Went for our anniversary for the first time, looking for authentic Italian meal. The server was on point, attentive and thorough. The food was good but lacked in presentation overall considering the price point. The Pappardelle Cinque Terre was my fave dish, plenty of seafood, good sized pieces and fresh pasta with a delisih sauce. The bruschetta was unfortunately very soggy, and a but lacking in flavor, but the balsamic drizzle was very good. The cannoli was absolutely delish!!! We would probably give it another artificial it was a convenient option, but not likely to go out of our way to dine here again.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to every single time I go. The food is delicious, the service is phenomenal, and the ambiance is perfect for conversation. They have gluten free options and never fail to impress me!

Great date night here last week. Every dish was delicious and fresh. Service was excellent and attentive.

At first sight the location looked as if it was closed, but the parking and main entrance is on the back side of the Main Street. A beautiful location and they recommend reservations but accept walk in’s. Nice atmosphere for nice attire with live entertainment. The service was beyond excellent. I had some difficulty understanding the menu, however the server helped us and recommended the seasonal tomahawk steak (which we loved). I recommend reviewing photos of dishes before ordering. We enjoyed everything from the bread to the dessert!

This was an outstanding experience that we had at Rocco’s. We had a party of 18 that can be very difficult to give good service to. They exceeded all our expectations with great service, incredible food that everyone was pleased with and amazing desserts! I only wish I could give 10 stars in each category and did not get the names of who waited on us, (hope you read this) service was great!!

Came for a random date nite with the wife. Place is kinda small, if you blink youll miss it as you drive by. Did not order anything from the regular menu, however the wife and I did the same special, and it was delicious. Cheese and pepper pasta with chicken. Portion was decent, enough to be full when done, but maybe no leftovers. Staff was attentive and kind. Will return.

This is my husband favorite Italian restaurant ever !!! He loves this place so much that he try to invite everyone he knows to eat at this place every time he has a chance. Our fav dish is spaghetti frutti di mare and tartufo for desert. Portions are small but with the sparkling water , bread and desserts you will get full. Their sangria and wines are very good. And I love the live music it’s giving Italian movie vibes. Be ready for the 20% include tip if you have a party bigger than 4 but it’s totally worth it .

Google
The soda tasted like bleach or some other cleaning product. I had to ask them to replace it at least three times, and even then, I ended up having dinner without drinking anything because the sodas were undrinkable. I ordered the lasagna an extremely SMALL and OVERPRICED portion that tasted like a frozen Dollar Tree lasagna I could’ve bought for a fifth of the price. The atmosphere is nice and the waiter did his best, but overall, it’s a terrible value for the money. NO BIG BOOMS.

Yelp
We recently celebrated a Friend's birthday here. We planned a month ahead requested a table for 12. We had a bit away when we arrived even though we arrive 15 minutes early. They assigned two servers to our area to ensure everything was served, and there was no issues They had a decent wine pairing Italian food is always hard for me personally cause there's so many options. I tried the spicy shrimp pasta and it was decent. No complaints. Noodles were al dente. A few people around us had the vodka pasta and one person had a breaded chicken cutlet dish. I was able to taste a little bit of everything and it was delicious. Next time I come, he told me that I needed to try the marsala They had a man singing in the bar area, which was icing on the cake. We were able to do a little dance with our partners, which was fun This place is great for date nights or small dinners. It's a very intimate lovely place. I would say it's authentic the owner and the staff very much care about the service and the quality of food and that really presents in the service.

David S.

Yelp
I rarely leave reviews, but this place earned it. Let's start with the food I wish I could say it was mediocre. It was worse. My fiancée's dish came out well under al dente. The risotto was extremely crunchy. When we politely asked about it, one of the servers shrugged and said, "That's how we make it" and "let's see if you can order something else." We then ordered dessert which included a gelato that was DEFINITELY freezer burned, it literally came out with icicles. But the real kicker? The owner. After we asked to speak with someone about the food, he came over and immediately got defensive. No apology, no concern--just attitude. Save your money, your time, and your appetite. There are plenty of places that actually care about their customers and serve edible food. This is not one of them.

Yelp
We decided to do magical dining experience and it seriously might be the worst supposed high end dining ever. Literally had to wait 1/2 hour for a Moretti. We were stuffed in a side room and the menue was a joke . my wife got rice balls...only one came out, barely any stuffing, no side sauce just a fried ball on a plate???. I got the Arugula salad. 20 peieces, barely dressed with anything and one peice of pecorino in middle. Olive oil with lemon zest and crushed black pepper was too much? The bread came with basically a thimble of olive oil...some crushed black pepper and rosemary was too much? not enough for the 4 of us. The veal was dry, over cooked and seemed like they made it 4 hours ago and just reheated it...came with a tiny side of penne mac and the most flavoless sauce ever. I cant believe these people claim to be Italian. No prid in cooking like my family has for generations and thats just eating at home!. Are they even Italian? had to wait another 30 minutes for cannoli and another beer while a waiter was literally moving tables and making a racket next to all diners and it felt like they were closing up and didnt want us there at 7:45 pm. to top it off, some guy was singing on a karoke speaker right over top of us and singing classic Italian songs like "I am a line man for the county" and Buffalo spring field tunes?" and some gordon lightfoot??? the cannoli was less than 3 inches long and fell apart first bite. We all laughed and said if Rocco offered us a free meal we wouldnt take it. Magical dining is how you discover new go to places, not chince on size, flavor and service. Other patorns were literally laughing at the waiter moving tables to a shrieking sound while some old guy sane 'Willie Nelson" out of tune...I am seriously not making this up. Buyer Beware.

Yelp
As predicted, this continues to be one of mine & my boyfriend's favorite Italian restaurants in Orlando. It perplexes me how it seems that so many people aren't aware of its existence because every time we visit, it isn't at all busy (even on weekends). It truly has some of the tastiest Italian food I've tried in the area and deserves more attention. The bruschetta appetizer we shared was delicious and topped with a generous amount of fresh basil, our cesar salads were yummy as usual and our entrees were perfection. My boyfriend ordered the lobster ravioli (I had a bite and it was drool-worthy) and I ordered my usual, the linguine frutti di mar (the seafood is always extremely fresh and the portion is just the right size). If you're looking for the closest thing to experiencing an authentic Italian restaurant in Orlando, Rocco's will have you feeling like you're 5,000 miles away dining in Rome.

Yelp
My meal at Rocco's was nothing short of perfection! The entire experience was pleasant from service to food to atmosphere. We made reservations for Friday night which was a good call given the crowd. I suggest reservations if you plan to dine during the weekend. We were seated quickly on arrival and found our server to be very knowledgeable and pleasant. We started with the special smoked salmon bruschetta and shared a Caesar salad. The kitchen was kind enough to split the plate for us. I judge all Italian restaurants on their Caesar salad and knew immediately I was in a good spot because the Caesar passed my test. It was classic Italian with noticeable anchovy flavor in the dressing. Speaking of dressing, it was dressed perfectly. Very appropriately sized as a starter. The smoked salmon was also excellent. The creaminess of the ricotta complimented the smokiness of the salmon. For the main, we of course went with pasta! I have to RAVE over the Pappardelle alle Cinque Terre! It was beautiful. All of the seafood was cooked to perfection. I was particularly drawn to the scallops! They were so buttery. Of course the sauce and pasta were divine as well. The perfect bed for that beautiful seafood. My mom went with a seafood linguine and was equally impressed. While we were pretty full, we of course couldn't leave without dessert. We had some type of lemon torte and WOW! It was such a lovely finisher. Very bright flavor from a light and flakey pastry. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Yelp
Had a very bad experience here and I hope this review helps others. My wife and I both ordered pasta specials recommended by the waiter. On the printed menu, the most expensive pasta is $27 (contains seafood), most are $22. When we got our bill, my pasta special was $52. It was a cacio pepe (small portion) with no meat/protein. My wife's was $48 (short rib ravioli, 6 pieces). Sure, you can say this is "my fault" for not asking the price of the special upfront. But this felt predatory. I can't imagine they would have told me a vegetarian cacio pepe was $52 had I asked. This is also significantly more expensive than the priciest item on the printed menu, a veal chop at $42. For $52, I could get the sea bass at Ravenous Pig down the street and a drink. I will no longer support this business. I would tread carefully if you go off the printed menu here.

Yelp
Had a last min dinner plan changed and ended up here at Rocco's. Parking is in the back with plenty of spaces that are shared with other businesses in the area. Came by for dinner around 5pm and there wasn't anyone dining u til we finished our meal. We opt in on the magical dining menu. A few interesting options and my friends and I all picked the same items besides desserts. I ordered the shrimp top with Gorgonzola cheese. Two jump sized shrimp were good. The portion size of this appetizer was disappointing. The main course I opt for the beef tenderloin that was also smothered with the Gorgonzola sauce with potato wedges and other veggies. I got tenderloin medium well but it was well done and a bit chewy. As for dessert I asked for it to go. I got the cannoli, it was very tiny. Complimentary bread with garlic olive oil. Service could have been better but, overall nice people.

Yelp
This is an amazing restaurant. Very Italian inspired food, beautiful cozy seatings, outdoor space. The pasta made from scratch Big wine selection. Service is superb! Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Came to this restaurant for Valentine's Day last year and had a great experience because of the server. Made a reservation about a month ago for this restaurant and there was no mention in the reservation notes that there was a prix fixe menu. I normally check prix fixed menus to make sure that there's something on there that I know that my self and my husband will both love to eat. We went in today with our baby and got seated. They brought over a prefixed menu and a menu had veal, a filet tenderloin, a lobster ravioli and a branzino. I do not eat any of those items, I would have rather had something chicken or vegetarian. The owner, Rocco, came over VERY rude, and said that this is a prix fixe menuand that there is nothing that he can do. We said it wasn't like that last year, and he said well this is this year and then he walked away. He was also very rude when I called to say we would be 10 mins late. The side we were seated on was empty. The waitress that was going to help us was very sweet and apologetic. We walked out of the restaurant and the owner said goodbye to us. I don't understand how an owner of a restaurant can allow patrons to leave their establishment. The meals were $70 per person, why not just throw an eggplant on there and still charge me the $70? Makes absolutely no sense. Thank you so much Rocco for making my baby's first Valentine's Day so special. I will NEVER EVER come back here and I will make sure that I spread the word to all of my friends and family. You need to learn some customer service but I guess one person doesn't matter to you.

Yelp
This continues to be one of my girlfriend's & my favorite spot for Italian food in the Orlando area. It gives off that classic American Italian vibe when you walk in. Not only is the service top notch, but they welcome you like family and someone always stops by your table to see if you're enjoying your meal (usually the owner who is there the majority of the time). Nelson was our server for this visit and he was attentive, friendly and always could be found nearby when we needed something. We started off with the carpaccio con rucola and it was delicious as always and topped with just the right amount of truffle oil (I will mention though that the portion did seem smaller than last time we ordered it). Next we both ordered cesar salads and while they tasted great, again, the portion was also lacking a bit. Finally for my main course, I ordered the veal parmesan (it came with a side of ravioli) which was perfectly cooked & mouth watering (portion was just the right size here). As usual, we we were too stuffed to order dessert but I hope someday that I'll have enough room to try some cannolis. One thing I'll mention is be prepared to spend some money here, especially if you like to drink with your meal. However, the quality of their food and the memorable service will leave you feeling like it was cash well spent. I recommend anyone try Rocco's if they're an Italian lover looking for a spot to celebrate a special occasion or just simply in the mood for a delicious meal.

Yelp
Pros: My husband and I had to make a reservation, but we were seated right away. When the host noticed I didn't like our seating location, he moved us without any problem. Our waitress came right away. The restaurant was quiet and subdued and the lighting was low - this is perfect for a romantic meal with a significant other. In terms of the food, it was purely authentic Italian food! I loved my fettuccini bolognese with marinara sauce. We even had free bread. The price was reasonable, considering all that my husband and I ate. Cons: Parking was a bit troublesome but we did find a spot, tight as it was. Overall score: A-

Yelp
Rocco's has pretty good Italian food. Their ambiance is very cozy and family-oriented. The owner loves to walk around and greet the guests and ask how they're doing. Their appetizers are really good, especially their bruschetta and fresh mozzarella (some of the best I've had). Their chicken entree was okay. The chicken was a tad bit dry and the portion was small, but it was still pretty good. Still a great time!

Yelp
I have thrown multiple Birthday dinners here as Roccos is quality Italian food but also switches the menu up frequently with specials and in season appetizers. Roccos always had a Rissoto, bruschetta, and staple pasta special that you cannot go wrong with. Roccos has an incredible private back room you can also rent our for larger parties making it a more intimate gathering. The live music they feature on Friday nights is also great( we have even taken their business card for the next time we host an Italian dinner party). Rocco himself is usually always present greeting parties and ensuring your experience is top notch Kats menu choices: 1. Pappardelle Alle Cinque Terre ...I end up getting this almost every single time I go.. Rocco is incredible at mixing seafood at pasta and this is my favorite 2. The special ravioli of the night (I've gotten a short rib one that was out of this world!)

Yelp
The manager is so lovely, so this is a difficult review to write. We were regulars for a while, but after 3 bad experiences- we have crossed these guys off the list. Last night, we went for a quick bite and somehow got charged $50 for beef ravioli and $50 for scallop risotto. I was shocked at how incorrect their pricing is, for that you can go to Ava or STK. The charm here has always been the more authentic, quiet, off the path Italian. But the bill didn't match what is provided. Last, it's a much older crowd which never bothered us, however with the lackluster ambiance and food that's lacking energy, I'd skip it.

Yelp
Went here for Magical Dining with friends and it was delicious! The serving sizes are on the small side, but I usually expect that for Magical Dining, that way you can get through 3 courses. You definitely won't have leftovers. Though I have been surprised at other restaurants serving large portions. I started with the RUCOLA E PARMIGIANO - Arugula, julienne tomatoes, Parmigiano shaves in extra virgin olive oil and lemon dressing. Very light and tasted good. For entree I had the FILETTO AL GORGONZOLA - Beef tenderloin topped with a melted imported Gorgonzola sauce served over roasted potatoes. Yes it's as good as it sounds! Not a drop of the sauce was left on the plate! Dessert was very small but yummy. PROFITEROLES - Puffed pastry filled with cream and finished with a Belgian chocolate cream. Basically a Cream Puff! I almost think they have a frozen box of these and maybe added more chocolate on top. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed with presentation, but I do like cream puffs and this was the perfect little dessert size. My friend had the Cannoli. She enjoyed that. Maybe that was the better choice. There was a chocolate cake too, but none of us ordered that. She also had a cappuccino that looked really good! Service was great!

Yelp
Went here for a pizza last week for the first time and was disappointed at the bland taste. Gave the place another try this week and ordered spaghetti and meatballs to take out. Again, very bland. Especially the meatballs, which had no seasonings in them at all. No hint of Italy in anything.

P D.

Yelp
Been here plenty of times. Never write these. Seems to have gone downhill. No wonder no one goes out anymore. Ordered 2 chicken marsalas to go wanted pasta instead of veggies w it . We got Literally a handfull of angel hair which i guess cost $10 more . $74 for severely limited portion. Way overpriced . Mediocre . Currently eating peanut butter sandwich .

Yelp
A last minute find, but what a great one. We were looking for a nice Italian meal and that's what we found. From the "Frank Sinatra" entertainment to the old school ambiance. Strong recommendation for Rocco's. We both indulged on the specials after splitting a Cesar Salad, which was awesome. My friend had the Osso Bucco stuffed ravioli with Marsala sauce. This melted in your mouth and left you wanting more. I had the Sea Bass on polenta. It too was delicious and accompanied by Juliane veggies. The polenta was a little over cooked for my liking, but from the fresh bread to the service this was an excellent find! Thanks Rocco for squeezing us in!

Yelp
4 of us had reservations at 7 pm on 5/24/2023 for a Booth. The restaurant was crowded and we got a Table right in the waiter traffic. Our service was S L O W. The food was passable, not outstanding. We were charged $70.00 for a special 'summer truffle' and for 2 'panna' which we did not have. I should have but didn't question the bill in front of our Guests. NEVER AGAIN! Jim Fitch Winter Park

Yelp
After years of saying we need to try that place, we finally gave Rocco's a try & we will be back! We made a reservation online, they only opening they had was 5pm. We were the first people there. Staff was very friendly. We started with the burrata appetizer special. It was very delicious and a good portion size. For an entry I had the linguine alle vongole verace, it was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised how many clams actually came with the dish!

Jay K.

Yelp
Went here for date night and we were so impressed. It is a family-feel restaurant which we loved, everyone was very welcoming and attentive. Great wine selection and the food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend to someone looking for a lowkey ambiance and a delicious meal!

Matina H.

Yelp
Came here following a bad experience at another italian place nearby. We were immediately greeted by the whole staff and Rocco was an absolute gem! He brought us to our table, gave us recommendations off the menu, and consistently stopped by our table to check on us and make sure everything was great. The specials were fantastic and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!

Jon W.

Yelp
WARNING: This place is horrible. It used to be very good. My wife and I have been coming here for years. It has become a second rate restaurant with high prices. The food and service are horrendous. It took over an hour to get our salads. It took over an hour and a half to get our entrees. When we complained to the owner (Rocco), he made up all kinds of excuses instead of taking ownership of the problems. He actually tried to blame us for sending back the entrees when they came out before the salads. Don't waste your time and money on this RAT HOLE!!!

Yelp
We had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Rocco's and it was just amazing. We looked at a lot of different places before deciding on Rocco's. We mainly decided on Rocco's because of the flexibility and the menu. Rocco was so easy to work with and his team of servers on the day of the dinner did just an amazing job. The food was delicious and all came out at the same time for 43 people. Very happy we chose Rocco's and would definitely recommend them!
google avatar

Yelp
The experience here was average. We tried the mushroom bruschetta and it was good but nothing special. The toast tasted like it was toasted hours ago. My husband had the papardelle alla cinque terre (seafood pasta) and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the rigatoni alla zozzona, it was good but nothing to rave over. Clientele is an older crowd and they had live music on a Saturday night- but it was an electric keyboard.. felt a bit tacky.
google avatar

Beverly J.

Yelp
The ambience is wonderful on Friday nights with a live small band with singer. Their music really was a treat for us!! The attention to service was great too with the napkins being placed on our laps and the waitress's friendliness. The quality of the food did not justify the higher prices. I ordered veal with capers (Vitello Alla Pizzaiola) and my husband had fettuccine alla bolognese. The veal was tender and tasty but more salty due to the capers of course. The bolognese was "ok" according to my husband. In conclusion: The music was the the best part and made our evening out very romantic. Highly recommend Friday night's due to them!! Just a note: the parking lot is under construction but ample parking is available.

Yelp
Exquisite, welcoming, and delicious. A great classical atmosphere with a great staff and crowd. I will definitely be back next time I visit Florida.

Yelp
Lovely authentic Italian restaurant nestled in Winter Park. The food was amazing. We had the calamari as an appetizer. It was so tender! Their pasta is made fresh in house. The service was also outstanding and our server made some amazing suggestions on what to try.

Yelp
Romantic restaurant for dinner, quality italian food and plenty of parking in the back. Looks underwhelming from the road but once you're inside it's lovely!! Very big bar area as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent everything. Real nice choices on the menu and specials. Food was delicious. The staff was a team that I would love to work with because they worked well together and helped each other. Pricing was on the higher end compared to similar restaurants hence 4 stars, that wouldn't stop us from going back.

Yelp
We've been curious to try for awhile and Magical Dining was the perfect opportunity. My husband and I had arincini, caprese, veal Marsala, cannelloni, cannoli, and profiteroles. Overall assessment: good flavors (although everything aside from dessert benefited from salt). Major disappointment was the portion size. One rice ball. Two slices of unripe tomato, two thin slices small slices of veal, a mini cannoli, and one profiterole. We were done in under an hour. Will I go back? Probably not. Not terrible, but great. We did practically lick the plates but mainly because we were still hungry!

Yelp
If you're looking for traditional but upscale Italian, I would recommend Rocco's. The food is elevated and unique takes on classic Italian dishes. They offer a wide assortment of veil dishes which is hard to come by lately. Impeccable service, elegant dining ambiance, and an Italian wine list to drool over makes for a great relaxed and romantic night out. However, I wasn't overly impressed with the actual flavors of the food. While the dishes are presented beautifully, I found my veil chop to be very tough and lacking in depth and flavor. The chicken Parmesan needed more sauce. The tiramisu could have done without the extra chocolate drizzle and instead an extra liquor soaking for the ladyfingers. The mixed vegetables were the star for me. They were simple yet incredibly flavorful. Maybe it was just an off night, so since the wine and service were flawless, I would give it another go.

What can you say! Classic. Friendly. Home made. Relaxed atmosphere combined with great food. Awesome bar and staff is top tier! Our regular go-to place thanks to friends referral.

Yelp
Me and the husband came here last night for Valentine's Day. I was really excited because I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now- I always drive by it. The restaurant itself is tiny, but it was nice for a romantic evening. Upon sitting down at our table, we were handed Valentine's Day menus- their normal menu was not available. I was a little disappointed about this because I really wanted to eat some good Italian food, and the Valentine's Day menu only consisted of either filet, sea bass, lobster ravioli, or veal Parmesan for the main course. It was a 4 course meal, but for $70 a person and the limited menu, I wasn't too happy. For Appetizer you had the choice of either caprese or Arancini . We both got the arancini to start. When the food arrived, I was surprised at the extremely small portion size- it was literally only one rice ball. This tasted okay- nothing to brag about. Not great, but not bad. Next was the salad. I think the salad was my favorite part of the meal (aside from the bottle of wine). The dressing was amazing. For my entree, I got the filet. The filet had the weirdest sauce on it that I have ever tried on a steak. It was spicy! Needless to say, I hated my steak. I tried to give them credit for maybe trying unique flavors out on their food, but whatever sauce they put on the filet did not work at all. Horrible. I didn't bother telling my server because he had already spilled a bottle of wine on the table, and gave us a free bottle to make up for it. Our dessert was a slice of chocolate cake with some sauce drizzled over it that tasted like lemon. Chocolate and lemon- also not a good combination. We really tried to like the food here, but unfortunately I don't think we will be back. The service was good, but the restaurant itself was so quiet it felt awkward to even talk.

Yelp
Excited to go here to celebrate Christmas Eve Eve. Was empty. Asked owner to play music... maybe Christmas music since we were only ones in restaurant - but we were told he was busy preparing for tomorrow. They were clearing up as we ate at 8:30 pm. Antipasto was not impressive, Gnocchi is always good. I just don't think I would go back due to customer service.

Janette G.

Yelp
Our family had a reservation and my husband called to have it pushed about 30 minutes. The man who answered said it was ok. When we got there he was already telling another gentleman that he had the wrong date and that he had no reservation, rudely by the way. When it was finally our turn which was mind you about 10 minutes later since the man rudely and loudly said we were late and we'd have to wait. We explain that he said it was ok to come between 6:15/6:30 but instead he shows me his watch and says again that there no tables and we have to wait. Which by the way was 6:28. We said no thank you since he was so rude and left. No one should be loudly talked to in front of everyone and there are more professional ways to talk to costumers. I will make sure to tell everyone I know how rude he was. . Btw I like to give zero stars.

Yelp
Don't go to magical dining at Rocco's hungry or you will also leave hungry. We were humored at each course of the meal by the unbelievably small portions. Our experience with other magical dining restaurants is that you receive the normal size portions at a discounted price. Thus the magic of magical dining. Not so at Rocco's! When combined with poor service, rushed courses, and average food, we could not recommend Rocco's to anyone. On the bright side, we saved money on the wine, as start to finish dinner took less than an hour, and there wasn't enough time for 2 glasses, lol! Also, due to the small courses, we stayed on track on our diets! Additionally, we couldn't control our laughter at the portion sizes, although we didn't realize we were at the comedy club instead of a fine dining restaurant. (One rice ball the size of a large egg, the filet is about 4 ounces and over cooked, a cannoli the size of a large thumb, and ice cream eaten in 3 bites) One would think the restaurant would want to showcase their food and leverage the meal to bring customers back for future dining experiences. On to Capital Grille and Eddie V's where you get the same meal for magical dining as you do are regular menu prices!

Yelp
Chicken is gamey tasting, portions are small, oily grossness. I got a to go order and the server handed me the bag with the damn juice filling up the bottom of the to go bag. Gross.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place. The moment we arrived, we were early for our reservation. The chef, who was personally delivering an appetizer, stopped what he was doing to check us in. He led us to the bar to wait while our table was prepared. The bar area had a great scotch selection among other things. There was a man on the piano playing live music and singing, which was very entertaining. The bar was packed. We had the last two seats. Service was prompt. No large ice cube for my scotch though. Sigh. When our table was ready, the chef came back and gathered our coats and drinks and brought us to our table. The server was excellent, always keeping an eye on our plates and drinks. The place has specials! They sounded so delicious! But their menu is already jam packed with a ton of options. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees. The server was keen to not let our entrees arrive until our appetizers were finished. Bread and oil were provided. For dessert, we had the tiramisu to go. I don't like chocolate sauce on top, but that's how they dressed it. Regardless, it was not the best Tiramisu I've ever had but it was decent. Next time I'll go with the cannoli. You can't go wrong with a cannoli. They had a lovely decaf cappuccino to finish off our evening. The chef hugged and kissed our cheeks as we left. What a gentleman! I will definitely come back to this place. It's so romantic and we were taken care of like royalty. Parking is plentiful and they have a very cute patio area with cafe lights etc when the weather is milder. So many options on the menu to try! I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I went to Rocco's last night and found the atmosphere and food very nice. However, when I got home, I got so sick and vomiting a lot. I called the restaurant when the vomiting stopped merely to warn them that perhaps the food I had was not good. Well, Rocco got on the phone, never apologized. All he said was food poisoning doesn't happen that quickly. I told him I am not trying to say anything bad about the restaurant, just letting him know so no one else gets sick. He never once said I'm sorry or I hope you feel better. I just could not believe his attitude and unfortunately I will not be back. Too many excellent restaurants that care about their patrons.

Yelp
Food is fine. Slightly overpriced. We came here for birthday. When the bill came, we were surprised to find out that we were charged $21 for cake fee for the cake we brought. If we had been told that they charge cake fee, we would not told them not to cut the cakes. We told the server that we were not told about the fee. Then the owner of this restaurant came to tell us that It was our fault in that we should have asked if the restaurant charged the cake fee. He said that Surprisingly with quite rude attitude!!!! So the owner ruined the dinner. Not just because of the hidden fee but because of owner's attitude and rudeness. Are we coming back? Probably not. There are many more better restaurants!!!!

Yelp
I always wondered why it was always empty, now I know why. I walked in to the owner at the bar on his phone in an empty restaurant. Wasn't offered pasta for my 22$ chicken Marsala dish. Which came with a handful of chewy green beans. I called them back was called a "piece of sh*t." Terrible terrible place . Waste of money. I will do everything in my power to steer people away.

Yelp
We originally came to Winter Park tonight to go to Hillstone's with some important new clients. After Hillstone's told us that they could seat a table of four at 6pm and then, upon our arrival, told us the maximum at a table was THREE. Who does that?!? We left immediately and stumbled on Rocco's. Fate was smiling on us tonight. Rocco's welcomed our group of four, sat us in a private corner area, and assigned Monique (an incredible employee) to our table. The food was AMAZING and the service was even better! Monique never let our drinks get below 40% full, the courses were served exactly 12 minutes apart (industry perfection), and the owner Rocco personally came to our table twice to make sure everything was perfect. We will DEFINITELY be back!! We found a new local favorite to "shine on" clients.

Yelp
It saddens me that after so many years of going to Rocco's Italian Grill we will not be returning & yes they truly have lost loyal customers here. It seems the problem is when we go as a group service is very bad to say the least but what really upset our group this last time is after explaining the details of what would be the specials at no time was any pricing mentioned but you would think that based on all the pricing of their dishes that it shouldn't vary way so much. Once the bill came a pasta dish with truffles was on the check for 185.00 yes for 1 plate the waiter came back after we questioned saying it was a mistake should be 85.00 then the owner came retracted back to the 185.00 so it wouldn't seem as if they made a mistake this was plain old scamming just was not right. One other time that we were in a group they just brought us an appetizer same one for each person in the group without ordering this and priced it at 20.00 each for a simple melon with small slice of prosciutto wrapped around very poor presentation. Rocco very bad business and we won't be returning. :(

Yelp
Ordered a truffle fettuccine, which was a daily special, asked for the price and was told $85. Once the check came it showed $185, when I called the owner to complain his explanation was "the lady that gave you the price doesn't know all the prices", well, "the lady" works for the restaurant, at a minimum he should have honored the price. Not to mention $185 for a pasta ia just ridiculous. Scammers.
