Rocco's Tavern -Pasadena

Came here after an event at the Rose bowl. The staff was able to handle the surprise crowd with speed and grace. The beers were delicious, all of the staff was very friendly and the pizza tasted amazing after a day in the sun. Pizza fries needed a little salt though.

Aside from the happy hour deal, it’s not worth it. I had 2 beers, 1 burger, wings, and 1 appetizer $94 in total w/o tips. On top of that, the food was way too greasy.

Good food and decent service. I had Alfredo which was a tad bland but still tasty. Boneless wings were good, wraps and chicken parm were all above average. Drinks were mostly timely and good. Tvs in every view made watching football easy. Parking was tough but we expected that.

So call their famous chicken wings… harder than a wood stick, 0 marinade. The bar is not even full but so little waiter… asked for napkins 4 times for more than 40 minutes. Food super expensive for no reason, drinks are okay

Our server was fantastic, even though it was packed! All of the servers were squeezing through the crowd. The pizza was delicious, wings perfectly cooked, the house salad is great, though I didn't get any green olives. But, above average food for a sports bar.

By far, the best sports bar in Pasadena. We love Barney's but the service is almost always terrible. Always great service at Rocco's and the best food of any of the sports bars. Their pizza is excellent. We order the caesar salad eveytime.

The atmosphere and staff are great. Didn't get a chance to really check out the food, but the appetizers were yummy. We came here at the beginning and end of our trip.

Cool bar to catch a game, socialize, and have some drinks. Is always busy so if you want to catch a table make sure you arrive early. Service is a hit and miss. No parking, you will have to park in the parking structure accross.

Rocco's food and restaurant is amazing. The pizza, grilled shrimp, and boneless BBQ wings are our favorite. The service is great as well. Our server was Joi and she was very friendly. She hustled, checked on us multiple times, and made sure that we were well taken care of. She had a positive attitude and refilled our drinks many times without us having to ask.

Surprise surprise surprise... I was in town for a concert and time to kill with some pre gaming. So I took to my handy dandy Yelp app and started searching. Soon after I found Rocco's. After a quick uber trip I found myself seated in front of what appeared a fun place to hang out. The bar was full as were the indoor booths. But that didn't bother me as the outdoor seating makes you feel emerged in the vibe. Moses advised it was happy hour and what the specials were. He also provided a menu to peruse. The menu contained your typical bar favorites from wings to pizza, to mozzarella sticks and oops they were out of zucchini. They also had sandwiches and pastas which looks really good as I saw them going by about to be served to other tables. We went with beers, served in nice sized beer mugs with sturdy handles, pizza and wings. The 911 was HOT and very tasty. Maybe too hot for some but just the right amount of heat for me.The lemon pepper fries were also tasty. The pizza was really good. Made in a this crust with fresh toppings and gooey cheese. The service was good and friendly. The food was delicious. The location was fun and friendly. I do look forward to going back. Thanks Rocco's...I'll be back when you get some zucchini for me to try :)

This place pops off!! Came here for Dodgers vs Yankees Game 1, and the place went wild. I dont remember much if the service was great or not, but it was just a great time. People were having a good time and drinks were getting served. Definitely consider one of the more social spots in Pasadena, I would come here to watch big sporting events. They will play the audio for the games!

Rocco's white pie is my favorite. I crave it all the time! Their wings are amazing too so we have trouble deciding between ordering the pizza or wings. We usually end up getting both and having leftovers for days because the pizza is giant lol I don't think their pastas or appetizers are good but the pizzas and wings are amazing. And you can't beat their generous happy hours that go to 7pm! Service is always fast but we were served by Studio City location's manager Bridget who was at the Pasadena location the other night and she was just the best!! So attentive and friendly, even to our little dogs. We had the best service and such a great time thank you :)

I enjoy going to Rocco's and this location when I visit Pasadena. Parking can be tough but there are some parking lots within the vicinity. I have ordered and eaten their mussel appetizer and when it arrived it looked very very small but just thought maybe there were no shells. I counted 12 mussels and in putting the side plate in the bowl you really understood what was served and at a 20.99 cost super disappointing. If they did not have the serving needed then not take the order. I am glad to order the cheese pizza to go for my kiddos or else it would have been limited.

Great service and hospitality. From the hostess to the server. Our server was Moises and he made sure we were always taken care of, with what we needed. We had a fiver star rating due to our server making sure he gave us the upmost customer service.

Ok, its a sports bar. You should know what you are getting. And what are you getting? A very lively atmosphere, with great staff and food (and yes, I am riding high on UCLA beating Oregon at the buzzer). The staff was very accommodating. They looked for the game I wanted to watch, found it, and sat my buddy and me in the section. They were busy as a whole, but they made sure we always had our drinks refilled, our food was ok, and that we were having an overall good experience. The food: Yeah, we got the basics. We're guys, we're watching sports, we ordered the reliables....just go with it. Their wings were quite good. They were not dry, and the spice level was just perfect (enough of a kick, but not enough to make you gasping for water......or whiskey). The cheese pizza was just that....a standard, but delicious, cheese pizza. Pizza and wings....when done right, an amazing combination. When done right with alcohol and an enjoyable venue, they're even more delectable. After we left, the server informed us of specials they have on varying days. Sure, it was promotional, but if I didn't live in Sacramento, I feel I would probably mosey on over here once or twice a month for a good college basketball game.

How fun is it to discover a wonderful place that has been there all along?! This restaurant is located on one of my favorite blocks in all of LA and yet I only discovered it a week ago :) in that time, I've been twice, and both times I can say the experience was lovely. The outdoor space is really great, the happy hour specials are *chef's kiss* (two for one drifor a very generous time period daily), and the food is great. Part of me wants to keep it all to myself but my greater desire is to share with all of you so that they continue to be successful! Especially love the PEI mussels :) Updating: recently this place has really gone downhill. It took over 10 minutes standing outside when it was pretty empty for someone to even come to see about seating us, and when we were seated and while we ate there were flies constantly swarming. It was very unpleasant and unappetizing.

Came here for my first time and our waiters name was Moises. He was great, friendly, and welcoming. Although they were busy he made it a point to make sure that our table had what they needed. Great customer service and truly cared about his customers.

Came here after work with some friends for food and drinks, and it definitely has more of a bar vibe. The place was busy, with plenty of TVs for watching sports if you're into that. We ordered a pizza with 5 toppings of our choice, and to my surprise, it was pretty good! We also got some zucchini fries, which were decent, not too oily. Overall, the vibe was good, and I could see myself coming back--especially for the pizza, which was surprisingly fire!

Met up with a friend here to watch Thursday night football. Lots of tv's and fun atmosphere. Food was delicious and service was great. I'll definitely come back.

We have been a couple times. The first time, the pretzel and cheese sauce was amazing. But the use of Fabuloso cleaner is overpowering and off-putting. We opted to eat outside, we had to move away from the opening of the large doors and the smell as still overpowering . We waited a long time for our mediocre food.

Decent food overall... pretty good pizza and wings and a good server! Pretty nice vibe in there with enough TVs for sports. I'll just say the issue is the price of food and drinks was a little high. That combined with adding an automatic gratuity before you get your bill if it was over $150 was kinda tacky. It was only two of us with a few drinks and food in a not busy Sunday night...not really expecting that. (Otherwise 4-5 star spot if they fix $19 for 10 wings and $12 beers.)

It's been so long since I've been to a sports bar because the vibes since before the pandemic have been lackluster, but I had friend in town, and I needed to find a good spot in between us, and I'd always wanted to check out Rocco's. They definitely have a ton of TVs and it's got a nice open environment with outside seating as well as inside but with a big garage door that allows both the inside and outside visually connected . If you get there before 11 AM, you will have to order from the breakfast menu because they don't serve the good stuff until 11 AM which is about halfway through the second quarter NFL game. You're gonna drop some coin if you're sitting through 3+ hours of games, so just know that going in; $50 seems about the minimum for that span of squatting and enjoying the atmosphere.

Old Pasadena area was very lively on a Friday night. We came in for late dinner at 9p. Not as much sports-related shows playing on the screens given that NHL and NBA season was almost over at the time and NFL hasn't even started yet. They were playing Jeopardy on almost all of their screens and maybe MLB lol. The restaurant was still poppin' even after dinner hours, most tables were occupied. They have outside seats close to the streets with heaters. Grilled Salmon | It came with mixed vegetables and side salad. The salmon portion was very generous! It was flaky and juicy. The mixed vegetables looked like they were grilled and were seasoned well. Pizza, 10" Deluxe Pie | Bruhhh the dough was too good!!! It seemed to be hand tossed because the dough was so soft and chewy, but the ends were crusty, it was perfect! Highly recommend. Menu: A wide selection of items to choose from. Wings, pizza, seafood, pasta, salad and burgers. Service: The waiter was friendly, but not sure if he knew what was going on in the kitchen/bar area lol We were told draft beers were not available due to some technical issues, but we saw the other tables getting served draft beers, hmmm. Parking: Metered parking on the streets and parking garages within walking distance.

Rococo's Tavern is deceiving with its happy hour menu. You will get an added on gratitude if you have a bill over $100. (Which is illegal in the state of CA) Plus not to mention that if you don't pay cash there is a cashless fee. As for the manger Joy she acts friendly with the customers but she talks smack about each customer and it can be heard from the restroom. I would not recommend this place as they deceive you with their "Happy Hour" prices and their workers are secretly all snakes. If I could give a negative review I would!

FYI: gratuity is included, NO MATTER HOW LARGE THE PARTY. My husband and I visited for dinner, had to wave down the server multiple times, horrible service. Despite this we were automatically charged gratuity because the check was more than $150. Would not recommend for anything other than happy hour and even then be careful how much you spend.

Food is great, sports vibe is great but It smells like Fabuloso and I just can't get past it.

I went to Happy Hour here with a group of old coworkers. Their happy hour entailed double drinks for the price of one. The drinks are not strong by any means. Our waitress did a pretty decent job of checking up on us and we were a very large party (about 25-30 people). I was impressed that they were so on top of it. It's not a place I would go to again unless I was meeting up with others. Lots of televisions for the sports fanatics, though!

Roccos is an excellent establishment to enjoy football matches. They have an outstanding Happy Hour special where you can get double drinks for the price of one. In addition, they have 16 tvs for your viewing pleasure, as well as exceptional food and attentive service. Location is

This place is usually pretty chill and a good place to watch a game. But when I last came here (6/30/24), I was having margs & appetizers and the margaritas came out extremely salty. As if there were a layer of salt on the bottom of the drink. I complained to our server "Papers" (older Hispanic dude) that my drink was salty and he basically told me that since I tasted it, I have to keep it and pay for it. That didn't sit well with me bc I'm a paying customer and the drink was made poorly. I was still willing to pay in exchange for a better drink. I brought it up the female manager / or lead & she was willing to comp or exchange it right away. Meanwhile, I get the bill and he charged me my drink and the drink he "exchanged" me for. Doubling my bill. I brought it up to manager and she was quick to comp out the extra drink. Our server "Papers" gave us a tough time about the whole situation and definitely dampened our night and experience at Rocco's.

it was a fun experience dining in at rocco's. very lively atmosphere with lots of people (mainly friends or couples) and a great happy hour deal! lots to choose from the menu - we ordered a pizza and rounds of drinks with their BOGO deals during happy hour. really generous portions of food and alcohol. it does get pretty loud in the restaurant, and there's only one bathroom available for each gender so there may be a line. food: 8/10 customer service: 7/10

Came on a Sunday afternoon to watch the NBA Finals Heat Nuggets game 2. Seating was self seating, you choose your table and a waiter takes your food/drink order. You can also order your own drink at the bar and take it to your table. Our group of 4 came for drinks and shared the loaded nachos with chicken. We thought the nachos were pretty solid for the price and enjoyed the atmosphere because they had multiple tv's for the Dodgers/Yankees game and Heat/Nuggets game. Workers were very attentive when we requested them to change the tv to the basketball game and they were very willing to help out. Would come back for happy hour.

Can't comment on the food/ambience in a sober state, but for drunk munchies, this was phenomenal. We ordered the garlic bread and the baked Mac and cheese and it was heavenly.

Was looking for a sports bar with an energetic vibe and good food. This place had relatively good reviews on Yelp so decided to give it a try. Glad I did. The bar seating throughout the restaurant was extremely comfortable. They allowed me to bring my small dog, which I so greatly appreciated. The service was excellent, especially our server Joy! She was pleasant and friendly. She checked on us regularly to make sure our drinks weren't empty and our stomach's full We ordered the calamari fritti and wings -original and honey bbq. I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. They have the best Happy Hour M-F - 12:00-7:00 Sat and Sunday- 3:00-7:00 Every night 10:00-close I am so excited they have a studio city location. Had a lot of fun and looking forward to returning.

A great place to watch sports and for a round (or two) of drinks. Food is good too, albeit a bit heartburn inducing. The main reason to go is CHRIS behind the bar... the BEST!

2 for 1 happy hour and wings/pizza. Does that sound fun? Then check out Rocco's. You will be able to enjoy a game, but keep in mind it will get loud. PS: waitress specifically told us it's half off happy hour, but I can confirm it's 2 for 1. There is a difference.

Stay away!!!! Our party of 8 got there early to watch the Dodger game today because Rocco's was not taking reservations. Got two nice tables, after an hour we were told by the waitress that we needed to move due to the owner wanting the tables that we were seated at. So we moved, now at a new table, ordered food and drinks, after about an hour... the same sweet waitress comes to let us know that we would need to move again because the owner now wanted these tables too! UNBELIEVABLE!! At this point we just decided to pay the bill and find a place to watch the game. Way to go Rocco's! Now our party of 10 is enjoying the game at Barney's Beanery! Never again Rocco's! That is bad business! Reserve your tables before opening!! Don't kick paying patrons around!

Food atmosphere drinks and service was great had a fun time watching the Dodger game but FYI I'm a New York Yankees fan it was great to talk to baseball fans while eating good food in Pasadena

Food was fantastic I mean what can you go wrong for bar food. Wing pizza and fries. The best part it's happy hour daily 3-7 on drinks and 9pm-close for drinks and appetizers. Service was ok not the greatest but it could be better. 1 server on Sunday afternoon so drinks and food took a little longer. But hey drink that drink watch sports games and enjoy the moment. It does get pretty loud in here so be prepared for guest and customers cheering for their team.

Food: Very good for bar food. Wings and pizzas are phenomenal, everything else I've tried is solid. And big portions too. (4.5/5) Service: Not the greatest. It gets too slow when it's crowded, and it gets crowded here a lot. I've been here three times and it was the same every time, a little too understaffed. Bartenders were great at pouring drinks though. (3.5/5) Ambiance: If you like your sports bars loud and rowdy (and I personally do), this is a great spot especially for college or pro football. If you want space to walk through aisles and hear your own thoughts, then I would find another spot in Old Town. Tip: When I say the pizza is top-tier, I mean it. Try that if it's your first time. Also, if you're a Dodgers/Lakers/USC/UCLA fan, this is the place to watch a big game.

A fun bar & grill in Pasadena on Green St. There is inside & outside seating, televisions and a happy, helpful staff. The food menu has a pretty good selection & the food we ordered was tasty! It can get loud, esp during Happy Hour, the customers are really enjoying themselves! Rocco's is a great place to meet up!

Delicious. Unique. I could find myself frequenting here more often than my own home. I wonder if they offer a bed.

Went in there to watch an NFL game (Wk1) 10am games and none of the TV were broadcasting the correct games (couldn't watch my team play) .. Over priced food and drinks.. The food item I ordered(spinach and egg breakfast burrito ) was bland, no flavor from the spinach or cheese, and the Mojito was totally watered down.. The servers you can tell were tired from yesterdays college festivities, and then turn around and deal with early NFL fans.. With tax and all, I spent nearly $40 dollars... Mind you two little items..Naw.. I'm cool on this place, wont see me there ever again. besides parking is a major issue around there... Ya'll can miss me with Rocco's Tavern..

I love their happy hour. They also have amazing pizza and wings. The food is a must have

i came in for dinner with four friends and really was amazed MOISES walk us through the menu and all his suggestions was on point he recommended the cheese bread ay he said to add the pepperoni it was amazing my friend wasn't sure what to have to drink and he said the bartender made an amazing lemon drop and the doubles were a better deal she absolutely loved it then he suggested a large antipasta salad for the table I wanted fettuccine and he suggested the garlic Alfredo with shrimp delicious then he suggested the brownie for dessert and our drinks were never empty we will come back and ask for him again we've been to the west hollywood location much better service here

I was looking for a sports bar and hit the jackpot. I came on a Monday right before happy hour ended and was able to get some really good local beers. The place is self-seating and although it was pretty crowded, I was able to get a table quickly and comfortably sit 5 people. The service was super quick and our server was able to give us some good wing recommendations. That being said, the Baltimore "Dirty Style" was really good. In my opinions better than the Hot Honey BBQ flavor. We also got the Rocco's Itallian fries and the sauce it came with was delicious. Street parking was easy to find and free after 6pm.

Rocco's is one of my favorite sports bars. Definitely a great place to go to for happy hour and/or a late dinner when you don't feel like cooking during the week. The buffalo chicken wings are so good and I also recommend the buffalo chicken wrap!

We like to come to Rocco's before we go to the Rose Bowl since they have a great vibe, plus Happy Hour on weekends too. Plenty of TVs, good food and drinks. The pizzas are pretty tasty as well as the sandwiches. Hard to go wrong here.

Special thank you to chris! Got the drunken clams at he's request and they were amazing! Everyone was hospitable and made our night special! Will definitely be coming back! Will definitely be a new favorite spot for me and my friends!

Arrived early to watch Sunday football. Wife waited no one acknowledged her. Finally they found a seat and were rudely told it was reserved. Then they find a seat with good views of the Rams game on three TVs. The game starts and they charge the Rams game off of two. Kindly asked them to change it and got real attitude. Quickly finished our drinks and moved on.

Every time I come to Rocco's Tavern Pasadena Chris and Papers take such good care of me! Not only is the customer service always the best I ever receive in this city, but the conversations are even better! You've got to make it down to this place as soon as you can. Ask for Chris or Papers!

We love Rocco's!!! Best seating is outside if available. Love the mussels! But haven't had a bad meal. Favorite waiter is Johnny Papers(not sure if got that right) Chris is friendliest bartender in town! He pours a drink like I pour at home ;) Cheers! I'm the guy that rides up on the wheel.

Food and service were excellent! Portions were big and staff is friendly. They have outside seating and public parking is just across the street.

Moises did his BIG one. He's a STAR. If you want ranch just ask for garlic aioli SOOO good. Hot honey was not spicy at all, don't recommend it. Anyways 2 for 1 is the move.
