"There aren’t many good food options around Sand Lake Road, the tourist-y strip near Universal Studios. However, Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar is trying to change that. There’s nothing mind blowing going on here, but the tacos, Texas-style queso, and specialties like chile rellenos and mole poblano are all better than anything else in the area. They also have a great late-night menu for when you get hungry again after sampling from their wall of tequila, which includes more than 400 varieties. photo credit: Rocco's Tacos and Tequila Bar" - Maddy Zollo Rusbosin

One of the busiest restaurants in this airport, and you can definitely expect the service to be a little slower. No complaints about the food. We tried mushroom tacos, burrito bowl and guava margarita. They automatically add 18% gratuity which is a little annoying considering their less customer friendly service.

Stopped in for something healthy, ordered a salad. Was surprised that it was fresh and good. Chicken was moist and juicy, dressing was vinaigrette based. I would recommend. Server was really nice, friendly, and prompt. Worth a stop if you have a few

The service was great, people were nice. Food was okay, I should have ordered the beef tacos instead of chicken. I had to really add toppings to get them down. beans, not good and rice had no flavor. Took for ever to get a beer, but its an airport. Salsa and chips, okay

Ordered the plant based protein burrito bowl and I have to say the yellow rice and fennel seeds that were added were surprisingly good. Apparently the meat here can be hit or miss but I think my choice landed up being great. I sat at the bar.

I rarely leave bad reviews and hate to do it, but the food here was really bad, and the service was abysmal. I understand it's a busy airport restaurant, but our server was rude. He looked visibly annoyed when we asked to order in person instead of on the app. I truly hope he was just having an off day. To make matters worse, we were hit with a mandatory 18% gratuity—despite the receipt stating it could be adjusted at checkout, which turned out to be false. The system simply wouldn’t allow it.

I ordered a glass of wine and a beef taco, the waitress told me they were small, but I didn’t think they were that small…. The taco came quickly and I didn’t have my glass of wine, it arrived after I finish the taco and after that the water. I give it a try and I order the tortilla chips, while I was eating and still have a half of my wine the waitress brought me the bill, it was not crowded. After that I payed the bill requested to take the 18% tip out and I left her the tip in cash which was not the 18%. It was expensive and not worth it. Now I’m eating at Whiskey River in Gate B, sooo much better.

We were very hesitant to eat here due to the low ratings on Google. However, after a failed attempt to order at the burger place that was out of a lot of food, we headed to Rocco's. Let me tell you, it changed my perception of bad reviews. The lady manager and our waitress were awesome, the place was clean with a friendly environment, and the food was out quickly and very good. We spent some time talking with the manager and she was wonderful.

Food isn’t bad - beef is a little bland but would order again. Service however was nonexistent. Their seating process is pathetic with the expectation of patrons standing in line but does nothing when others walk in and seat themselves. We waited 20+ minutes for service and the bill was brought before the drinks or food! Had to ask 4 times for a waitress to refill our drinks. Maria had no personality or interest in providing customer service - she obviously hated her job today. Disappointing in whole but the folks at the bar seem to be pounding them back so possibly the booze is better.
