The 12 Best Late-Night Restaurants In Las Vegas

"Open: 24 hours You’re at that in-between point where you have an equal need for your bed and food. Roberto’s is the perfect place to stop by and get takeout to bring back to your mattress, because their burritos can stand up to a little travel time. But they also have lots of other options like quesadillas and chimichangas, that taste even better after being slathered in sour cream and salsa. There are a ton of locations around town, which means you’re usually never very far from one. " - milena difiore, gabe bergado

Roberto’s Taco Shop - Review - Southeast - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"You’re at that in-between point where you have an equal need for your bed and for food. Roberto’s is the perfect place to stop by and get takeout to bring back to your hotel, because the food is great and their burritos can stand up to a little travel time. There are also a ton of locations around town, which means you’re usually never very far from one. One thing you should definitely order and then eat immediately in the car, though, are the carne asada fries that we’ve considered taking to the next drive-through chapel, or at least serving at our wedding. Make sure you take advantage of the salsa bar before you leave and definitely don’t miss the escabeche." - Milena DiFiore

Google
It's not terrible, but it's not near as good as down the street. The tacos were sloppy, and the meat was just ok. Didn't like the fish taco or the sauce on it. Random people were arguing in there, so typical Vegas. The lady behind the counter was very sweet. I wish I had tried a burrito.

Google
I order the breakfast burrito and make it a combo! It’s delicious! I come in late night and I have to say that Reyna, behind the counter, is super friendly and comes out to the dining room often to wipe tables, etc. the place is spotless. The late night chef is nice too! He acknowledges the guests at the counter. For late night eats, this is one of my favorite spots. .

Google
The menudo was on the salty side but I just added a little water. Beef tacos dorado was good as well. Hits the spot late at night then a lot of places are closed

Google
Every time I'm in Las vegas, this is my go-to spot. Breakfast lunch and dinner ! It's all good, california burrito carne asada frieds. The chorizo steak egg and cheese Breakfast burrito. If your hungry in vegas on a budget these burritos will keep your stomach and wallet full!

Ana Sidavong

Google
My chicken burrito from Roberto's Taco Shop in Las Vegas was a huge disappointment. Instead of a traditional burrito, it was just dry shredded chicken with some onions and bell peppers. No sauce, no beans, no rice – nothing that makes a burrito good. It was horrible and definitely not what I'd call a traditional burrito. Avoid this one if you're looking for an actual burrito

Google
RIDICOULOUS EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE the tortillas were cold (we had dine in) and had placed a to go order as well. As we realized the tacos were no good, we requested an order change for the to go order and they hesitated to do so and refused a refund. Mind you they have a refund policy attached on the counter yet said our situation did not apply and claimed they had no manager or supervisor. They agreed to make the change to a burrito and once I requested a drink for the difference (6 dollars) the cashier texted ( I assume the manager that she claimed they didnt have) and had me wait like 10 minutes and gave me their smallest cup. Horrible horrible service. $70 dollars to the trash.

Google
Great food at great prices, open 24 hours a day. Nothing fancy, just consistently good Mexican favorites. The location is nothing special, just in a strip mall. But the food makes up for it. The breakfast burritos are quite generously sized. And the rolled tacos are apparently what put them on the map.

Google
been to this place years ago and went back yesterday for lunch,i had a torta roasted chicken and my wife hd the 2 big tacos and i was pleasantly surprised it was better than i remember,i will be back

Yelp
Came late at night since it's open 24 hours and got a carne asada burrito. I thought the prices were a bit high for most of their items. The restaurant smelled a bit and their salsa bar didn't look super sanitary. Overall the restaurant wasn't very nice but we took the food to go and the burrito was actually pretty good

Yelp
For being a late night taco shop I'm happy they take phone and online orders. However, if there any special instructions you make online they will not consider them and follow them. It may be better to call ahead. There's many items and the food is decent. The enchilada sauce was way too salty. Ask for it on the side. Happy they make the food fresh.

Buddy M.

Yelp
Usually love this place and eat here when we come to Vegas, but for the love of god if you door dash a $100 order the least you could do is send the red sauce which is one of the reasons I buy your food. Just bad service as you don't even answer the phone. Last time...
google avatar

Cristian R.

Yelp
An additional $1.25 for just having cheese on an order of carne asada fries? Shouldn't the $13.75 itself encompass EVERYTHING that the asada fries come with? The hell is wrong with the owner. On top of that this is the only Roberto's that I've been to in this city that does not take military discount. It's the same price everywhere else but they make extra by charging for cheese which should already be part of the meal, and not offering military discount when all Roberto's across Las Vegas offer it? Ridiculous.

Yelp
Food took way too long! Way over the 20 mins only one lady chef and one front person! The food was ok but I've had better carne asada seasoned. The fries were great but it lacked flavor! The guacamole was plain no spice not sure if it was homemade. Wouldn't come back! Plus I like my sour cream drizzled all over the. A clump on one side.

Yelp
Service: outstanding, idk what to order and they took there time explaining every item to me and didn't rush me to order Quality of product: busting, food so good, it has a unique authentic taste, very filling Price:$ Ambiance: they show Roberto and the history of his restaurant startup Overall, I would definitely go back, always

Yelp
Little joint off the strip and en route to the airport. Very very clean inside. Every counter and every floor. It smelled like it has been disinfected daily for a month . Prices are acceptable and portions are solid. Carnitas plate was tasty. Rice was well cooked and the carnitas had a nice crunch Burrito was good sized. I asked for sour cream (extra charge) and when I split i didn't see it. They said it was there but...whatever. Good flavor and just needed some salt. Quesadilla is made with cheddar cheese but was huge and melty. My kids loved it. Nice crispy tortilla but not burned. The flour tortillas that came with the carnitas were also delicious. I don't know if they make them in house or purchase them but they are a really nice texture. Chewy and have some flavor. Chips were very light and crispy. Also needed salt. So why the 4 stars? The guac was blah. It was so blended it looked like it came from a clear package in the grocery store. I like guac chunky. Like chipotle has. It was also blah on flavor. Even my 4 yo wasn't thrilled with it. They have a little salsa bar with red and green salsa. Good flavor and the red packs some heat. Also the nice picked veg. They were very good. Nice vinegar level and crunchy. I would for sure eat here again. Especially on a drunken night hahah.

Yelp
Fresh cooked rolled tacos. My spot when visiting from out of town. Service was great and the atmosphere was clean and organized. Not to mention the salsa bar. Everything was great

Yelp
I ordered a taco and getting it was slow as molasses since I was the only person there. Once I got my taco and went to sit down to eat it I nearly broke a tooth. The taco shell was the very hardest and inedible shell with barely anything in it. I went up to the counter and the woman refused to change it to something else as I asked for a soft taco at that point. The cashier clearly had a return policy sign on it though she fully refused to return my food and barely spoke English. Finally the cook in the back window stepped up after arguing and gave me a soft taco to put this measly food in it. I will contest my credit card bill once the price is posted. Awful service and awful food.

Yelp
El nuevo empleado muy amable ,pero la cocinera lo maltrato frente a los clientes Oscar , muy linda sonrisa, amabilidad, y su amabilidad muy buena

Yelp
We're from San Diego...Taco Shop Capital of the World...so naturally when we saw Roberto's in Vegas we knew we couldn't go wrong. Located in a nondescript strip mall, it was the busiest dining place out of the six. Needed a quick bite and settled on sharing an order of twelve rolled tacos with guacamole (came with a fountain drink) between the three of us. The food came out quickly and we grabbed some of the two hot sauces that were in the salsa bar. Rolled tacos were crisply fried and generously filled with juicy shredded beef. Covered in a tasty guacamole and heaped with shredded cheddar cheese, these rolled tacos hit the spot. We all preferred the green salsa over the red because of its excellent flavor. If you need someplace fast and dependable, Roberto's hits the spot.

Yelp
Overall, the experience was good but "mid". I ordered the Machaca burrito; the food was fine. I was concerned the peppers would be too greasy, but they weren't. Pricing was higher than I would've liked. From the ESG perspective, I was unhappy with the amount of styrofoam around the restaurant (cups, carryout boxes/plates).

Yelp
Alright look, I've never written a review like this before... but this had to be the worst meal I've ever had. I order a chicken burrito, a beef burrito, and a horchata. The horchata was okay... it wasn't that great, but it was passable as a refreshing drink. Now, let me just say that the chicken burrito is in no way shape or form edible food. I'm actually so sick writing this review I feel like puking everywhere. The "chicken" was so thick and dry. It didn't even look like chicken it looked like some sort of dog food or toy that I was chewing on. Nothing had flavor. Literally nothing. Absolutely disgusting. If I went to prison and was fed this, I would probably rather starve. Now, the beef burrito was slightly less dry and had a slight amount of flavor. However, it tasted horrible and also made me feel sick. Overall it was still a horrible burrito. It had chunks of fat in it as well and hard pieces like bone or something. I see that this place is a chain, and to be honest I don't really care. I will NEVER eat here again under any circumstances. I'll never eat at any locations. This is seriously the worst meal I've ever had in my entire life. If Roberto himself pulled a duffle bag of money out and tried to pay me to eat this trash I'd backhand him. Like idek what else to say. This is crazy these guys serve food like this. I bet a homeless person eats better. I wanna leave the country just because of this place. I feel depressed after eating here. Do yourselves a favor, unless you want to know what hell feels like, don't eat here.

Yelp
Roberto's is an old school taco shop that reflects its Southern California roots! Every bite is delicious. My personal favorites are the carne asada burrito and carne asada fries!

Lorissa S.

Yelp
The manudo i ordered was not bad. But the torta was 10% chicken and the rest was just avacadoe and lettuce between bread... im telling you every bite was sad... not worth at all
google avatar

Yelp
I work nearby and wanted to grab something quick for lunch to take back to the office, and I wasn't too hungry. I haven't been to a Roberto's in years and I was pleased that I went. I ordered the Rolled Tacos with Beef. The place is clean and inviting. The cashier was friendly and I got my order within minutes. I helped myself to some of the red sauce, which I like. There were 3 Rolled Beef Tacos topped with lettuce and cheese and were very tasty. Perfect quick lunch to grab and go, or dine in. Forgot to take a picture of my food! Open 24/7.

Yelp

Yelp
We had a recommendation from a Las Vegas native to go to one of these Mexican shops while visiting. We stopped here as it was close to where we were staying. The food was AWEFUL! I had order the 2 enchiladas with beef and ricem, beans. No flavor and they didnt' even put meat in the shells, only cheese. The flavor was so poor I couldn't eat it. My husband got the 3 tacos and the shells were so hard they tore up his mouth and again, flavor lacking....never again....Maybe it was just that location, but unhappy with the food and service. Not friendly either.

Yelp
I think I love Roberto's more than anyone as I go there at least twice a week tonight I went into this location at 11:15 and whoever was the cashier barely spoke. English. Had the orders all messed up. I was next in line and after 15 minutes of not taking my order, I gave up and left very frustrating Management you need to look into this check the cameras it's not a good person to have his cashier. Of course I'll be back because I love Roberto's but I failed.

Yelp
I'm actually shocked with the amount of stars this place has. I've been slightly hesitant to come, but it was one of the only places in the area open on NYE. We gave it a shot, and we were pretty blown away by how great everything was. I went with the carnitas plate, which came with a good portion of carnitas, rice, beans, guac, and toppings and your choice of flour or corn tortillas. I cannot tell you how happy I was with this!! You can hear them chopping up the carnitas in the kitchen. They come in small pieces with a lightly crisp outside. Sooo flavorful and filling. Some of the best carnitas I've had hands down! My hubby went with two orders of the three rolled tacos for $3.15. They were generously filled with chicken and fried perfectly to have a nice crunch. Don't forget to grab some aguas frescas to drink! Love Roberto's!!

Yelp
My first attempt of going here was a fail; it was right after a BTS concert and the lines were out of the door (at every restaurant nearby lol). We ended up not eating here. However, on my recent trip to Vegas my aunt wanted to get tacos from here because she's from San Diego and was feeling nostalgic. I ordered carne asada tacos - they were ok. The meat wasn't quality or anything, I also didn't care for the guac in my tacos. My aunt did the rolled tacos, she said they were ok. My uncle got the menudo and LOVED it. He says those are his favorite, he also got tacos as well. He said meh. I can see the hype if you're hungry and it's late, however its subpar quality food.
google avatar

E J.

Yelp
30m for an order they forgot about until I had to remind them. If you want to waste your time. Feel free to come here. Everything is slow.
google avatar

olivia h.

Yelp
I got a single carne asada taco with the guac on the side-- it was flavorful and filling. Definitely recommend!

Austin G.

Yelp
Food was super horrible and no meat with my order avoid this location as much as possible and I called back to let them know. Very disappointing

Yelp
Roberto's Taco Shop is a chain with locations all over Vegas. I think this location is grossly underrated, at least in my experience. The menu is extensive with pretty much whatever you might want: tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tortas, and numerous combination plates should you want rice and beans as part of your meal, along with some specials. The food is authentic and quite good, especially for the price. It's far from fancy; a lot of really good places aren't. It's hard to go wrong with the place. The drill is you order at the counter, and when they call your name, you take the tray to your table and chow down or get it to go and take it back to your hotel or home if you live nearby. There is plenty of comfortable indoor seating. This location is often a go to for lunch when staying at the Virgin Hotel (formerly Hard Rock Hotel). It's right across the street from the Virgin, so it's super convenient for lunch. Sometimes, it's effectively breakfast for me at noon or so, to be honest. It is Vegas after all. I will say the neighborhood is not the best. Having said that, we've never had a problem over the course of numerous visits. Bottom line: For me, it is the best authentic Mexican food in the area.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Had a meeting down the street, was early, so stopped in for a bite. Like cool drive thru, inside Covid style only one two top. Breakfast burritos legit. Asked for lengua in the morning, was pricy at $9.25 , where the other one we got potato was $5.25. Salsa roja is spicy hot yes love it. Salsa verde is cool refreshing. Aqua Fresca guava for breakfast kicks off the day!
google avatar

Heather H.

Yelp
This place sells some of the worst "Mexican food" I've ever tasted. For starters, the tamale we ordered was hard as a rock, and I'm amazed that they had the audacity to actually serve it to anyone. Their tortilla chips were cold and stale, our enchiladas and chicken tacos were watery and tasteless, and the chimichanga was extremely soggy. Seriously, to actually call this place a Mexican restaurant would be a disservice to Mexican restaurants everywhere. Huge waste of $. (Their rice & beans tasted okay, though.)
google avatar

Maria K.

Yelp
Open 24/7 great Mexican food for good prices. Some days have taco specials. Agua frescas are also good!
google avatar

Hassan W.

Yelp
The service here is horrible. I would not visit this place. I ordered a shrimp burrito and what told that it cost $5.00 to add cheese. Most places charge a max of like $2.00 but are u giving me the whole bag for $5. This place overpriced for no reason.
google avatar

Christie G.

Yelp
Food was unflavored and awful. We ordered a wet bean and cheese burrito and they put little to no beans inside the burrito (see photo). We also ordered rolled tacos with guacamole on the side and they completely left off the guacamole on the side. The chicken chimichunga was okay. Unless you are desperate I would go to a better Mexican restaurant for your fix.
google avatar

Alex E.

Yelp
This local chain offers excellent fast food in a clean dining area. If they served identical food, but changed the venue to a more traditional sit-down restaurant (with waitstaff, ceramic plates, metal cutlery, etc. - you know, a regular Mexican restaurant), I wouldn't hesitate to pay $10 more. I will absolutely, positively return to Roberto's Taco Shop.
google avatar

Kimberly K.

Yelp
Oh Roberto's I'm so glad you are here for us late night wayward souls who are living on the edge of degenerate gambling and intense carb cravings. When the midnight nacho craving hit you answered the call. Loaded nachos layered with carne asada, sautéed onions and peppers, cheese and more cheese, guac, sour cream, and pico. The place was packed at midnight and they were cranking out orders quickly. Delicious, piping hot Mexican food never tasted so good.
google avatar

Alisha B.

Yelp
Customer service is good. The food was delicious. Their portions were big. I ordered carna Asada nachos, chicken quesadilla, and a machaca burrito. The burrito was on the smaller side but it was packed tight. Somebody is a pro a rolling up burritos.... haha. We'll be back. Thank you!
google avatar

saint k.

Yelp
the service was slow. the ambiance is cold. the food ?? just bc you're open 24/7 does not mean there is some glass understanding of trash food. the fish taste old. the rice dry and undercooked.

Jesse R.

Yelp
Terrible service. Asked for extra salsa, received zero salsas. When I called the manager blew me off, will not return.

Cynthia P.

Yelp
This is a very small fact food joint located in the cut. Not pleasing to eye when you walk in but the customer service and food was really good. We had the chicken which on Thursday (taco Thursday) was the special at $1.69. They were really good. We also had the Carne Asada steak loaded, and that dish was so good and filling. It was enough to feed 2 people. It was about 8pm when we stopped in. The ambiance was like a whole in the wall with good food at an affordable price. Will definitely recommend and will visit again.
google avatar

Cherry O.

Yelp
I ordered the adobada chimichanga and wow this thing is huge. Very tasty! Make sure to ask for the carrots and peppers. So good. I didn't know they offered this until I heard a gentleman ahead of me ask for it. So glad I did.

Daniel M.

Yelp
As a long time customer of Roberto's in San Diego... Going back to the early 80s ... I was excited to see one in Las Vegas, as I do not live in San Diego anymore. Incredibly terrible experience. Some of the Food was mediocre at best, some was edible or basically so bad it wasn't for the eating. That was not the worst thing. The guy working the counter that took our order ... screwed up our order. When we got our food, and pointed out that he completely got one of our main items wrong... he started arguing with me. I was polite in my conversation to him. He was an absolute jerk. The burrito that he incorrectly put into the register, and that they made, was one I would never ever order. So there was no way I accidentally ordered wrong. Because I don't like that item there ... plus my friend heard me order. The jerk at the register then proceeded to tell me what I ordered, pulled out his copy of the ticket... Showing me what was on there. Which proved nothing. I said, with all due respect "you put the order incorrectly, I would never order that" He then even more rudely then told me again that I was wrong. I ended up attempting to eat the burrito, it was inedible ... tough, dry, flavorless carne asada... just terrible. Neither myself nor my friend even ate half of our food, and just threw it away... What a waste. So ... the food is bad, and the guy at the register is a jerk, the service is terrible ... Just so you know who he is, he's a young Latin guy with a neck tattoo. We got to watch him treat other customers poorly as well. He should not have any contact with the public at all. Ever Very disappointing, as I always have had great experiences at San Diego. Seven. Stay at the Virgin Hotel Rite in New. Bye, probably, along with many of my friends and coworkers that I'm there with. I will do all of them to avoid this place like the plague. I will make sure to let all my friends and coworkers that I am with in Las Vegas several times a year to avoid this place as well.
google avatar

Rick G.

Yelp
I was in there last night to pick up an Uber Eats order. Terrible, terrible service by the woman working the register. After hearing her telling other customers to be patient, "or place their orders earlier," when asking about delays, after a 25-minute wait, myself, she provided a 16 oz bottle of Pepsi, when the order was for a 32-oz cup from the fountain. When I pointed out the discrepancy, she rudely said "well, OK I'll go get it myself..." she then proceeded around the counter to the dispensing machine to fill a cup. This was something I would gladly have done myself, had she simply handed me an empty cup with the top and straw. The service despite the long wait, would have been acceptable. But, she chose otherwise. And when I pointed out, all I was trying to do was fulfill the order, per the customers wishes (who had noted previous discrepancies in their order notes), she mumbled incoherently and finished by saying, I won't say anything more." Heaven forbid, the customer would get what they ordered, and paid for... 32 ounces of Pepsi versus 16 ounces. Her behavior was totally uncalled for, and unprovoked. I noted there were a number of unhappy customers during my observations. How unfortunate that a company like Roberto's would have front counter employees with such total disregard for their customers.
google avatar

Jon S.

Yelp
The carne asada was so tough, chewy and salty it was completely inedible. I could not get it down
google avatar

Tracey W.

Yelp
It's hard to go wrong at a Roberto's but I really like the chefs and staff at this location. The food and service are always consistently good. My favorite is the Carne Asada Taco. However, I also really like their Tamales that come smothered in sauce with melted cheese on top top instead of wrapped and dry. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is their seating area isn't the most comfortable or stylishly decorated but it's a clean, straightforward and to the point dining experience.
google avatar

Cesar Uriel F.

Yelp
If I could give a review 0 stars I would. I was visiting from LA and me and my friend were really craving a late night burrito. We find this place and it's pretty busy. We place our order and all of a sudden one of the cooks walks out.. like he literally just walked out the restaurant. The other customers were surprised. Finally my food was done and we drove back to the hotel to eat there. WORST BURRITO I HAVE EVER HAD. IT WAS ALMOST NOT EDIBLE. What was wrong with it is that it was sooo salty. Like so so so so salty. I couldn't even taste anything else but the salt. I would not recommend this place. Worst experience at a Taco place in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Gotta say that it's Good food and decent prices. Wednesday taco special is awesome. They were very generous with the food portions!

Yelp
This place is bomb!! No line fresh tortillas good music from the kitchen staff and friendly environment

Yelp
We took Ubers twice during our stay in Vegas. Carne Asada nachos were delicious and huge! Also the carrots at the salsa bar, yum! Great service! If we came back to Vegas we would definitely eat here again.
google avatar

Sonya M.

Yelp
We stopped in late one night for some burritos and tacos. The place was packed with people from every walk of life. There seemed to be a lot of locals there so I took that as a good sign. I mistakenly assumed that the food would be really good. Meh. The tacos were just okay. I ordered two steak tacos with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. The tacos were huge and it seemed like they were just thrown together. The tacos were soggy and tasteless. They were just okay. Nothing special and not all that great if I'm being honest. My brother ordered a burrito which he liked, but he's not picky. He'll pretty much eat anything. On top of that the wait was really long. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes for our food which was very annoying. I get it was crowded, but 20 minutes felt excessive for a fast food joint. After I'd eaten the food I wished we'd gone elsewhere. Go to Paradise Catina instead. It's across the street from Roberto's. The food and service are AMAZING.
google avatar

Ray B.

Yelp
I been coming here for many years and they have the best machaca! I always crave this when I am in Las Vegas as back in TX we don't have this. I have this for breakfast and I am pretty much set for the day. So if your in Las Vegas and want some good food try this place out! You won't be disappointed. I know I will be back here again!
