New French Bakery Rocheli Patisserie Is Opening in Central East Austin | Eater Austin

"A new French-style bakery opening in Central East Austin at 1212 Chicon Street offers a full range of pastries and beverages. Operating since 2012 as a customizable bakery service and known for specialty cakes, the shop will sell cakes, croissants (including triple-chocolate Nutella and almond varieties), macarons, cream puffs, decorated cookies and other buttery treats, plus tea, coffee (including flavored lattes), hot chocolate and sodas. A planned tea service with pastry towers is temporarily on hold due to COVID-19 safety measures. Owned and operated by Nelly Garcia — a 2015 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree — along with her sister Linda Garcia and their mother Rosa Nelly Caballero, the team previously worked under Buddy Valastro of Cake Boss. The storefront opens Saturday, February 13, will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will host a virtual ribbon-cutting on Facebook Live the preceding Friday." - Erin Russell

Google
The bakery setting and atmosphere was very cute and chill vibes. They had the mousses on display and looked very aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, we did not get to try them since they were 2 week pre-order. I did try some of the cupcakes and tarts which were a bit sweet for me. It was fun to visit but not my usual taste in dessert places

Google
Underwhelming for astronomical prices. Dry croissant dessert & the pear mousse had no flavor or pear ? Just cream. Cute idea & nice staff, but they would benefit from vamping up their unique offerings.

I went to check this place out after seeing posts about it online. The Dubai coffee wasn’t my favorite as it was too sweet for me and tasted more like a dessert than coffee. The desserts, on the other hand, were great. I had the Flight to Paris and the croissant supreme. I would definitely order both again. The croissant supreme is like a crème brûlée croissant with a custard filling and a crunchy caramelized sugar coating. I’d honestly come back just for that. The shop itself is super cute. I love the pink heart-shaped straws they use. Service was quick and easy. My friend and I noticed they also offer afternoon tea, but you have to make a reservation in advance. It’s a great spot to catch up with a friend or get some work done and the location is also close to a lot of nice spots in the area. Street parking can be a little tough to find, but I’ve never had a problem.

We came here to try the viral fruit desserts. We tried each of them and my favorite was the raspberry. Such a cute atmosphere with unique desserts and pastries.

I’m not the type to leave a review but no this is crazy a hair in my mousse cake I’m never eating here again. First n foremost I was supposed to pick up my order this past Thursday I couldn’t go bc I was feeling unwell I tried calling them no answer. so I went the next day ( Friday ) to pick up. Mind you they don’t write on your receipt or before hand of ordering that you need to pick up that same day. ( keep in mind I told the lady I tried calling them and they didn’t answer she says they were packed with customers… it’s going to be packed on a Thursday?!? I’d believe Friday but the place was empty Friday.) I go the next day and the lady says I need to reschedule bc they don’t want to sell me 5 day old products “ what do you mean 5 day old product only 1 day has passed for it to even be considered 5 days old . so we are getting charged 64 for products that are days old this is crazy mind you I asked her so yall are selling products that are 5 days old she says yes and proceeds to say I have to reschedule for Sunday i told her my order shouldn’t be 5 days old when I pick up Sunday I want my order fresh for the price I’m paying. I pick up today & a hair this is nasty never coming back waste of money overhyped.

Google
Great deserts with great service in a cutesy place. Idk what deserts prices are supposed to be but I was good with it. I like the little station for extra cutlery, coco powder, and other options. I parked right outside but I saw there was more parking outback so I wouldn't believe there is a bad parking situation.

Google
My custom baby shower cake came out so beautiful, and tasted delicious. Their cookie dough cake flavor was so good! Highly recommend them for designing your custom cake. They also made me a matching set of custom cake pops that tasted so good!!

Google
Amazing fruit mousses! Got a four pack and each one was delicious and perfect looking. Super friendly, courteous staff and a very cute shop. Highly recommend for foodies or special occasions.

Yelp
This is the sweetest coffee shop ever, in more ways than one! The decor is so very French, and all the pastries look beautiful and scrumptious! My running group held our monthly Sunday coffee run from there, and it was one of my favorite places. Right after our group walked, the pastry chef/server presented us with a tray of freshly baked complimentary puff pastries. They were delicious...flaky and just sweet enough. Because she was wearing a beret and looked very French, I asked the server if she indeed was of that nationality. She replied no, but said she was trained by a French pasty chef. She learned well! (I don't normally eat sweets, but I couldn't resist having one. It was not too sweet..:just flaky and perfect!) I ordered a standard coffee. Because there were so many of us ordering coffee and specialty drinks, it took a while to get them . But I could forgive the slowness; we were enjoying ourselves during the wait. Wonderful coffee shop that I will go back to!

Yelp
Cute and pretty space. Disappointed with the pastries. Ordered the strawberries and cream croissant and the Kouigh-amann and both were ice cold and not fresh. I'm surprised the owner serves old pastries. A deal breaker for me is being served ice cold old pastries. The pistachio latte was lukewarm. Also ordered the fruit mousse- chocolate hazelnut crunch and pistachio cherry christmas tree. Both ice cold as well, taste was okay, not great. Not worth the $14.99 each price. I've been to other pastry shops in the area and most serve fresh pastries and I have visited pastry shops in Europe (Paris, Rome, London, Florence, Geneva to name a few) so I can spot fresh and tasty pastries. Not coming back and will not recommend.

Yelp
Walk into the cutest little shop that gives off Parisian vibes. We originally came for the viral fruit mousse. Looks like these can only be purchased pre-order guys so order them before you come. They still had other unique pastry options so we had to try. This would be a great place to wear that cute little dress you've always been wondering where to wear. Bring your girls (daughters or besties) and enjoy!

Yelp
I heard about this place and their gorgeous pastries. It has taken me a while to finally come here. There is a struggle to find parking. It's limited street parking. The pastries are all in glass cases. They're all very beautiful. They are a little pricey, but if they are as good as they look, well worth it. You can truly see that these pastries are hand done and I'm sure it takes a lot of patience for these works of art to be complete. I did purchase the white chocolate raspberry tart. They packed it up nicely in a box and I brought it home. The tart isn't sugary sweet. It's very light and fluffy. The raspberry filling is satisfying. The tart itself is a little hard to cut with a fork, but it was still good. I would come back if I'm in the area again

Yelp
Enthusiastic locals practically pushed me through the doors of Rocheli Patisserie, and I'm so glad they did. I came back three times during a short trip because everything about this place pulled me in! Each pastry feels like a work of art. The croissant was flaky layers of buttery perfection, the chocolate éclair rich without being over the top, and the apple tart? Honestly, unforgettable. Everything I sampled on my multiple trips blew me away. The staff were so kind and welcoming every time I walked in, pair that with an ambiance that feels like stepping into a Parisian dream with floral touches, glowing neon signs, and an elegance that makes you feel like you're about to have tea with royalty..and it's pure magic! This patisserie isn't just beautiful it is the kind of place that lingers with you long after you've left. I can't wait to return!

Yelp
This place is MAD cute and very my style with the floral cocktails/airy French theme inside. The server was helpful and sweet, and my rose tea latte which she recommended was perfectly sweet and floral, without being too sweet. The pastries looked amazing too but I didn't get any since I was getting dessert somewhere else after. They have some tables and seats along the wall and just inside; there aren't a lot but when I came on a Thursday in the late afternoon around 4:30-5p only one other table was taken. I was there to study for an hour before dinner and the French music and summery vibe made for a very cozy spot. There was one unisex bathroom, it was quite clean. And you can park directly in front of the place free along the road (parallel parking). Overall will def be back to try other drinks including their Paris fog (lavender latte) and other floral drinks!

Yelp
I pre-ordered a fruit mousse box from Rocheli Patisserie and enjoyed the viral sweet treats at home. At the time of ordering (October 2025), the fruit box contained 4 mousses for about $64. You were only able to pre-order the box, not individual mousses. And the mousses were ONLY available via pre-order. The mousses were tasty but not worth the price, in my opinion. The apple was the best, featuring apple chunks inside the mousse. The pear contained pear chunks too. And while the chocolate exteriors were gorgeous, yummy and so smooth, I just don't think they are worth the price, if you have to order all four. If you have the extra spending money and are going to be in Austin for a few days, make a pre-order and get a box to share with others! But I wouldn't say this is a must try. The mousses must be refrigerated. They are not travel friendly.

Yelp
Super cute French inspired bakery that just opened in East Austin. Parking is difficult on the street but around the corner there is additional free parking. The cafe is small but definitely great for photo ops with friends. The viral mouse fruit desserts are a bit pricey but delicious and with the splurge. The cafe recommends pre ordering certain items since they have been going viral online. They offer a variety of teas, French style pastries and mouse desserts!

Yelp
I drove an hour based on their viral fruit mousse desserts. The website is a broken Square site with no menu, no clear ordering process, and booking links that do not work. When I arrived there were more than a dozen fruit mousse desserts in the case. I wanted 6. When I began to tell her which ones, the attendant stopped me to say I could not purchase any because they are special order items that must be ordered in advance on the website. That's fine of course. The one problem I had is, there is nothing on the website indicating this, and there is no way to order anything there anyway. I double checked when I got back in my car, and then I called the bakery after leaving and the employee on the phone confirmed that there is actually no way to order on the website at all and that orders must be placed by phone or Instagram DM. That directly contradicts what I was told in person not but 5 minutes prior. I left feeling disappointed to say the least. I could clearly see multiple trays of the exact desserts I came for, but was told I was not allowed to buy them. This was one and a half hours before closing, mind you. I had so many questions. Were they expecting a rush and didn't want to sell to me? Were they other customers' special orders and they were waiting for them to come pick them up? Were they just beautiful display desserts only intended to show what they look like? If so, a sign stating so would have brought my review up to 3 stars. The customer experience was robotic, unhelpful, and contradictory. I don't think I'm ever make another trip there. This bakery needs to fix its digital ordering process, fix its training, and stop confusing customers as some of us are travelling to purchase items that are on display but not actually available for sale. I was so excited to visit. But I left not knowing what to think about the place. If I were to be generous I'd sum up my experience as 'confusing'. If I were to give in to my concerns, I'd say I left feeling snubbed.

Yelp
Went here with Jamie A for a pastry catchup chat. We picked this for the Dubai Chocolate Croissant we had seen on Instagram. The spot is cute and they connect well with the French vibe by the staff wearing berets and the "Bonjour" greeting. The case has works of art in it - however, I think some look better than they tasted. What we came for was just OK - the pistachio cream wasn't quite as prominent as we thought it should have been and the chocolate glaze on top was a bit too much. It's an intimate vibe with small cafe tables. There is a gender-neutral bathroom. Parking is neighborhood streets only, but was relatively easy for us both to find.

Yelp
I loved the cute perfect pastries and gorgeous cupcakes I even felt compelled to spring for a dog maccaron for Gus Gus, my bosses dog! What a cute idea, and the coffee was strong and good. I especially loved how the owner leaned in to make sure I had a great experience, wearing a cute pink beret, so parfaît. My only regret is that my phone wasn't charged up enough to take pics!

Yelp
I was so excited to find this shop. After watching the Gilded Age on HBO I planned a themed staycation for my 40th birthday. I found their communication to be nice and visited in person before placing my order, but I have to say I was disappointed in the product received. I provided several inspiration pictures of different cakes and asked if they could surprise me with a design but incorporate a light green somewhere as it's my birthstone. I was told they'd make me something unique, but was left feeling like they didn't even try. I even paid extra to add 4 macarons which were never received. When discussing cake flavors it wasn't clear that you cannot select a filling option to the custom cake flavors they offered, so I was under the impression it would have a raspberry filling. Although the shop did offer to allow me to come back for a high tea service I declined because frankly I'm just hurt and embarrassed to have paid $140 for a mini cake that didn't taste great (flavors were dry and the interior icing wasn't very palatable). It also had a plastic straw embedded in the middle no one warned me about. I ended up having at add rose petals to cover the frosting I messed up by trying to insert one candle because I never knew a straw was there until we cut it open. In the shop you can purchase larger 2 tiered cakes that aren't customizable for about $65 which seems like a better option in hindsight. I messaged them same day and hastily agreed to just a refund of the macarons left off the order, but I'm writing this review after I've had time to think and don't feel a $13 refund seems sufficient. Sincerely, a disappointed patron

Yelp
Definitely a cute spot to visit with friends and for the aesthetic, but a bit overpriced for the pastries and drinks. The lattes were good but pretty ordinary, even when you add the different syrups. The berry tart was okay but not anything special, but the chocolate croissant was pretty good!
google avatar

Yelp
I would first like to compliment the ambiance of this place. It is a beautiful little shop in Austin with lovely customer service. The spot is a cute for a girls spot or just for fun. Now let's get down to the bakery offerings and coffee. I think the presentation is adorable, your coffee with a pink heart shaped straw. Absolutely! The coffee itself did not taste like it had much flavoring. There were rose petals present but it tasted no different than an ordinary coffee. Given, there another coffee shop right next door coming for coffee is debatable. Coming for sweet treats, however, especially one where you want to share the presentation is a good idea! The supreme croissant: I really enjoyed this creme filled croissant with a crackle from the outside coating. I would say the pricing was fair given the presentation and how yummy it was. I will definitely have to come back to try their other croissant offerings. Macaroons: Okay, side note, as a baker, I consider myself a macaroon enthusiast! While, I only remembered to take one picture, I order two orders of 6 pieces (12 total) to try every macaroon in their selection. My favorite was the Cherry and the raspberry cheesecake. While the flavors were good, I wish I would have asked how fresh they were. I ordered a lot and was disappointed that some I bit into were stale. I feel like this shop does need to be careful with how long they are keeping them lingering. I felt like each one was inconsistent, but the blueberry lemon ones specifically were all stale and hard to chew. That's why they lost a star. Cheers, give it a try for yourself. It's cute for the vibrant feel.

Devon D.

Yelp
Everything looks so beautiful in the case. I really wanted to like it, I only tried one treat - the chocolate eclair and it was not for me at all. If you had someone close their eyes before they took a bite I truly don't think they would even be able to tell it was a chocolate dessert. It tasted like straight powdered sugar, and maybe like it was stale. You know when your mom used to make something with butter that had been in the fridge too long and it develops that weird "fridge taste". Like that. Maybe they need to clean their display case or maybe it was old. I don't know... would not recommend.
google avatar

JD D.

Yelp
So cute and has really unique and tasty coffee flavors! Their croissants are good but I haven't tried their teas or other pastries yet. I did try a little trio that was good. Even their to go cups are good, has a little raised sippy part lol

Ana B.

Yelp
This patisserie is fabulous! It's the perfect little shop off the beaten path. I've gone a few times and am actually surprised it doesn't have higher ratings. The croissants are delicious especially their specialty filled ones. The few I have pair so perfectly with an iced americano. Service is always good and employee are kind. Definitely a repeat customer

Yelp
September 2024 Wildly unimpressive. Outrageously overpriced. Like putting lipstick on a pig, Rocheli is clearly more concerned with presentation than developing flavors. Everything I tried was mostly bland and lacked cohesion. Will not return. *staff was friendly Apple Tart Boring and bland. The char on the decorative apple topping provides unwelcome bitterness that detracts from the other flavors. And that's a big deal, given that there are hardly any other flavors present. The coagulated custard center is bland and uninviting. The crust is nice but is a wasted vessel. The "suidgey" texture of the apple topping combine with the gloppy texture of the filling is deeply unpleasant and is unaided by the crust. Do not recommend. 1/10 Pistachio Rose: Boring and bland. The pastry has a "squidgey" texture that's unappealing. The pastry cream has no flavor. The center "donut" is filled with a rose-flavored jelly that's nice and delicate. The green topping has no flavor. Couldn't detect any pistachio flavor anywhere in the pastry. Do not recommend. 1/10 Pistachio Meyer Lemon: A dolled-up lemon square. No pistachio flavor found. Hints of unpleasant bitterness found throughout. Nothing special and underwhelming. Certainly not worth the cost. Do not recommend. 3/10

Yelp
This is such a beautiful & unique little cafe! The decor is magnificent, with fresh and refreshing colors, white, pinks, violets. It is clean & neat, with gorgeous delicious & delectable patisserie. The latte was amazing. I had a croissant, then I had a couple macaroons. The lavender and pistachio macaroons were out of this world. I ended up buying the chocolate raspberry cake and a tart on the way out which were equally out of this world. Boy, do I recommend this place, my compliments to the young lovely baker who makes everything in the display cases.

Yelp
What a cute pastry and dessert bakery! It was a weekend morning and we were feeling like a treat and saw great reviews for Rocheli Patisserie. The inside was so cute and really allowed us to relax and savor the experience. The staff were so sweet and kind, and the whole shop gave happy/uplifting vibes. My personal favorite may have been the rose flavored eclair. I can't wait to come back - reminded me of the cafes we visited while in Paris. Also, I'd definitely say this spot is worth the slight $$ as you can tell these pastries were made with extra care. Can't wait to come back!! (I also saw a sign for a high tea experience here as well. Something unique to look into!)

Tito L.

Yelp
Very poor quality. Just had the chocolate-pistachio and it would have been of poor quality even if fresh. But it was also stale. The pink coconut chai latte was loaded with sugar. Service was not bad and the ambiance was nice But overall, just save your money. Unhappy First, and only, time client
google avatar

Cherry Y.

Yelp
The charming ambiance at Rocheli Patisserie, adorned with a cute decor, makes it a visually appealing spot. It seems that they change around the decor throughout the year --when I first visited around Thanksgiving, they were giving cute pumpkin vibes, and now, Christmas (albeit a tad bit late). This time, I ordered a rose/strawberry latte (forgot the name, it may be Paris Latte?) and two tarts, which left me with mixed feelings - they were decent, but not exceptional. If you're looking for a place with Instagram-worthy aesthetics, Rocheli Patisserie has it, but the flavor wasn't the main highlight for me.
google avatar

Pree R.

Yelp
Probabaly the cutest bakery/patisserie I have come across on my Austin adventures so far! Rocheli brings the best of France to the best state in the US, LOL! The vibe is all there, thanks to the super cute "Bonjour Austin" neon light sign at the front. I ended up visiting during "Barbie weekend" (not planned at all) so they had some extremely pink/Barbie-themed desserts, but I ended up sharing a lavender lemon custard tart and a pistachio eclair with my company. They also have an wide assortment of iced teas and latted, and I helped myself to a rose-flavored one of course! If you have a sweet tooth and a hankering for pink, Rocheli is the way to go!
google avatar

Priscilla F.

Yelp
3.5/5 Rocheli is very aesthetically appealing and has been on my list of places to try for a while. However, the day we visited there was no option but to take the food & drinks to go. The seating inside is scarce, limited to only a couple of tables. That Saturday there was a baby shower reservation taking up most of the seats. The only other table was not part of the party but it was reserved as well. Definitely will have to book a table or tea party in advance. The pastry case is quite stunning and the drink menu was impressive as well. I went with a staff suggestion which was the almond croissant. The pastry filling was quite flavorful and the croissant itself very well crafted. I ordered a Marie Antoinette latte which sounded right up my alley. The drink itself was pink and glittery served with a heart straw so aesthetically the latte lived up to the namesake. Unfortunately, the coffee was burnt so I couldn't taste anything else. Next time I would order tea over coffee. Overall I would try this cafe again with a reservation for a tea party. It would be perfect for a special occasion. Let them eat cake!

Shauna C.

Yelp
Their pastries & drinks are always fresh and incredibly flavorful. I especially love their High Tea events, which I do once a month. They change their offerings with the season, always on point! Couldn't recommend this little slice of heaven more! From the staff, to the events to the treats - a must visit spot!

Daniel S.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a French bakery but Rocheli serves more then just the typical croissant & coffee. Came here last weekend to pick up a birthday cake I ordered and so glad I did. There were about a dozen different options to choose from but I ended up with the lavender & lemon cake. The flavors were so light and airy I could have easily eaten the whole cake with my partner in one sitting! Now back to the cafe while I was there I got the Marie Antoinette latte which had hints of rose and raspberry flavors it was so delicious I probably drank most of it before I got home. The overall patisserie isn't very big so if your coming to dine in on the weekend I'd make a reservation for high tea as it was pretty busy when I was there. The girls who work there are all dressed in cute French attire so helps with the overall theme and of course there's tons of different pastries options to choose from tarts to macarons to eclairs! I'll definitely be coming back here to try some of these yummy treats but can't thank Rocheli enough for making my partners birthday that much sweeter!
google avatar

Yelp
I love the ambiance such a cute place and delicious desserts! Staff was very friendly and nice.

Yelp
I flew in with some friends to celebrate a birthday and was looking for a bakery, and so glad I came across Rocheli. I emailed for a quote on Wednesday and that same day I heard back. Also, the cake was extremely moist, and the flavoring was spot on. The sweetness level was not overwhelming everyone enjoyed.
google avatar

Amy G.

Yelp
When you need a special little treat, keep Rocheli Patisserie in mind! I met some girlfriends here for tea and pastries a few weekends ago on a Sunday afternoon. Their baked goods are as delicious as they are gorgeous! The space was a little small, but we managed to snag a table. Their main demographic seems to be ladies who want a cute experience, but we saw people picking up a small wedding cake, couples, families, and even a single guy treating himself to several pastries. I got the Croissant Supreme, and I can see why it's a best seller! I'm not a big tea drinker, but I enjoyed the blueberry lemon tea. Now that I know it's in the neighborhood, I will have to stop by for an occasional to-go treat!

Yelp
I have been around the word and might I say, I found everything I had was made to mastery. I tried the chai vanilla cupcake and the flight to Paris which I forgot to picture! It had four mini resets and all were absolutely Divine. It was a mini tart mini apple pie a macaroon and something I wasn't sure if. All covers in gold dust! I was served promptly and i which I could have stayed in person cause this place was cuuuute!
google avatar

Amanda P.

Yelp
Ambience and food are out of this world. It really does feel like a French bistro - fancy and fun. The pistachio specialty coffee with the gold dust top is delicious and a work of art. My family always enjoys the fresh croissants and macaroons. We come here anytime we're in the area! Love it so much!
google avatar

Laarni C.

Yelp
We enjoyed Rocheli's afternoon "high tea " set up of fine French pastries in a cute setting! We would have liked more tea options and our own pot of teas on our table so we can pour for ourselves. Because of the petit tables, I don't think this was possible. Our server had to get the teas from a serving tray. Overall, we're happy there's another afternoon tea spot here in Austin!
google avatar

Ly N.

Yelp
I was here for a tea party with 3 other girls! The tea party set up was so cute. They us in a corner which had a pink/white flower wall. Two smaller tables were pushed together to build the set up for us. Each table had a double tiered pastry and sandwich set up along with tea cups for each of us. My favorite thing about this experience was there was a worker who would come by frequently and offer us different teas. She gave us her recommendations and was very friendly and attentive to us. I thought all the teas were really good! I wasn't able to try them all because there are so many options. They do give you milk and sugar to mix your tea as you like! The food and pastries were okay. I actually hated the sandwiches, which is kinda hard to do. The pastries were alright, the macaron was my favorite. Parking was fairly easy here. There is not a parking lot but there is plenty of street parking in the neighborhoods nearby.
google avatar

Phoenix P.

Yelp
The Brown Sugar Hazelnut Paris Brest is delicious. It's perfectly sweet, custardy yet light and airy. 10/10 and highly recommend. The crossiant supreme was just okay, it was a bit dense and bready. 5/10 and wouldn't get it again. I would be interested in coming back to try more pastries and desserts.

A cheery, "Bonjour!" when I walked into the adorable little shop with a few round tables to enjoy your treats. The staff was helpful describing all the pastries, including a rotational menu. I got a seasonal latte which had a little shimmer glitter on top! It was sweet so check for pumps of syrup if you like yours on the less sweet side. I also grabbed a chocolate croissant and it was good! They didn't warm it but I could have asked. I want to come back and try their high tea. I saw a few folks enjoying a three tier platter of pastries and tiny sandwiches plus a huge cart of unlimited teas to try.

Yelp
Loved the interior decoration of this place. It's such a cute vibe and the owner is so sweet. Walking in was like walking into my dream pinterest board. The pastry case was so cute and halloween themed! I loved the variety and everything looked so beautiful and tasty I wanted to try everything. The pumpkin spice latte was not worth the price, barely tasted the pumpkin and the latte itself was pretty weak too. The lavender honey croissant was good, not overpowering with lavender. The kouign aman was doughy and flavorless. The pear tart was also pretty flavorless. The champagne fruit tart was definitely my favorite, the cream was light on the delicious tart. Fruity and delicious. Overall, glad I got to come but wouldn't come back. The pastries are beautiful but mid.

Yelp
It's a cutesy shop, lots of fake plants, decorations, sparkles and glitter, with a wall with a stool and backdrop, all IG bait. Unfortunately, it looks better than the price is worth. The cheesecake was good, but we ordered a macchiato (it says espresso shot with frothed milk) and expected it to be fairly quick especially since we were the only people in the shop; We ended up pretty much finishing the dessert before our coffee even came out, and when it did, it was more like a latte, covered in weird flavored syrup and glittered caramel. It ended up being way too sweet. The cheesecake itself was very good; they only had a few "low-gluten" options, more of baked pastries than cakes, pies, etc. It was quite small though for $9.

Yelp
Rocheli is a solid bakery. The inside of the bakery is very cute and Instagram-worthy, as are their beautiful pastries on display. As far as taste goes, it's a little more style than substance - I had both the red velvet latte and a croissant supreme. The red velvet latte didn't really have any additional flavor so it tasted like a normal latte but was good. The croissant was a little hard and I think it could have been more delicate and flakey but the flavor and custard inside was delicious. Overall, a great cute place to meet people for coffee or dessert but you're paying a little more for the experience.

Yelp
Everything was delish. Very fluffy and flaky at the same time. The tea was so good as well. Will be visiting often.

Yelp
So who doesn't love a sweet treat ?! Mix sweets with a nice latte & good conversation ,I'm in. This cute little french bakery caught my eye as I was walking . Of course I decided to see what is was all about . Once I peeped my head in the door ,I was immediately attracted to the ambiance! That drew me all the way in. Then the sweet lady at the counter was so kind,I decided to grab a few extra treats she recommended. Then I called a friend who didn't live to far, cause I knew she would enjoy this spot as much as I was. She was so excited! We now both agree ,this is our quiet place we enjoy discussing our books . We enjoyed taking photos as well! You guys should try it out if your ever in the area.

Yelp
This is always my pit stop when I come into towne. The pastries are magnificent! Recommends: Croissant Supreme. Trust me, the filling was phenomenal. I wished I would have purcahsed a dozen!!! Sadly, I did not try the Supreme Croissant until I arrived home...I live four hours away! They have seasonals such as the pumpkin shaped cheesecake. I can't take it with me as it would deflate, but def grab some when you are dining in, I love their Afternoon Tea! It's one ofy favourite patisserie (maybe yhr only one in Austin?)!!!! Try thr fig and plu tose macarons! The associate even help me carry out to my car!

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and still enjoy it and look forward to my next visit. I love the ham and cheese croissant which has some special seasoning on the top, and they have lots of rotating seasonal drinks and treats. Cute Parisian vibe. Great place to do tea with the girls!

Yelp
What a picturesque spot! Very chic and uplifting aesthetic, but a calm and relaxed environment. The croissant was just the right amount of flakey and the vanilla latte was tasty to dip it in. Very quick service as well. I'll definitely go back when I'm on the east side of town.

Yelp
I was looking to have a nice time stopping by this place with my girlfriend of one year on our anniversary. But instead, what we received was slow service that resulted in a less than pleasant experience. Closed on Mondays and also doesn't take reservations in advance if they are closed(or at least when I emailed, she didn't get back to me till a day later); very little info is actually on the website, so if you have an occasion on Tuesday then I hope you have someplace else in mind. Seems overall just unorganized and unprofessional.

Yelp
These desserts are sooo cute! I'm not from Austin but I know of them because of their awesome social media presence on Instagram. They're some of the best looking desserts I've seen and also taste good as well. I had the honey lavender cupcake and rose latte. The rose latte was a bit strong on the rose but still drinkable. I LOVED the consistency of the cupcake frosting, although the cupcake itself was a bit on the drier side-not very moist. I was impressed at the culinary lavender added on to the inside of the cupcake as I don't see they often. My husband got a caramel latte and wasn't too impressed, but he devoured his desserts. One was the chocolate raspberry and the other an earl grey lemon tart. The Earl Grey was def our fave of everything we got. Its not what I expected only seeing it online, although it has a cute interior and exterior. Very nicely decorated and the cleanest restroom. We were greeted by kind staff & they helped us with whatever we needed. In all, I think it was good, although a bit over priced. I would return if I lived closer by and give it another chance to hopefully try a few more things I'd like more!

Yelp
Cute and delicious. Very insta-worthy and seasonally appropriate decor. A lot of tea and coffee options. Delicious floral notes to compliment the theme. The pastries were so yummy! I got the early grey lemon tart which was so lemony and delicious, the opera cake was decadent and chocolatey, and the ham and cheese croissant was flaky and savory and also so tasty. Not a lot of seating but they take reservations- catch them early to avoid the rush or needing a res. Highly recommend checking it out!
