Amazing gelato and Italian ice! So good that we went there twice in one day. Shame that it doesn't open earlier. Portions are big on the Italian ice. I can recommend the rainbow or watermelon. For gelato we tried this orange dreamsicle-like gelato that had chocolate chips in it. Absolutely amazing! Hours seem subject to change. We asked about the hours on Saturday and it seemed to vary at closing time depending on how busy it is, either 7 or 8 PM.

You don’t want ice cream, you want gelato! They also have Italian ice! The fruity options were perfect for an unexpectedly hot and humid weekend in Rockport. We each got a three scoop bowl, one strawberry, one mango, and one lemon. I’d recommend trying out this combination. The girl working said that later in the summer the shop has a passion fruit gelato that is a must try!

Incredible shaved ice and gelato. Flavors are balanced and textures are indulgent. Friendly and prompt service. It's a must visit when in the area.

How to cap off a full day of sight seeing, walking tours, a big dinner, and a summer storm? Well, with dessert, of course! We were so grateful that Lucio's was open til 9:00! Boy oh boy...so many colorful choices beckoned to us! The friendly gal behind the counter didn't even bat an eye at all the samples the 4 of us tried. I chose the most delightful pistachio of pistachios gelato - the best I've ever had. The rest of our group had the cannoli, Cookie Monster, chocolate orange, and a rainbow Italian ice. Nothing but Mmmmms from us! Creamy, bursting with flavor gems! You don't need an excuse: go get yourself some!

This is awesome gelato and sorbet! My husband enjoyed the Godiva chocolate and salted caramel and I loved the strawberry sorbet and excellent pistachio. I appreciate that you can get 2 flavors in a small (I still couldn't finish it). There are a couple of small benches out front too.

My husband and I were walking around on a hot July afternoon and were in desperate need of something to keep us cool. We decided to stop in to this ice cream shop. We originally were going to get ice cream, but when we saw that they sold water, we went for that instead. They sold hugeee bottles of water with caps then close onto themselves which was nice. The employee behind the counter was very kind and friendly.

Good stuff! This is your classic spot for a cool treat by the beach. I got vibes that it's a very local spot, since the employees seemed to know some of the customers, but of course a tourist location as well. The gelato was solid, but nothing I'd go out of my way for. I enjoyed the chunks of cookie in the gelato, but I wish the gelato itself had a bit more of that classic smooth consistency. Decent spot!

Best Gelato in Rockport! Unless you prefer it the typical American way with overloads of sugar and food coloring and utter lack of flavor. I don't. Highly recommend this small shop. It's locally made. Every flavor tastes as its name tag suggests. Scoops are large in size. Gelato is soft and creamy. Be prepared to lick quickly. Affogatos are also offered. There are a couple of benches on a small patio with a tranquil water fountain if one prefers to sit while eating their Gelato. They offer water and some other cold beverages as well.

My friends and I were hanging out in Rockport for the 4th of July and we happened to come across this gem! We all ordered the Cookie Monster and Purple Cow - these are also their most popular flavors in general. The Cookie Monster is my ABSOLUTE favorite! I loved how there were bits of different kind of cookies and the bright blue color made me so happy! The purple cow was a light fruity flavor with chunks of chocolate shards and chips - I wasn't a fan of how hard the white chocolate chips were. If I could go back, I'd get a small with only Cookie Monster. This place makes me wish I lived in Rockport - I swear I'd get the Cookie Monster every single day! I'll definitely be back for more next time I'm around!

Tastes like the real thing. Its really hard to find good gelato, but this is it. I had hazelnut and pistachio and would go every day if I could.

Rockport has sadly lost many of its good ice cream places, and restaurants, over the years. The Ice Cream Store is kind of boring and Rockin' Cupcakes lost points when they charged $3 for a thimble of whipped cream for my dog...so I decided to branch out and try Robin's Nest, which hadn't really been on our radar before for some reason. I'm so glad I did!! I am sooo happy to have a new excellent go-to ice cream place. The salted caramel gelato was seriously divine, you have to try it.

Great little gelato store in Rockport. They have about 16 different flavors of gelato to choose from and a bunch of Italian ices. My wife got a lemon Italian ice that had a great refreshing flavor and an unexpected addition of what she thought was some ground lemon ring which gave it an extra bit of texture. I got a scoops of the mango and the berry gelato. The mango was excellent and very flavorful. The berry was a mixture of multiple kinds of berries and it too was great! I would recommend a stop here when your in the area!

The ice creams tasted organic and they have two sections with lots of options to try. Mix and match. I enjoyed the ice cream. Hazelnut was little sour but blackberry cow made up for the sweetness. I intended that way. They do not offer sitting inside but outside is very nice atmosphere. A summer afternoon for this is perfect.

I visit this island every year. This is one of the ice cream places I prefer on this small island. I loved the pistachio Gelato here. Not like traditional American ice creams which are too sweet, the gelato they provide are properly sweet. Plus, there are many choices here.

Wow, Robin's Nest is unbelievable! They do something amazing here to make the creamiest gelato. Try the Black Cow. It's made from blueberries and out of this world!!! My friends and I inhaled our gelato, and we're already planning our next Rockport trip for more. Definitely stop by for the creamiest, most flavorful gelato ever!

I was in Italy recently and missed gelato. A LOT. This place sells the real deal. This is my new favorite place:) Go. You will not be disappointed.

Best gelato ever. It's a cute little store with super kind and awesome staff. They have many flavors to choose from. I got the cookie monster which is your basic cookies and cream but it had a fun bright blue dye to it! I also got the black cow. It tasted like blueberry. I'm not too sure but IT TASTED SOO GOOD. Definitely come here with your friends and family!

The gelato is delicious!! I had black cow and raspberry champagne. I tried different flavors and it was hard to decide. Everything is delicious taste fresh and homemade indeed. The owner is a sweetheart and the place is lovely. Nothing to dislike here.

The best ice cream in the world, all home made. Must have if you got sweet tooth. Pistachio, Hazelnuts, mango, etc etc.

Robin's nest has the very best gelato! So many choices. They even have sorbet and Italian Ice! Sometimes I have their Orange Straciatelli for lunch. The owners are delightful, as are the people who work there! We love Robin's Nest. It's a must go to while visiting Rockport!

Robin's Nest sorbet was definitely the best one I've had since I can remember. My boyfriend and I stopped by here on a whim after watching the sunset because we had ice cream earlier and was in the mood for something fruity. Robin's Nest is located on the heart of Main Street so it was really easy to find and wasn't too busy right before closing, around 9 PM. We got the two scoop sorbet, one mango flavored and one pink lemonade flavors and I can't place enough emphasis on how fresh and authentic the mango tasted! It was as if the mango had been pureed minutes before, so much tanginess, so much sweetness, all with a perfectly creamy texture! Robin's Nest is an absolute gem and even though there are so many ice cream shops in Rockport, this is a store I'll be coming back to when I find myself back in Rockport.

Large portions of delicious Italian ice and gelato! They had a decent variety of flavors and used clean, allergy-friendly scoops for our order.

Great little shop that a little bit away from the hustle of Bearskin. Standing room only inside but there is a bench outside for nice weather sitting. I mixed Strawberry Chocolate with Mango and had a party in my mouth. The Mango was truly the star. My wife had something else ( I was too busy slurping mine up to notice what she was eating) She thoroughly enjoyed what ever it was and I got a kiss. So I recommend going, great mango Sorbet and Kiss for you trouble. What else could you ask for?

Great ice cream place in perfect location. After having a great lobster this is a amazing way to finish your meal. A lot of flavors to choose from and if you are not sure what you want their friendly staff will let you try. Also very crispy and fresh cones - that is what I like about ice cream most.

If you love gelato or you don't want to wait in line at the other ice cream places. Then this place is for you. Nice

I am so glad I was able have the best gelato in the world everyday for three days. The best part was being able to see and talk to the owner. She is very easy to talk to and a wonderful person. The choice of flavors is outstanding. The size of the servings are very generous. We have been coming here for 5 years. It's the first place we stop at when we get to Rockport, and the last place before we leave. I love, love, love their Gelato. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for serving the best gelato. My favorite is Chocolate, oh wait Godiva Chocolate, Baci, Nutella Hazelnut, Banana Split and everything else. See you next year.

We had Godiva chocolate, Cookie Monster and salted caramel in a cup today. Separately. Not together. That would be weird. Anyway, all were given high marks for quality and the service was perfect. Friendly, helpful and interesting people behind the counter to scoop with joy. While portions were on the slight side but prices were not, the quality of the ice cream made the experience well worthwhile. Cheers!

Gelato was excellent, but the times seem inconsistent. We were there at 1130, and it should have been opened, but it wasn't. We called the number, and they said they were open, tried the door and locked. This isn't necessarily an anomaly in Rockport shops (and I think of that as part of its charm), but on a hot day you really want ice cream! Still great.

Always come to this place when I'm in Rockport because the gelato is fresh and delicious! Last time I came here I got the pink lemonade and the sea salt caramel. I loved the pink lemonade because it had actual bits of lemons in it! My other favorite would be the the orange stracciatella because it's pretty unique; I don't think I've ever seen this flavor in any other ice cream or gelato shop. It's a pretty good option if you're wanting something both fruit-y and chocolate-y. I highly recommend stopping in to get a scoop instead of going to some of the other ice cream shops in town, or you know, get a scoop here and a scoop of ice cream later!

This is a very good place for you to get some gelato. There are a lot of flavors for you to choose. I got a chocolate and a pistachio one and both flavors taste good. The price is good too.

Great flavors. Really nice owners. What else can you ask for? And they were really nice and helped get us a water for our puppy who was pooped out from the days adventures.

I have been going here since they opened and will never, ever stop. They make their gelato with loving care, and you can tell. EVERY flavor, and I mean every one (even the ones I shouldn't like, such as Jack Daniels) is tasty. They let you mix and match, and the prices aren't all that unreasonable for homemade gelato. Godiva chocolate is truly a chocolate masterpiece. Couple that with Tiramisu and/or Hazelnut and you've got a winning combo. Their fruit gelatos and sorbets are so very good (lime, lemon, raspberry) and fresh tasting. Not too much sugary sweetness in any of these flavors. If you like Guinness, you may be lucky enough to happen upon them with that flavor out. I don't care for any alcoholic beverage much, but combine the Guinness (stout) with a chocolate gelato and you'll kinda be in a weird sort of heaven. The owners are also super nice and they kids they hire are groomed to be friendly, too. Support this great local business and give them some love - try their gelato NOW!

Robins nest has absolutely the most creamy gelato I've ever had in my entire life and it was amazing I give it 10 I sent 100% you go there.

GREAT, UNIQUE GELATO FLAVORS AND VERY HOSPITABLE OWNERS. They make their gelato with love and you can taste it. Had a great time eating our gelato and talking to Robin and Joe, the owners. We tried the Orange Stracciatella, Black Raspberry, Caramel Brownie and Grapenut Custard flavors. All very good and and unique. As I foodie, I highly recommend this place for dessert or a snack!

Kids enjoyed the gelato. The gelato cups were great for catching hermit crabs near the shop. Our server was a little less than friendly. A smile goes a long way.

Excellent gelato! Very friendly and gave us samples of whatever we wanted to try. They have the cutest itty bitty cones that were perfect for my three year old. She also loved her mango gelato. I had the caramel brownie and it was amazing.

This beautiful gelato shop at the beginning of Bear Neck is fabulous. We make it a point to stop here every time we are in the area. Many times there is a line because it is so good but it is worth the wait. The owners Joe and Robin are very welcoming and are great with our kids. They let them try any flavor. The gelato is honestly better than what I had in Italy and the variety is good. My favorite is blueberry--it is very creamy and tasty.

Absolutely amazing! Super friendly folks (are you sure you're from Massachusetts?!). Absolutely delicious ice cream. Their hazelnut is superbly creamy, gorgeous and wonderful. Their dairy-free pomegranate-blueberry was out of the world! Amazing not only for a vegan alternative, but definitely rivals dairy counterparts.

Best ice cream in Rockport, great flavor variety and the staff are super nice. 100% recommend! (Try the black moon ice cream it's amazing)

A great little treat after a gorgeous day in the cape. The owner was very nice and offered to sample as many flavors as I wanted. Reasonably priced, $3.50 for 2 scoops to which you can choose any 2 flavors you would like with a little cone on top. (Coffee cookie appeared to be a popular choice) The sorbets were delicious as well. I personally mixed the raspberry champagne with the strawberry gelato and it was awesome. It seems as though their flavors change frequently, so I am excited to see what there is new to try on our next trip!

The ice cream here is delicious. I had an amazing cone of passion fruit/pink lemonade and it made a hot day much more bearable. The people here were so friendly! They even gave my family dog some water. Major brownie points. Next time I'm in Rockport I'll swing by again

Excellent selection of sorbets for those needing dairy-free, and craving a delectable frozen dessert with a creamy 'ice cream' feel! All homemade and flavors vary regularly to keep choices interesting.

Best gelato I've ever had. We came to Rockport for vacation two years ago, and I was still remembering the peanut butter chocolate concoction from that time. We are back again for another week, and have been to this place 4 times. We've had: orange straciatelli, black cow, tiramisu, coffee cookie, Cookie Monster, and pink lemonade. All are delicious - I prefer the gelato more than the sorbet, but that's just personal preference. The gelato is so creamy and smooth, and the flavors are deep and complex. Go here - you won't regret it!

Very good gelato! I will probably always prefer Dolce Freddo Gelato in Methuen, which is amazing, but this is the second best gelato I've ever had. The shop is small and cute, the employees were friendly, and the gelato was very creamy. I had an almond cherry (delicious) and a very rich chocolate (decadent.) My son had an orange-vanilla creamsicle flavor and said it was great, and my husband said his pink lemonade was very soft and smooth.

The best gelato in Rockport. The people are warm and friendly. The store is very clean and well maintained. They have a good variety of flavors. We have been stopping here for two years, when we are in Rockport. The products and service have been consistently 5 stars. Ceramic guy and San Diego girl.
