Rock Bottom always has been and always will be about the beer. Every tank we tap represents hours of planning, experimentation, ingenuity and precision by your local Rock Bottom Brewmaster. The brew is great. Consistent quality beers. When you hit Rock Bottom, Food was okay but service was disappointing. All the steaks where over cooked. We had reservations, but were seated at the wrong table and made to move. Our order was called in way in advance, but was not ready when we arrived. The check was incorrect. We couldn't even find our waitress for the last 12 minutes and ended fetching our dessert plates ourselves. They don’t seem to handle large parties well.

#1 they take reservations via open table. #2 Good beer, it's a brewery. #3 Food is decent, but u go here for good beer. For a snack, I would suggest the hot pretzel. It comes with 2 large pretzels and this hot dipping sauce that was very good.

My wife and I went during happy hour on a Tuesday. Our waitress was nice and fast! Drinks could have been stronger but the second round was better. Food was good almost great. My wife had shrimp fajitas which she loved but the rice was a little under cooked. I had the bison burger which was excellent but I too had crunchy rice. Nice scenery on the outdoor patio so you can people watch while you eat. Be sure to join their club on their website to get 10 bucks off a purchase of $35 or more before you visit!

I visited Long Beach for a business trip. I passed by Rock Bottom a couple of times during my few outings and decided to stop in on my way back to my hotel. I'm glad I did. I sat at the bar and was immediately helped by the bartender Bentley, although she had several customers she took my order and made me a margarita, which was very good. My food arrived, I had a burger and onion rings and they tasted freshly prepared and both were quite good. I also tried several of their beers but my favorite was the Blind Landing Stout, if you like beer, chocolate and coffee you will likely love this beer. I also want to mention the bartender Bentley one more time she was amazing, I'm pretty sure she didn't stop moving the entire time I was is there she was either helping customers or cleaning up. She was engaging and pleasant to every customer I seen her interact with.

Decent selection of house brewed tap beers. Growler fills on Thursday for $8 is a major plus. Service goes back and forth some days it's great, some days... Anyway food is pretty good- standard American menu. Nice happy hour snack menu.

Enjoyed the evening on the patio - it was a 90 degree day but the air cooled quickly and it was a rare treat to watch the sunset. The Shattered Glass IPA was good, I’ve had a few better and many worse. The Gorgonzola Burger was good. Just remember if you want the Happy Hour price sit at the bar - kind of a bait and switch.

Food was great had steak with shrimp, Mac and cheese was yum.... service on the other hand was not good. Our waiter never came around could have used another round of drinks but no sign of server in sight .. when we were finally ready to go it took over half an hour and the guy still wouldn't get the check we had somewhere else to go so I got up to pay the bill and some guy was like you need to wait...I told him I waited half an hour luckily a kind young lady behind him heard me and took care of the bill and apologized, but don't plan on returning here

Looking for a brewery in the area, we stopped in Rock Bottom to check it out. It was a weekday so not busy at all. Grabbed a seat at the bar right away. My husband and I are both vegetarians so it's sometimes difficult to find food options that provide a full meal. We were able to get the veggie burger and the veggie tacos here and they were both awesome! Everything tasted fresh. The mac and cheese is SO GOOD. As far as beers, I had their hefeweizen and he has the kolsch, both of which were great. Great, attentive bartender as well!
