Robuchon au Dôme

"Its lofty position atop the Grand Lisboa hotel lets diners take in breathtaking views and is a great setting for the renowned contemporary French cuisine. Choose the 7- or 10-course degustation menu at dinner; or one of the sets at lunch. Dishes are intricate, beautifully plated and pack an array of intense flavours, with the stunning dessert trolley providing a fitting finale. The restaurant boasts one of the best wine lists in Asia." - Michelin Inspector

Very impressive three star Michelin restaurant situated at the top floor of Grand Lisboa Hotel. The service was impeccable, the waiter explained every dish and came every once in a while to check if we're enjoying the food. Live piano music played by a proper pianist is the cherry on top. The food was great, especially the appetizers and the starters. The mains were also good, but we were getting full at that point. To be honest, I've probably visited more than 20 Michelin starred restaurants but I've never seen anything like the dessert cart they have here, really have to see it once in your life.

A French old rich classic. An already amazing experience, but I expected a higher and better overall in terms of standards, with less restraints, limitations, and more freedom of choice to choose and experience everything showcased, in order for it to be passed as a 3 Michelin star experience above all the 2 and 1 stars I have tried. The dinner was approx US$500+ per pax. With a glass of wine + 2 signature menu. The seasonable menu was interesting, but since it was our first attempt, we went for the classic to check it off. The classic menu was extremely rich in every sense.. butter, lobster, caviar, foie gras, steak, pastry, cakes, ice cream, wine.. It’s an experience. The showcase of the chandelier at this top floor of grand Lisboa was amazing. Though view outside of the window was restricted that night due to weather, the old charming setting was private enough and nicely set up. By the end of the dinner.. I must say, it made me feel rich in every sense, taste, experience, food. It’s something to try to test my own limit to richness in food.

Robuchon au Dôme , a three Michelin stars restaurant is one of the best restaurant that I’ve been so far. It is undeniably expensive, even by fine dining standards, but, if you prioritize taste, variety, quality and sheer indulgence, you will find it worth the splurge. If you enjoy wine, Rabuchon has an immense and exclusive wine collection. Try the by-the-glass options which is slightly less pricey. The bread trolley is a standout— it's one of the most extensive and beautifully crafted bread selections you'll find anywhere. The same goes for the dessert and mignardises (Petit Fours) trolley, which offers pastries, chocolates, and sweets, all prepared with precision. Overall, the experience is indulgent, with meticulously plated dishes that balance classic French techniques with contemporary touches. Make sure you make a booking in advance, before flying in.

With Joel Robuchon hk still under revamp till Sep25 (according to Chef Julian), we went for Robuchon Au Dome in Macau for a weekdays lunch. You’ll get everything you’d expected from them and more: 1) services - impeccable services from greetings to understanding their customers and all the way towards the very fine details about temperature, gestures, when to give advice, provided a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. 2) wine and sommelier: I believe they hv a way bigger/better wine collection than most of the restaurants in the world, with very knowledgeable sommelier, we left the selection to her with great confidence, and of course, it was perfect. 3) leave space for bread, desserts, sweets, cheese whichever way you choose you number of courses. Every single item has their own distinctive trolley display. Very busy but pleasantly indulging experience. Don’t know about you, but we will definitely be back just for this, and prepare for a 3hr pleasant lunch and an extra 2hrs of walking afterwards. One of the best in the world

Every moment is served with care and love~ I was here 6 yrs ago during babymoon, now I am back again to celebrate the birthday of my younger sister. Totally impressive from the reception entrance to the table experience. The restaurant is super classy and luxury with the expansive view from the high floor and massive crystal chandelier in the middle of the circular restaurant. Yet, it gave out somewhat age/ antiquity, dark, and Gotham city sort of vibes. Yeah, truly grandiose space from the era gone by kind thing. There was no bad table here because it is just which view you prefer. The service was what expected from 3 Michelin star. Quiet and elegance with perfect timing. The staff was accommodating and polite (I arrived when my dad was in the midst of wanting to move to more private table but carry the current view with us. Imagine!) The food was excellent in quality or in presentation. However, the main courses were divine. The best chateaubriand in my life and 1/2 of it was foie gras. The lamb was phenomenal. I can’t say much about the bread, my mom attempted to have her meal togo cuz she devoured the breads.

Had lunch here and had the best 3-Michelin star restaurant experience. The best dish for me was the caviar entree. See my pictures of our food parade on the degustation. Don’t forget to make reservations before coming, 3 months in advance to save your seats.

While staying at the amazing Grand Lisboa Resort, we we're invited to check out the rooftop restaurant, whilst there we met the owner and Head Chef Kwok Keung who invited us to dine and rate his new menu, not only did we get to try 12 courses of a 8 set menu, our feedback was used to create his new cuisine "A Symphony of Senses". It was a total honor to experience, the food, the views and the service is second to none and Kwok is a grand master who deserves every award he has received.
