line to get in usually wraps around the building for sold out shows but security isn't particularly slow. coat check is digital which takes longer than cash, and took 45 minutes of a 3 hour show for a show in the winter. Bar prices are fine, and you can always go upstairs if there is a line. During an acoustic set at a Faye Webster show the staff had their radios extremely loud which detracted from the intimate, quiet set. no medical or safety emergency was happening from what i could tell, they could have considered turning them down during that part. i'm writing this review because last night i watched as security and the custodian stood by as people walked through a biohazard (vomit) in the floor and did not clean it up. they did not shine a flashlight on it, stand around it, or put cones around it to avoid people from walking into it. just watched as people stepped through it and spread the mess. i asked staff near by to clean it up; they told me to shut the f up. not to mention the complete lack of cell service, so try not to lose your friends. i have a show here in may, i hope no other artists i enjoy book this venue as the staff is careless and inconsiderate.

Alison K.

Yelp
We only went to one show here but the venue was comfortable and easy to navigate. We had a great time the venue was small enough that it was a great view no matter where we ended up and best of all- the bathrooms were clean!

Jennifer R.

Yelp
This was the absolute worst concert experience I've ever had. I waited 45 minutes outside before being shuttled into the venue. At the end of the concert I waited another hour to get my coat while staff screamed and cursed at everyone in line. Will never attend or recommend this venue in the future.
google avatar

Meta P.

Yelp
It's a cool spacious venue, not a bad seat in the house; the security team were cool and not over-the-top. It's nice and air-conditioned which is essential for rock shows, the acoustics were mid but not too bad, and it seems to be pretty clean in here as well. There's a parking garage just two blocks up the street which is really convenient. I prefer this place over HOB and MGM hands-down! The only cons is that there's absolutely no cellphone service past the entrance of this building, no fast food restaurants within walking distance for a *quick* bite to eat before shows, and whatsup with the gender neutral restrooms at a nightclub!? All it's gonna take is one guy that's had too many drinks to harass a female in the restrooms and Roadrunner is going to have a serious problem at hand!
google avatar

Yelp
Before you read any further. This place has 0 cell reception, so don't expect to send anything out while being inside. More on this later. Overall the Venue sets the bar high for the Boston Concert Scene. With Clean bathrooms, easy entrances and close public parking garages this place is great. Public transportation can be tough from some areas of Boston but that seems to be my only caveat. I've been to a couple shows here now and each has been a great experience. Great overall sound and a brand new facility is always a plus. What the tickets lack in price is made up for at the bar with most drinks being priced a bit high. Although being next to a Beer hall has its benefits. No Service Continued: Sorry Gen Z no Snapchat stories or 300 story posts on IG until after the show. Although there is Wifi if you opt in for the "Guest Room" which gains you access to a private bar and dedicated entrance. For $50 you get to skip the general admission line and get complimentary coat check as well. Overall this venue sets a high bar for its long standing competitors. Cough cough "House of Rules"

Yelp
This place is an absolute mess. The bathrooms are open to all but the entire one side is just urinals? The bartenders were nice but slow moving. I bought ONE drink from this place and was kicked out for drinking. I supplied valid id, had a wristband, and am well past 21. They were determined that I was wasted because I was trying to catch my breath after someone came after me up front and beat the living crap out of me. I spent $1000 on flights and $1000 on hotels to see a show here. Didn't get to see them, got jumped, and had to stand out in the rain to try and listen to the band I paid $2200 to see. They also wouldn't accept my other ticket as it "wasn't real" because it was an AXS certified resale.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
- Multiple bathrooms at almost every corner upstairs and downstairs. All gender neutral. One side being urinal and stalls, and the other being just stalls. - There's a ton of things you aren't allowed to take inside. There's also bag size restrictions, so definitely go to the venue website FAQ for the prohibited items to save yourself any hassle. - There's 3 parking garages around the venue that are easy to access, the venue website lists 3 parking garage addresses nearby, but the one located on 80 guest street is the closest (imo) parking cost us 20 bucks. - there is no smoking area, at all. FYI to you smokers out there, get your puffs in before the show. Also there's no lighters allowed inside. - I purchased the quick pass, but also the guest room addition pass. They both have dedicated separate entry ways but both have their separate advantages. - The quick pass is only a fast pass to get in the venue and has its own dedicated line up front. It also has a little sign confirming its the "quick pass" lane. You proceed to walk through a metal detector and they search your bags. If you're trying to secure merch/beat the crowd, this entrance is beneficial because all of the merch tables are right there when you walk in. - the guest room pass has its own dedicated entrance also, you have to walk past the venue to the far left side of it (do not not go up the stairs lol). You'll hit that right pretty much loop to the back side of the building but also see the signage that says "guest room entrance" this is an alternative option that provides another "fast entrance" inside the venue, but this entrance way is on the opposite side, close to the stage area so not close to the merch. You get exclusive access to this small private bar area upstairs. This room has 2 closed door private bathrooms that are gender neutral, it can get packed with a line. This area also has a private bar, some couch seats and bar seats, one tv monitor that will stream the show/artist performing if you're there relaxing. It has a "self service" coat check area, so if you have " expensive" stuff I wouldn't recommend trying to utilize this because it's just a hanger rack that is out in the open for everyone to use. - if you plan to buy merch, bring empty/extra small tote bags or string backpacks with you so you can utilize them to keep your stuff secure. Trust - You'll need it! - if you go through the front entrance, but you also purchased the guest room pass, you need to grab your pass from the guest room staff. You have no option to obtain these virtually because they need to give you a sticker for access. Anywho, if you're looking for how to find the area after entering through the front of the venue: walk towards the stage area, past the left side bar closest to the stage, there will be metal doors at the back wall area near the stage on the left hand side. There will be a set of stairs, and the doors. There will also be a security guard standing by the doors guarding them. You just need to tell the security guard that you entered from the front entrance, but need to get your guest room passes to get entry to the guest room. The security guard will let u through, then you will be lead to a table of people who will give you your guest room pass ticket stub, and a yellow sticker. They will proceed to let you back inside. You can walk up those stairs next to the guest room entrance doors, once upstairs turn left and you will see a security guard standing at the open doors. You will need to put this yellow sticker on and keep it on/secure the entire night for the guest room security guard at the door to allow you in and out of the guest room. (Photo attached of guest room sticker badge thingy and ticket stub I got for the guest room pass as well) - the stairs to get upstairs are a pretty epic workout and unavoidable, so if you are handicapped or just hate steep stairs, I wouldn't recommend purchasing the guest room pass since it's on the second floor. I didn't see any sort of ramps or elevators to help people. reach out to the venue if accommodations are needed to see how they can help. - The venue doesn't have a number, but has an information email address listed on their site. They're super quick to respond, so I appreciated that. - the coat check area downstairs inside is next to the Merch area but seems like it isn't usually open and available. Select shows it is but seems to be rare. The show we attended this weekend they used the coatcheck space for an additional band to sell merch out of. - My cell service was in and out of service in certain areas of the venue but the spot has free Wi-Fi to connect to. - plenty of spaces to sit or stand upstairs where the bleacher style seats are and the ac in the place is top notch so you won't overheat. The bleachers are concrete, so not the most comfortable long term seat. The staff was nice and helpful, but hope this data dump helps y'all!

Yelp
I can't believe this venue only has 3.5 stars on Yelp. This is one of my favorite venues in the Boston area. It has a large floor space for those who like to get down and an upstairs area with these block-like things that you can stand or sit on. As someone who is super short, I find that this venue has lots of places for me to stand and see the stage perfectly. There are bars on both floors. One thing to note is that cell service is not great so make sure you don't lose your friends (or plan on a meeting spot if you get separated!)

Yelp
Actual rating 4.5. Went to the opening Maggie Rogers show (2/9/2023). Had "Guest" tickets so we watched the show from upstairs but I made sure to scope out downstairs to evaluate the views if downstairs. I did not believe that there's not a bad view in the building. I was wrong. This is a larger version of the House of Blues. Doors opened at 7 PM and by 8 PM most of the "on the rail" vacancies were gone (this was a sold out show so I'd consider this worst case). The rails which circle the dance floor and the balcony would be highly desired if you are drinking beverages because they have a flat service you can set you cup on. In addition it offers unobstructed views of the stage. The dance floor is large and I crouched pretending to be a 5' 6" person and I could easily see waist up of the performers (of course if you're standing behind the Boston Celtics you best move). Even the rail behind the sound station offered great views of the stage. The sound was good. A little muddy and this did not improve as i moved to a center position. It was not a distraction to the quality of the music. I've read reviews in which the workers were criticized. I can tell you we had nothing but courtesy and helpfulness from all the staff we encountered. The beer prices were better than expected. Perhaps they are cheaper in the "Guest" section. $8 for a Miller and $13 for a large Sierra Nevada. Tap water was free. The half point deduction: They may have oversold the "guest" section as the stairs became standing room areas and it made it more difficult to leave your spot and go to the bathroom or bar. Ticket prices ($100) and guest passes ($50) made this one of the more expensive concerts of the year (the quality of the show more than made up for this - of course this is relative to one's net worth :) ). Finally - the lighting and effects for the Maggie show were very well done. I did not expect this from a large "club" and not seen this at the HOBs. I was thoroughly impressed by nearly every aspect of this place and look forward to more visits in the future.

Yelp
Went here last night to see Kelsea Ballerini. First time at Roadrunner and was super impressed. I wasn't sure how I'd like standing general admission with no assigned seats, but it's such a small venue that no matter where you're standing (even if you're short like me) you can see. Everything is so nice and new on the inside, and they're very organized. No one scanned our tickets though, so that was kind of weird. Could have gone for free. KIDDING!!! They had a good selection of beverages and all the employees were were friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Great concert venue with fantastic acoustics - standing room only. Several parking garages are close by offering event parking so parking is fairly easy.

Kyle H.

Yelp
great building and staff, almost anywhere you are at (balcony, all the way at the back, or general admission) is a great view. one star off because when someone passed out it took about 3 minutes to get the attention of staff but after they were prepared and almost everyone who needed waters got it and if someone passed out they had it figured out quickly after

Kevin R.

Yelp
I just had a horrible customer service experience with Roadrunner. They misrepresented event information online and I ended up purchasing tickets to the wrong show. I realized this the next day and called immediately to see if I could get a refund, or transfer to the show I wanted to go to, or even get a credit. The rudely declined all options and said all sales are final. I go to a dozen shows a year as do a lot of my friends. I'll be sharing this story with them all. Poor form. Truly poor, poor form. Not a smart business model to disrespect and alienate your most loyal customers.
google avatar

Marissa E.

Yelp
My favorite live music venue. Big enough to attract good shows and small enough to feel intimate. It is standing room only and you are basically in a giant pit, but for me that adds to the concert experience! Bar is over priced but they offer lids for mixed drinks to avoid spills!

Yelp
Easily my new favorite venue in Boston. Not sure if it was the specific crowd (Chelsea Cutler), but everyone was SO polite and kind to each other. The vibes were fantastic, the best of any show I've ever been to. Bartenders, security, staff were all great. Everything moved efficiently and quickly, from getting in, getting drinks, bathrooms. The sound system was unbelievable. (but also very loud, definitely recommend earplugs) Plenty of nearby street parking when we went!

Quentin M.

Yelp
The sound of the electric hand dryers from the back restroom is so loud that the performer even commented on it multiple times and rolled his eyes during a quieter song: very poor design!

Yelp
Had a great time seeing "Goose" at the Roadrunner in Boston on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Nice area for a new music venue. Plenty of parking around & not too hard to get to. Roadrunner has everything you will need. 2 levels, good amount of bathrooms, friendly staff, lots of options at the bars and a big open space to enjoy the show. This one was Sold Out and most areas get packed in but if you don't mind being in the back some or off to the side you can get your elbow room. The sound is better in some areas than others but that's the deal with all music venues. Highly recommended, thank you to Roadrunner and of course Goose, see you again soon in San Diego.

Yelp
This venue is awful. It reminds me of a fancy new high school gymnasium/auditorium that nobody actually likes despite the number of focus groups and pta meetings it took to build it. But they book some good shows so I come. Last night I arrived for a concert and made my way through security. I put the contents of my pockets in a tray and stepped through the metal detectors. The girl looking through the bin held up my pre-roll, in its case, opens it and shows it to the security guy standing in front of me. Who in turn loudly plays for the audience, "Whoaooaa looks like someone brought the dispensary in with him. Am I right? Nah I'm just kidding with you dude but hey everybody SOMEone came straight from the dispensary! And brought the place with him! I'm just playin with ya." While people start to turn and watch the security guy make an actual scene because... I had half a joint in my pocket? At a concert? I'm sorry, what the actual fuck? If I'm not allowed to bring a joint into the show just politely tell me that and let me throw it out or walk back outside with it. Loudly mocking me in front of a crowd of strangers is not the way to go. I didn't even argue about anything, I literally just put my shit in the tray. Making a scene - going out of your way to draw other people's attention to a non-situation - just to shame me for the sin of... smoking before a concert and assuming I could bring it home after the show? Which I couldn't do... because security straight up confiscated the joint like the shitty high school this venue always reminds me of. (Even though weed isn't on their prohibited items list....)

Yelp
One of my favorite venues in Boston. Definitely gives the true concert experience vibe (first come first served on best views but that's not to say that you won't be able to see from anywhere you stand) Love the flexibility of moving between upper and lower levels Acoustics great. Overall facility great. Love the railings and small tables for standing on the upper levels Bathrooms are decently clean. The only reason I took a star away is because the venue is tough to get to without driving.

Yelp
I just went here for the first time, and it was a great little concert spot. The Roadrunner is general admission, so it's one large open floor divided into two tiers, which is nice, because you can hang in the back or off to the side and still see and hear everything. It wasn't overly crowded at the show I went to, so my friend I had plenty of space to move around. To get inside, you have to go through several checks: An ID check, a metal detector, and a bag check. However the staff moves you through quickly. The bar, although, expensive was never crowded. You could walk right up and get your drinks. The bathrooms were a little confusing. It just said, "bathroom," so I assumed they were all gender neutral but then they had a staff member stationed there pointing one way or the other so I don't know. I'm fine with gender neutral bathrooms but maybe Boston is still dragging their heels on committing to it. Overall we had a good experience, and I would definitely go see another concert there again.

Yelp
Big weird sterile listless box of a box. Devoid of any intrigue, character, or decor. Really quite the stupid lame major project, especially given the insanely inefficient and outrageous bottleneck for entry/exit, bit people AND vehicles. The idiots who developed this project really fucked up big on this one! Shit for cell signal, and the acoustics arent event good. Two stars cuz they do trick big acts into actually playing this dump. Figure it out.

Yelp
have only been here a couple times but i loved it. the setup was done thoughtfully as to how people would need to move around and theres so much space but youre still never too far from the stage

Yelp
I'm so glad I finally got to check out Roadrunner, the new venue that everyone's been talking about. I went this week with my boyfriend to see The Shins concert and had an excellent time. The venue was good-sized, and I appreciated that they didn't overpack it--it was definitely full, but we felt like we had plenty of space to maneuver around people. Acoustics were good, no issues there (puts the acoustics at the Agganis Arena to shame). The location is phenomenal in terms of access, it's so easy to get in/out before and after the show, and the parking garage is very close (massive step up from House of Blues or Leader Bank Pavilion in this regard)! I thought the bar, bathroom, and the merch stand were all accessible and well-oriented. Cons: - No re-entry... we bought memorabilia and then we weren't able to bring it back to our car. Super annoying. This isn't entirely surprising/unique though. - NO SERVICE OR WIFI. Ok, this is a problem. Not a single person that we talked to had cell service, and they don't offer any way to connect your phone to WiFi?! It's 2022, that's ridiculous. Luckily we were able to find each other again eventually after getting separated. I'm sure that's not always the case though. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I will definitely come back in the future, but ideally not until there's some way to connect to signal and/or wifi. How are you supposed to find the people you came with if someone goes to get a drink or uses the bathroom and can't find you? Or what if you are trying to meet up with friends when you get there? *Maybe* if you could leave the building to use your phone it would be alright, but since there's no re-entry, that's a no go. Not being able to reach people on your phone to coordinate is not good!

Yelp
Sound quality was not as good as I expected for a new venue. Wish they put money into the sound system. Considering i paid way too much for a ticket, most likely, I will try one more concert. If it still stinks, I will never return. Also, a major issue is NO FREE STANDING WATER. It would be in their best interest and a good business decision to have water fountains. It is better for people drinking and being drunk. Only CANNED water. Eww... every concert venue has FREE water. Great staff....

Yelp
I was there for Tegan and Sara 9/22. I wasn't loving the service fee and know they all do that. Seated tickets were rare, as it's mostly open area standing which I had never experienced. Some shows i canceled after seeing the total price. The sound is great, and I enjoyed the band plus Carlie Hanson who I wasn't familiar with. Setlist.com is a good tip to get an idea of which ones they play, with a link to videos. It's weird that the bathrooms are co-ed but I'm not in the age demographic. All in all I would go back.

Yelp
This place is so big. Plenty of close parking, and sound and views were great. All the staff were great, kind. The place is so clean, and well organized. No longer fighting Fenway traffic! Great idea.

Yelp
We attended the FKJ show at the Roadrunner - outstanding show and a truly nice venue. Plenty of bathrooms, very pleasant and helpful box office staff, security and bar staff. The sound system is off the hook and the sight lines are great. The only hiccup was a new staff member who specifically told us we could watch from an area on the balcony when we first arrived (right as the doors opened) but then changed her mind just as FKJ showed up on stage an hour plus later...after the place was packed. Everything was remedied by a wonderful box office worker who was very pro active, fair and redefined good customer service. We drove 4 hours to see the show and would absolutely go back to the Roadrunner in the future...if that box office worker hadn't intervened, this would have been a very different review. As stated elsewhere, you get zero phone service unless you stand at the window and even then it's sketchy, so getting an Uber set up can be tricky. That and the new staff (and her supervisor who offered no useful assistance) aside, it's a great place.

Yelp
Been to many shows and this venue ranks #1 in intensity of their pat downs and I gather 45% of the headliners attendees were outside not allowed re-entry. Sorry Clozzee... this venue stinks
