Roberto's Taco Shop

When it comes to restaurants, one must always start with service. No matter how good the food is, in my opinion, bad service negates everything. At Roberto's Taco shop, I not only found bad service, but also found very mediocre food. When I approached the counter in the middle of the afternoon in a busy food court area, there was nobody there. Not sure where they had run off to, but when they return, they did not look happy to see me, or any customers. When I received my food, it was almost flavorless. Pretty hard to do when making a breakfast burrito. It kind of is what it is and the salsa or pico de gallo gives it its burst of flavor. This burrito actually had no flavor, the pico de gallo was below average, and the salsa was nothing special. I also ask for one extra salsa (love my salsa!), offered to pay extra if necessary, but never received it. The counter person seemed off put that I should even ask. Not sure why, maybe having a bad day? Anyway, objectively looking at this place, it's just not worth it. There are so many better places that serve Mexican food in Vegas. Big disappointment!

About what you’d expect from a fast food style of restaurant. On the upside, service is good. Very courteous. Food does the job. Not totally top marks but still is sufficient.

Food is great very yummy. It inside Sam's Town in the food court. The sitting is limited but it is almost never full. Staff is great. The accommodate to your requests. Pricing per person varies but I ordered the bean cheese and beef burrito and it was huge. Runs about 15$ for that , but there's is cheaper alternatives.

This place is great!! Open 24 hours a day... No alcohol but walk up to the counter and order whatever off of a very large menu.... Quick service every time I've eaten here... The little sides of the house red and green salsa are both different and very good.... Food pretty much always seems made to order and fresh....shrimp a la Diablo are tasty and a perfect amount of spice!!! Chicken rolled taquitos with cheese and 🥑 are very good

This is located in the food court adjacent McDonalds behind Majestic Falls. The portion sizes are quite large. I ordered the $14 chimichanga plus a Pepsi and it was $17 and change with tax. So a bit pricier but more food than you can handle and well air conditioned area.

Out of all the different food options at Sam’s town hotel Roberto’s taco shop was my go to. The workers were friendly and the food portion was big. I get super full and would still have enough bite for later. The carne sada fries was my favorite the fries were always fresh and crunchy unlike the ones I tried at betos(no shade lol). If y’all are looking for a big meal enough for two Roberto’s taco shop is where it’s at. 11/10 would recommend it to anyone staying at Sam’s town hotel.

The carne asada burrito and rolled tacos tasted just like the original in SD...soooo good. The Sams Town area...not so good. Be careful, some people in there will try to take advantage of your kindness and look for a free handout or try to sucker you into getting free food for their family...all the while they know they won't do anything for you in return.... Will try the Robertos in Sumerlin next time.

As full time travelers we visit Las Vegas at least twice a year. We stay at the KOA at Sam's Town when we're there so yes, we eat at Roberto's once or twice a day!! Hubby makes a run in the morning for my rolled taco breakfast and there's usually a late night rolled taco snack on the agenda as well! They are the real deal that you only get in Cali! Hubby has tried just about everything else on the menu but leans towards the carne asada burrito as his go to. The service is super friendly and welcoming if you want it to be!! If you're quiet, they're quiet, if you smile, they smile, if you chat, they chat and if you laugh, they laugh with you! The food is all prepared to order and with the grill in plain site you get to watch it all go down. Honestly, my mouth is watering as I write this review because it's been a few days since I've had my fix! Thank you Roberto's, you've always been good to me and I'll definitely keep coming back!

Fast and friendly service. The carne asada burrito is fab, get it with the guac and pico. Get yourself a cheese quesadilla while you're at it. The green and red hot sauces on the hot sauce bar are both excellent! Best tortilla I've ever had a burrito wrapped in. Soft and tender as well as thin and flaky, but didn't fall apart as I ate it. Go hungry!

We tried Roberto's thinking it might have fish tacos as good as we had at Rubios at the Aliente Casino. While not quite as good, and Rubios was GOOD, it was definitely passable. Considering the prices they charge for their food, it is a deal. I had the Adobada burrito. It was good. I still have no idea what it was supposed to be cause it just says it's a marinated pork, but that's it. I tried to ask the gentleman at the register but he didn't understand what I was asking. So I ordered it anyway. Alls well... So anyway, considering the prices, you can't go wrong here. Maybe not the best, maybe they don't understand your questions, but hey... it's cheap and filling.

Love this location in sams town casino, been a robertos customer for about 40 years now. The peices are reasonable, portions filling and flavorable. Staff always on point fast service.

We decided on grabbing a quick bite for dinner and decided on Roberto's Taco Shop. My husband and I both got the breakfast burrito. He had ham and I had the sausage. Their breakfast burritos are really large. At first I told my hubby that I can finish this easy but I was wrong. I ate 2/3 of it and I was stuffed. In addition to the sausage it also had 2 scrambled eggs, potatoes and cheese My husband finished his but he was really stuffed We both enjoyed the red salsa. It was the right amount of spicy for us. We thought the price was right for what we got. We will eat here again

Honestly I feel like the taste/quality of this location was better than any of the other Roberto's I been to. Located at Sam's Town casino which is convenient if you're at the casino but they also have an entrance where you don't need to be in the casino to get to it. The gentleman that took our order was very nice, he was the only one taking orders and cooking the food so props to him for being a one man show.

My husband and I had food at Robertos last week. The chicken enchiladas were delicious! My husband got the chicken taco plate with rice and beans and really liked it! Good food and will be back!

Early dinner in Las Vegas... Located at the Food Court of Sam's Town, between McDonald's and Panda Express, was a sign that read "Roberto's". I texted a photo of the sign to my friend, Roberto, in Honolulu. He laughed and said he had a secret side business (joking)! I had to get some tacos! I ordered the Fish Taco and Adobada (marinated pork) taco from the regular menu. I got the lengua (tongue) taco from the Secret Menu. The lengua was disappointing. It was on the dry side and only had some flavor from the onions. I had to add some tomatoes, guacamole, and Adobada to it to finish the lengua. The Adobada was better than expected! It was tasty and moist! I also liked the fish taco because it had fresh lettuce and tartar sauce! There are other locations of Roberto's if you want to try their tacos - about forty in Las Vegas and more in Henderson!

The food was good I had the fried tacos the service good also but some of the cashiers can't really understand English but still friendly ... I would go back if I were on vacation again

Robertos was recommended to me by a local a few years back and has become my wife's go-to for tacos when we are in Vegas. One of the only reasons to stay at Sam's town is that Robertos is on-site so she can get her taco fix. Prices are reasonable. They are open 24/7. My personal go-to items are the rolled tacos (taquitos) and the nachos. The 5 rolled tacos combo comes with a drink, Unfortunately for me, there is no nacho combo. It's probably a good thing, though, because I don't always want a drink with my meal. The food court area is shared with a McDonald's and a Panda Express that both close at your normal McDonald's/Panda hours. The dining area isn't always the cleanest and is pretty small but gets the job done. Would share a pic of my nachos but didn't think about taking a photo until I had destroyed 3/4 of them. Great late night food, much better than Taco Bell or any of the other "mexican" fast food joints, and they are pretty quick with orders, especially late at night.

This place is a scam! Don't buy food here all of their dishes are variations on the same shit. For them the special is just a nicer bag to put the food in. The items in the bag don't change. It's fake! And the guy who runs this place is a complete asshole.

I ate Roberto's for 25 years. However stopped a few years ago when they started precooking food and served cold. Will never go back. There are better options

Decent Mexican fast food available 24 hours and "Que Malo! Once Again I Must Sugar My Own Churro" The Simpsons

I had a coupon from Sam's Town for staying and playing. It was buy and item and get a free medium soda. I just wanted a snack so I got a filled churro with Bavarian creme for $2. My bonus soda was given to me at purchase. This is located in ST food court and is open 24/7. It took long time due to other food orders but when I got it is was hot and tasty and wrapped in foil. My review is for the churro only. Really fab! The dining area was filthy and shit everywhere and peeps were not bussing their crap. Filthy food court. No one handling it like you see at MGM food court. Since the food court is connected to these dining options, 1 star must be deducted for the unkempt dining area.

This was actually a pretty good place. Ok I ate here before but this location in particular has been very convenient (would have been even better if we were able to stay inside Sams Town :D ). Nonetheless great location inside the little food court. Service was great and the selection of food items, I mean we went there twice and took a burrito to go for later lol The food didn't stand a chance so unfortunately no pictures made it to this post but the food was sooo good and the pickled carrots and the salsa and the horchata.. even the little churro.. From breakfast to lunch and dinner this is the best place to visit and it's super affordable. I eat here some what often. Overall, I like the food. I often think that they cook the carne asada too long. Sometimes, the carne asada seems burned, crunchy or dried out. Admittedly, the rice can seem a little too garlic forward, but beyond those two issues, I like the food. The red salsa has a good spice to it and the rolled tacos are good. To me, the carne asada fries are enough for two people or two meals. The staff has been friendly each time I have been there. This particlar store front is in the food court of Sam's Town casino on Boulder Highway.

Just passed by this branch to pick up my late snack after work, surpised how fast my "no cilantro" carne asada fries came out. Opened it it soon as i got home; raw fries(some are still green) , super less sauce, a spoon of carne and most of all a bunch of cilantro! Thanks!!! But no thanks russel and boulder branch...

I was hungry and didnt want to drive so I went here. Got the fish tacos and should not have. Didnt even try to eat the beans disguised as grey liquid mush. The rice was trash. Whole thing was trash

This one star comes from this year on accountability of the management in regards to a food health emergency. My girlfriend and I ate at this Roberto's yesterday at 5 AM, and she was throwing up from 6 to 10 AM. When I reached out to Roberto's for information, a refund, and to tell them that they should check the food, I was met with a dismissive attitude from the manager with them saying "go to the hospital and get a checked out because we haven't had any other reports. And if it is that (food poisoning) we have insurance. Completely unprofessional and I will never be near again. If I can give them zero stars I would

Authtenic mexicali cuisine. I believe vegetarians need more options. I suggested this to the waiter/cook/cashier. He asked me what I wanted. I told him, he fixed it right in front of me. No questions asked. My burrito is good. I think it is larger normal, hubby says it is a Roberto burrito, the perfect size. They now have churros in Bavarian, strawberry and plain. I'm still not a sweets lover so, try them you may love them. This s located in a hotel/casino we chose to eat in our room vs.the food court.

Please stop under cooking your fries in order to get people through the line faster ESPECIALLY when you have tacked on an extra $1.50 charge for the "meat shortage" if I didn't have to drive 15 Mind back to this location I would have but after waiting 30 mins for undercooked cold fries I would have. I shouldn't have to ask you at the speaker to cook your food properly it's your job,hopefully you don't make someone sick.

Roberto's is located in Sam's Town Hotel and Casino. They are one of three food options open 24/7 and the best option over Mc Donalds and Panda when nothing else in the casino is open for food until 6am. To have a real taqueria inside a casino... it is AWESOME! They make all from scratch and a few salsa selections and the pickled carrots and jalapenos with onions you would get at other real deal taqueria's. We had a reunion there recently and its was the perfect option after a night of hanging out, some drinking..... we went all in for chicken tacos! We were super happy campers tween those heading to bed and those heading back to the tables! Thank you for being there at Sam's Roberto!!!

I enjoyed my food at Roberto's in Sam's Town. The cashier was friendly and I was happy that after he handled the register/money, he put gloves on to make my food since he seemed to be the only worker in the front. I orderd 2 crunchy tacos with shredded chicken and added avocado for an extra charge. It was tasty and similar to another similar place my friend took me to in LA, where they fry the whole shell with chicken before putting the lettuce and cheese on it. After taking my tray when my order was ready, I asked if they had sour cream, and they gave me some. There was a little hesitation; but when I offered to pay for it, the lady worker who was now in front, said very politely and with a smile, "no charge." The tacos were fresh tasting and delicious! I also ordered 2 churros to share with my sister and bro-in-law. I got the barvarian cream filling and strawberry filling. I couldn't really taste the barvarian cream. I think the strawberry one was more flavorful. They also have plain, but I wanted to try the flavored ones. Those are the only 3 options. My bro-in-law said that they tried another Roberto's location but it's hit-or-miss with the quality and taste of the food.

i expected this to be much better. As a southerner coming to Las Vegas, I expected better Mexican food than I get at home. Not so here. There wasnt anything from with the preparation, but the food was fairly bland. The level of spice want there on anything I tried, including both green and red salsas. Del Taco was better.

Located in Sam's Town Casino and Hotel's food court. I probably would not have tried it, if it wasn't Tacos for 1.25 special on Wed. nights! The chicken tacos were great with the green salsa/sauce which made it da bomb! Otherwise if it was not for the sauce, the chicken would be bland- but yummy green sauce. Rice was fine. My meal was like 5 bucks for dinner so cannot beat that and opened til late at night!

I was particularly disappointed with the chicken rolled tacos. Runny guacamole and practically no cheese. I've had good rolled tacos at other Roberto's locations but this locations n in Samstown was the worst! Don't bother.

Very good breakfast burrito! Hot & fresh as u can watch them prep it for you right there. Tacos are very good with a fried tortilla for the tacos. The food is very flavorful and worth going back next time around.

This is the worst robertos ever!!!! If you want to get ripped off go here. The burritos are smaller than taco bells and cost twice as much and the reason given by the employee is they weigh the food but thats not even possible since there was no scale used to weigh my food or anyehere in sight. You could literally put your fingers around the carne asada burrito and pich them together. Never again!!!!!

My beef taco was super fresh, great ingredients. Very authentic. Far better quality Mexican food than I expected to find in a food court. Flavors agreed, service is reasonable. I came the day after they reopened after COVID-19, so it was a little slow. But no problems. Prices were very reasonable. My cheese enchilada was slightly under done but still very tasty. One word of WARNING,Their salsa is definitely HOT. I'm not a total wimp but it was way too much for me. The salsa Verde however was just right. No complaints.

My husband ordered nachos with beans when he brought them to the table in the park there was chips with cheese and sour cream nothing else. He took them back and they gave him loaded nachos with very few chips. Part of the problem is workers who do not speak english. Maybe in the future hire Americans who speak the language.!

Use to Love coming here whenever I was in Vegas as they had the best Guacamole. Pure avocado with no water down fillers. Now it tastes like the frozen guacamole and they puréed it to it's almost liquid. The rest of the meal is fine for fast food. But don't think I will go out my way to have it. If I'm staying at Sams Town I may get a taco just tie me to dinner.

Worst service no one speaks english and charged for items i never got when asked about it i was called a lier. The condiments were all open to kids hands and not even chilled the radfishes are watm and salza had floating things in it. This place was at one time good now the worst service in all of vegas!!!!! Sams town needs to pull there lease and get a real resturant in here. I speak from exp on this i have tried several times before writing this review. Also there is no money back if thay mes it up only an offer of new more meased up food STAY AWAY !!!!

Eeeewwww! Bad service. Asked to have food to eat here and they packed it to go. Annoying! They forgot about us and served others there order before us even though we were ahead. I had to finally stand in front of them to get my order. Now for the food. Like I said, eeeewwww! Shrimp was over cooked because they forgot it. Chili rellano was horrible and the chili was so tough and stringy that is made it totaly enedible. My dog liked the chicken out of the disgusting enchilada though.

Everything is tasty and the service is great! My favorite is the Shrimp Burrito and chile relleno Burrito. And a JAMAICA to wash one of those bad boys down.

Fucking garbage. Don't let's this play fool you. They say it takes "3 mins" for your food but it actually takes 30 mins. Because they only have one cook who also doubles as the register. When you finally get your food. ( I ordered the rolled tacos) it was absolutely dead ass garbage.

I tried this restaurant yesterday and was pleasantly surprised that the food was pretty authentic and tasty. The only complaint I have is that the salsa was watered down and terrible. To bad it took away from the overall experience.

Everything time I come here after 11:00pm the carne asada fries are always awesome and amazing. The fries are always crispy and the portions they put on top are always on point. Live this place and I have been to a lot of robertos
