"Mexican restaurant and live music venue Rock n’ Taco relocates to Roswell next month after six years on Roswell Road in Buckhead. The Buckhead location is now closed. My second time there and it was very pleasant! Definitely enjoyed my food. I had the chicken tortilla soup because I had a wisdom tooth removed recently…so my choices were limited. However, my daughter enjoyed her buffalo chicken tacos. Give them a try if you’re in the mood for some tacos!

Such fun vibes & rocking atmosphere. We got seated right away inspite of downtown being so crowded on the tree lighting night, we weren’t aware of that. Great service & delicious food. Drinks were made well too

Google
Excellent food! The atmosphere is spectacular... Rock memorabilia, large screen TV's... and our waitress was fantastic!

Fun place to hang in Downtown Roswell. Right at the beginning of Canton St. The live music there tonight (Grey Sunday) was soo good! 👏 quick & friendly service- paid parking on the side.

Last night was not my first visit to Rock n Taco, however i hadn’t been there in a while a year to be precise. I ordered a gin and tonic - I felt she gave me a glass of tonic so we checked with the bar lady and she confirmed that indeed it was a gin and tonic, so i asked for a second shot to be placed in the drink, so i was supposed to be drinking a double shot of gin with tonic, i felt like i was drinking tonic with a splash of gin!!!! Very very very disappointing indeed. Never experienced this before at this location!!! Are they experiencing hardship and watering down the drinks??!!! So my advice to you all when visiting this establishment if you are drinking a spirit eg gin, scotch, vodka, etc order it separate and if you have a chaser like tonic have it on the side don’t let them mix it for you. I will go there again as i enjoyed the atmosphere however I will go there after I have had all my alcohol elsewhere and just go there and dance and drink water 😏

I came here mainly to catch one of the bands that were playing for the night. I arrived around 8, and the place was already pretty full at that time. The server did take care of me pretty quickly with my food and drink order. He stopped pretty frequently to make sure I was good. The Pink Floyd drink was pretty good. The Steve Peri Peri chicken sandwich was great! Highly recommend it! The live music ambiance of it is pretty good too. Fun way to spend the night with some friends.

Google
This is a great venue for local bands, and they book great acts! Love the dance floor and the fact that some people come to dance (like me) and not just to drink. Note that you will have to pay for parking, but it's just $10.00. The only complaint I have is that the food is not very good. Maybe I'm spoiled in this regard (and I cook a lot of my own foods now so my culinary expectations are pretty high), but I've tried a lot of things on the menu and can only recommend two items: chips and salsa, and the taco salad. It's not that there's nothing to eat - just nothing outstanding. For example, I make jalapeno poppers and they are fantastic (sliced hollowed out peppers with a seasoned cream cheese filling and a small piece of bacon on top) - I tried their take and it was just not very good. Oh - and the website needs some work. Every time I go out there I see the calendar for June.

Google
Seemed like a cool place. Plenty of TVs for games. Nice vibe. Food was mostly good, but my kids quesadilla came out with almost none of the cheese melted. Happens, whatever. But the service was god awful. Took almost ten minutes to get wait staff. Got our orders and food came. We could not flag out waiter down to order more drinks or food. Finally did and then tried to get check. We sat with empty plates and 3/4 of us with empty drinks. He stopped at the table next to us four times, and the one adjacent twice. We were waving at him. I literally was waving my credit card over my head for over five minutes. He stopped again at the table next to us ordering rounds. By that time half my family had already left. He then just walked away. The only way to get his attention was to yell “excuse me” loud enough for the entire restaurant to notice. So despite the mostly good food and atmosphere not going to go back. Fun to hear him talking about me to another customer on the patio as we walked away…again not actually noticing my family.

Yelp
So I was hesitant to return here as hubby and I had tried it when we first moved to the area and it wasn't great. To be fair, it wasn't terrible, but it was just kind of blah and not memorable enough to warrant a repeat. We saw that it shut down for a while and heard through the grapevine that there had been some changes in ownership. It took us a good while after it reopened to give it a go and honestly, we only did so because we tried to go to Lola's but they didn't have my favorite dish onhand, which made us step out and try our luck at Rock N Taco. I have to say, I am glad Lola's was not on point that day because our visit to Rock N Taco turned out to be pretty good. We started with the salsa trio and queso. I thought the salsas were okay but my husband was not a fan of any. He thought all of them were too spicy. He is a bit sensitive to spice, though. I ordered two tacos, for which I selected the buffalo chicken and the cluck. Both were good but the buffalo chicken was honestly so fire that I wished I had ordered two of those instead. Hubby ordered the buffalo chicken quesadilla, which was decent for me with the bite I took but again, he found it too spicy. He only ordered it because he wasn't that hungry and knew I wanted to try it, so he just ended up eating the rice and beans that came with my tacos, which he enjoyed. Service was good but we came at a shift change so our original server left and we closed the tab with a new one. Both servers were attentive though. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and will likely be back again soon.

Yelp
Have not been here since they changed their menu and took off a few of my favorites and ruined a few others. I'm here for a work dinner tonight... The three dips and chips they brought out were good! Chips are perfect, salsa was good, and the cheese was good... I don't eat guac but others say it is good. The place was a pretty slow for downtown Roswell, but the weather was cold and it was early. They had one server working our group of 18 people. He did the best he could but he just could not keep drinks straight or the food orders. Nice guy just over whelmed. The food was good! I had the lobster and the shrimp tacos and honestly they were exceptional. I think everyone's selection came out good... I heard no complaints. I was pleasantly surprised. After they did the initial change to the menu a while back I stopped coming... but I think this is a good place to come back to again now. I'll come back again!

Yelp
Back again.... Very good food. Margs are a little pricey as a glass order. Get the pitcher. Wings, tacos, dips and nachos...all were very good. So good wee went back to back nights.

Natalie A.

Yelp
Great spot for game day! Service from the bar was very fast and attentive! Also, loved the nachos!

Coby M.

Yelp
Went to Rock N Taco to watch the Alabama Oklahoma football game and 75% of the bar was there to do the same. The manager would only play the Notre Dame vs Army game. I didn't realize we were in the South to watch a game that no one cares about. We eventually found out that there was one person at the whole bar that wanted the game on and apparently they are more important than the rest of the bar. Food was good, service was average, atmosphere would be good if they catered to their majority customers.

Priscilla B.

Yelp
The vibe is absolutely amazing! I had never been inside this location in downtown roswell and i wish i would have known sooner ! The oaxaca cheese sticks are so delicious im waiting for the opportunity to hop on my husbands bike again and ride down there for some ! The patio gives a great view for passing cars! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to eat and chill in dt roswell

Yelp
No one was available to sit us We wondered in lost Sat at the bar because our party wasn't BIG ENOUGH for a booth. Bartender was not attentive I had to go get a menu from the two ladies chatting in the front. Drink was a soda pop called Chuck Berry Mojito Nah, we had to leave This was not a good day for us here

Lillian G.

Yelp
Ok, maybe I'm late... but this place ROCKS! The atmosphere, the TVs.. and the selection on them.. the staff and the whole vibe... and to make it even better, the food and drinks are pleasantly on par with higher end restaurants. Don't get me wrong, this is bar food tacos, dips, and burgers, but with a extra twist. Come with friend and hang out or come alone and suckbup the friendly atmosphere while enjoying some tacos and tequila.. and everything in between! We have the trio dips, a trio of tacos and a taco salad.. everything came our fresh, hot, and well portioned. We had Lenny make us some "panty dropper' tequila drinks (thats really what he calls the drink) and it was a night! Need a taco Tuesday place to go? Come here.. sit at the bar, and ask for Lenny!

Anthony G.

Yelp
Food, taco Tuesday..... an ok deal, the no mix n match.... That is some B S !!! No à la carte tacos get the set or get nothing. I'm going to have to call B S!!! Service was good, 6 tables in use Ambiance great, a lot of TV'S. good viewing from just about any where you are seated This place could be a lot better, but that is only my opinion, come try it out for yourself

Jenna O.

Yelp
We come here for the live music and wings! This is the ideal sports bar/live music venue for your downtown Roswell visit. There has not been a weekend night we came that wasn't packed, always with a different live band than the last time we went through. We usually opt for a beer with our wings, but their specialty cocktails could be the move if you like super sweet drinks. They always have the tvs on with the game of the night, so in-between band breaks you are never left without entertainment. It is usually quite loud in there, so don't head here if you're trying to talk with someone. I don't really understand the set of for people who are in the standing room or at the tables, but I have never had to wait for a seat. This place is my go to if I am not ready for the night to end or I need some food in me quick. Keep in mind parking in the area can get difficult, but they do have a paid parking lot next door. The lot cost $10 to park in for the night from like 5 to 10 pm, but after 10 pm you'll only be charged $5.

Jen L.

Yelp
I've past this restaurant soooo many times and just had to try it!! They have a fantastic Taco Tuesday special which includes two tacos and rice and beans for $8. What a deal! There's about 5 different tacos to choose from on the special. There's also a great Happy hour where you can purchase your tacos for $3 a piece. I ordered the Tinga Chicken and El Gringo tacos. One taco had shredded chicken which was very flavorful and the other had cubed chicken with onions, peppers and queso. Both tacos were delicious!! The sweet tea tastes like perfection and there's tons of large TVs to watch any sport currently on. They even have music bingo on Tuesday nights! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great time and a great taco!

Yelp
I have never had a good experience here, and I won't be coming back. you should consider anything else than but this in Roswell. it's no surprise that when all other restaurants on Canton Street have a wait, they do not. It took 100 minutes to get our full order this time. The kept coming to tell us the food was coming right out and then we kept waiting. Our fault for coming again one last time. Next time I'm waiting anywhere else, and so should you.

Coleton M.

Yelp
I am rocking the vibe Rock N Taco brings to Roswell because boy is it a chill place! _________________________________________________________ PARKING & LOCATION | [The location is in downtown Roswell and some of the parking is paid around the area. There is free parking in the surrounding area, but they are worth the walk.] _________________________________________________________ EXTERIOR & INTERIOR | [When you arrive at the area and to the entrance of the building, they have outdoor seating and indoor seating. Walking into the entrance, you are welcomed with an open friendly bar setting that brings a great atmosphere.] _________________________________________________________ IS IT CLEAN? | [They stay clean and if there is a mess, they do a quick job.] _________________________________________________________ FOOD & DRINKS | [The food and drinks were amazing. We got 3 dip nachos, regular nachos, and 3 taco mixes. The meat, the cheese, and the sauces are amazing because of how much detail they put into their cooking. Combine the flavors with good music, you have a blast at this place.] _________________________________________________________ SERVICE ‍‍| [The was amazing. The server that we got was supper friendly and very helpful, along with the other staff members. They seem to like working there and enjoy the moments that they have at the restaurant.] _________________________________________________________ OVERALL | [Overall, this place is pretty amazing and its great to hang out at. Grab some food and come out for music night because you will have a blast.]

Yelp
Show me in a group of friends ventured to the spot after volunteering for the Roswell Mimosa Festival. It was close by and we were really hungry. It had lots of outdoor seating as well as an ample amount of seating inside. So that was great. The menu was done with the QR code so it pulled up online. It's a decent menu at first I was not impressed to be honest. I was thinking that they would be exotic tacos but they were pretty basic taco descriptions. We ended up getting some wings and steak quesadillas as appetizers. Wings were good can't complain about them. I got the teriyaki and chipotle flavor. And my friends got the teriyaki and the signature sauce. They enjoyed their wings as well. For my entrée I decided to get the taco salad with beef. My server was awesome and suggested some sauces that I can get to go on top of it and I took a suggestion and got them. Very happy that I did! I love the house vinegar it on the salad as well as a spicy ranch. The two mix very well together and added something to the taco salad. My friends enjoyed the Brooklyn and the steak and shrimp fajitas. Everything tasted really good. A nice chill vibe. Before we were leaving it actually looked like a band was setting up to play so we missed out on that. We also decided to get a picture of the pink Cadillac margaritas. I highly recommend. They are strong! We finish the evening with the pour some sugar on me dessert. Which is a crispy tortilla shell that is tossed in cinnamon sugar with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup and whipped cream. It was enough for three of us to share. I was very good. I would recommend this place for casual dining. I would also come here for their taco Tuesday menu as well as whatever bands they might have playing. I feel like this place would be a good time.

Yelp
Don't..... just don't..... poor service, poor quality food and clueless management. We will not be back

Roz J.

Yelp
Vibrant place to eat with live soft rock music. Service was good The food was ok. I say this cause I've had better tacos elsewhere. Overall it was good

Madeline L.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place!! The music, atmosphere and service is all wonderful. Oh, and of course, the food is worth coming for on its own.

Nicolle M.

Yelp
Average tacos, I was excited about the different types of tacos offered but everything we ordered was very bland. I'm more of a uncle Julio's type of girl where everything is freshly prepared for an example the salsa here tastes like something from the jar. I love a fresh roasted salsa with a kick, this place is a 2/10 for me. We ordered the fried shrimp tacos, asada tacos, fried lobster tacos and for the appetizer we ordered the queso, guacamole, and salsa trio. The queso is very milky, and the guacamole had no flavor, and again the salsa gave off can or jar salsa. I wouldn't come back here. Sorry.

Nicke A.

Yelp
Had takeout ordered here before and it was good food and service, my daughter love coming here, but your hours need to be updated. My daughter drove all the way here and you were already closed @ 9:45 PM on a Thursday.

Bryant B.

Yelp
The atmosphere was amazing which propelled it to 4 stars. Food was okay. Probably the biggest tacos I've seen far as size in metro atlanta. The only taco I would recommend would bet the El Gringo steak. The Buffalo chix was okay ...the topping on it was sensational! I just wish the chicken wasn't as dry. However, the chicken wings was cooked to perfection as an appetizer. I would give them a 6/10. I plan on coming back to check out the live band.

Ray I.

Yelp
Spacious, in fact, down right huge by some "sports bar" standards. I put that in quotations, because despite all the TV's (some positioned horribly though and almost impossible to see), they also are playing music and videos that are very engaging and fun to watch. So I'm sure they would bristle at being called just a sports bar. We sat at the bar and our bartender was very friendly and attentive. They have a few tables just outside of the bar, but they are too low to see the indoor TV's very well. (We went out there and did our own little experiment) We didn't sit out there, but a 4-top that were seated out there came inside because their server had ghosted them. just something to keep in mind if you sit out there. We just had a couple beers and some chips so cant say anything about the food - but we'll update this review when we go back to eat, which we do plan on doing.

Darrell H.

Yelp
Place is packed on Friday nights for the live band.. the drinks are really good, especially the margaritas. The Fajita's were so flavorful and good we ordered two of them. The waiter tried to assist with getting top shelf liquor in the Margaritas but the price didn't make sense so we didn't order. Overall the place was nice.. we d didn't stay too long to enjoy the live band but they played great music while we were there. The food came out in great time. I repeat the drinks are good and strong. Just hated that for top shelf liquor Margarita it would have added an additional 30 dollars to the Margarita picture that was already $43.00 .

Kaitlyn K.

Yelp
If you're looking for a fun Friday night, this place is it. My husband and I stopped by for some dinner on a Friday evening. There was about to be live music and it was very lively! My husband and I got tacos and a burrito. I loved the lobster taco! The decor throughout the place is rock and roll themed and is a 10/10. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for the band but we will definitely be back when we can fully enjoy the entertainment!

Yelp
UPDATED REVIEW IN RESPONSE TO MANAGER: Michael, I want to get something straight. No I didn't want to leave a negative review because the place had many positive reviews, BUT, I reviewed MY experience so people who spend their money and time will see the good and bad. It's not a knock on the business, but it's MY experience with how I was treated. Reviews aren't only meant to help a business, but to see where there is lack. The resolution I'm looking for isn't a quick fix of comping a meal, BUT to get a positive authentic experience from the time I walk in until the time I leave. The bad taste of subpar service would not have been fixed by a free meal. I accepted the sincere apology from the manager on duty and it was appreciated, but MY first experience at your restaurant wasn't a positive one, and there shouldn't be an issue of me posting MY negative experience on any platform that I do honest reviews on. There should be MORE emphasis on why 5-6 servers looked at me for 12 minutes like I wasn't there, rather than me posting a negative review. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Didn't want to leave a negative review, but it's only fair. Visited here on a Saturday afternoon. Walked through the door and was seated immediately. The place was no where near packed. From the time seated it took 12 minutes for a server to come to the table. Another couple walked in about 5 minutes after and was IMMEDIATELY served. The manager on duty was super cool, and offered to cover the meal, but I told him I want to come back for an authentic experience ..I've read great reviews and will golive it another shot..

Da B.

Yelp
Food is crap. So disappointing to see a successful party place have crappy food. And the service here has been subpar on three occasions, so I am spot on with my 1 star rating. Sad.

Neil C.

Yelp
Hope was my bartender and SHE WAS AMAZING. I would give her 10 stars at of 5. Also, Josephine was quick to ask me how my day was and put a smile on my face. DEFINITELY Will be back to visit.

Liz B.

Yelp
We just had a wonderful evening here! Group of five and after a reasonable wait for a Saturday evening we were seated In the dining area on the far right which was perfect because we wanted to enjoy the EXCELLENT band and talk as well. Food was great, and the service was truly outstanding. Our waitress was assigned the ENTIRE room to herself and ran ragged the entire time to provide the best, friendliest, most perfect service. Give that girl a raise.

Michael A.

Yelp
I would say the food is very okay. Service is great and atmosphere is fantastic and welcoming, which bumps the review to 3 stars. Chips had sort of an odd taste to me, and the queso being too watery. Fajitas were decent, nothing special really, steak lacked seasoning, and they do not come with any sides, rice, lettuce, sour cream or anything at all, which is not typical for fajitas I've ever had before. Might give another chance, but with low expectations for the food.

Courtney T.

Yelp
I'd like to start by saying our waiter, Rome, was wonderful and attentive. The food, however, was a disappointment. We started with the chips and queso and the queso was extremely watery. Then we split a chicken fajita meal which was also not great. The chicken was seasoned well but the fajita veggies were literally raw. I feel like it's pretty hard to mess up fajitas but Rock N Taco somehow did. The Mexican rice was also very bland. We wouldn't be back based on the food. Update: the owner did reach about our experience which was very much appreciated. We will be sure to give them another chance because of the exceptional customer service after our disappointing experience.

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Such a cool spot! We came in for an early Mother's Day lunch with our two kids, yes this place is kid friendly. The kid menu has great options outside of the typical burger and fries. Service was super friendly and attentive, right next to Gate City Brewing, heart of downtown Roswell, fantastic food, really cool decor and atmosphere, 80's music and music videos playing, stage for live music, huge doors and windows that open to outside, massive bar.. food was great, I got the lobster and chicken tinga taco with black beans and rice. It tasted great, good portions, and only $13. My husband got the taco salad and chips with guac/salsa/queso. It was all fresh and brought out quickly. I loved their salad, it actually tasted like fresh tomatoes like a blended pico. Guac came topped with fresh tomatoes. This place has to get packed at night. We can't wait to come back!

Dana D.

Yelp
I saw a great band back in May or June and saw that they were at Rockin Taco again last Saturday. When I saw them before it was really great and so enjoyable. The sound was way off this time. All you could hear were the drums. I still enjoyed the music, but idk what happened. I had food this time and it is not good. Seemed like fake cheese...Velveeta or something. It's hard to mess up nachos, but they figured out how. Service was ok, nothing wrong. The big Ipads are a little weird but that's not the waiter's fault. Must be a spot for locals who don't want to drive too far. Otherwise, can't see how they would stay in business.

Brenda D.

Yelp
Best place in North ATLANTA for live music! High energy on Friday and Saturday nights. Great crowd. Friendly staff. Located on Canton Street in downtown Roswell. Great place for bachelorette parties.

Nic P.

Yelp
I went to rocking taco my 1st time on Sunday I got referral to go to try this place and watch football Neil highly recommend it he a regular so he promise me the service going be great I highly recommend it to anyone I give a shout out to Neil for recommending rocking taco Will be back soon...

K P.

Yelp
This is a really fun place we frequent for the music! We love all the bands! We went last night only to discover a totally new menu. Very disappointed. Our young server claimed they were trying to be more authentic Mexican. Whoever came up with this menu has never been to Mexico. Real Mexican food does not contain quesadillas, nachos, chicken fingers, deep fried tacos etc. But we gave it a try. The chicken nachos were not bad, the deep fried tacos (the only way you can get them now) - no thanks. Way too greasy and couldn't even detect what kind they were. Next time we go, we will eat elsewhere and just come to dance! New menu? Not good and more than half of what they offered before is gone.

Brandeis C.

Yelp
Visited this gem last night. It wasn't crowded when we arrived at about 945pm. The service was great and the Rock theme was evident throughout the restaurants space. The food was good, I had three different tacos: fish and 2 shrimp. Nice job ladies and gents!

Nathalia A.

Yelp
It was my first time there with my husband. Place is nice, service is good and staff very polite. Everything we ordered came very fast. We had their queso dip as an appetizer, which was very liquid and it seemed to have been mixed with something else to make more of it. It had some white spots on it that made it look like it's gone bad (see pic). It was not like the usual thick creamy-cheesy queso dip. Taste wasn't bad but it was just very liquid and weird looking. I ordered the Winner Winner plate and it was good. My husband got the steak fajitas and he said it wasn't bad but lacked a bit of flavor. Overall it's a nice, fun place to go. The food doesn't exceed expectations but it also isn't bad. I would recommend it for someone that wants to go drink and watch games but not for the food.

Valerie B.

Yelp
Went on a chill slow Friday afternoon. First time. Delicious food, great service, and the ambiance was really cool w all the rock memorabilia. I liked the cheeky signs inside the restrooms. And did I mention the delicious food???

Kevin G.

Yelp
Well, another new edition to Canton Street. Formerly Pastis (and used to be a great brunch spot for Mimosas), this spot now provides more entertainment to Canton Street patrons. This is my second trip here, but first dining in. A Southwest meets Taco Mac meets Chili's type of vibe, it's not unusual to find live music here most weekends. My first visit here was a few months back to enjoy their live music, which was playing 90s alternative. With indoor and outdoor seating, plus an open feel, the music can be heard easily out on the street. This second visit was on their patio with my girlfriend and her friends. They do have a bar area, that's really long, and also booths/tables inside with large screens. There is also a stage area for bands. For the atmosphere, I give them a 5/5. As for the meal, it really is Southwest. We started with the guacamole and chips. Both ok to me. While it's heavily taco focused, I did something odd and ordered their Brooklyn Burrito. While I enjoyed it and loved that it didn't fall apart, it was certainly pricey for something so small. Now, if they were playing live music, then I'd be ok paying this price but $11.75 is a bit too much to not come with a side and smaller than a Moe's burrito. Also, the skinny margarita we ordered was not the best. It was way too sour. Could've been my tables fault for how they ordered it but not getting it again. Also, our server started off really great and was doing awesome but then disappeared for 20 minutes. Big star bump there. I wanted to give them a 3, but my previous experience was great with the live music. I might need to try their tacos next time to better fulfill my experience. 3.5 rounded up to a 4. Will be back.

Yelp
Greatest bartenders of all time. You have to see the place to enjoy the atmosphere. Great drinks, great bands

Mike M.

Yelp
Best bar ever. Ask for Abby and Kendall. Tell them Mike sent ya. They saved my life with their sage advice and cool demeanor. They also recommended the French fries which were exquisite. 11/10. Will return.

Miranda C.

Yelp
This is the place to be for happy hour! There are no drink specials but 3$ full size tacos. They also have a veggie taco (not on happy hour menu) but it's very good!

Maribeth L.

Yelp
Great service and really delicious taco's. Did the mix option so got a fried shrimp and the mahi-mahi tacos. Both excellent! The fried ice cream wrapped in pound cake is good but it's a must share! Way to rich!

This place designated themselves as a Steelers bar and they switched the game with 2 minutets left. I know they were about to lose but as a dedicated Steelers fan, I watch to the end., and I'm angry they did this.

Yelp
I took my daughter's out for a birthday lunch at Rock N Taco on Canton Street in Historic Roswell. This was my first visit to the restaurant. Unlike other sports bars that only show sporting events, I noticed that this restaurant shows a wide variety of programing on their TVs. Yes, there were some sports shows, but they also had music videos and popular drama shows playing. We visited during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the restaurant appeared to be taking steps to protect their customers. Every team member that I saw was wearing a mask. They spread out customers so that nobody was sitting right next to each other. The food was good. I tried two of their tacos - Carolina and Brisket. The tacos tasted fresh and flavorful. We stared with queso and chips. The queso was smooth and creamy. Our server was friendly and attentive. She immediately took our drink order and came back multiple times to see if we were ready to order our food. We waited around 14 minutes for our food. Overall, we had a pretty good experience, and I would consider returning and recommending the restaurant in the future.

Yelp
Okay, I walk place this place every month as I go to get my hair taken care of a couple of doors down, and I always think I'm going to stop in, but with the pandemic and everything else, I just haven't stopped. Fast forward to Wine Down Wednesday the other week when my normal (outdoor) Wednesday haunt had their music cancel at the last minute. I came here (where they also had live music), they had all the big garage door style windows open, and there were only a few people there, so I felt safe enough to stay and eat indoors, even though that goes against most of what I feel should be done as numbers are on the rise again. Long story short, their happy hour continued until 6pm (I was there at 5:50), and the waiter, Branson, was happy to help us figure out what was great on the menu and help us weed out what we wanted. I was going to order off the happy hour menu because the prices were great, and I did end up getting the three amigos of chips and dips, but for dinner I went with the bbq pork quesadilla. They have a gouda and white American cheese mix in the quesadilla that TASTES LIKE LIFE ITSELF. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with something like the cheese mix in a quesadilla, but here we are. I wasn't even drinking with the Wednesday wine special, but it really was just that good. The musician was pretty good, although they have muted music videos playing on the big screen, so it was pretty distracting when the music and the screen didn't match up, but it was still a great night to be had. The staff was all wearing masks, and everyone was really good about being spaced and recognizing safety standards. I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu, for sure!

Yelp
Dined here for lunch recently. For such a large space, it was quite slow for the lunch crowd, but I can only assume things start rocking harder in the evenings. Otherwise, their overhead could be catching up to them. And given the passive aggressive retorts from the manager on Yelp reviews, it seems like that may happen sooner than later. Having lived in Texas for several years, I've noshed on my fair share of out of this world tacos, great tacos, even just okay tacos. Rock N Taco's tacos were beyond forgettable. The menu is laid out to select most tacos a la carte and while the selection is vast, they're all safe choices, the tortillas are too large, and the ingredients themselves are all bland and boring. It's as though they position themselves to boast street taco styles, but overstuff cheap ingredients into a burrito sized tortilla. For example: The Buffalo chix taco: stuffed with a chicken tender you'd find in a child's plate order from a concession stand at a youth baseball game. Completely tasteless, processed and forgettable. The margarita I ordered was served in a highball style glass - like you'd get if you ordered a gin and tonic. Not sure if there's a reasoning behind that other than to be different, but the glass is all I remember about the marg. It was sour and clearly wasn't freshly made. I guess what I'm trying to say is, while the decor is great and I believe they host music and concerts - even during the early onset of the pandemic - the draw here certainly isn't the menu.

Yelp
Previous Buckhead staple, Rock N Taco is back and it's bigger, better, and more immersive in its new downtown Roswell location. If you're looking for a place that you can eat a taco while watching a Stone Temple Pilots video, we've found your spot. It truly is a rock n roll haven with tons of early to late 90's rock, rock inspired cocktails like The Jimi Hendrix Experience and The Offspring, as well as fresh tacos, fajitas, and everything in between. Let's take a Journey into Rock N Taco, adventure ahead! From the moment you enter, rock is strong with this one! Starting with the signature cocktails, they have two that we tried: The Offspring and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. First, The Offspring was a bourbon cocktail that was mellow and smooth, creamy with the whisked egg white, and topped with bitters to give it a slight bite, give it to me, baby. Followed by a real treat, The Jimi Hendrix Experience is Yuzu vodka, Crème de Cassis, and orange liquor, filled with marinated berries topped with sparkling wine, which gives makes it slightly sweeter. Drop in some dry ice. It billows and bubbles giving it a psychedelic effect. It's really a fun, foxy drink to watch being made and to drink. Foxey, lady! Fajitas, tacos, triple dip trios, and even inspired desserts, Rock N Taco has some good eats in a rock n roll atmosphere. We'll start with the by taco bout some tacos. Of these solo performances hands down the best taco was The Classic. It's perfect: simple, crunchy, beefy, cheesy, and all-around delicious. Tip: Add guacamole! Carne Asada was also simply good with tender steak, onion, cilantro, and lime. Savory, classic, and rich. The Hulk had fried avocado that was perfectly fried, good amount of avocado and crunch from the breading. Perfectly paired with a ranch sauce that adds to the creaminess of the bite. Headliners like Metallica would be proud of this: topped with a decent amount of cheese, the tender steak combined with crisp peppers and savory onion, it was a great bite when all mixed together. Our recommendation would be to stuff everything into a tortilla with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and top with guacamole and the original salsa. It's a stellar creamy, savory, concoction! They call them Encores, but we call them Show Stoppers. The Fried Ice Cream was like eating cake and ice cream, the breading was so fluffy and thick then fried and topped with raspberry and chocolate sauce. The Churro was cinnamon goodness that they fried and sandwiched creamy vanilla ice cream. It's hard to decide which was our favorite, but that thick fried breading of the fried ice cream is probably it. Can't decide? Order both! Not being too far from our hood, we may adopt them as our new taco spot for live music, 90's rock, and of course, some more of those fajitas and fried ice cream.

Yelp
Happy to review this place! Visited for the first time during Roswell's alive at 5. We stopped in for a quick dinner, and I'm glad we did. It was packed, but our group was seated quickly. We were seated in full view of the live music which was also great. It's a spacious place with tons of seating and a full bar. Once seated, we had a lovely server. She was vibrant and efficient with great recommendations. We ordered the trio salsa dip which was a taste app. I got the skinny margarita and 3 tacos. Each was better than the last. I'm excited to go back at less busy time and try even more of the menu. Definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area!

Yelp
Living in Roswell, we have been meaning to come by and try this place for a while now. We ordered a burger (meh, overcooked) and a Huevos Rancheros (the tortilla underneath was not very crispy, and the portion was pretty small). So...the food is not what you come here for, and I've seen this echoed in numerous other reviews. I might be willing to try some other stuff, but there is a LOT of good food very close by. That said, the ambience and the location is great. We had some decent drinks, and watched some football on a Sunday (some of the TVs *are* placed oddly, as others have noted) but we sat at the outdoor side of the bar and could see through to the main bank of TVs inside. I would go for drinks and maybe sports viewing, for sure. The staff was pleasant, too.
