Got a large pizza with half pepperoni. I LOVED the crust!!! You can tell the toppings are high quality. We reheated it in our oven at home and it made the bottom crunchy, which was amazing. I don’t love the tiramisu, but it was alright. It’s a bit pricey but I really enjoyed the pizza overall! Very friendly service

I can’t say enough good things about Rocco's. Even though it’s strictly pick-up only, they’ve nailed every aspect of the experience. Ordering was a breeze. Quick, intuitive, and efficient. My food was ready right on time, and the staff handed it off with warm, genuine friendliness that made me feel like a regular. No fuss, no wait. Just smooth service and good vibes. Now, the food? Absolute showstopper. Each dish was packed with flavor, beautifully prepared, and portioned perfectly. You know that moment when you take your first bite and immediately want to order it again? Yeah, that.

I’m going to start with my recommendations: Fettuccine Alfredo, and Lasagne. This is a well ran family business. The older woman makes all of this dough from scratch and it’s absolute perfection. The fettuccine Alfredo is to die for. It has a sweetness to it I can’t explain and I will get it over and over again and not get sick of it. The staff is EXTREMELY nice. They go above and beyond. One night I called in about 20-25 minutes before they closed (I hate doing this to any restaurant, and if they’re out of something I’m ok with that) so I called Rocco’s ordered my usual, she said ready in 20 min. I found out later that she didn’t even have and pasta left she made it from scratch right when I called. THAT is customer service. I’ve read a lot of these negative reviews and I wasn’t impressed. Give this place a try you won’t regret it.

Google
I had heard about Rocco’s on the news. They were talk f about how amazing the pizza is. Tonight, my husband and I stopped in to grab a few slices (we didn’t order in advance). The pizza place was spotless. There are windows facing the street of the people making the pizzas right in front of you. Everything was very transparent! The young lady at the front counter, Reema, was very friendly and helpful. Once we got home, we could hardly wait to eat our pizza slices. The pepperoni slice was legitimately the best. I was in pizza heaven. My biggest regret was not ordering an entire pepperoni pizza. My husband had a unique slice with hot honey, some sort of salami. Jalapeño and fresh mozzarella. I could only have a small bite since I can’t eat spicy. He loved it. Rocco’s food is ABSOLUTELY WORTH OUR DRIVE!! Next time I want to try their meatball sub sandwich. I only wish we lived closer. Rocco’s is the BEST!!

Google
Pizza is about style. They have style here, Jersey Style or Grandma Style. Jersey is thin round, Grandma is thicker but not deep dish thick, square. Service was great, informative and customer oriented. Atmosphere could use a table or two, for sitting while you wait or to eat a slice. Pizza was good, had a large Jersey style, sauce was flavorful and cheese was equally distributed. Crust was crispy and chewy, perhaps overly chewy a bit. They'll be a good addition to Oak Park but there is great pizza in nearby cities, will be interesting to see how they do. Wishing them success!

Google
Rocco’s pizza is the absolute jam. No joke this is the best pizza in town if you like NJ style pizza. DoorDash can be hit or miss. Two orders were wrong but the owner was more than happy to make things right. Crust is crunchy on the exterior, chewy with a cornmeal bottom. Slices are huge that demand to be folded when eaten. Flavors are perfect. This is in my top 3 pizza spots in the city. There isn’t anything else like it. Big fan.

Google
Rocco's is amazing! I'm from New Jersey and this is exactly what I want and crave in a pizza. High quality ingredients, chewy crust, delicious sauce, it's worth the price. The garlic knots are heavenly! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Google
VERY impressed with Rocco’s. Often when I order thin round pies it’s usually undercooked and very floppy. I got the Kung Fu Chicken pizza and it was not undercooked, there was no flop and had a great crisp. If you prefer a more traditional pizza the Kung Fu chicken pizza is different taste wise but nerveless delicious. I’m excited to try more items on the menu. The garlic knots are really great as well, super addicting. You can taste the quality. Very impressed and MILES better than what Primos was making. Update: after a month 1/2 and 7 pizzas later. This pizza is incredible. I've tried the jersey style round and their grandma style square and I'm blown away by every pizza I get from Rocco's.

Yelp
Since my 1st review, I learned this is much more than a pizza joint. Its more of a carry out italian restauant. If you crave top notch, quality italian food, this is the place. I usually get the meatballs with the eggplan parmesan. Just delicious! This place makes the best meatballs. Texture is prefect. Flavor is spot on. It comes in a marinara sauce and a generous dollop of creamy riccota. The eggplant parmesan is properly cooked and also delicious. It comes with a side of spagetti. Only critique is the side of pasta lacks sauce. It is a bit pricey, but 2 will eat this for 2 days, so the value is there. This is about as good if not better then most other quality dine in Italian restaurants. And the nicest thing is the staff is excedingly friendly and an absolute pleasure to interact with.

Yelp
I went here with a friend a couple days ago in an attempt to go out to eat. From what we googled and having seen it from the outside we weren't expecting it to be a takeout. That's actually a compliment for good branding. Before going in we both had looked at the menu and thought the chicken parmesan sandwiches seemed like a good idea to check them out. My friend wanted sandwiches and i've had Rocco's on my to-do list. We went in, ordered our sandwiches, and then were told it'd be 15 minutes. We went for a walk and got slurpees on our way to corner the block. We arrived about 20 minutes later and the cashier was covertly finding out that our order had not been put in yet and that'd it'd be another 10-15 minutes. She had a pretty strange attitude about it. No apology or admittance. She phrased it like 'I'm just delivering the message that it's gonna be another 10 minutes.' We hadn't even said a word, but I'm guessing the look on our faces probably said '...no one started the order, did they?' Anyways, I don't really care much about that. I just wish I ordered pizza instead. The pizza they had for slices honestly looked excellent. I plan to at least come back and try the pizza, but the sandwiches... Not good. The chicken was not just obviously frozen, but I think quite freezer burnt? It had that classic cafeteria Tyson kind of chew to it. It was difficult to get down. The bread it was on was nice. The mozzarella was okay. The marinara was almost tasteless and soup-y though and rather than shredded parm like I'd have expected you're given a little cup of the good ol' dust to throw some on yourself. Overall it just really wasn't good. We both finished half of ours and never made it to the leftovers. I'm sorry, I eat out for almost every meal and it was ultimately the worst thing I can recall eating the past month (with the exception of the hell hole that is the Ferndale Taco Bell). I also opted in for a cannoli for myself. First off, $7 for a cannoli is insane. The place down the street from me in Grosse Pointe sells better Cannolis for like $2.40 and then the bakery a bit more up the street that always has a big line for them has them at $2.75 or $29 for a dozen. And if it's $7 I at least expect a pretty damn sizeable cannoli. Really, for $7 I was expecting a Cannoli that would knock my socks off somehow. Instead all I feel is taken advantage of. This was what I guess I'd call a pretty small-medium sized cannoli. The filling was quite good, but rather than mini-chips it had like full-sized tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips... Like I seen a pic of someone else having one with the kind of chips you'd expect from here. I actually wasn't quite as turned off by that on the execution as I expected, but I still wouldn't recommend it to be a normal practice. It's still just sort of bizarrely off-putting. All in all with a default tip it came out to $27 for a bad sandwich and a cannoli. I definitely won't be reliving any of that, but the pizza did look like my kind of pizza so I'll be giving it a try soon. I'm just honestly at a loss for words with the $7 cannoli and for a sandwich at that price point to have that awful quality of chicken.

Yelp
I'm quite disappointed. It's big and bland. Skimpy on the sauce and cheese.. I gave them a 2nd star just for their clean presentation and the attempt. But this is far from a desirable pie. Marinara tastes like tomato soup, and the side of ranch was only a 1/2 filled small container. For nearly $30- this is a rip.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! My new favorite pizza place. It's hard to get my family to try new things and they all thanked me repeatedly for finding this place. Carry out only. Pristine interior. Easy parking. Wonderful service! Very friendly. The estimated time for my order was very punctual and accurate. Fresh and high quality ingredients. Not greasy, like I often experience with pizza. Thin, light crust with a hint of sweetness to it. Pepperoni has a nice spicy kick. We tried 4 different small pizzas, all fabulous. I enjoyed my mixed green salad too. You can also buy pizza by the slice. The Italian herb chicken wings are fantastic! The skin and seasonings were very flavorful, and perfectly cooked on the inside. Not greasy, which I appreciate. The garlic knots are epic! Handmade dinner rolls. Generous size. The signature garlic sauce is wow! You can see and taste the fresh garlic. I truly appreciate the high quality food I experienced, along with the excellent service, and I look forward to returning soon.

Yelp
This was almost 3 stars, but the pizza is legit delicious. Amazing job with the pizza, but we ordered a meatball sub and got meatballs alone, which tasted frozen and reheated as well as limp, bland garlic knots. Brooklyn pizza: Sausage, roasted peppers, onions and fresh mozzarella. Not sure about the fresh mozzarella but the pizza was great, 9/10 Meatball sub: we did not get a sub. Disappointing flavor, too. 4/10 Garlic knots: these looked as flat as newspaper and tasted as bland as... well, newspaper. 2/10 I would get pizza here again but avoid everything else.

Yelp
10/10 recommend. Crust was perfect. Homemade sauce and the pepperonis were curled. We'll be back!!! My fiancée almost ordered 2 days in a row. Lol compliments to the chef. ;)

Yelp
Convenient carryout pizza parlor... yeah, parlor because their pizza reminded me of old-school thin crust pizza. After running errands, I was craving pizza and decided to search for something new and close to home. I popped open the app, used the map, and discovered Rocco's. I didn't read any reviews, I just let the stars lead me, and I'm happy I did. This is great pizza; prepared and ready quickly with outstanding customer service. The location used to be Primos, which had been there for years and served just "ok" pizza, imo. I ordered a small pizza with mushroom and Italian sausage. When I arrived, I was pleased by the signage, cleanliness, and decor. Really cute, modern place. I paid $15 for my pie. On the drive home, the intoxicating smell tempted me to nibble, but I waited. The mushrooms were so fragrant. When I opened the box, I found the neatest pizza pie I'd seen in years. I dove in and was well-pleased. The pizza had the perfect kiss of garlic. The sauce was just the right amount. It was definitely well-balanced. The chucks of sausage were meaty and tasty, and the cheese was fresh, chewy goodness. The crust was thin but still thick enough to have some chew, while the outer edges were crunchy.

Yelp
Ordered take out for the first time just a few weeks ago. Had a meat filled pizza, knots, and a salad. Don't call- no one answers- order online. The large is too much for two unless you want a lot of leftovers. Pizza was square and thick- not Detroit style though. No vegan cheese. (If you're curious.)

Lisa A.

Yelp
Incredibly delicious and incredibly accommodating! Friendly and family owned, some of the best pizza I've ever had!! Took extra care of my food allergies and an immaculately clean kitchen. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I saw Rocco's on Live in the D a couple of week's ago and the pizza looked good, so I figured I'd give them a try...I'm so glad I did. I had the small herbivore pizza (minus olives) and Rocco's salad (minus olives). Can you tell I don't like olives? The pizza was a thin crust pizza that reminded me of a New York style pizza.

Yelp
Picture an Italian nonna running the kitchen at a local restaurant. What do you envision? Scratch menu w quality ingredients? Check. Outstanding red sauce. Check. Fantastic meatballs? Check. Genuine hospitality? Check. Not a dream, that's Rocco's. Legit, delicious and house made food that hits the spot every time. If you miss classic east coast Italian American dishes, then you'll feel right at home. Go now, but leave me some meatballs.

Yelp
I live up the block. I love their meatballs and garlic knots. I also loved the lasagna last visit which was nicely portioned. Meatballs and a $10 extra large cheese pizza I let them talk me into which someone must've ordered but didn't pick up. The pizza was good, loved the pesto and garlic. Smelled so good riding home. I like my pizza crust more doughy but I would still try it again. Their entrees are so good though. I'm pasta is also handmade.

Yelp
Rocco's is the best thing to happen to this part of town in a LOOONG time! One love to them for having amazing pizza! The friendliest service and keeping their door open for customers in need of some BOMB food to grind on. Seriously this place rocks. Thank you ROCCO's for doing what you do! Your quality is unmatched and authentic!

Yelp
I should've taken a picture of the slices they were huge! I called it in and when I got there service was quick and efficient. Ambiance was true pizza parlor. I'll be back!

David Y.

Yelp
I was excited to try their pizza. When I called I was immediately placed on hold without being notified of it, then I called back and was notified this time to hold. I waited for 4 minutes and then ordered Hungry Howies.

Eric B.

Yelp
Was craving east coast style pizza and Rocco's delivered. Delicious sweet sauce, perfect amount of chew and crunch to the crust, perfect amount of cheese, and the little bit of basil all balanced perfectly. Best non-Detroit style pie I've had in a long time. Also they do sell individual slices that are MASSIVE. Will be coming back to try other pizzas soon.

Yelp
We ordered Vodka Tortellini and Eggplant Parmesan. They were timely ready. I was greeted with a smile. The appearance of the restaurant was amazing. The food did not have to be warmed up when I returned home. We really enjoyed it and will be back.

Yelp
My husband and I noticed that Roccos was opened and decided to give it a try. When we ordered, they said it would be 45 minutes before it would be ready. That was fine. The sizes of pizza only include small, xl and xxl...we ordered the xl and it was Huge!! The pizza was Amazing. We will definitely be coming back for another one - we will just have to make sure we have a couple of people over to share it with! Lol We also ordered the garlic knots. They are the reason for 4 stars. They were very thin - as if the dough didn't proof enough. The flavor was good - but the texture was so 'off' that we rendered them as unedible. Those got thrown away. We did not call to question this, as we live 20 minutes away and would not have made that drive to return/exchange them anyways. I do look forward to trying another pizza there again soon!

Layli R.

Yelp
Amazing pizza, thanks for coming to Oak Park so good, New Jersey in Michigan, we love it The best, thank you

Yelp
Very solid thin crust, NY style pizza. Not a lot of pizza options that serve this style around here, definitely worth the visit!

David M.

Yelp
Chicken Parm is fuggin' gooood. Dang. Man, reminds me of when I was a kid and my grandma made it. Really good.

Dorothy P.

Yelp
After reading all the great reviews, I had to try this place. Ordered it last night for the Super Bowl and everyone loved it!! Will definitely order again!

Noreen P.

Yelp
We LOVE this pizza!!! The crust is perfect! They are also so friendly and accommodating! Order here, you won't regret it!

Walt B.

Yelp
Strange kinda pizza. Not much to choose from. Mostly just large and larger pizzas. Strange tasting cheese.

Owen A.

Yelp
Solid pizza, fairly fast service just super busy on Friday and Saturday so expect a wait to reach them.

Tony S.

Yelp
OMG, we are in heaven! New York style pizza and hero's brought to you by an Italian family from New Jersey. This newly opened pizzeria deserves your attention. The subs/hero's are the best. Chicken parm and meatball done right (veal, beaf, and pork). Great pizza! The cannoli and tiramisu are incredible. My wife and I tried the hero's for lunch and had to go back for dinner. The menu is limited but pleasing, and we plan on trying everything, twice. There's no seating (yet), but it's well worth a visit.

Renee M.

Yelp
We got 2 pizzas, garlic knots, and the chicken parm. Everything was well made with quality ingredients. The red sauce on the pasta was clearly made fresh with good chunks of chopped garlic, not sweet at all. The pizza was huge and the crust was perfect! Garlic knots were a touch under done but still amazing. The staff were friendly and happy to share their favorites. It's pricey but not a rip-off. This will absolutely be part of our regular carry-out rotation.

Mindy V.

Yelp
Finally some New York style pizza (even if it's from New Jersey) 100% recommend trying!

Kimberly H.

Yelp
My hubby & I ordered the chicken parmesan and the eggplant parmesan. Both were delicious!!! The dinners came with garlic knots (they were buttery), which were also delicious. We both ordered side salads and the dressing tasted like it was made jn house. I had the balsamic dressing which was creamy. It's literally the best balsamic dressing I've ever tasted. My hubby had the blue cheese dressing. Also, very tasty. I highly recommend!
