Love this place! Have been going here for years. Great atmosphere and good food truck options around. They always have good bands on weekends and good place to watch football too. But recently it seems like they’ve started nickel and diming. My most recent experience had up-charges for ice on the side ($2.5!) and an upgraded rye ($3) for the old fashioned even though I never asked for it. My bigger issue is with the wait staff not informing you up front for any additional charges at time of ordering, and randomly upcharging your drink. Hope they change this. I’ll go back of course - still like the place - but will be wary when I order and double check the bill.

I've been in the area since 2001 and didn't know this fabulous, low-key, old-time-Austin a bit divey vibe place existed! Frozen beer mugs are rarely seen and they serve the best. We came with eight people and found a table immediately. "Trailer Park" in the name is a host of food trucks/trailers. We got burgers, Thai, and fantastic BBQ. You order at the food trucks or online, and they deliver to your table. The food was awesome. This is now a place I will visit often. Great price/value here as well, so do swing by sometime and check it out.

I’ve come here a few times and thoroughly enjoyed myself every time! Tonight I had some of the food from the Japanese food truck. It wasn’t worth five stars, but the fact that they were open after 9 and I could sit and watch the band while they prepared it and then brought it to me raised the star level. 🙃 The staff at both the food truck and the bar were super friendly. The music has always been fantastic each time I’ve come. Love the atmosphere that welcomes families!!

Be careful and pay attention when opening a tab. Went there yesterday and closed tab with the First Gentleman who served us as he was leaving. Went to close second tab and it showed 9 beers ordered. No way did we order 9 beers between my wife and I. Maybe 5 tops. I ordered 2 and then ordered 3 waters. As I asked the bartender I didn’t order 9 beers with her, she stated I had two and wife must have drank hers fast. My wife is a very slow beer drinker so I found that funny. Didn’t want to cause a scene so we paid and left. It’s been awhile since we have been there and it will definitely be last time.

Not only is this the best bar in Austin everything from live music, great atmosphere, but first and foremost the staff will treat you like a long lost friend everyone from Taylor to Adriana to Toby and Ivan first class establishment

I LOVE this bar. The owners and bartenders are so great!! They’re super sweet and serve you with an 11 star attitude every time, and the bar food is to die for! Anything you order will be a symphony in your mouth! It is a delight coming here after a long day and seeing the beautiful shining faces of the staff. The Halloween decorations added a spooky surprise to the evening that really set the mood! Boo!! 👻 However any time of year you visit Rockhouse, you will be enchanted by the incredible environment! If you are in the Lake Travis area, be sure to visit this absolute gem of an establishment!!

I will never go back. Unfortunately, one of the owners can be irrational, unprofessional and treats customers poorly. Sadly, it hurts the business.

Have been visiting a few of the food trucks recently that are on the lot. Several great ones. Love the idea that I can get some good local munchies, and a nice craft beer from the "restaurant." It's been really nice having an establishment like this in the Lake Travis area. IMHO TIP: On a recent visit, my favorite food truck was closed, so I decided to give the restaurant kitchen a try again (after not having any of their food since they first opened years ago). Nope, sorry. Very limited bar food menu, which is fine. Decided to order a burger and fries recommended by fabulously funny and great service provider. But the grub...ooh man! Everything looked okay. Noshed down on the first fry and I tasted everything that had been cooked in that oil for the last two years probably (maybe longer). Ugh! The truffle fries we're enhanced with flavors of old chicken and fried pickles; not in a good way. Lol. They were also super greasy while being interestingly crunchy at the same time. As for the burger, yeah, um, I ate it. Haha. I was very hungry on my visit as I had not had anything to eat all day and it was already 6pm. The burger was not horrible; however, it reminded me of something I still can't quite put my finger on. Perhaps it's invoking a flavor memory from the high school cafeteria? Sorry, guys, but there's actually a burger truck on the lot that sells much larger, fresher, better burgers at the same double digit price point. Overall, yay for the space. Great concept to have a nice variety of trucks to choose from and get some boozy sips to accommodate if desired. Fast and friendly service. One dollar off all drinks during happy hour. Decent beer selection. They also have a very large patio and outdoor area with a stage (that I assume they offer live music on). There is a kidscape as well, if you want to bring the rugrats along. :D

I sing with my band Rubi Groove here occasionally and we love it. Staff is amazing! Ivan, Adam, Taylor, Adriana everyone! Drinks are delicious and food from the kitchen as well as the food trucks nearby are all so good. There's something for even the pickiest eater. Yum!

I absolutely love this place. From the ambiance to the service, amazing! I remember it before the remodel but I love how they have really opened the place up and added more space to enjoy the outdoors! It backs up to a wooded area with a stage for live bands while also showcasing the football games on the tvs. Plenty of seating with numerous food truck options to choose from. I personally love the diverse food accessible. You just place your order at the food trucks and they will deliver it to you at the restaurant. This place is a hidden gem!

Solid gem a little outside of the city. The interior feels very Texan, they have a few arcade games, plenty of TVs and a nice patio in the back with a stage for live music. Next to this spot is a little food truck park that has BBQ, sushi and Thai food. Definitely worth the drive.

This place rules. Great staff, and good music. BUT.... They charge an automatic 20% on a $100+ tab.... And they don't tell you. So when I closed out, I gave an addition 20% and ended up paying 44% tip in the end. The staff probably deserved that much because they were great but you can't sneak that extra tip in there. Cool place, but sneaky bastards. And they weren't chill about it when we questioned the extra tip. Fun times

Fun, casual atmosphere. Love the food trucks! You order yummy food to eat outside or inside cute building with full bar. Pop's crawfish is awesome when they are open during season. We went today and enjoyed watching Branded Outlaws perform and they were amazing!! They are a new band and I look forward to watching their progress. They should have been on Yellowstone!

Horribly rude bartenders and staff. Don't waste your money here. Decent food and drinks, but the service and atmosphere is awful.

Worst bar I've ever been to. Bouncer was incredibly rude, had a red shirt and a beard. I brought a friend from out of town and he proceeded to deny her from the bar! We were ready to call the cops . He was the rudest most unprofessional man I've ever seen. Same for the bartender. - this bar is also the worst bar on 620! Terrible drinks. $10 cover to get into a shitty bar. The bartender also waved at us rudely with an attitude saying "bye". I'd spend my money ANYWHERE else but here. Coming from a women in her 30's! Unbelievable staff. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

The SO and I have little ones and while in town for the holidays finally got to enjoy a night out. We definitely recommend this spot. Close to Steiner, live music, lively crowd and great service. Mixed clientele so no worries about not firing into the main age group!

Awesome place for happy hour. This place is like a hidden gem. Bjt it is getting popular quickly, for good reason. The patio is dog friendly. There is a sand volleyball court. There are food trucks in the parking lot plus a fee items on their own menu. The chips and queso are better than the average. Other things on the menu were not exceptional but not bad at all. You can always get the steak tacos from the Mexican food truck, which are delicious and authentic. There is a full bar, good beer, and great service. What more can you ask for in a spot where to hang out after work?

This is a fun place to hang out and listen to music. The staff is friendly and they make great mixed drinks and surprisingly yummy food. There are also several decent food trucks parked there, too. Big televisions to watch the game and a big outdoor stage and tables. A really nice neighborhood bar.

Hidden gem of 4 points. The four points area is growing at an alarming rate, but sadly, its mostly just your typical fast food and sit down restaurants. There are not many live music spots with well priced drinks and food. Luckily, there is at least one and its just down the street from me. If you like live music, classic rock and food options, I have the spot for you. Rock House a great location right at four points with plenty of parking, 3+ food trailers and a volleyball court. We have come by on multiple Friday nights and were able to get a seat before the music started. It is typically an older crowd with the music starting around 9 but its the type of vibe I imagined Austin had for the last 20 years. You aren't bumping elbows with people and get to hear quality local music with a nice full bar right behind you. This is definitely our go to spot for a weekend night. My only hope/recommendation is they figure out the volleyball league situation. They have such a great set up and keep talking about it but I have yet to see it move forward.

Wish it was better. In-house food was great when it opened, then it changed late 2019, ordered BLT & Turkey sandwichs that both came out, not only late (30 minutes) but tasted like meat from Walmart or school food. Stick with the food trucks on the menu if hungry. Cons: Parking is a serious issue, with capacity issues as it shares parking with people that come to eat at the food trucks directly. Purpendicular parkers can back into your car, parallel parkers in big trucks can ding your bumper, etc. In terms of service, that also changed with the new management. They seem to like heavy drinkers, were not welcoming, actually said, "are you a regular", and drinks are not on par with other bars. In the 3 times, I've been, have seen many close fights, and insults to customers, from one of the owners. Pros: Food trucks provide many options and allow you to sit on the open tables (COVID distancing) under trees. Buy a beer and enjoy the volleyball at Rockhouse. Summary: If the management can focus on quality vs volume, think this place could be much better. They also need to address the parking and safety of cars.

Had no idea about this place! Great music and fun people. Mixed crowd of older and younger people. Service was wonderful. Gelato next door is a plus! We didn't try the food yet but heard it was good. Definitely will be back!

This place has gone downhill. The service was super subpar. I think the waitress wanted to hang out with the bar the entire time. I am not sure if our waitress knew she was at working not there to socialize. And the music was some sort of bump and grind depressing make out vibes. Definitely a super young immature staff. This is not what it used to be. I will be going to a different happy hour going forward. Please get more experienced persons!

Great atmosphere inside as well as outside. Good service. We didn't stay too long due to an Appointment I had. Would have loved to stay past 3pm. That's when all the good trucks are open. They even have a Thai food truck.

This is a swanky little place, great ambience, live music big patio outside -laid-back. Cute little spot to come have a cocktail with friends they also have a couple of food trucks if you get hungry

This business was having a costume party on October 28,2023. First of all, we are charged $10.00 to get in to hear a live band and the singer wasn't present. We were hearing his voice prerecorded. The main complaint I have is when they stated they were having a costume contest on this day and decided not having the contest. This is FALSE advertisement!! I asked the staff what time the costume contest was, he stated not enough people here for the contest. That was a LIE because many people were dressed in their costumes. The employee stated they would have the contest on October 29,2023 in which two bands were scheduled to play. When I went up there in my costume the bands had cancelled because of the weather. Again, I didn't find this out until I went there. The best part is when I forgot my costume and had to drive back home from a friend's house to get my costume to wear for the contest. This is very WRONG from this business stating a costume contest and not providing the contest!!! The business stated there were cash prizes for the contest.

Great local bar scene and several great food trucks and trailers in da 'hood. Did I mention live music and lots of local beer on tap? Very chill atmosphere, in order out, too.

I love love LOVE this spot. As a born and raised Austinite, I crave places that still embody the original feel of Austin, and this place does exactly that for me. The inside has a really cool dive, yet modern feel, but the outside is really my favorite area. Perfect for a little unwinding on a sunny day, and the food trucks right there on the property are a huge hit. The new owners really know how to run a business like this and it definitely shows. I have transitioned from a frequent visitor to a full blown regular, and my husband and I are really loving the fact we have a new "go-to" bar.

Great new spot! Fabulous drinks, with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is perfect. Definitely stop by have a drink and a bite to eat. Get to know the people who work here they are all super nice and helpful.

I absolutely love this place and come here often. But a group of us came in to get some food after a long day at work. Our service was so poor, our server didn't even tell us her name. She hardly came to the table so we were unable to let her know our queso was cold. She was standing at the bar on a phone and made eye contact with us a few times and continued on with what she was doing. We actually ended up closing our tab to go get dinner elsewhere. It sucks because I would love for us to be able to come here after work. But after today I doubt our group will make this a stop, which is very unfortunate.

My Wife and I stumbled upon this gem after leaving another restaurant in the area. We wanted to hear some live music and sit outside and we saw a large amount of parking for Rock house and decided to go in. Right away we noticed this was our scene. Live music, a good mix of young and older.. and a volleyball court. My wife and I ordered a few cold drinks and joined a family visiting from France in a solid game. The music was a cover band so it was nice to sing along. We didn't eat-- but the service was great and prompt. We have gone back twice since June and plan to go again. Keep up the great service and we will continue to be a patron.

This area needed a place that set aside all the "expected" airs. Rock House is as genuine as any place as you'll find in Austin. "Just outside the bubble" speaks volumes.

They double charged my account. Tried to over charge 4 of my friends. Tried to charge one of my friends someone else's tab multiple times just because they were sitting at the same table. The bartenders couldn't get a simple 2 step shot right. These managers think they can just charge whoever whatever and as many times as they want. They're a bunch of thieves and are eventually going to steal from the wrong person. And their drink prices are 40% higher than anyone else in town. The only reason they get one star is because negative stars wasn't an option

Come here now. Why sit in620 traffic? Come relax, enjoy a beverage and some food. It's easy going, super nice staff, and it's pup friendly outside. Enjoy the weather and stress free commute home.

I've been here a few times, but I will likely not return. The staff was completely unprofessional towards me and a group of friends who where there to celebrate a birthday. Terrible service from the bartender, who seemed more interested in leaving than making sure the guests were taken care of. To add gasoline onto the fire, both the bartender, and bar manager were unnecessarily rude to everyone in our group.

Do not use a credit card to open a tab, buy all your drinks with cash because someone will charge hundreds of dollars to your card without your authorization.

Informal, relaxed atmosphere. New bar with yard games that we enjoyed. Ave. Priced. The waiter was average. Parking tight and sparse. We had a group of friends but I didn't feel like I'd go have a drink there if I were alone.

We are so happy to have such a fun place open close to us. Rock House has a vibrant atmosphere and casual vibe. A great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat with friends after work. Their sample appetizer plate is perfect for two or three people. I can't wait until warm weather to enjoy the beautiful patio and volleyball court outside. Great new find!

Hopeful for this place to do well. The location needs it. Good mix of regulars. Inside is great ambiance but the lights are TOO BRIGHT for a bar atmosphere. Please turn them lower!
