Roblar Winery and Vineyards - Santa Ynez Estate Tasting Room

First time at Roblar Winery and we had such a great experience! The spot is super cute and charming. We did the 5-wine tasting and also ordered the bread and butter appetizer — absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic — everyone was very friendly, and Nancy went above and beyond by explaining each wine in Spanish so my mom could follow along and enjoy the tasting. That personal touch was so appreciated. Definitely planning to visit again!

Wonderful estate vineyard and farm. We sat outside surrounded by beautiful flowers on a sunny day. The food is wonderful, as is the wine. We did take some bottles with us consisting of the Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc. The service was wonderful as it seemed there were enough staff to handle the surprising mid-week customer count. They also have a farm stand stocked with in season fruits. If you want a nice lunch and good wine, don’t miss out!

Came without a reservation to do a tasting and our 4th winery of the day - walked out with a pepperoni pizza and a bag of spinach from their farm. Had a great time. They were also setting up for a wedding which looked gorgeous! Service was a little slow - 2 different servers kept coming up to us asking if the other had already delivered the pour.

We keep coming back to Roblar and loving it every time. We love it for their great food (last time we had the baked cauliflower, cheese board and shrimp pasta), lush vegetable garden, beautiful patio, well at stocked farm shop, for their pet and kid-friendliness and for the overall atmosphere. We never did the wine tasting so I can’t comment on that. Will return for sure!

Very competent service that works close to the wine production. Tasting and food were great, in my case they were much more generous with the number of wines (according to plan 5, actually 6-7 tasted). It would be desirable if the tasting fee could be offset against the purchase.

Meh. Out of our day of tastings, this was my least favorite stop. On the plus side, the food was specTACular. I'm still dreaming about that Pork Schnitzel. And they have a massive outdoor patio with lots of seating. We were actually seated outside by a fireplace, which was perfect, because I'm always the cold one with my group of friends. On the not-so-plus side...the wines were pretty blah, on checking-in the welcome was not on the warm side, and they were VERY understaffed....so understaffed that we were waiting about 15 minutes between pours, and I finally had to go track down our server for the check because she never came back to check on us. So, all in all, not a horrible winery, but there are so many fabulous options in the region, I recommend a hard pass on this one.

Outstanding small batch winery and restaurant with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. They grow and bottle their own bespoke wines. They are excellent as is the service and food. Despite arriving towards the end of the afternoon, we were quickly seated and well attended by Richard and the rest of the staff. We sampled the Reserve flight and most were excellent. Bought 3 bottles, as they don’t sell their wine outside of the winery.

At Roblar we combined a tasting of red varietals and blends, which we thoroughly enjoyed, with a delicious lunch under the vine-covered arbors shading the spacious patio bordered by tall wildflowers in bloom. How can you go wrong with several delicious reds (our friends enjoyed the whites), a BLT made with candied bacon and heirloom tomatoes, and a panzanella salad with more heirloom tomatoes? Our excellent meal ended with freshly baked chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, which paired perfectly with the beautiful Cab Franc reserve. It was almost unfortunate that the weather was perfect because we were unable to enjoy the spectacular indoor tasting room or indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Our friends, who were driving back to Long Beach, also stocked up on a few vegetables from the winery’s honor farm stand across from the horse parking area.

I have been buying veggies from Roblar's veggie stand at Tuesday's farmer market in Santa Barbara so i was really excited for the opportunity to try their wines and their food at the winery. It was great to be able to wine taste and eat such a delicious meal. There were 4 of us and 2 pizzas, a salad and chartcuterie board was perfect. I didnt want a salad but everyone made fun of me because i loved it sooooo much! I will never want to skip the salad again :-)

Food never came. Server forgot to put it in. She was definitely a space cadet. There's better wineries, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere

On the way home from Monterey, my husband and I decided to stop by for wine tasting and a light lunch. We were forgotten and/or ignored pretty much the entire time we were there. There were maybe 6 parties eating/drinking. Service took forever, we were given dirty plates, and one of our tastings was forgotten. We were told, "we can revisit that one." How do you "revisit" something that was never visited?!? The Cesar salad and Chardonnay were the shining stars of this frustrating stop. When I went to the restroom towards the end, I found our server and the others huddled around in a separate room talking. I guess that's why the service sucked?!? Looks like I won't be revisiting...

This place is amazing...can't believe it took me so long to try it. Lovely atmosphere and such a great server. He went above and beyond explaining the wines to us. We got a flight of wine, a charcuterie board (that he customized for us) and a sandwich. The day was perfect to be out there and enjoy some sun.

This place perfectly combines the three things any establishment should have: good quality food, amazing service, and a welcoming ambiance. From the moment you walk in it's an experience. This is a place I recommend bringing family and friends (of drinking age) for a nice afternoon. I also recommend hiring a car service so everyone in your party can partake comfortably--if that's an option you have. Lastly, I can't give this review without saying that the cornbread is the best cornbread I've had in my life. I've never felt compelled to ever review cornbread because it's not a dish I particularly enjoy, but my mind was changed in the best way. Everything about this experience was an A+. Who knew wine and fried chicken went together so well!

Went here for brunch with family on our way to a Solvang day trip. The location is beautiful and very close to Los Olivos if you want to explore the area. We had brunch and tried several of the wines. The food was exceptional, and we really enjoyed the wine selection they provided for their tasting. I hope to return for their lunch service and try the rest of the wine they produce.

Always good food good wine and service at Roblar. Had a wonderful lunch yesterday by the fireplace with my husband. So cozy and romantic.

We came here to mainly eat and got the honey pepperoni pizza and the corn pizza. Those are not the exact names but both were delicious! The corn pizza was first time having that kind and it was better than I thought! Now I'm on the hunt for pizza with corn here in Los Angeles. I got a Sauvignon blanc while my bf got a Pinot noir. Nice ambiance inside and outside as we walked around. It was pretty packed outside and reservations are highly recommended

We had a wonderful time while on a short trip to Solvang. Food was delicious, service was on point, our favorite stop for wine, ambiance was perfect!

This is such a beautiful winery! It was a friends birthday and they have such a gorgeous location. The menu was fantastic. The wine was good. The plating was phenomenal. Their hummus was really good. I had the butternut squash risotto and it was all I could have dreamed of. The wedge salad was amazing too. Very fresh!!!!

All I have to say is if you want a good ambiance, great food, and amazing scenery, then you must come here! I immediately felt welcomed and the place was gorgeous! Celebrated my friends birthday here with a wine tasting and will definitely be returning.

This review is for the environment and for the food. I do have to say that Roblar had the best tasting lunch options that I tasted the entire weekend while visiting the area. Everything was fresh and has the farm to table feel and taste. We were a very large party and the staff was very accommodating.

Roblar is simply one of the best winery restaurant experiences in the SY Valley. We came for the fried chicken dinner (wonderful) and the sparkling wine (great pairing). Our beyond wonderful server (Kim?) suggested the scallop special with the paired aged wine. We took one to share as an appetizer.Our wonderful server helped us to have one scallop per person (we were four). The chef at Roblar never disappoints, but this was beyond incredible! Really! We debated liking the plate (that is how good the sauce was). The we shared two glasses of the selected wine. It was perfectly matched. If the food and the service was not enough, the location simply cannot be better. Sitting outside in the garden with wonderful weather is worth the visit alone. I really hope that all these accolades do not ruin my chances of getting a table on my next visit

Worst winery I've ever been to. Really disappointed. We bought 4 bottles of wine and still paid for all 4 tastings. When we asked if there was a discount the server acted like we were crazy. Server was not engaged. Not interested. Won't return. Too many other great places in the area!

Beautiful winery with a lovely area for tasting and dining among the vineyards and gardens. A great menu offered to pair with a wine tasting. We were swayed by the review of the BLT at check in. It was hearty and came with a fresh salad. We did the wine tasting ($25) and enjoyed tasting 2 whites and 3 reds, the Syrah being our favorite. Others had posted pizza which was not on the menu, apparently the pizza I've was not working but they also serve it only on certain days so call ahead if you're looking to try the pizza with your wine. Lots of cute dogs visiting as well, so dog friendly.

Very nice space! We came on a Tuesday and it was raining, so it was very quiet and empty. But the service was fantastic, and the wine was really great. They had a really nice fire burning so the overall vibe was super cozy. Highly recommend!

We went to the winery today for their Mother's Day brunch and it was easily one of the best brunch/ brunch buffets I have ever been to. The staff were amazing, the food was on point and we will definitely be coming back for their lunch and taste. Highly recommend!!!!

My new favorite lunch and wine tasting spot near Solvang. The pizzas were delicious and so were the wines. They have a cool idea to let the patrons taste their wines during lunch which resulted in me buying their delicious $80 cab and $40 petite Syrah. The ambiance is super nice and happy. Place is beautiful all around .

We had a great experience wine tasting and enjoying a fresh seasonal lunch on their beautiful patio. Our server was super knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service! We tried a cheese board, beet salad, and sandwiches. It was all very fresh and perfectly accompanied our wine flight. We left with 3 bottles of wine too!

This was the second spot on my birthday winery trip. This was the perfect spot to get lunch after a few glasses of wine. The honey pepperoni pizza was delicious! Perfect amount of honey and pepper. I love how the pepperonis were crispy. The food is very tasty here however it is priced fairly expensive. The wine is good but the pours are a little smaller compared to other wineries nearby. The winery has beautiful views no matter where you look. Super cute winery to visit! The staff is friendly and was accommodating with our large group. I was able to make a reservation of 18 people a few days beforehand.

Food awfully good, but $33 for this serving? Not again. Fried chicken (Thursdays only) generous serving. But the cornbread, though tasty, is too crumbly to actually butter.

Wow wow wow! My husband and I had the best time with Brian on the outdoor patio. The tasting were great but Brian's expertise and outgoing personality made our day. We were on our way back from a long camping trip and decided to try this winery and we are so glad we did. The prosciutto sandwich and ahi tuna tacos are amazing! Wow thank you chef! We went home with a few bottles of wine and smiles on our faces! Thank you! Did I already mention how awesome Brian is?

We are members here and always make it a point to drive up the 2.5 hours to pick up our wine club shipment from our favorite winery in Santa Ynez. Its a beautiful winery with outdoor views from the patio looking out to the vineyard and veggie garden. Our friendly and knowledgeable host seated us right away and started us with the first pour of our complementary wine tasting flight. Roblar has some amazing red's, my favorite is their Ottimo , a red blend. Also the Petite Sirah is a nice complex red. The lunch selection has many great choices, but the pizza is outstanding! Roblar is a must stop if you are ever in the area!

Came on a busy Saturday afternoon and they were still able to accommodate us even though we missed our reservation slot so kudos to them! It was our fault we were more than 2 hrs late (yikes) but they still managed to provide excellent service and deliver our food in time. The wine tasting menu was delicious! I wasn't blown away by the food but I would definitely like to try the supper or brunch menu next time. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and relaxing where you want to stay awhile. So glad my husband and I chose this winery as one of our stops on our anniversary trip.

We drove up here from Ventura. We needed a day trip to get away. Stress release accomplished! This place has such great customer service. You are greeted with a smile and great attitudes. Everyone was so sweet. We had a cheese board and a bottle of champagne. My friend treated us! Such a awesome place to enjoy wonderful company. Loved it. We will be back again!

The food was delicious!!! The steak melts in your mouth, the risotto's is superb and the couscous with fish!!! Must try you won't get disappointed. One thing is unique at ROBLAR is that they have unique flavors and ingredients fresh from their farm like the Roblar salad it's so good. Thank you to chef JAM MAGTANONG fir making our dinner SUPERB!!! Wonderful menus!! And to our SERVERS of course who are friendly and accommodating. We definitely come back again and bring more friends.

Had a wonderful wine tour here! Amazing food and great service! Loved seeing the flowers and huge zucchini's growing! Beautiful grounds and setting even met a nice cowboy Cheers!

This review is for Scott! Wow. Honestly usually when I do a wine tasting I fall asleep at the responses and try to taste as quickly as possibly, but Scott's stories and explanations of the wines are so entertaining and informative! We have done over 20 wine tastings over the years and it's the only one we became a wine club member of.. because of Scott. The wine is also good. The place is beautiful too - but everyone in this area has a beautiful spot with good wine IMO - thank you GRAPE SCOTT - we will be back

This is our new No. 1 winery. So good, went twice this weekend. Total game changer. Excellent wines and delicious grenache, incredible BLT, giant oak trees, overflowing garden, super friendly servers, great architecture. Execution here is a 10. Flawless. Go here 1st, go early, you'll stay for hours.

Our experience was amazing. Daniel was our server and made great recommendations. We had the BLT a charcuterie board, a beautiful salad, and a lovely pasta dish. Loved all of the wine pairings. The setting is spectacular and Daniel made our lunch extra special.

Service was excellent, and the winery was pretty. However, none of the wines during our tasting were enjoyable to us. Frankly, we just did not like it at all, and felt it was a waste of money due to this. That being said, the place was gorgeous and I'm sure many people DO enjoy their wines. Parking was also very easy and convenient.

This location is absolutely beautiful! We tried the hummus and it had beautiful season vegetables on it. The wine was good too. I highly recommend this place!

The family and I stopped by Roblar Winery today. The Mrs. discovered that they served food. Apparently, one of the very few wineries that do in the Santa Ynez Valley from what our greatserver, Richard, told us. Our reservation was for 12:30. The hostess sat us at a great table in the patio area. By the time arrived the rain had stopped. Richard stopped by and went over the tasting menu and told us how good the food was. We ordered the Chickpea Fritters, the cheese board, and the Italian sausage pizza. The Chickpea Fritters were incredible. Even kiddo loved them. So much so we ordered two plates. The pizza was incredible. Thin crust with crispy edges. Lightly topped with cheese, sausage, and basil. The cheese board needs some work. We ordered two desserts. One was a lemon something and the other was a s'mores, but not like the kind you're used to. The tasting was $15 for the classic and $20 for the reserve. The wines were good. We walked out with two bottles of Sangiovese.

Hands down my favorite of the whole weekend winery exploration. I love that their menu is farm to table style, everything we had tasted very fresh. Their rose stole my heart of the wine tasting we did as well. Service was friendly and knowledgeable of the wines. They had many large parties from bachelorette to birthdays, many forms of entertainment while we tasted. Would definitely be back and recommend this small hidden gem

We stopped in on our way home from a weekend in Paso. This winery hit all the points for us. Ambiance: absolutely lovely. The gardens, the outdoor spaces... beautiful, charming, rustic.. but refined. Bathrooms were clean and well cared for. Food: wow wow wow. Everything we ordered (Sunday brunch) was perfectly balanced, presented beautifully and portions were perfect for sharing a few dishes as a light meal. Kudos to Chef Peter Cham, you impressed some real critics! The wine tasting was perfection. We enjoyed all the wines equally. Service: this was Radical Hospitality! W were well taken care of by the staff, Jenifer was personable, knowledgeable and attentive. Sylvia really stood out also as knowledgeable and engaging. In all, this winery was a highlight and is a must stop when going to Los Olivia! Cheers!

Went in for a tasting reservation and even though I didn't end up tasting this was an unforgettable experience. The grounds were breathtaking, as was the ambiance. The service was also incredible by our server Brian and the hummus plate / bread and butter was top notch. Brian mentioned how the veggies are fresh picked from their garden each day, and the taste of the veggies backed this claim. his was my first time in Buellton and I'll definitely be back

Always love to go to Santa Ynez for a weekend get away with my hubby. Wine tasting is our goal. We keep coming back to Roblar winery this place is beautiful and their wines are great . I love their merlot and bubbly rose. Our favorite host is Nancy always nice and helpful. She knows her wines and can give you a fair description of what you about to taste... she always go the xtra mile to make us feel at home. Prices are fair and the food is great !

Hubby and I came here for our anniversary. We were in town and were recommended this place so we came during lunch time. We didn't know it's best to have a reservation but luckily they had a table available for us. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable and the ambiance is so beautiful. We sat outside and it felt like we were in Napa with beautiful rustic setting and grape vines all around. We did a wine tasting and added a cheese board. The wines were amazing and that cheese board tasted like more! We ended up adding a turkey sandwich to share and let me tell you that was not your everyday average turkey sandwich. The bread tasted fresh and was slightly charred and the turkey it's was great quality and all the other toppings complemented each other perfectly! I could eat that every day and be so happy. We also added the fresh baked cookies so delicious! We loved our lunch date here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Been members here for several years, never a disappointment. They always have a good selection of wines and the service is always excellent. If your new to wine or been drinking wine for awhile you will find something you like.

We had our first visit at Roblar doing some wine tasting with another couple who just became members. Great experience, we'll be back again. The building itself is really nice, beautiful lobby with a large central tasting bar and scattered tables for food and drink. We chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. Their patio is really well done with lots of casual seating areas, overhead shade and a central water fountain. They have a number of couch seating spots, and we chose one of those. "Gia" helped us with our wine. She had a great, outgoing personality and did a great job explaining each wine as we went through the tasting. There was no rush and we were able to sit and chat while we did our tasting. The wines were very good, and in the end, we purchased several bottles. They have a good food menu on Saturdays, and we ordered their shrimp/garlic toast to eat while we tasted. The bread is fresh, soft and drenched in an incredible sauce, topped with shrimp. As a deviled egg lover, I ordered theirs, and was pleasantly surprised by the eggs topped with smoked salmon and chives. They were really good. We didn't order their pizza, but we saw lots of them. They do them in a brick pizza over and they look very good. They also delivered some good looking chartuterie plates around us. The patio is dog-friendly, as well. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable place to spend an hour or so. The staff is excellent, the food very tasty and the wines were on point. Try them out!

This was our first time to Roblar. First off, the winery and property as a whole is gorgeous (great photo taking spots throughout). Everyone working there is friendly and made us feel welcome. My mom & I both enjoyed wine tasting here. They have a great variety of wine and you can distinctly taste the different notes. They don't merely blend together. I'm a big fan of their sister winery and coming here, Roblar did not disappoint. I also saw a few bachelorette groups and they have perfect seating to accommodate. I also enjoyed their margarita pizza which I highly recommend. All fresh ingredients and the basil is spectacular.

Really had a nice experience at Roblar's Sunday brunch! Had salmon, Benedict that was just as great as it was displayed! Also had scrambled eggs and bacon due to gluten intolerance. We were very happy with our entrées, and had a very pleasant winetasting to go along with it.. the ambience couldn't have been better and our server Scott was great! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our visit to Roblar! The inside was cozy with the tall ceilings and a fire roaring but we decided to head outside under the pergola and enjoy our wine and lunch in the sunshine that was peaking through the clouds. The grounds are beautiful. It was peaceful being surrounded by vineyards with a flower covered pergola above our heads--absolutely picturesque. Brian was our tasting room associate and he truly made our experience outstanding! So educational, attentive and funny. We loved learning and chatting with him. All the wines were exquisite, particularly the Cab Franc. Brian even offered our designated driver non-alcoholic options. And the lunch--yum! Everything was brought to us by Ethan who delivered it promptly to our table. My mom and I loved the grilled cheese and BLT. My husband said the tri tip sandwich (a special that day) was one of the best meals he has had in a long time. We joined the wine club and will definitely be back to this great spot!

First time wineros, so we each went with a $25 5 sample flight. All were good, some better than others. Scott made it most memorable for us. His wine knowledge, personality checked off all the boxes. Brunch was delicious. We took home a Triomphe, Chardonnay and will likely order more online before Christmas. Thanks Roblar Winery and Scott.

There is nothing on the menu that you could go wrong with. All entries are a #10. Sunday brunch is good that we went back 2 weeks in a row!! I waffle between the eggs Benedict and the bacon sandwich.

Beautiful, relaxing, and great wine, all rolled into one good place to go. It's in a very picturesque area, and I love their Syrah and warm olives!!

Stunning winery! Inside and outside seating is beautiful! If you are going for a tasting call and make a reservation. David, the manager told me people are making reservations about 2 weeks in advance. This is the place to be for sure. Staff is cheerful, friendly and so very helpful. They have so many lovely offerings and though it's not listed on their website (that I could find) they offer gift cards at any dollar amount! I picked up 3 today to give as gifts!
