Halloween 2020: Where to Eat, Drink, and Dress Up in Detroit | Eater Detroit

"A family-friendly, COVID-conscious alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating, this park is hosting a Not-So Spooky Saturday on October 24 featuring a pumpkin patch, children’s music, spooky kids yoga, children’s stories, and candy bags as part of a socially distanced seasonal program." - Brenna Houck

My family went for a D.O.D event. It was on smaller side of event but it was Very clean indoors and outdoor seating area. It had rained a bit before we got there and staff were quick to wipe down tables and chairs for everyone to enjoy. Staff also quick to pick up any liter that people may have left behind. Overall is was a very pleasant experience. Will definitely return again next time I'm in Detroit👍🏽

This is a nice little asset to the city! There is a building with clean public restrooms, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of places to sit. There is no shortage of safety because there are quite a few on staff security guards. The walking trails are beautiful along the water. According to online data, the Riverwalk is 5.5 MI long. They have a giant chess game for playing outside, as well as a large Connect Four, playground equipment for the kids, and a sand court volleyball area for all to enjoy. Inside, there are tables and such with board games for kids and families to play. This was just an overall relaxing visit.

My favorite chill spot. Always safe and clean. I love that they have chairs near the water.

Came here for the first time for 313 Day. It was fun! Got to listen to local musical artists and poets and enjoy some great barbecue from Smokey G's. There was a playground and a volleyball court, and of course the beautiful view of the Canada from the Detroit Riverfront. When there aren't events, it's still a great place for biking or going on a simple stroll.

This is one of the best parks in the city. Has a parking lot close specifically for the park. Clean restrooms. Sitting area with adult beverages being served. Cool hill for sledding similar to innovation hills set up but they have the actual sledding disc here. Multiple xylophone type instruments. Cool unique set up. I just wish there was more actual play ground equipment. There was the giant connect 4 and football bowling.

Great place. I go there for my WeRun313 run club sessions. The restrooms and the facility are clean and well maintained. You can get to see some great views of the Canadian skyline from there
