Coming from New York, we honestly didn’t expect much from an Italian restaurant abroad. We had heard here and there about Rocco being a bit of a hotspot, but after a long day of sightseeing and realizing we had no reservations anywhere, it ended up being one of the few places still open at 10pm — so we decided to give it a try.
The food was good — not the best Italian of my life, but definitely enjoyable. Drinks were really good. What we loved the most, though, was the interior and the atmosphere: chilled, stylish, and filled with great energy and friendly people.
Overall, it was a perfect “late night, no-stress” dinner. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in Lisbon.
