Asked for veggie burrito + beef, gave me a veggie burrito and STILL charged me the extra $3. Never again

The atmosphere was nice and the overall customer service was good, but the food was upsetting. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the whole thing fell apart every time I tried to pick it up because of how wet it was. I didn't understand why it was so wet in the first place. It was literally dripping juice and oil everywhere. So I asked for it to be re-made or for a refund and at first the lady at the register was saying it was nothing she could do, but then she decided to go ahead and give me my refund. I also ordered the side of beans, which were cold and could tell they came straight out of a can. I decided not to make a big deal and just took the partial refund and left. The lady at the register wasn't rude to me so that's why I gave at least 3 stars. But I won't eat here again because of the food, not the service. The service was good, food was not worth it.

Ehh it’s always poor customer service here. This is the last time I will visit. They were out of water cups and wouldn’t give a different cup to have water with. I’m never coming back to a Roberto’s taco shop. The food is mediocre and customer service is always poor. Next time you guys are out of water cups, you give a customer a bigger cup since they just ordered food from you, and you fill it with water. Done. Until management get’s their act together and get’s more water cups, this is proper customer service. Don’t come here if you’re reading this. There’s way better Mexican food spots around here.

Food was cold. The tortilla on the burrito didn't look like it was heated up at all. Just a cold tortilla out the bag with the cold fillings.

Here at title max we preferred Isidro’s cooking .!! Excellent service cashiers well expect a face lol .!! Anyways but the food and quality just perfect just because we are picky eaters .!!

Food is always days old the very few times I gave this place a chance I got sick 🤢. The only thing I can keep in my stomach from this place is the carne asada fries. Other than that I do not recommend.

Charging for salsa. Happy to get your order wrong. General greed and poor quality/ bad attitude like all the other Mexican restaurants that turned American.

Always check your food. And the new cashier told me I was rude for throwing my receipt on the floor of my car. And told me that I was rude since I got to the window. Which she asked what I ordered. And I answered her. The manager speaks no english. Which makes getting the food fixed a big problem.

I go to get the chicken tacos today- I order 4 with NO LETTUCE- I said NO LETTUCE 3 times. I asked for extra cheese. The order is given to me in the drive-through- the receipt charged me 5.00$ for EXTRA cheese and said NO LETTUCE. When I get back to work- EVERY SINGLE TACO HAD LETTUCE and barley any chicken. I am not sure if you think it is funny or just don't care to listen. But if you're going to charge me 5$ for extra cheese on 4 tacos- then at least don't put any lettuce on in the tacos.. in which the RECEIPT said no lettuce. very disappointed as this is NOT the first time that you have messed up my order.

This is near my work and it's convenient that this location has a drive thru. I get food at least once or twice a week, for lunch or dinner. The drive thru person is always nice and smiling. My favorite here is #4 combo- crispy tacos with chicken or beef. So delicious with rice and beans & green salsa.

Now the reviews may say 2.1 but this place is amazing especially it's carna asada fries

Its sad that the prices have gone up and you get less food. I ordered a carne asada burito and we got home it was luke wsrm pretty upset but i was hungry

This Roberto's is allegedly 24 hours and I drove up at 11:55 pm to order some food after work. The woman at the drive thru told me they are no longer accepting orders. Don't say you're open 24 hours when it's NOT TRUE.

Ordered Carne asada fries. , asked for cheese to be melted . Cheese was tossed on and not melted. I asked them again and was told , how do you melt the cheese? $16 condiment bar was dirty every pan had debris inside, lids and cups for portions in the salsas, no jalapeños, no onion disgusting mess. Actually, I took food home only to find foul tasting meat and smell was inedible. Will bring it back and update the reply.. Used to be OK, but now it's terrible Health department needs to review this spot

This place is trash the employees do not care about making anything fresh. I ordered Carne Asada fries extra crispy fries and we'll done meat. They gave me Carne Asada fries with under Cooked fries looked old like they were left in cold oil and the meat was not well done. I am 100% sure they gave me some old carne asada fries they had that they messed up on and just put fresh topping of cheese with sour cream. I ordered it at 6:03am

Everytime I go the food gets worse and worse. Only b time my food is good and hot is when it's busy. Bad customer service too

I'm very pleased to say this location has Extremely improved! I've visited 3X already this year, and I'm truly impressed. I'm not Mexican? But I really apprecitate this food. My Mexican roommate does not like this food, cos it's more like New Mexico style Mexican, and not "authentic" to her? But, from the cashier that takes your order, to the relaxed and quiet atmosphere! The food has been greatly improved and the quality. This time I ordered their fish taco daily Special with their rice and refried beans $8.65..Wow! Fish tacos like this, I've only had at the El Super Grocery store on Decatur, but they stopped making them? So now this is my Go To place for Fish Tacos! The plate only has 1 taco, but it's so good and a generous portion. I ordered it with an extra taco, but big mistake cos they add $4.70 to the bill? So, the next time I'll be happy with just one! The beans are served piping hot as they clearly use the Peruvian beans, and not the Pintos? Which is a plus for me, cos they're creamier and soooo smooth! They top them off with thinly shredded cheddar cheese, all melty! And the rice..well they're very consistent with their rice it's always tender and well cooked and the flavor is on spot! Some of these Taco shops make the yukkiest rice that's not well cooked throughout? This location is exactly what I look for, "Consistancy" that's what keeps me coming back again & again! Highly recommend and it's nice to eat inside. It has very clean & pleasant in it's surroundings. (It sure beats ordering in the Drive thru, cos Mexican food gets all soggy in the steam, and that's not very appealing?) They did do some remodeling a few years back, so it looks like the Franchise owner has really put some good effort into all around improving this place! You go, Roberto's Tacos!

If I could give zero I would. Roberto's is ROBBING people. 6.45 for ONE beef tongue taco! I wouldn't complain if it was worth the money but it's NOT. My tacos were very over cooked, the meat was rubbery and anyone that eats beef tongue knows it shouldn't be rubbery or tough. Not only was it over cooked but I really doubt it was freshly made to begin with. I've never been so disappointed and shocked at what I paid to get this.

a las 5:30 pm del día sábado ordené menudo y ya no tenían siendo apenas las 5pm cuando solo venden fin de semana. Decidi ordenar un burrito california las papas estaban crudas y llenas de aceite con un sabor horrible. Pesima comida de este Robertos no lo recomiendo.

Terrible service from the clerk with a Bad attitude and you can tell she hates her job, inside the establishment it can be more clean. Food did not meet my minor expectations at all .

not 24 hours the lady was talking for ten min after she took the payment and then they looked over three times to say that it is closed

I ordered a carne asada burrito and this has to be the smallest burrito I've ever seen served at Roberto's. Mind u of the up charge they've added for carne asada due to increased prices on meat products. So not only are they charging u extra money for the meat but they've also decreased the amount of meat that they add to ur items. Smfh. In the future I will take the extra 5 min drive and go to the Roberto's further from me to to be satisfied with my meal. This is really sad that they've gotten so greedy with there food. They use to be one of my favorite fast food restaurants not anymore.

A terrible experience! I ordered a carne asada breakfast burrito in the drive-thru. Gave me the wrong burrito at first. Then, gave me the right burrito but with green sauce spilled all over the burrito and bag. It was a disgusting mess. I didn't ask for any sauce!! The burrito was gross. I ordered it with xtra cheese but there wasn't any cheese on it and it was 95% potatoes! I will not be back!

My family and I were on our way going home to the Bay Area. Long drive! My sister wanted to try this place out. I remember it was 6am and we wanted to grab food before we head out to go home. I looked at the drive thru menu and noticed there was only ONE breakfast item. The breakfast burrito. I love breakfast so I had to try it. The rest of my family got burritos and tacos and other things I don't remember. Breakfast burrito wasn't huge which was good. I would not have been able to finish it had it been extremely large. It was ok. Nothing special about it. The worst part was the filling was very watery. It was dripping. A lot. The tortilla couldn't hold it, so my burrito ended up breaking apart. Needless to say, I didn't want to eat the rest of it. What a waste! I gave it 2 stars because customer service wasn't bad. The lady at the drive thru was nice and patient. I would come back to try their other items. Never the breakfast burrito again!

This location will literally never give you jalapenos. They got me this time when they gave me a bag, said they were out of carrots and when I opened the bag it was full of limes. Y'all slick as hell.. Just give me some jalapenos bro...

Horrible. Beans were dry and tasted like canned refried beans. Burrito was dry like the Atacama desert. The carne asada had no flavor and had a weird fishy smell. The place itself wasn't bad. Honestly, this is not authentic "real" Mexican food. Do not come here unless you want to lose your appetite and money.

06/06/2021 5:30pm I went through drive thru and it took longer than 30mins when there was only 3 cars ahead of me and also the people that take your order are very rude and dry, no thanks no nothing! Lady also said they have no cucumbers, no carrots, no nothing. Worst place ever never coming back!!! I took a bite of the 3 chicken tacos I ordered and it was like bitting a rock!!! Really bad food here! Guadalupe is the lady that took my order.

If I could put zero stars I would. Carnitas is dry as the cardboard and they are extremely stingy with the meat. My burrito resembled a flauta. Awful place stay away.

This place is crazy crazy crazy good! My car broke down and my tow truck driver recommended it, I know totally random right! However they don't have this in Reno... Where I'm from. I was literally driving along saw the sign and turned in. To be honest with you it's not really someplace I would normally turn into or would going to eat because it's kind of in a bad neighborhood and it doesn't look like it would be one of my favorite spots from the outside. I pulled up to the window and gave my order to the woman in the drive-through. She was nice enough, nothing to really write home about. When they handed me my bag of food I swear it weighed about a pound and a half. I was NOT EXPECTING THAT! I ordered a beef burrito... Nothing fancy no extras and no subtractions. It came with a few napkins fresh red sauce and fresh green sauce. This thing was the most amazing Barito I literally have ever eaten in my life! The tortilla was fresh in the meet was fresh there was no fat in it it was layered and layered and layered with flavor there wasn't too much beans and rice and all of that filler. This order exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. I would drive all the way across town just to see what else they have to offer! Awesome!! And QUICK!

They can never get the order correct, always attitude and it feels like the employees hate their job...Sad!!! The Roberto's on Bicentennial in Inspirada is trash....Unfortunately I now have to go elsewhere for breakfast. Make sure you always check your food, more times than not your order will be wrong ...... PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I ordered from here by Uber Eats and once food was delivered the drinks were missing. I called Robertos and they forgot to give to driver. I tell them well how am I supposed to get the drinks as I'm not able to get a ride there. They said hold on, left me on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up. I tried calling back several times and phone was busy.... after so long, the phone starts to ring again and they didn't answer until after I called back 5 more times (it hung up after about 10 rings) The lady answers and I tell her she left me on hold and she says "Oh". I asked what about my drinks and she says well you just need to get free drinks next time I order. I said no, I want my money back if they can't deliver them. She puts me on hold again and finally comes back and says I need to get a refund from Uber. WHAT??!!! VERY BAD SERVICE!! DO NOT GO TO THIS ROBERTOS FOLKS!!

I used to eat here before becoming vegetarian, and later vegan so I wanted to reach out to corporate and ask if anything offered was vegan friendly. Sadly, Roberto's doesn't serve anything vegan friendly. They didn't comment on the salsa bar but I would assume that those things may be safe for vegans and vegetarians.

Carne asada fríes the best .!! Worth the $15 every single bite .!! Place is clean, most definitely coming next time just a reminder don't arrive at 11:50 pm cause of change of shift other than that is just perfect .!!

This location is iffy... It's a hit or miss... Roberto's is decent food but like I said a hit or miss. Last year I was going to write a review about the service and go into detail about how poor it was. Then they got new people and it became better. Lately it's been GREAT service but the quality of the food has adjusted. My "go to" when I come to Roberto's is either: the Chile relleno burrito, breakfast burrito, carne asada fries, shredded beef chimichanga or the carne asada quesadilla. The only one they haven't fucked up (yet... lol) is the quesadilla... if that goes to shits I might have to make a trip to the one on Lamb Haha... Anyway... their portions have gotten smaller. Maybe they're trying to cut portion costs? Who knows but they've gotten smaller. My biggest thing that's been bugging me, why I decided to write this review (and most likely who would actually read a Roberto's review but why not) The Chile relleno burrito. The pepper hasn't been cleaned out properly. They take the stem off but the inside still has A SHIT LOAD OF SEEDS. That's about it...

If I could give a negative 5 rating, I would give this place a negative 10. There were no customers, I was at the drive thru, the female employee told me to wait. I Was waiting for about 10 min, so I went inside to order and saw that the female employee and the other two male employees were chatting it up laughing and having a good time. I walked up to her and asked if I can order, she told me to "wait" again! Like wtf no customers or anything, she turned around and finished her text that she was sending. I clearly said "no thank you" and left. Worst f*** experience. No more will I go to another Robertos.

I came and when I was orderin the cashier wasnt paying attention so I had to repeat my order 4 times until she got it. I ordered an asada torta for me and an order of flautas for my daughter and I ask the cashier to put lettuce and sour cream but not cheesse, and she said the flautas did not come with nothing else but the flautas themself and that I was going to be charged if I wanted lettuce and sourcream. WTH. Plus my torta was burned! .

Good: Dining area was very clean. Bad: Close this place down. The soda didn't have seltzer. The ice machine didn't have ice. When the food arrived, it looked liked it was pre-prepared for expediency. It's not like people were knocking each other down to eat here. Skimpy on the cheese for the carme azada quesadilla and it was not cut and very dry. Save your money. Go else where.

DO NOT EAT HERE, they mess up ur order and do nothing about it.my entire order was wrong i thought it was a prank but it was real!! i ordered a carne asada burrito (they gave me shredded beef) and charged me for carne asada. i ordered agua de piña they gave me horchata? i ordered a PLAIN quesadilla they put everything on it. after telling them multiple times please plain. mind u iv been in the drive thru for 30 min. when i get home and notice everything wrong i call the store and the "cook" says well u can cook it urself.. and hangsup. the food is trash they are trash and prices are sky high and now u gotta pay extra dollar for cilantro and onion on a burrito that SHOULD ALREADY HAVE IT. they had no limes, no salsa, no napkins, and the cherry on top is its 5;30 in the morning and im writing this review on the toilet cause the food made me so sick i cant stop going diarreah. NEVER AGAIN with this ghetto ass robertos.

Well i usually dont do bad reviews but i feel i needed to save someone from a future bad food mistake. this is the first and last time ill will eat at this location. i ordered a carne asada breakfast burrito. cashier wasnt very friendly as i tried light humor while i waited for my food. when burrito finally came size was very small, almost 50 percent smaller compared to their competitors felipitos. Burrito was bland at best and first two bites were all tortilla. i was actually surprised because their rainbow location makes some amazingly tasty ones. salsa was alright probably best thing they have on the menu. which isnt saying much. im going to put a side by side comparison ao you can see the difference yourself. felipitos is on the left. And no i dont work for them i just love their burritos something fierce. I know this may seem completely biased review but after going through my phone i couldnt even find a robertos picture of past burritos. Why because it wasnt a very memorable experience. Very dissapointing because robertos used to be my go to late night spot.

I have recently started eating at Roberto's regularly. I love the food and the quantities are humongous. The people for the most part are friendly and helpful. My favorite dish used to be the chorizo burrito, but now I enjoy the mixed burrito with red sauce. I have eaten over a quarter of the menu and have no complaints. The food is tasty and filling. Truly a Las Vegas experience.

Asked for a bean and cheese burrito WITH chicken for my fiancé and they gave me just a tortilla with chicken in it,.. smh I drive all the way back for them to say they can't do anything about it.

Everyone always raves about how awesome Roberto's is because it's great "drunk food" and it's open 24 hours...but that's about as much as they have going for them. Prices are decent, but food is also JUST decent, enough to get you sober to drive home after a long night but certainly not something I'd crave on a regular day. Also they were cleaning the bathrooms with a whole lot of Fabuloso and it did not make me feel fabulous at all! I wanted to puke! I just couldn't eat a burrito and smell that at the same time. We took our food outside and ate it in the parking lot. :(

The food was so bad. the red and green sauce has no taste except from the fact that it was spicy. I ordered a beef burrito and I literally just got a fat burrito with ONLY beef and the beef was so dry and tasteless and there was WAYYY TOO MUCH BEEF. I was so excited for some mexican food but it ruined my night because of how disappointed i was in the first bite.

Came in this morning ordered 3 breakfast burritos should have called it egg shell burritos.come on how do you not see a half of a egg shell

I like Roberto's but the lady at night here never gets my order correct then I come up the the window and it's my fault that you got my order wrong come on.

Worst location in town. Several bad experiences here, but tonight was the worst. After ordering and not getting a total, I pulled up to the window to pay- several people came and left inside. The cashier even came to the window register at one point, and after looking at me, put money in a letter envelope and then walked away. After over 10 minutes at the window without even an acknowledgment, my lunch was over and I had to leave without any food. At least I didn't have a chance to pay, I suppose. But definitely won't be going back to this location.

Bring a movie on your phone because you're gonna wait a half hour or more for your food. They don't say hello, good morning, thank you, come again, or anything else other than extend their hand to tell you the price. Really bad service! Food isn't even that good. They're actually charging $7 for a breakfast burrito! What has this world come to!

I want to start off by saying I can't judge nor comment on anyone elses review, however I will advise anyone thinking of eating at this paticular location to get your food to go. There are constanly people around this location that look suspicious. The trash bins and bathrooms were or perhaps still are filled with graffiti. I had the $0.99 chicken tacos, and they were atrocious. They mask some horrible food with cheap prices. If you go to the location on Durango, the tacos taste fresh and crunchy not stale and flavorless. My friend ended up getting a carne asada burrito and was on point so maybe the next time I come in the food will be better and the restaurant will look cleaner. The staff was pretty much on point but that can't compensate for bad food. I speak fluent spanish so communication is not a problem. Maybe next time Roberto.

I came here on August 31st, my husband ordered three tacos, and we decided to eat there. There was no one else in the joint, and we waited about 5 minutes. The tacos came, and my husband tells me he ordered them soft, so I told him I would go and return them. I told the girl who was working and she said "he didn't say soft" I was taken aback so I told her if that was the case I would pay extra for giving us soft tacos. I think I was very nice. She then says " if I do that, I'll throw those ones out" so I say " so I'm stuck with these." Which she turns around and starts talking with her crew. What makes this worse is I contacted the company with no response. It's one thing to have a rude crew, it's another for a company not to care. Terrible, I should of read all the reviews first.

Ok, let me tell you this: ANYBODY WHO RATED THIS PLACE 5 STARS COULD NOT HAVE EATEN AT AN AUTHENTIC TAQUERIA...EVER. Because if they did, they would have easily ripped this place. I mean, c'mon, they throw some so-so carne or what they call carnitas into a tortilla, throw a pinch of cilantro & spoon a little guac and call that a taco? The carne asada was salty and I've made better carnitas in the oven. They didn't even use the "real" chico tortillas and they were single, not doubled up, like every other taqueria I've ever been to in my whole life! The salsa bar was ehhh ok...I guess...But I just couldn't get over how half assed their tacos were. For a place that calls themselves a "Taco shop", I expected a helluvalot more. I guess it's cool that they're open 24 hrs, if you can't think of anywhere else to eat...At least the coconut paleta was good...

Worse customer service ever! Went in on 4/22/18 morning through the drive thru since they always get my order wrong I made myself very clear to state I want CHICkEN enchiladas and two bags of carrots and 2 drinks, when I pick up my order there's no bags of carrots, I was given only one bag of carrots asked I can pay for the 2nd one and was told by employee "Aurora" "NO". There was also no drinks and when I arrived home my enchiladas where not chicken, they where cheese, when I went to return my order inside the store, employee Aurora instead of apologizing to me she was actually arguing with me. Horrible place!!!

Don't come here. They literally are stingy as fuck with everything. You ask for your meat extra cooked? They don't do it. You ask for 8 red salsas they only give you 4 and when you get home and call to ask why only 4 they say they can only give a certain amount per burrito. That's the first time I've ever heard of a Mexican shop limiting their salsa even when a customer asks for a specific amount. The staff is rude and I can only imagine management. This was my first time here and definitely my last at this location. The other Roberto's taco shop do actually Cook you meat well done and give you what you ask for. But I can truly say this was the worst!!!! Pase a noche hoy a las 3 de la manana y agarre dos burritos. Le pedi a la senora para 8 roja salsas y limones y le dije claramente tambien que me puede quitar las verdes. Llego a casa y nomas me dio 4 Rojas salsas para dos grandes burritos. Llamo y me dice que regrese y me da las otra 4 y le dije que yo claramente le dije que queria 8. Ella me dijo que nomas podian dar poquita salsas por burrito y que nomas me dio 4 porque si manager estaba ahi. Yo le dije que si queria las me Iban a cobrar? Estaba de muy mal humor y este es el primer lugar que nomas dan poquita salsa por burrito. No regresen aqui o vayan aqui por lo menos a este Roberto's porque en Los Otros hacen todo bien. Pedi la carne extra cocinada y dorada y salio basicamente cruda la carne, y eso que tenia poca carne. Los otros robertos si Doran la carne bien y hacen las cosas mejor.

Well after eating so many times at this place I decided to finally write a review. The good: I usually go to this Robertos for a late night snack, trough the drive thru and order the Carne Asada Fries, more bang for your buck, with taxes it comes out to $8.63. Now i'm a picky eater so I only get the fries, Carne Asada, and the cheese. It always taste great and the people working the drive trough are always courteous. The bad: The only thing i periodically dislike is that I don't think they have a set standard of how much stuff they put on your plate/container. Usually I'll get lucky and get great amounts of Carne Asada, Cheese and Fries. A couple of times though the guy making them (it's always a guy) gives me good amounts of beef but will skimp out on the fries and the Cheese. I llike my cheese! lol. The ugly: I think the owner is hella (west coast slang there) cheap. Since we started visiting this Robertos, the drive true speaker has been broken. You usually can't understand the person taking the order, and many times the person taking the order has told us to drive directly to the window were you pay to take our order. I think I've visited 15 times this year, and it still hasn't been fixed. Also I dislike the whole " pay one extra dollar to use a debit/credit card" their website says they have 65 locations total, I think they can go without that extra "one dollar fee/surcharge" I would have given the "taco shop" a five if it wasn't for the chepness and the irregularity of the carne asada to cheese to fries ratio. The taste of the food and the service does give them a solid 4 in my book. I still recommend this place.

The beauty of Roberto's is that if you are driving home from the strip at 3am, it is virtually impossible NOT to find one at that hour. They are everywhere: old Taco Bells, strip malls, gas stations, etc. In every direction of the compass. There must be like twenty five in Vegas. Roberto's is like a Bail Bondsman-- he keeps you out of jail for DUI!

I recently heard the expression "sex on a plate" as someone described a meal. Now I know what they mean! After reading up on the reviews of this place, I decided I was missing out. I WAS! I had a beef enchilada and a cheese enchilada to go. I don't know what kinda cheese they use but there was plenty on each one. The beef is marinated so well. Their enchilada sauce is just so BOMB! My roommate got a carne asada burrito and said it was excellent. So I will definitely go back. Only downside here is a little pricey, but honestly it's worth it.
