This place was amazing. The best club sandwich I’ve ever had. My partner got the chicken fried steak and eggs and we were both so impressed. We shared a slice of French toast and it melted in our mouths. The food quality was top notch. Even the to go box was quality and not plastic. The music was just the right volume to enjoy and still have a conversation. The art and murals were incredible. I can tell that this place was very intentional with everything that they do. It was absolutely delicious with a full bar. I am very picky and not easy to please when it comes to food and this place blew my mind. I can’t wait to go back.

My family was in Sacramento one night travelling and were searching for somewhere to eat. We saw this place’s stunning designs and realized it was too cool to pass up. We were greeted extremely warmly by the staff; it’s rare that you go into a new restaurant and the staff is genuinely happy to see you there. Their menu had many creative offerings as well as standout deals. One highlight was elevated clubhouse-like all-day breakfast and equally well-designed vegetarian and vegan options. The $5 jungle juice special was delicious and more than generous for our party. Overall, the staff imbued a sense of place, where they knew what they as a team were about. They made the restaurant the welcoming, inviting, and impressive experience a restaurant creator hopes for. I wish I lived close enough to visit regularly and share this treasure with my friends, but I am hoping some of you see this and do yourself the favor of checking it out for yourselves. 😊 ✨ 🌠 ~ P.S. I couldn’t resist sharing some of my favorite details of the wall art!! ~

Completely loved the vibe! Surreal art and pop culture bleeding into classic Americana. Open late for those still transversing various dimensional planes with visuals that will keep you safe. The food has flavor, portions are fair. Gravy on the biscuits & gravy didn’t cover a lot of biscuit. So might have to ask for extra- we caught more of gristle/fat/tallow over your more creamy take on gravy. The pot roast Hit! I cleaned the bowl! It just pulled apart under the weight of my fork. The turkey club was saved by the bread. That’s the stand out ingredient on this item. For us; bacon was over cooked & crumbled, American cheese & turkey were overpowered by mayonnaise.. but the bread they use *chefs kiss

Oh Wow! When pulling into the parking lot, you would be amazed at the mural drawings on the building. When entering there are murals on the walls on the inside as well including the bathroom, by the way which, were clean. Our server Debbie was by far one of the best I've encountered in a while. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, two orders of the Joes Special and the Vegetable Scramble with a side order of Sausage Links. The food was served heat hot, seasoned to perfection. Mmmm good. Hats off to the Chef We will definitely be back.

Google
I really love this place! Every meal I had, was delicious. The atmosphere and price are amazing for the great quality of the food and drinks I was given. This will be one of my favorite diners I have ever experienced. I will of course be coming back for more! Oh and happy Pie Day!

Google
Excellent food at a reasonable price. The double cheeseburger was amazing. Great fries. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. We'll be back!!

Google
ROC&SOL was such a welcome surprise. The food selections are awesome and the portions are guaranteed to fill you up. The vibe is relaxed and chill, with a great mix of music playing... and not too loudly either. Our server, Alexis, was phenomenal and extremely helpful - giving us the lowdown on what's popular, how often the specials repeat, and perfect recommendations on dessert. We will definitely be back because there are several items I'm hankering to get.

Google
When I came in, I wasn’t expecting the best, but they did have good reviews. I had the ribeye, which was not bad and the customer service and the atmosphere is great. I think some items are better than others. But it’s basically American food. From hamburgers, steaks to waffles and pancakes. If ur Looking for a good spot for a good meal not that bad. I would have given them a five star, but the food was not top-tier but good enough. But obviously my opinions is based on the food that we got. Which was the ribeye and a chicken meal. Both were four star. But they have other items on the menu which I did not try so I will give them the opportunity in the future when I try different things. Lol

Yelp
They hosted our bookclub. They had the event room decorated super cute and we had a specialty drink for our event.

Yelp
Cute vibes, good service, and thanks for hosting sac book and sip club!! We love the location!

Yelp
Great location, inclusive to our book club and allowed us to collaborate at their restaurant.

Yelp
Had brunch at Roc & Sol Diner today and it totally hit the spot! I ordered the Joe's Special, plus sides of French toast, blueberry pancake, eggs, and bacon because why not sample a little bit of everything? Everything was fresh and tasty! The Joe's Special was hearty and flavorful, the French toast was fluffy and golden, and the blueberry pancake was perfectly sweet. The bacon was nice and cooked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and on top of things, and the diner had a vibrant twist. Not quite your typical diner in the decor, but definitely a nice typical diner in the atmosphere and staff. Definitely a great local spot for classic comfort food!

Yelp
Love the interior of this place and the variety of food available. mix of modern decore w an old school feel. Their menu runs all day so you could have pasta at 8am! Unfortunately dropping some stars because the cubano sandwich had horrible meat. Pork was just mushy fat. Breakfast sausage was a bit different than standard too. Having said that,I would try something else if I was in the area. Service was prompt and decent.

Yelp
If you're looking for diner food, this is your place! I like that they offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also offer a variety of different specials so it feels a little bit more budget friendly when you're dining out frequently. The gal pals and I decided to do a weekday brunch, and we found ourselves wanting to try almost everything on the menu. We opted to get the artichoke dip as an appetizer while we were trying to figure out what everyone was having. The warm artichoke dip is pricey for what it is, but it was pretty tasty. And the chips that they serve with the dip, worked really well with the dip. I ordered a Shirley Temple because when at a diner... It was OK, but I don't know if it was the maraschino cherries, or the grenadine syrup, but there was something off about the drink. No harm no foul it's just a drink. I ordered the French toast with the side of bacon. The bacon was the right call. It was made absolutely too perfection. It was crisp where it needed to be. It was tasty, and my only criticism is that I of course, would've liked more because who doesn't want more bacon?! The French toast wasn't bad and tasted very homemade. I think I wanted a little bit of cinnamon or just something on the French toast, but it was tasty. My friend that I was sitting next to ordered the hashbrowns and scramble. She tried some of my French toast, and I tried some of her scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. I found the scrambled eggs to be way over Dawne and just something that I would've not enjoyed how to been my own meal. The hashbrowns were OK, but definitely tasted like from the freezer to the fryer type of potatoes. That's not horrible, but I think I wanted more of that at home taste. She kind of felt the same way. Service was great, and our waitress was incredibly attentive. Bonus points because while the restaurant is downtown, they have their own private parking lot and free parking! So it just really encourages you to frequent the restaurant and enjoy their tasty food!

Yelp
We hosted a monthly book club here and let me tell you I am specifically looking for events to host and have them here. We were so well taken care of and the side room was perfect for our small group. Our service was incredible and the ladies were patience and kind even during our craziness. The food and menu was so fun and had a little something for everyone. This is an absolute winner in the area!

Yelp
Randy from Shaft has been telling me for months that I needed to go here for the Reuben sandwich. Everything he told me is true. The sandwich and fries plate is, indeed, enough to share. The Reuben is delicious. Thinly sliced corned beef piled on high, perfectly sauced, cheesed, and sauerkrauted. The fries are thin, crispy, not too salty, and plentiful. The restaurant is also an art gallery! Comfortable, and reminds me of the kind of diners that I loved growing up. Anna, our lovely server, is attentive, engaging, and an all around great person. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all served during the business hours. And it's open on Mondays!

Yelp
Loved our visit today. No wait. Got a cute booth. Got coffee pretty quickly and had our server check in at a frequency that was perfect. We both got the chorizo scramble and that was the right call. The hash browns were so good today! Perfectly crispy and flavorful without being mushy. The chorizo had better flavor last time we had it (not sure if they switched the brand the use) but the flavor of the rest of the meal made up for it. Coffee was also solid- not burnt at all. Refills without any problems.

Yelp
Sunday breakfast. Yes, I recommend it. The French toast =delicious, the-best-ever!! Breakfast burrito is good and tasty, smoky, avocado something amazing sauce I don't know! Eggs Benedict oh my awesome! Our server was so nice, all the staff were 5/5 stars. The place was clean cool 80's 50's decor or something . It was good. TVs at the time had nfl on which was nice. Plenty of parking too.

Yelp
A modern take on the old style coffee shop restaurant in midtown Sac. Open late on Friday and Saturday for those after-party munchies. They also own an art/event gallery a few blocks over, and the creative vibe is part of the diner as well. While I would have no issue going again, our visit was a little hit and miss. I had the Joes Special, and my wife did Eggs Benedict. THE PROS: We went late-morning on a Saturday and had a real good server. The coffee was fresh, hot, and quite wonderful. The bacon was a bit thick, not too salty and delicious. The portions were large, and service was prompt. The menu had a lot of classic American dishes. THE CONS: While hopefully not a common issue, they had some kind of sewer problem the day we visited. The less-than-appetizing aroma was both outside and near the entrance and rest rooms. Both of us had the same thought about our orders: big portions, nice presentation, but far less flavor than the ingredients would suggest. And not sure why. On paper they should have been amazing. BOTTOM LINE: I really want to recommend Roc and Sol, and I'm willing to think our visit was an off day. I can totally see coming here for late night and it hitting the spot, but on this visit it was just average. Rating: 4.5/10

Yelp
We were seated right away. Our server Darian & Clare they both had excellent personalities and service. The atmosphere is so delightful especially the art on the walls. We ordered the Double Cheese Burger with mixed green salad also an order of Eggs Benedict. The food as always was delicious. We will be back again.

Yelp
Booooom! Breakfast so bomb! We stopped in for an early morning breakfast & what a delight - busy but not slammed (no wait) food was so delish and service was friendly and spot on! This spot has all the vibes - regardless of time of day it's cool!!
google avatar

Yelp
Service was good, however... We ordered the bowl of clam chowder and pancakes. The pancakes looked amazing, but lacked overall depth and flavor. Very chewy. The "bowl" of chowder was merely an over-celebrated cup. It was super watery like a soup, not a chowder. It was the saltiest 'chowder' I have ever tasted. We have been eyeing this place for a while and unfortunately it didn't pull through.

Yelp
Saturday at Roc & Sol Diner with good friends and good food and good atmosphere! We arrived around noon and were able to be seated for 4 right away. All the staff we interacted with were so friendly. The menu was small enough not to be overwhelming, but it was still hard to choose! (in a good way though). There was something for everyone to enjoy. I ordered the club sandwich with french fries - the club itself was really vibrant, everything was so fresh and displayed really well. The fries were the skinny shoe string fries that personally are my favorite. My husband loves reuben sandwiches, but has a deep hatred for rye bread and when he asked for "bread alternatives" they obliged! There was a ton of options and they even offered brioche bread to which his eyes lit up and he started drooling so when they delivered a reuben on brioche, it may have been a first. So the food was awesome, decor was AWESOME, and people were awesome too! Can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
on it's a appeal alone, this place is SO COOL. Major props to whoever designed/decorated this place. It's eye catching, exciting, cool, entrancing, and such a vibe. It's the elevated retro diner experience. I stopped by on a weekday morning around 8:30am and pretty much had the place to myself which was nice. The menu has all of the classic items of a old school diner like steak and eggs, giant waffles, patty melts, and a rotating soup selection. This particular day I was craving lunch so I ordered the "Oregon Blue" salad which is a buffalo chicken blue cheese salad. The chicken is dry fried, meaning no bread crumbs or batter, but there was still a strong buffalo flavor - not sure how they did it, but it was great! I also ordered the beef and barley soup which really hit the spot on a cold spring morning. The waitress was really nice and I had an amazing experience. If i was a local I'd definitely be back!

Yelp
Roc & Sol is more than deserving of a 5-star review! My partner and I came by for Sunday brunch, and it was our second time visiting. This time around, it was busier; however, we didn't wait more than 10 minutes to get seated in a cozy window booth. My partner and I ordered the chicken fried steak (he ordered the breakfast and I ordered the dinner version). Pro tip: both are available all day! We also ordered coffees. To share, we ordered the creme brûlée French toast after reading the rave reviews, and I can definitely vouch that this is a must! The texture was so creamy, flavorful, and rich. I didn't even need to add the syrup that it came with on the side! Another tip, download the Roc & Sol app to accrue points and treat yourself to 20% off your tab as a welcome gift. What an awesome deal!

Yelp
I think my family and I just found our new favorite breakfast spot. We went in on a random Saturday and love the environment right away. There's a lot of beautiful art outside of the building and inside. The customer service was great as we were greeted, instantly seated, and then drink orders were taken in a reasonable amount of time. My mother-in-law and I ordered the two eggs she got bacon added to hers. I just kept mine simple and plain. My husband ordered the patty melt and absolutely loved it. If you like thin fries, you'll definitely like the fries that they serve at this restaurant as they are thin and stringy. I highly recommend that you check out this restaurant. I know I will be back probably different times of the day to order different kinds of food.

Yelp
This was a great spot. We loved the decor! Great ambiance. Service was good. Food was tasty. I would try something else next time. I got a special with Waffles and Gravy but it was just fine. The hash browns were killer though. Eggs cooked perfectly.

Yelp
Pretty cool vibe place for q meal....kind of like what a diner in the 1980s thinks what the future will look like. They had sports on some tvs, which seemed a tad out of place, but overall pretty cool. My mom and I both got an omelet. I was disappointed because I was hoping for biscuits and gravy, but they put onions in the gravy. Not a knock on them, I just can't eat onions. The cheese omelet was nothing special, but it was good. Typical, tasty, but nothing to write hone about. The creme brulee French toast was amazing....although I didn't understand the creme brulee label....I didn't taste creme brulee, but I tasted fantastic French toast. Think typical American diner food in a tripped out setting. We had a good meal, and I'm curious to come back here to try their dinner options.

Yelp
We had a very good breakfast here on Wednesday mid-morning. Our server was quick and took our order. Our meal was excellent as my wife had waffles and I had a standard egg and sausage plate. There was more than ample quantities of food and it was all very tasty. We have been looking for a breakfast place in the downtown area, and I think we found one. This is worth another try in the near future. By the way the restaurant was very spacious and there were many tv screens all around the room. Our servers and helpers were fine and very helpful, even though our main server, seemed to have forgotten us a couple of times. Others filled in quite capably.

Yelp
Another great breakfast at Roc & Sol. Got their chicken fried steak, generous sized steak and so crunchy. Gravy adds that extra yum. This breakfast will fill you up. Great service also.

Yelp
Celebrated one of the most beautifulest souls I know, 20th #Cancerversary ! I don't know about you, but I go where I am loved, respected, and appreciated! Today, we dined at ROC & SOL 1825 10th Street Sac, CA 95811. What a wonderful treat and hidden gem in midtown. The food hit the spot. Diner style, great food choice options. Food to warm the soul during the holiday cheer. The service was great! Our server Darian was pleasant and attentive. She made sure our food was hot to order and ready to serve. The Ambiance was holiday festive. We had the opportunity to hang out with owner Matt Haines, a longtime friend of Rev. Tammie. He made the celebration ten times the fun with key lime ‍ pies to go! Happy to know #Sacramento has given me yet another reason to dine in city! ROC & SOL!!! YOU ROCK

Yelp
Came here for my first outing of the new year! It was ok. The service was decent. Typical diner in terms of ambiance. Though I will give them a thumbs up for having a tv with the football game playing. I had the eggs Benedict, it was pretty good. The eggs were poached to perfection . The hash browns was pretty salty and I have a pretty high tolerance for salt. My nephew had the chicken friend steak. I was able to get a sliver of it and it was okay too. They are generous with their serving, that I do want to point out. .

Yelp
Food for your (roc &) sol. I've been here a couple of times and always for a group gathering. Groups can be hard to handle, but they always do amazing work providing friendly service and freshly prepared food. Portions are huge but prices are not. ;)
google avatar

Yelp
Worth checking out. This is our first time here. It's a nice location downtown. Next to old ironsides as well as Elixer. The ambience is very nice and welcoming. There's also some very nice artwork inside to check out while you're eating. As well as TVs. The food was pretty good. The berries that the pancakes came with were definitely fresh. And the Joe's special was pretty good. The hash browns were cooked great. Very tasty with a good crunch. Overall pretty good and worth checking out. I'd definitely like to come back and try out the lunch. The waiter had excellent customer service and was very attentive. There is lot's of parking available it seemed like. .

Yelp
This place is great - we've been going to it for years, since it opened. I love the relaxed atmosphere, the service (and owners) are all really nice, and the food is phenomenal. Highly recommend the crème brûlée french toast, the giant pretzel with mustard aioli, and their hash browns. It can get a little busy during peak brunch hours but we love coming mid-afternoon when it's calm. They're helpful with accommodating big groups - we've had game nights there where and they were so welcoming and interested in what we were playing. Also love the aesthetics, it's a really cool/funky diner! (As a bonus, I loved Bistro 33 in Davis many years ago and was so sad when it closed so it's great to see some of my favorite meals from there on this menu!)
google avatar

Sheree H.

Yelp
Another amazing experience at Roc & Sol. Took mom and the kids to brunch as I knew the vibes and food would be top notch. Ambiance is always bright, clean and upscale. We were seated right away and given a bucket of crayons and kids menu with coloring page on the back to keep the kiddos busy. My son ordered the fish & chips, he said it was on point. My mom ordered joes scramble and she said it was delicious! We all had a great meal and will absolutely be back. This American diner is my favorite in Sacramento, don't hesitate to give them a try, you'll love it!

Yelp
This place is super awesome. Service is great and the restaurant is super clean. I ordered the meatloaf, and being a meatloaf fan, this is one of the best I've had. Highly recommend

Yelp
Based on Yelp reviews, we decided to check out Roc & Sol Diner on a Saturday night. We figured it was diner food but better quality than a typical diner. And that is what it is. Roc & Sol Diner wasn't very busy and we got a table right away around 7:30 PM. The restaurant has a parking lot and we found a spot easily. We took a look at the menu and what was tempting was the all day breakfast. A lot of breakfast options. Buttermilk pancakes, eggs benedict, creme brulee french toast, omelettes, egg scrambles, and much more. However, we decided on the dinner menu. The three of us had fish & chips, corned beef reuben, and the Saturday night special of roast prime rib dinner. We shared a crab & artichoke dip. All of the items were excellent. Service was also excellent and the waitress checked on us often. The next visit, I think I will try their all day breakfast entrees for dinner. While I like the idea of all day breakfast entrees, I don't like going to Denny's or IHOP to have evening time breakfasts. Just to be aware, Roc & Sol automatically adds a 3% kitchen gratuity to the bill which sounded fair to us. We will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Decided to try a new place for breakfast. Stopped by during the week. Plenty of parking. Clare was our server. Super sweet and checked on us often. We tried ham and cheddar omelette as well as eggs Benedict. Food came out quickly. The ham steak was bone in and very thick. The hash browns were thick and had a nice crunch to it. Portion size was incredible. Filled us up for the entire day. Vibe is artsy and fun. Easy listening music in the background. Received $5 off bill for signing up on app. What a treat! Will be back.
google avatar

krista h.

Yelp
Came to watch the kings game. Just know that they don't have the sound on the tvs, instead they play music. Ordered the queso dip with chorizo. $12. BuBuffalo chicken salad $15 has 5 pieces of chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and chopped walnuts. A fantastic salad. Club sandwich $15 has ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese. Kinda thick to eat, but very good. Fries are thin and crispy! Service is always friendly. We've hahad great luck with service.

Yelp
I came secretly on my day off after hearing raving reviews among co-workers. It's honestly SUCH A VIBE! I can only imagine what the night vibe would be like. You yelpies have to check out the restroom. What an artwork. I was going to take photos, but there were people behind me doing their thing at the urinals, which was not so demure, and I didn't want a reflection of that on my selfie shot. Namm sayinn... Now, here's what I think: Pros: -You have to wait to be seated; you have the bar option or a booth station. -Friendly staff -Clean bathroom -The music ambiance is moderately acceptable. -Offers a reward system: if you download the app, the more you dine with Roc&Sol, the more you get rewarded with discounts. -There is plenty of free parking at their lot during non-peak times, and some parking is also available on nearby streets. And I highly recommend the Joe's Special, it's soOOooo good! ;) hahahha.. Cons: -There is no discount for Military personnel, Veterans, First responders, or seniors. However, they offer a discount on your first meal when you download the "Roc&Sol" rewards App. Now the question is, will I be back? Of course. Business hours are as follows below: Sunday-Thursday: 8am - 9pm Friday & Saturday: 8am - Midnight Business phone number for reservations if needed: 916-848-0040 Enjoy!!!! :)

Yelp
Roc & Sol has my heart.. and stomach! I've recently had an obsession with this place and been here more times than my body would like. The ambiance, artwork, and food are all transcending! Parppardelle Pasta Bolognese 5/5* This pasta doesn't look like much, but let me tell ya. As if the spacey murals weren't enough, this pasta is out of this world! The thin ribbons of noodles have the perfect al dente consistency of freshly made pasta and the sauce is divine. The tomato cream sauce isn't heavy, but the chunks of sausage and sweet peppers are so rich in flavor. This is how Italian sausage is done.. robust, herby, and I had a bite where I tasted fennel? This pasta is on par with those at Italian restaurants. Dreams and drools! The Puget Sound 5/5* This is like crab artichoke dip in a sandwich form. SO creamy!! Perfectly buttered and toasted sourdough bread. Although the crispy skinny fries are very hard to resist, pair it with a salad instead to help balance out the creaminess. Baked Goat Cheese 4/5* The goat cheese and pesto are very subtle, no twang. The sun dried tomato pesto looks like chorizo and very dark, but not too flavorful. The cheese is so fluffy and creamy. The sprinkling of tasted cheddar adds an extra crisp to the toasted baguette slices. Creme Brulee French Toast 5/5* First time I had this, my eyes were bulging in Mmmness. So toasty and crispy, packed with buttery salty sweetness! The second time, the French Toast wasn't as crispy and not as satisfying, so make sure to ask for extra toasty. It had enough flavor you don't even need the maple syrup. Roasted Meatloaf w/Cayenne Aioli 4/5* The meatloaf was firmer and a smaller portion than I thought it would be, but was flavorful and a nice spin on classic meatloaf with the added cayenne aioli. It came with some creamy mashed potatoes and crisp green beans. Slow Roasted Prime Rib Dip 3/5* There was a good meat to bread ratio, but it's your basic french dip and nothing memorable. The au jus was a potent beefy broth, but without it, the prime rib sandwich was plain and lacked flavor. Key Lime Pie 1/5* This just wasn't it for me. Too thick and sweet, not enough zesty sourness to it. They should drop the "Diner" from their name because this is no diner food. Their menu is extensive and delicious. You can really feel the love put into each dish and sometimes you'll even get to talk to owner, Matt, as he walks around. The Bolognese Pasta, though is where it's at! It's so delicious, it keeps me coming back week after week. And best of all, there's daily specials and DJ nights!

Yelp
Food: Been in Sac for two years now, I would say this is my favorite breakfast joint. Not usually a big eggs benedict fan, but there was just something different (in a good way) about this one. Rather than cuts of ham, you get a nice slab of ham over two english muffin slices and obviously topped with poached eggs. It was done well. The hash browns had a casserole quality to them, which is not my preference, but they were still solid. Not too greasy or too undercooked. I accompanied my EB with the new england clam chowder. It was fine. Just fine. Service: Sat the bar, so it was pretty quick. Waitresses were friendly and conversational. There was a good pace to the meal Ambiance: I was actually surprised when I walked in. In my opinion, the building and outside decor are pretty unimpressive. I remember driving by this place and being like "why would I go to a place like that?" Definitely a high end diner feel (if that's a thing) The inside has all the "diner" things, but it felt modern and clean at the same time. Final thoughts: Consistent, solid, quality breakfast. The inside is great. Decent alcoholic drink options for those fiending for a boozy breakfast/brunch or for a drink after work (opens at 8am)

Yelp
I still love this place. The owner is a great guy. The pasta, prime rib, pot roast, fish & chips, mozzarella sticks, biscuits & gravy... you can't go wrong either way. The prices are amazing for portion size & quality. I love the comfy seating and ambiance. My only tiny wish is that the water cups were larger. You have to try this place out!

Yelp
The food , atmosphere, and service was excellent . They serve delicious breakfast food all day . They were open late until midnight on Friday , had a DJ playing music . The cream brule French toast was amazing , and the vegetable egg scramble and hash browns were also great . Highly recommended and I will definitely be back .

Eggs Benedict was excellent - poached egg wasn't too runny, and topped off with a thick slice of ham! Can't go wrong with the traditional French toast as well. Eclectic ambiance mixed with astronomy and musical artist murals on the wall which transported me to outer space.

Yelp
Fabulous menu options with breakfast and other items served all day. Menu includes but not limited to Crème Brûlée French toast, Eggs Benedict, eggs with biscuits and gravy, fish and chips, Ruben sandwich, burgers, plus nightly specials. I opted for biscuits and gravy with two 2 eggs, hash browns. Excellent homemade biscuits, flavorful gravy, eggs cooked to order, hash browns served a little crunchy. Perfect meal! Large portions, food served fresh and hot not pre cooked, tasted like a home cooked meal. Excellent customer service by Kayla (sp?). Helpful, friendly, regularly checked on us. Service with a smile!!! Funky graffiti like art, cozy comfy tables and booths, cool decor, big screen TV's, etc. and clean bathrooms. As we left we passed by 3 waitstaff people who all thanked us for coming in, asked us to come back.

Yelp
Our server was excellent and very attentive, even while training. The restaurant is always a cool spot with all its artsy atmosphere, and nice seating. This time the 4/5 is for the food. We'll be back to try different breakfast items next time around! The waffle was nice with delicious berries, and the honey butter just added to the sweetness. The waffle is very airy, it didn't have that dense-ness that you sometimes get with a Belgium waffle. I personally thought this was great. I paired the waffle with a side of sunny side up eggs and chicken apple sausage which helped cut the sweetness. I would say the sausage was the best part of the meal, it was juicy and had excellent flavor. My boyfriend got the ham & cheese omelette which wasn't anything to rave about. Very standard, eggs, cheese and chunks of ham. The omelette was pretty plain tasting and lacked any sort of seasoning, which may be intentional since some diets call for less or more of things like salt and pepper. It was better after adding hot sauce, provided at each table. The Bloody Mary was spicy! It was still good but just had an unexpected kick!

Yelp
Amazing, affordable and super filling. So happy with this new spot right in downtown with an awesome atmosphere and plenty of seating. The menu has a great selection of breakfast and lunch options and dinner. We came for brunch but I definitely will be back for one of the dinner specials. Our service was great even for a packed morning. I love the vibe inside which is super casual and family friendly environment. They also have a great mimosa option!

Yelp
I have always passed by this diner every time I am in Sacramento and finally decided to give them a try. The food was pretty good, I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast with French toast on the side. Will say I was surprised how the steak was cooked first the battered and fried. Usually used to cubed steak being used. The customer service was ok. Will give them some grace since it was a busy morning and seemed to be a little under staffed. Our waitress was kind and was doing the best she could with what was given to her. Overall I'd come back. Also I may add, the ambiance in this diner is amazing. I love the overall theme and murals

Yelp
This is my second time coming to this diner. I ordered the SF Joe's special. Although the presentation was very nice, the entire breakfast lacked flavor. The potatoes were cold inside and had no flavor. The eggs were watery and also lacked flavor. I'm hoping that it was just a bad day , and breakfast will be better next time. Service was great and food arrived fast.

Yelp
Overall: 4/5 Food: 3.8/5 Service: 5/5 Price: 3.8/5 Came here for brunch. Got the Double Cheeseburger with an Over Easy Egg, and substituted the fries for a salad. The burger was cooked nicely, the bun was toasted well, the egg was perfect. The only thing is the patties weren't seasoned. I do prefer the meat have some seasoning on it, so I had to whip out that good ol Salt & Pepper. The salad could be better. I was thinking I'd get a traditional side salad with tomatoes, red onions, croutons etc. This salad was just very plain jane. My server's name was Hope. She was very polite and attentive. Overall, good experience. I'd double back!

Yelp
I really don't understand why I have never came to try this restaurant out. I've always seen it while walking by. I was able to finally come try it for breakfast outside of the restaurant looks pretty neat with all kinds of hairspray, painting art inside of the front there's kind of like statue with different bodies figures or whatever the restaurant was very cool chic and and futuristic, which makes it really cool to eat at the restaurant. Food was diner type food and very unique naming and ingredients to make the meal we ordered breakfast, which was really delicious. Also, our alcoholic breakfast drinks were very tasty. The service were really really gray and I'm impressed. I will come back here next time for breakfast.

Yelp
Great service, good food & strong drinks! Chicken pot pie was delicious and a nice sized portion. Also ended the night with the chocolate mousse that was so yummy!

Yelp
Not impressed at all. From service to food to anything really which sucks because the place has potential. Will say the pretzel was really good. The only thing that came out hot and tasty.

Yelp
First visit to Roc & Sol Diner. Attentive servers got us seated pretty quickly. We love the Oregon Blue Cheese salad and follow these folks wherever they offer it. Branched out to try the vegetable scramble with hash brown. Large entrees with lots of vegetables allowed me to take home a generous portion, yum. Pleasant and professional folks. Acoustics pretty good, easy to have conversations. Easy parking. We'll be back.

Yelp
The server was very nice. The food really wasn't that good. I ordered the berry cobbler a la mode and the ice cream was the best part. I also had the meatloaf. It looked good and was presented well, but it wasn't really seasoned. I also ordered coffee and both cups I received were cold. Also, the vibe was off. I'm not sure what theme they were going for, but it was not working.
