"LA’s original outpost of the famous Bushwick pizza spot (there’s another in Studio City), Roberta’s is our favorite place to eat at Culver's upmarket mini-mall The Platform and a dependable option when you want natty wine and Neapolitan pies on a peaceful patio. The wood-fired pizzas with bubbly, blistered crusts are the best things here, but there are also solid cocktails and delicious (albeit pricey) salad-y dishes made with seasonal produce. Nobody is ever in a rush here, so plan on coming for a long lunch or post-work drinks with your coolest coworkers." - brant cox, sylvio martins, garrett snyder, cathy park
"Much like one of our best friends in the city (hey, Alessio), Roberta’s is an NYC-transplant that’s still just as good on the West Coast. The pizzeria has reopened their extensive patio at the Platform in Culver City, and serves thick-crusted, blistery pies topped with everything from big ol’ globs of mozzarella to spicy honey atop pepperoni. Finally, you can now eat their incredible “Bee Sting” pizza outside with an even better shot of getting stung by a real bee. Reservations can be made here." - kat hong
"This Brooklyn transplant actually reopened before their East Coast cousins, though they’re currently only accepting reservations for patio seating. That patio, however, is pretty nice - it spreads through the courtyard of Culver City’s Platform complex - and Roberta’s roster of pizzas (including the sweet-and-spicy Bee Sting and their savory, mega-cheesy Famous Original) is deep. Reservations here." - brett keating
"Brooklyn transplant Roberta’s is serving their excellent Neapolitan-style pies curbside via the Platform Drive-Through. They’ve got a bunch of our favorites, including the Bee Sting (spicy honey and salami) and the Famous Original (tomato, chili, three kinds of cheese), along with a new pie called the King Kong, involving Thai basil, lemon juice, Calabrian chilis, and toasted fennel seed. Order online, and follow the signs for the drive-thru once you’re there." - kat hong, brett keating
"LA’s outpost of the famous Brooklyn pizza spot, Roberta’s is an ideal way to end a long day of getting in arguments with your cat because you’re not used to spending so much time together. This Culver City spot serves tremendous wood-fired pizzas - the iconic Bee Sting (with soppressata, basil, chile, and honey) is excellent, as is the Cheesus Christ (mozzarella, taleggio, parm, black pepper, and cream). You can order delivery or pick-up on most apps, or through the online Platform Drive-Through, where you can also get food, groceries, and sundries from several of Roberta’s neighbors." - brett keating
