Great atmosphere, lovely bar, and excellent cocktails. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made for a very welcoming experience. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. Portions were overwhelmingly large, which felt more in line with a casual eatery than a high-end restaurant aiming for quality over quantity. The starters were mixed: – The oysters were disappointingly bland. – The “fall-off-the-bone” pork belly was actually hard and chewy. – The Oysters Rockefeller lacked any oyster flavor at all. – My husband’s scallops were well-cooked, but overly large and too many on the plate, overwhelming the dish. – The bulgur couscous was undercooked and hard. My main course—breaded veal with parmesan and spaghetti—was particularly poor. The portion was enormous, the veal chewy, and drowned in cheese. The tomato sauce tasted like it came straight from a can. Overall, the ambiance and drinks were enjoyable, but the food was a letdown, especially given the expectations set by the restaurant’s atmosphere and pricing.

Everything was amazing for my birthday dinner. Our server was so nice and we enjoyed learning about his home town in Italy. Chicken dinner was delicious. Although was surprised when my “Handheld” checked sandwich with arugula salad on top wasn’t a sandwich. The kids enjoyed their steaks and drinks!! We will be back.

Google
Our favorite special occasion restaurant! Service is always top notch and food always delicious. We came recently to celebrate a birthday. The French onion soup is the BEST Ever!!! It has the most amazing flavor. Oysters and shrimp cocktail very fresh. Our steaks and sides were cooked perfectly and amazing!!! Entrees come with a salad and a side. We always get the Caesar salad and it comes with Parmesan crisps. Even the bread they serve is yum! You have to get a dessert on a birthday - all of them are excellent. Make sure to make a reservation. You can come first come first serve in the bar but it gets crowded. Most highly recommend!!!

My husband's uncle is in his last few months of life (inoperable cancer) and this was on his bucket list to go out for a great steak dinner with family. We've been here many times and the food and service is phenomenal. This was the best steak he ever had, we had such a lovely time there. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful with suggestions!

Started out nice at the bar , good old fashion. Was warm though, air conditioning cannot handle a humid day. $79.00 for a 8 ounce Fillet was way overcooked. My friend and I ordered ours both medium rare and they were both medium well, borderline well done. They did offer to take them back in their defense, but we had already waited more than an hour and they were not even that busy. We asked for something off of the bill instead and they refused, They offered a free desert. If you are going to charge $79.00 for an 8 ounce Fillet you should at the very least cook it correctly. Will not be going back.

We've come here several times within the past 6 years and never have had a bad experience!!! The food is always good especially the caesar salad with the crisps!!! We always tell everyone to come here if they want good food, drinks and service!!

Google
Went here for the first time last night & the food was great! Our server was Billy & he was excellent & very knowledgeable of the menu. The drinks were super tasty… little expensive but worth itttt - I ordered the salmon for dinner which was cooked to perfection. Only negative was that we sat outside under the zipped tent w the fire which was a vibe, but quite loud. Would def come here again!

It’s clear that Rocco’s is a neighborhood go-to. It is packed for happy hour and is a fan favorite for business dinners. They have a great, long bar for sitting plus a bunch of high tops. Additionally they have a covered outdoor porch which is enclosed and heated. For the food, highly recommend the French onion soup. It’s in a crock and quite sizable. But more importantly it’s delicious, one of the best I’ve had. Also recommend the mussels in the coconut Thai broth. While it’s in the starters, they give you 33 mussels in an order. If you want a handheld, the fried chicken sandwich was sweet and crunchy, plus the herb French fries are an extra touch. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Solid meal, we will be back.

Yelp
Came here with a friend and had a nice meal with drinks. We started off with passion fruit martini and old fashioned, both were very good. We had some oysters as an appetizer and it was so delicious. Sweet, not too biney. It wasnt shucked super well so I had to scrape quite a bit with my fork. She has the truffle honey glazed salmon which she enjoyed. I got the veal filet which came with two 4 oz veal filet medallions, grilled asparagus, colossal crab meat, bearnaise sauce. I also got a side of mashed potatoes which were smooth and fluffy. The meat was very tender but the dish was a bit salty. Otherwise, the flavor was very good. Could use a bit more bearnaise sauce.

Yelp
We visited Rocco's for the first time for Valentine's Day and had an 8pm reservation. Props for the complimentary valet! It was understandably packed so we arrived early were offered a table in their outdoor tent - but I wish we opted to wait for a table inside. The outdoor tent, while appreciated to accommodate extra guests and while heated decently for a cold evening, was cheesy and decorated with grocery-store decor and flowers - it felt like a high school dance. Just was not the vibe we were expecting or hoping for. The service was also noticeably slow which I also imagine was a combination of being in the tent and it being a holiday. On the plus side, all of our food was incredible. There were lots of specials and everything we had was delicious. We will absolutely be back just for the food, but will avoid the holiday rush and will opt to sit in their "usual" dining room going forward.

Yelp
Moving back to the area I've heard so many good things about Rocco's but have never been! It completely exceeded all expectations. The restaurant looked so cute decorated for Christmas and our server was so sweet & personable! As an appetizer me and my husband got the chilled king crab legs & raw oysters. I'd probably recommended this as an app for a larger group. There was a lot of crab and we both couldn't finish our dinners from eating so much. Personally a 3 course filet dinner for $59 sounds like a steal to me. The dressing on the caesar salad was enough to have me coming back! The steak, side, & sauce was delicious! We also shared the truffle parmesan fries. I'm sad I didn't have dessert cause I was so full but now I have an excuse to go back.

Yelp
Our intent was to enjoy the foliage -- which we did -- and have lunch in New Hope or across the bridge in Lambertville. Apparently everyone in the tri-state area had the same idea, so we switched gears and ended up in Newtown. As I'm a sucker for lazy al fresco meals, I wanted a restaurant with a nice outdoor area. Without knowing anything about Rocco's we parked the car and walked over, simply because of their patio. If you go for dinner, be prepared to spend. Lunch isn't too bad. While not quite five stars, lunch exceeded four. (My rating is based on the beautiful day -- which has nothing to do with the restaurant -- our unhurried meal and our friendly server.) T's hamburger was cooked exactly as requested, medium. I had a smoked salmon BLT. (Lox!) Pretty good, though I would have preferred a rare filet of unsmoked. Our meals were plated with an overload of seasoned fries, most of which are now in my freezer. I should've asked if I could substitute something else, maybe a small side salad. Our idea of a leisurely meal includes wine. At $45 the house cab was more than I like to spend, particularly for lunch. But it was good and I brought almost half the bottle home. From what I heard, reservations are imperative for dinner. Mid-day Sunday there was plenty of seating, indoors and out.

Yelp
Great steak, need updated sauces. Rocco's sauce literally tasted like glorified BBQ sauce. The Yukon mashed tasted like fake flakey potatoes from a box. Drinks were good. Felt bad for your servers having to wear sleeves to cover their tattoos, tattoos aren't offensive and most of your paying customers have them. Seems like an outdated policy. Maybe you should monitor what your guests wear instead, like hats and n95's in the restaurant. Just weird. Especially if you claim to be a high end place. Go back to ala carte style. Sides were better back then.

Yelp
Went with 8 people on a Saturday night and it was packed ... definitely need a reservation. Complimentary valet. Service was great we were sat right away for our 645 reservation. Our server was honest with his recommendations and timely. We indulged in oysters to start and they were salty yet sweet and a decent size. The Caesar salad, mashed potatoes side & 12 ounce filet mignon steak for 2 offering is great value and deliciousness all around. We Added two crab cakes on as well and we both thought they had a great amount of crab to cake ratio. The ambience was cozy yet robust and lively. Perfect for a date night as the steak for 2 option is definitely a great recommendation for any couple!

Yelp
Waited an hour and twenty minutes for this? Service was slow. Waiter kept kicking me every time he came to the table. We were seated next to two loud guys who kept cursing. We were there so long we had to take the food to go. In the end it was a great steak, but skip the dine-in and take it to go.

Yelp
I recently went in with friends for a 60th birthday party. There were seven of us. What they didn't tell me was that the tip was already included and I tipped on the wrong amount. The next day when we were thinking how ridiculously expensive this dinner was I realized the error. I feel like the server should've told me that the tip was included. It is very dark in there and we were an older group. When I called the manager he apologized and said he would refund the money. But I have gotten nothing back. I have called and emailed. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Never a bad meal at Rocco's! Our waiter Jesse was outstanding. From start to finish he was attentive, helpful and polite. The dinner was outstanding as usual. My husband opted for the burger which is always a favorite of his at Roccos. I had the Reef and Beef special. Filet was cooked perfectly and just melts in your mouth. The lobster was great as well and a decent size. What I love about Rocco's that sets it apart from other high end steakhouses, is Rocco's gives you a salad and a side with your entree. I refuse to go back to Capital Grille for that very reason. With what they charge for the meal, a salad and a side should complete the meal. Roccos for the win! Desserts are amazing as well! Best cheesecake!

Yelp
Out for an anniversary meal. We were seated along the glass windows just inside. Very comfortable and a nice view of the garden. We arrived around 6pm and ordered cocktails. They were brought promptly and well prepared. Service was excellent and well-paced our server was delightful. We started with raw oysters they were fresh, clean and cold. Mains were a veal dish and scallops over risotto. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine with the food. The mains were both delicious and we had some leftovers for lunch the next day. All good. Value was pretty good although at the high end. We left a nice tip. We will return. Nancy & Mark.

Yelp
I created a yelp acct. just to post this. 1st, our service was poor. I do not know the name of our server, because he never told me it. 2nd, we saw our server twice and when our main course ($140 for 2 plates) was delivered, there were no steak knives or condiments for the colossal baked potato that if thrown from a distance could cause blunt force trauma. The steak was good for both of us. But our server sucked. And I also noticed there were no female servers which I thought was odd. I think I would like this place better if verinder was still in charge. The valet boy provided better service than my dingo deliverer - I will not go back or recommend this place the guy who served us in the corner of the glass room was an eejit.

Yelp
Food and service awesome. Private area (ambiance) for the celebration added to the event.

Yelp
I have had mixed experiences with Rocco's. And when it goes wrong it's really disappointing with a price tag to match. My $45+ steak had a long hair seared to it. Everything was super salty like the fries, creamed spinach. The seafood was some fresh, some not so much.

Brian M.

Yelp
Rocco's is my family's favorite. It never disappoints. The dry aged ribeye is as good as it gets. Service and ambiance are on par with the food. So lucky to have such a great place in our town

Jill F.

Yelp
We are regulars here. Tonight I went tonight at 4:00. The restaurant was empty. I was told that without a reservation I would have to sit outside. We walked out. We would have been gone before any crowds got there. If this is how you treat regulars I will find other steak places for dinner.

Yelp
Simply outstanding. Let's begin with the fabulous service - we were 30 minutes early for our 5 PM reservation and the hostess seated us when we arrived. It didn't appear to be busy, however, guests started pouring in as the night went on. We had a great view at our table; we faced the entrance and could see the fire pits lighting up the outdoor tents. It was lovely. Our waiter came over promptly and asked if we were interested in any cocktails. He suggested the old fashioned but those aren't really my thing, so I went with the Fall Spritzer. It tasted like a drink for fall but not in an overpowering way. I liked it. Another employee brought over a bread basket with two rolls and thin herb crackers with butter and olive oil. I certainly did not need to stuff my face with more bread, but I was celebrating my birthday so what the heck! We sealed the deal with the Avocado Toasts as our appetizer. If avocado toast and bruschetta had a baby, this is what it would taste like. These easy ingredients made a delicious starter that I enjoyed very much. My belly was almost exploding but our salads came out and I immediately got heart eyes. A vegan Caesar? Are you kidding me?! It had a bit of a lemon zest which in my opinion could have been omitted but otherwise this salad was slammin'. Couldn't even tell it was vegan. The croutons were warm and soft and reminded me of cornbread. The vegan meatloaf stole the freakin' show. Even the waiter was like, "I'll bring you a container. No one has ever finished the entire entree". I definitely wasn't finishing it but truth be told, it was spectacular - hearty and not dry whatsoever. The mushrooms were smothered in sauce the potatoes were crispy. I can confirm it was still amazing today, as I had my leftovers for lunch. Rocco's has been operating for 5 years according to our server. I need this establishment to stay open forever. We had a memorable time and can't wait to visit again.

My Last review was to go. It had been a terrible experience. Tonight?? REDEMPTION. End to end fantastic and delicious. Keep it up!!!

Yelp
Bored and disappointed. The performance of most of the staff was subpar and the food was, meh to pretty good, depending on what you ordered. Pay close attention to the 2, 3 and 4 star reviews. This is a Marriott hotel restaurant with excellent marketing. (This is a restaurant that is connected to The Ivens, Autograph Collection - (a Marriott brand).) NOT the 5-star experience you are hoping for... Keep in mind, that generally speaking, this restaurant is a 4 to 4.3 across the board NOT a 4.7 or 4.8 which makes a difference in where you select to dine.4.0 on TripAdvisor4.3 on Google4.3 on YelpAnd, to be fair to future patrons and the wait staff who did their jobs well, let me be specific with pros and cons of our experience: Pros: - seating area for drinks before your meal- some of the food was pretty good - specifically the fries, lemon meringue cake, and a perfectly cooked steak although not seasoned - enjoyed the dj, ambiance and the overall vibe - probably a wonderful place just for drinks and the bar area - some of the staff, the front person and food runners were really goodat their jobs Cons: - waited in the waiting area for over 90 minutes (20 minutes past our reservation time) - you'll find this particular complaint in several reviews across TripAdvisor, Google, and Yelp) - nasty persnickety attitudes from the front desk person and our waitress - in a way well beyond what you might imagine from a typical restaurant- Lobster in my pasta was hard and tough to eat - you'll also find this complaint in at least one other review- the fries we ordered originally never arrived, had to order again 90 minutes later.- left us with a terrible final night in Lisbon (which was otherwise an amazing time)

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow! Driving back to NJ from a lax game, we wanted to stop for a good meal. Needless to say, Rocco's 100% delivered! The wait staff (Bill) crushed it, the apps and salad were great and the entrees were amazing. By far the best Delmonico stake I've ever had(shh I am a food snob). Add to it a great drink and wine list. Kudos to the chef and bar tenders. Unfortunately, we had to get on the road but excited to return and experience it all over again with desert. Bravo Rocco's. Top 3 in my book!!!

Yelp
We went to go try the alleged best burger in Bucks County. At $22 it better be the best burger in Bucks County. Burger was juicy, pretty tasty. What brand ketchup do you serve? It's not Heinz. Do you make it yourself or is it off brand? We did encounter the worst French fries in Bucks. The fact that they served "herbed" battered fries. Why battered fries they are gross? The problem is I bet you blanche your fries, especially when you are busy. The first batch of fries had such a gross consistency, blanched then sitting around and then overcooked. I spent $100 on two onion soups, two cheeseburgers and an iced tea so you don't have to.

Yelp
One of the best establishments in Newtown as it comes to food and drink. The food is reliably terrific. There is not much room to eat following the bread and salads which are offered with some of the house specialty entrees. The steaks are cooked perfectly. The vegan meatloaf, no not a typo, is amazing and for all to enjoy including carnivores. The veal parmesan would take a titan to finish... or me! Don't judge. Rocco's offers many craft cocktails and will mix up just about any drink your heart desires. They are known though for their martinis which are rather large. The classic is offered with blue cheese stuffed olives. My only complaint would be to not serve a variant of a cocktail if the correct ingredients aren't available. On two separate occasions an Aviation cocktail was ordered and delivered without the use of Creme de Violette. This "swap" is easy to detect because a properly made Aviation is purple where instead the "hack" was pink. In the past we have ordered and had a perfectly mixed Aviation and at other times were told they were out of certain ingredients and therefore ordered something else. The service is what you would expect from an upscale chop house. Friendly servers, water always filled, plates from finished meals promptly removed from the table, and so on. The reasons for a one star deduction has nothing to do with the food or drink. The dining room was 81 degrees which was too warm and can hopefully be addressed by management. Bottom line, Rocco's is a must when in Newtown and looking for a nice dinner out. Just dress in layers. :)

Christina L.

Yelp
Place was cute , they allow dogs outside which I thought was cool and would come back to bring my dog if food was good . Service was good . They give you extra water and soda so you don't have to ask for refills. I enjoyed my house salad. I ordered a filet mignon medium well- which was more like well done , slightly dry but tender , and their mashed potatoes were not good at all . Unflavored and watery . My husband believes they were instant . He also ordered the filet medium - his came out very tough to cut which I was surprised due to mine being tender . His temperature was also more on the well done side . He would not go back . However , I would return and give it another

Yelp
Had a wonderful business lunch with my man Willie. We both had the burgers with fries infused with truffle oil. The reception and service are top-notch (Thank you Tyler!) A hint of old world charm. People overall are friendly. Rocco's could make me visit Newtown more. Last note: plenty of free municipal parking a block away. Now go have a meal here!

Anna E.

Yelp
This has always been our go to spot. Unfortunately tonight, we had a horrible experience with one of the managers. We spend hundreds of dollars a month here and would consider ourselves regulars. Since he didn't know how to schedule his reservations, we were met with him at our table asking us to leave because "his next party arrived". At that point we just received our dessert and after dinner drinks. To have been treated this way after all the money we continuously spend, including the $650 we spent on our meal tonight, is insulting especially because we were celebrating our 1-year wedding anniversary with our parents traveling from more than an hour away to be here. Because of him, we will be hesitant to return

Yelp
Stunningly superb suburban restaurant with polite, proficient and personable staff serving food that's impeccably prepared, plated and presented. Arriving at 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon we were seated immediately; moments later our server dispatched two rather extensive menus. So we asked for a few minutes. My wife ordered two appetizers; the Wedge Salad and the Avocado Toast--and raved about both, noting that the wedge salad was the second best she'd ever had (Peter Luger's in NYC is the best due to the thick-cut bacon). I sampled one of the avocado toasts and found it excellent; their idea to serve it on bite-sized crispy toasted slices of French bread was brilliant, and eminently sharable. Being from New England, I knew I was taking a chance ordering the New England Lobster Roll, but upon its arrival was immediately astonished by the leviathan lump of lobster perched on the quintessential split-top roll. Seasoning of the tender claw meat was subtle, or so it seemed compared to the lightly Old Bay-seasoned French fries. It's hard to compete with lobster, but these long shoestring fries were up to the task--delicately crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside and absolutely irresistible. In summary: Great service, impressive food and a beautiful, shaded patio on which to enjoy it. There's also a beautifully appointed dining room inside. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Given how close this place is to my house and what a big fan I am of classic steakhouses, I was really rooting for this place. Unfortunately, the meal was fairly uninspired. There's really not a ton to say about this place. Everything about is has that high-end steakhouse feeling (including the prices), except for the steaks. They weren't bad, but they're hardly worth what they charge. I suspect with the new Capital Grille opening up around the corner in Newtown their days are numbered.

Yelp
This is my third time here at Rocco's and I love their food. If you're looking for a nice steak dinner, come here! Tonight they had the dry aged cowboy steak special and I ordered that with mashed potatoes and a side of Caesar salad. Also ordered calamari and truffle fries for the table. The dinner was amazing as always. Our server was very friendly and attentive and provided great service for our table. Place had a nice very lighted vibe to it for a nice romantic date. Highly recommend coming here if you haven't!
google avatar

Yelp
Management seems to dismiss complaints and it has fallen off noticeably since the former manager/partner left. I give it a few months until Capital Grille is up and running because the way Rocco's is being managed it won't be around long!

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely New Years Eve dinner. We made our reservation a few weeks ago, so I was disappointed to see our table was adjacent to a very busy through way with a lot of traffic. It's a doorway where the collapsable stands for serving plates were kept, so every time another tables food came out, I had a food runner reaching behind my chair to get the stand to put the food out. A few times I had another customer's butt in my face as they stood there waiting to get through the doorway. I know someone has to sit there, but making my reservation so far out, I was hoping for a better location for our table. It won't make me rate the restaurant any differently- I was just disappointed and maybe something to consider when setting up tables in the future and being more mindful of where things are kept in regards to where people are dining. Our server was nice and attentive, I didn't catch his name because it was loud and he was a low talker. But we didn't have any issues. He kept apologizing for the delays at the bar and in the kitchen, but honestly it wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was incredibly attentive with refilling water, clearing plates, etc. I have zero complaints about the service. The restaurant was still beautifully decorated from Christmas. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying themselves also, the vibe was good in the entire restaurant. The food was great! I got the Caesar salad and it came chopped and I love that! Cutting a salad with dressing on is always messy. For apps we had the calamari and clams casino (which were a little spicy for me but my husband loved it) I ordered the salmon and my husband got the sea bass - both were phenomenal. I actually said 'wow' out loud after I took my first bite. We opted out of dessert - too full. Newtown is a super cute and safe town, too. We were able to street park right outside the restaurant with no problems. Afterwards the hostess took our photo which was really sweet of her. Also - I have to talk about the bathroom - I love the wallpaper! big pink peonies (I think) and it was just so cute. I love a cute bathroom!

Yelp
It had been a while since I had eaten at this restaurant. And since I was in town Christmas shopping we stop by for a bite to eat. Such welcoming staff upon entry. Such a beautiful foyer. We were seated in the covered porch area. I ordered the French onion soup NV chicken Frite entree. Let me tell you right now, the French onion soup was really something special! Not only in the presentation but in the flavor as well. And on such a cold day this hot savory soup with melted cheese on top was comfort food to this weary shopper. My chicken and french fries entrée did take longer than expected about 40 minutes but it was definitely delivered hot and seasoned french fries are actually pretty delicious. I will definitely come back.

Yelp
Pros: The food looks very Instagram worthy. Presentation and flavor are nicely done. We went on a date and got the poke bowl (5/5), vegan meatloaf (4/5), and lobster roll (4/5). Cons: The public parking and street parking fills up fast can be bit of a walk. Go with the expectation to pay for valet parking. The restaurant itself was packed and we got seats next to big parties. I don't know why they couldn't seat us in the more intimate areas as there was only two of us. Secondly I asked multiple waiters for some sanitizer, no one gave me anything. Our waiter came once to take our order and then she never returned again. The food was pricy when considering the poor quality of service, and seating area. In short, the food is good but pricy. When you pay good money then you expect good service as well. Their service feels disorganized.

Yelp
This is a wonderful restaurant. Everything I've ever eaten here has tasted great. I've ordered fish, salad, steak, different sides... *everything* is good. I've also come with several types of people and have never heard a complaint. Service is attentive. They're great about allergy requests. The ambiance is nice. Valet makes parking a bit easier (and I love the "text to get your car faster" feature). Overall, as Gerald (another reviewer) mentioned, this is the best restaurant in Newtown for sure. It's also worth noting that the espresso is swoonworthy here. A friend of mine from L.A. came to visit once and tells me he still dreams about the espresso he got.

Yelp
excellent food, too much to eat actually, friendly and prompt service, and beautiful historic location with year round outside dining available.

Yelp
The food here was very good but on the pricy side. The ambiance was of a top tier restaurant and the prices reflected that. Service was slow for such a supposedly high end restaurant. I will most likely not return as there are restaurants with equally good food and service at lower prices.

Yelp
Such a beautiful place to grab food. New to the town and went here for a little lunch date. The complimentary bread that was given was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back to try the steak

Yelp
I made reservations on Dec. 7th for my boyfriend's birthday at 7:45. We arrived at 7:45 and our table wasn't ready. We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. They came and got us an hour later, 8:45 to seat us. We ordered clams casino (which was very good) and it came in a timely manner. We both ordered filets medium rare and a bottle of wine. At 10:00 we were ready to cancel our filets as nobody even informed us that they would take that long. We complained to our waitress and she said the kitchen was busy. By that time, the restaurant was cleared out. At 10:20 our dinners finally arrived. My filet was great, my boyfriends was cooked medium. We were afraid to send it back because the first took forever. My cream spinach was so salty, I could not even eat it. What happened Rocco's? You used to be a fabulous place. Pretty disappointed.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and dine somewhere else. My wife and I were recommended this place for from a reputable establishment in New Hope. As we entered the establishment, we noticed they had a seafood cart on their outdoor patio with fresh shrimp and oysters and a happy hour sign with pricing of $2 for oysters and $4 for shrimp. We asked the hostess if that deal was only for outdoor seating, which she replied yes. Normally, we like to sit at the bar, but we decided to sit on their patio to partake in the happy hour menu. Ed was our waiter, and he overheard our conversation with the hostess and corrected her by saying the happy hour menu is included at the bar as well, but we decided to stay seated on the patio regardless. We ordered everything on the happy hour menu with the exception of one item. We shared the oysters and the shrimp, which were good. We took 2 bites of the cheese curds and spinach dip, which were disgusting. Next came the tacos (2) and wings (4). They were gross and only had 1 bite. The buffalo calamari was horrible, as were the sliders. Our waiter Ed wasn't surprised when we commented on the food. His reply was, "It's happy hour food." It was our mistake from the start not ordering what we originally came to Rocco's for, but that response from a fine dining establishment was surprising. We were having a great day and didn't want to complain to management, but we decided to call the following day, and we spoke with a manager named Antonio. Needless to say, he didn't like our criticism and said they are known as a steakhouse and serve approximately 2500 patrons a week. We told Antonio we weren't calling about how many people they serve, the call was about the horrible food experience. Antonio just said, "Come back for the steak," and left the conversation at that. We did not have a food budget going out but this was literally 115 dollars of crap. The fact that everyone's approach and solution is oh its happy hour food is even worse than the horrible food. They should have told us the happy hour food taste like fecal matter and we would have just gone with the steaks! They are supposedly famous for the steaks but out of the 20 people outside I didn't see 1 person eating a steak. I didn't want to blast them with a horrible review but Antonio's lack of caring and rectifying the situation warranted the review! Save your money and drive the extra 15 minutes to New Hope!

Yelp
I am now double vaccinated and ready for a little more patio dining. Met my friend who has been doing patio dining at Rocco's even this past winter. She is more daring than I! We met for lunch on a May Friday. Glorious. Patio was very full. We each had a margarita. We shared their Oysters Rockefeller, where the spinach has been blended superfine with the cream. Great approach. Stars of the show. Gigantic Caesar Salad. I took half home which my husband then enjoyed with dinner. She had the wedge with tons of chunky blue cheese. Great peasant style rolls. A great lunch. A lovely patio experience.

Yelp
Drinks are good, great vibe, bartender Mikayla is awesome and very good at her job! Food is good, wing sauce is legit, wings could be a lil bit more crispier if I had to complain

Yelp
Great food one of the best steaks and lobster I've ever had service was excellent ambience was not good. Air conditioner was not working like it should be in a high-end restaurant like that. Also when I called to make a dinner reservation, the gentleman said no shorts I saw at least 10 guys at the restaurant with shorts on, thank you Joe S.
