Rockefeller is our go to spot for anything from a working lunch meeting to watching live music in their backyard area.. there is another great people watching patio in the front which can fill up fast during peak times. The menu is perfect for the beach as they have some lighter options and some guilty pleasures and everything in between. They have one of the best fish and chips, great tacos, burgers and they make a great steak sandwich. The mac and cheese, fried chicken sandwich are both great. They have happy hour and a very popular rotating burger of the month special. The service here is always on point.. the staff is very friendly and efficient.. you are never left waiting for help... the entire staff will jump in and help even if you aren't their table. Overall, food, service, location, great vibes.. you really can't go wrong here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Casual fun atmosphere with solid food and good people.

Red wine sangria was great, Wonton nachos very good, my wife enjoyed the zucchini fries - we were lucky and had the $2 burger happy hour on Tuesday's - excellent burger. And get the cookie with ice cream. You will thank me. Mary who took care of us was just fantastic

Google
Where business meets brisket… and cocktails. Had an amazing time at Rockefeller with an incredible new crew of networking friends—and let me just say, this spot is built for social media girlboss energy. From the effortlessly cool vibe to the flawless service, it was the perfect backdrop for business chats that flowed as smoothly as the cocktails. Speaking of cocktails… yes, please. And don’t even get me started on the brisket tacos—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-convo and moan just a little. Rockefeller is a regular local favorite for a reason. Whether you’re in work mode, flirt mode, or foodie mode—this place delivers every time. I’ll absolutely be back.

Google
I can’t imagine this place in a busy night. There were literally 10 tables with patrons and 15 without. The service was awful. We ordered and out appetizer came out immediately (like 5 minutes). Our dinner took close to 30 minutes, and I had to get up to ask the server for my cocktail. She stated, “oh, he’s making it now.” Again, the place was not even busy, to take 35 minutes to make a drink. We had our meal, before I got my cocktail. We asked for salt, pepper for my warm salad, and condiments for my husband’s burger. We asked the person who delivered our plates. She enthusiastically said sure, then never came back. I had to get up to ask our server and she did get the items. She never stopped once to see how we are doing, how we’re enjoying our meal or even if we need anything. Horrible service. The atmosphere is great. I loved the decor. But we will never be back.

Google
Food was weird and blah. Ordered chicken and waffles. It was more like seasoned chicken breasts on a thin ego. No crispy skin, no thick crispy waffle. Felt like a 6th graders attempt at cool food. Ordered guacamole, and it was blah. No flavor. Maybe add some salt and lime? Our server was nice, but service is not good. We ordered appetizers, yet everything came out at the same time. The runner was shaking holding our plates. Nobody at our table was impressed by the food. There are definitely better options in the neighborhood.

Google
The area in general is pay for parking. This restaurant seems to be busy all the time. We made reservations and was able to be seated right away. The service is very slow. The mac and cheese was delicious. The mimosa was not good. Chicken and waffles was mediocre. Steak salad was good and pork belly benedict was also good.

Google
This restaurant offers a $2 high quality burger with purchase of a $6+ drink per burger on Tuesday. Not bad but it gets super busy, unless you have a reservation, seating may not be ideal.

Google
Serviceperson was very nice. The coffee was extremely weak but the food was good. No thrills to be honest but the location is great.

Yelp
The Rockefeller did not disappoint. The cheese omelet with sourdough toast was great and the bottomless mimosas were on point. But what really sets this place apart from the rest was the courteous and attentive staff. I would also like to give a big shout out to my server Christine P whose A+ customer service and beautiful smile made my Satuday bunch that much enjoyable!

Yelp
Great service, so no complaints there at all. Super nice staff. Overall, I was disappointed with the burger. I'd heard rave reviews on how great Rockefeller burgers were and I say,"meh." I had the Rockefeller burger. $18. It was cooked a perfect medium rare. It looked fantastic. The top of the tomato was not cut off so it slid farther and farther to the back of the bun with every bite until there was no more burger left. It's a big burger and it is filling. They did a nice job warming and branding the bun with their logo. The burger was soft and tender, almost melt in your mouth, but had no umami flavor. Big disappointment. Over fifty bucks plus tip for two burgers, one glass of wine and a glass of iced tea. I'd say, not worth it. The burgers do not include any sides. Also, it was pretty loud. Not easy to carry on a conversation. Again, super nice staff, great service, but I won't be back. It was packed, so I'm glad they are doing well and I wish them much continued success.

Yelp
out of all the rockefeller locations, RB, IMO is the most laid back of them all. wanted to come here to check out their HH and their $2 burgers on tuesdays it is a legit deal, the only catch is you have to purchase a minimum of $6 bev (easy peasy) i asked for a concoction of something fruity, our waitress came back with a really yummy drink. it had strawberry and pineapple. YUM! we then ordered: 2x $2 burgers Truffle Mac & Cheese Rockefeller Mess Zucchini Fries Mexican Street Tacos all were very tasty! will def be back to try the allagash queso dip, the meatballs and the roasted veggie flatbread! made rez via opentable. opted to sit in their patio very dog friendly! spacious patio we got there around 430pm, it started to pick up around 0530pm. service was great! our waitress came around often to make sure all her tables were doing okay parking: metered spaces/lots; you can park blocks up from the beach in the residential area, but that is about a 5-10m walk. read all signs!

Yelp
Cute restaurant near the beach with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was good other than it taking a few minutes for the drinks each time we ordered a refill. Made reservations for bottomless mimosas on a Saturday. The bottomless mimosas were less than $25/person and they had your traditional oj, but also guava, mango, and peach juices. The guava one was the best. You have to order an entree if you do the bottomless mimosas, so we shared the chicken and waffle and veggie egg scramble which came with breakfast potatoes. The chicken was kinda chicken tender-y but the hot sauce that it came with was very nice. The veggie egg scramble was okay, too. It's a nice spot for the vibes and bottomless mimosas, but the food was good, not amazing.

Yelp
Been coming here for years for their breakfast burrito (they have my heart bc they always have tapatio on deck). Love the outdoor seating, but the indoor is also vibey. Weekday happy hour has awesome deals, especially the burgers on Tuesdays. And bottomless mimosas for weekend brunch with various flavors (guava's my fave), need I say more? Coffee is always great because they have a little coffee bar inside too! A great spot in the Redondo Riveria

Yelp
Love this place !! The happy hour is always great and food is excellent! I love the patio seating too.

Yelp
Food was excellently prepared! Talk about eat with your eyes! Waiter could've paid attention to refills but it's okay. We would come back. Look at the pictures! Yummy!

Yelp
Great food, great drinks, great service! Delaney was our server! 10/10!! She was lovely. Dirty chai-tini- delicious. Pork Belly Polenta Eggs Benedict?!? HELL YEAH! So so so so good!! Will be back to eat that again and try more menu items.

Yelp
Went here for a late breakfast, they had a brunch menu out. Tried a few things :Sancho Breakfast Burrito wet style, Chicken and avacado breakfast burrito wet style , prime burger with bacon, steak and eggs and kids eggs any style. Also tried some bloody Mary's. Everything was really good and everyone basically cleared their plates, no complaints. Typical pricing for a restaurant on the esplanade.

Yelp
Bottomless Mimosas!!...Say less!!! Instagram sent me here because of the bottomless mimosas and the chicken and waffles. But honestly, I wasn't a fan! The chicken was chewy, like I was chewing on rubber and it was a little bland. However, my husband enjoyed the Sancho breakfast burrito. As far as the mimosas, they are premade but don't fret, the mimosas are solid. Our waitress periodically checked on us with a pitcher of guava, mango, peach, or orange mimosa ready to pour into our glasses. Although I didn't like the chicken and waffles, I was eyeing the French toast so I'll probably be back lol. We ended brunch with the hot chocolate chip chocolate with ice cream. I like when the cookie is cooked all the way through. But the cookie was gooey with crispy edges.

Yelp
Christian is the man!! Ask for Christian, he took wonderful care of us out-of-towners. Great recommendations, conversation, and happy hour menu is great! Christian made our experience and the food is good too!

Yelp
The food here is decent but very hit and miss and so is the service. I give them maybe 3 1/2-4 stars. Service was ok but she made up for it when she fixed my burnt steak on my expensive salad of $23! (She gave me a new piece of steaks - med. it's was pretty well done and some pieces burnt). Will have to say the salad was very tasty, wish it was a bit bigger thou, a bit smaller size portion. The burgers look great (can't eat them since they don't offer gluten free buns..they would probably charge an extra $4 for the gluten free bun! ). Where do you go to get a burger and you only a burger without fries or choice of salad??? When does a burger cost $15+ just for a burger??? If you want fries that's an extra $8. Man inflation has gone up! I don't know if coming back from Asia I find the prices super high here in the U.S. and portions have gone smaller! Ambience is a bit on the rustic side... overall not bad but just for 2 people with a burger, a salad, and 2 club sodas we walked out with a check of around $50-$60 with tip. Kind of pricy...

Yelp
We took my mother in law there for dinner. The outside seating is so lovely. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. It's a great spot, highly recommend.

Yelp
The Rockefeller is a great and cozily decorated place with a variety of food from burgers, sandwiches, fish dishes, and salads. Their main entrees go from $15-$24. My mentee got a steak sandwich and truffle fries. I got a honey glazed salmon. My dish comes with a small patch of rice and some broccolini. The salmon and the rice were good but the broccolini was average. The whole bill came out to $70.52 (includes tax and tip). The waitresses were amiable and the food was above average. However, parking sucked. We even tried to avoid the lunch rush but this Riviera Village is a poppin place so there's always plenty of people there; parking is primarily done by meters.
google avatar

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Been doing a happy hour tour of the area lately while going for walks with my daughter and love the Rockefeller's! M-F 3-6pm, mostly appetizer items and a selection of beer and wines. I got the Rockefeller mess and the manhattan meatballs. Both were tasty and I highly suggest! A glass of wine and a few happy hour items and I stayed under $40 even with tip! A must for happy hour!

Yelp
great service, great ambiance, good food today was a busy day so the wait was a little long. our server was super friendly which made the experience enjoyable! the food today was a little on the saltier side... usually rockefeller is a consistent place so i think today was just an off day... other than that, still love rockefeller. leaving with a full stomach once again!! i had the: - grilled fish tacos: they were a little dry! i'm more of a street taco gal so it wasn't for me. - burger of the month it was a sriracha burger and it was pretty good. i'd prefer the american prime burger or the rockefeller burger. - matcha latte art was pretty, the matcha was unsweetened so again, not for me. - truffle mac & cheese always great!

Yelp
Went here for the first time and I'm bummed i waited so long! It was so great. First off, food was really good. Loved the ahi nachos and fish n chips and everyone else cleared their plates so I'm assuming they concur. Ambience was chill, so bay perfection. No explanation needed. If you know, you know. They accommodated our group of 10 (mix of teens and adults/parents) happily and seamlessly... which brings me to my main point, THE SERVICE! Ashley is awesome. As a server i can appreciate amazing service, and this was it. She knew one family in our party down to their orders and was so genuine to us all. Friendly, cool, effortlessly organized and communicative. Not one misstep. Kinda great! Thanks Ashley and Rockefeller. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Stopped in here by accident on a rainy day, and was very happily surprised with the delicious avocado toast! They actually took the time to find a quality bread, slice beautiful avocados and top the sandwich with sprouts, micro greens, and radish slices. And drizzle the whole thing with a delicate cilantro lime dressing. Delicious. They feature a full bar, espresso and staff are all prompt and attentive. Indoor or outdoor seating, as well as a couple of window seats available.

Yelp
I had a lovely experience here this week. I arrived slightly before the main dinner times and had this pretty patio, with a light sea breeze, all to myself. The steak frites and old fashioned I ordered were perfect and the whole picture was one of my best dining experiences in a while. The chimichurri they serve with the steak was top notch - not a foot wrong on the balance.
google avatar

Sam K.

Yelp
Awesome vibe. Great service. Amazing food. I'll definitely be coming back to try the various tacos, burger of the month and egg rolls.
google avatar

Chevon J.

Yelp
Service was a little slow. Went around 10:45a on a Sunday didn't get out food until 11:45a. Ordered the French toast with a veggie omelette. Came out hot and fresh...very cheesy. If you're going on a hot day like I did my advice will be to sit inside. Even with the shaded umbrellas it's still very hot. All in all I would go and eat again I would suggest some live music to the owner or just some kind of music.
google avatar

Luis M.

Yelp
I've been to this location twice, once for bottomless brunch & again with family for my birthday! The service is great! Staff makes sure you're taken care of. It has such a chill ambiance & even better burgers!!

Lei M.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday here and had a great experience! We were seated on the outdoor patio which had a really nice vibe and picture perfect! Our server Soraiya was simply the best... She's very attentive and took care with everything we need. The foods that we ordered are all very good and came quick to our table. Their service was top-notch and definitely will come back
google avatar

Graham M.

Yelp
It's a fun gastropub nestled in a busy strip in Riviera Village. Don't let the name scare you off, this isn't a pricey place as far as LA restaurants go, and the menu is New American and casual with many bar-geared and appetizer options. The servers were pretty friendly and there seemed to be a good mix of seasoned professionals and new blood that gave us the feeling the place was alive. They also have televisions in some sections. I'd recommend booking ahead to lock that seat. We got some front patio seats for an Angels game and it was a great vibe.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
The vibes outside on the patio with the fireplace are immaculate! Plus the happy hour and Tuesday burger deals are great. Come here if you want to relax outside and drink some fancy cocktails. We came here for happy hour during the summer and were seated right away. I ordered the fish tacos and my partner ordered the flatbread. The fish tacos were yummy and my favorite was honestly the side of beans which were AMAZING. We sipped on drinks which we both agreed were excellent and enjoyed watching people walk through the riviera. I have also been for their $2 burger Tuesdays which are a great deal! You just need to purchase a drink to get the burger special and there are no modifications. A great casual joint to enjoy happy hour!

Janet F.

Yelp
The Food , service was great indoor and outdoors seating . Outside seating had a beautiful atmosphere and fireplace heating also Heat lamps . The menu had Lots to choose from I would recommend this establishment to anyone
google avatar

Laleh F.

Yelp
The food was delicious, food was fresh, the service is kind and welcoming, with small check-in's on how your doing. The ambiance was absolutely amazing, comfortable, and clean. Definitely recommended. The shortage of stars is because my mothers steak was ordered medium and came over medium well. Thank you!
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
Great Burger (a quest item) & good zucchini fries! Reasonable prices, friendly staff & comfortable space - good happy hour. I'm older, it's been some time searching for a good burger & finally one that Makes the grade (Iron City Tavern on the board too)
google avatar

Kisha L.

Yelp
I went to try the breakfast and it was alright. Nothing special. I got the American breakfast with bacon toast and eggs. They service was good the waiter was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was nice with a cool vibe. It's small inside so it's very limited seating. Menu is very limited too with not alot of health options to choose from they did not have sugar free syrup or regular jelly. Parking is on the street. Restaurant near the beach so you get nice cool breeze. Small outdoor seating.

Yelp
Stopped by yesterday to enjoy a meal outdoors since we had such amazing weather. There was a 15 min wait for a table but i dont think we even waited 10 before they texted us. It took a while for our waitress to check in so we already had our drink and food order ready. We split the Cesar salad which was amazing. I actually wish i had ordered it as a meal with a protein. Bf got the pork belly benedict which was also equally amazing. The pork belly was cooked perfectly and he cleaned the plate. I ordered the sancho burrito but as a bowl. Again, the flavors were amazing and we were satisfied. The drinks we had were amazing. Tasty, refreshing and not watered down at all. Will definitely be back for a happy hour. My only complaint is with the service we received. Like I mentioned earlier, it took a while for our waitress to check on us when we first sat down. We saw her again when our food was ready. Then when she cleared the salad plate and we ordered another drink. We were done with our food by the time the second drink came. Which we then asked for a dessert to go and the check. We immediately put a card but it took about another ten minutes before we saw her again to pick up the check and then we waited awhile before receiving it back. Would have appreciated a little more attention to make sure we were good.
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
Every time I go here- I have received really bad service. Just want to say - only come here if you are not in a rush. The food is fine, not the best but not bad. The ambiance is great! Great indoor and outdoor tables with beautiful plant life and a nice fire pit.
google avatar

Kryslynn W.

Yelp
We went for our 19th anniversary breakfast for the first time. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. We went because I saw on reviews that they had great French Toast. Unfortunately there is cinnamon in the batter and I'm allergic to cinnamon but the waitress, Jennifer suggested pancakes, with all of the delicious toppings that the French Toast has. It was wonderful! For sure we will revisit again and I really hope we see Jennifer again!
google avatar

Keith B.

Yelp
First off the Riviera is an absolute amazing place to have dinner and drinks! Going to start off with the highs to the lows or medium's Service was freaking amazing a special that's to Dylan he made my wife and I feel welcomed with some great drinks and great recommendations thanks Dylan. We had a couple plates off the happy hour and truly enjoyed them. We ended up having dinner on the patio and it was an amazing night out thanks again.
google avatar

Maria T.

Yelp
Honor reservations. Don't make people wait 30 minutes past their reservation time due to your poor planning and keep saying "unfortunately..." when there are a million four-tops open. Ridiculous, won't be back.

Grace K.

Yelp
The service was pretty terrible. It wasn't really busy and i was a waitress for 10 years. Our server came by twice. the zucchini was soggy. The ahi tacos were AWFUL zero flavor, mainly tasted the tortilla. We also ordered the tomato soup. we had to ask again for it and they never brought it until our meal came out. Did not taste well. we didn't finish the tacos i tried to eat one and my gf took a bite so i could see if she liked them. Hard no
google avatar

Mehreen K.

Yelp
We were searching for a breakfast spot that was also dog friendly. Came upon this restaurant and was seated quickly. Our waitress was fabulous. She brought pups some water and quickly took our order. We loved how warm and welcoming she was. We ordered the Sancho breakfast burrito and the pork belly Benedict with a side of bacon. Everything was delicious. There was plenty of meat and flavor. Our coffee cups were always filled. This looks like a great spot for happy hour as well. We will be back!
google avatar

Rom D.

Yelp
Think the Food is at least a 4 star. I had the Prime Burger and it was on point. Juicy and tasty. The service isn't the fastest. The male server was a bit sarcastic when we asked a question. Servers didn't offer refills on drinks or asked if we needed anything so this is definitely 3 stars. The saving grace is its a short walk to the beach. Parking sucks since its mostly metered parking on the streets. Better to Uber here. lol
google avatar

Marian G.

Yelp
We came for happy and to watch March Madness. This is busy beach area restaurant. Our server Ashleigh B was great. She suggested the drinks which were a St. Patrick's Day special the toasted grasshopper martini. Our food was served fast and hot off the grill. I was expecting a little more flavor to the broccoli. My rice and honey glaze salmon was delicious. There are three areas to this restaurant, the bar, patio and dining area. The TV is located on the wall for easy viewing. I made reservations and was seated promptly.
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
After coming here for several years we certainly missed out on this wonderful spot! Today we came for happy hour and got some great Chardonnay, Plus $2 burgers that you would not believe!! And now of course we can't wait to return to Redondo and visit this great venue!! Don't miss out get on down here!!
google avatar

Mia I.

Yelp
We ordered mimosas, the waffle, and a sancho breakfast burrito. One of the best breakfast burritos in South Bay! Everything was delicious and service was amazing.
google avatar

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
Mary is one of the best servers in the South Bay!! So friendly and attentive (AWESOME ) We really enjoyed our total experience at the restaurant. Celebrated our co-workers birthday. The food was great-delicious, the ambiance was great. Thank you Mary!, Looking forward coming back for my birthday lunch.
google avatar

Kyra C.

Yelp
I had brunch here on a Saturday! It was a perfect day to sit outside and have brunch! I had the French toast. The presentation was great and the taste was even better! I also tried the bottomless mimosas! For my first visit all thumbs up!

Lola W.

Yelp
Food and setup of the restaurant was great!! I would recommend coming back for friend and family gatherings.

Guy S.

Yelp
Our party of five had a relaxing & refreshing lunch enjoying the sea breeze at a patio table yesterday. Kelly was quick to greet us with a smile and her friendly dedicated service was appreciated. We started with guacamole/chips followed by steak salad, seared ahi salad, grilled shrimp tacos, a chicken wrap, a prime burger and fries. Everyone was impressed with the food presentations and the fresh tastes of each dish. Looking forward to dining here again...

Marissa M.

Yelp
Stumbled on this place looking for a place to eat with friends on Friday night. While it's a cute spot, the food didn't do it for me. I was honestly really disappointed, as the price point was high and the quality was low. I got the barbecue chicken flatbread and thought it was mediocre at best. While it looked great, the taste was not. I didn't like the bread, it was super crunchy and fell apart and didn't taste good. Not a flatbread pizza style I love. The chicken and toppings were fine, it just didn't taste impressive. And the side of fries were completely cold when they came out which was disappointing since it took a long time for the food to come out. The fries weren't seasoned, cold and bland. With tax and tip my single meal was way more than it should have cost and the food wasn't worth it. My boyfriend for the braised short rib tacos which were also just fine. While it was loaded with meet it wasn't juicy or flavorful. The waitress was nice and the restaurant pretty, but disappointing experience.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Although they didn't have a regular table as we reserved inside, we sat outside by the heater, and it was a very nice size comfortable table. The meatball appetizer was light, combined with 3 meats, tasteful, and melted in your mouth. The bread was seasoned with savory spices. The fish and chips were a bit overfried- which they removed from our bill and replaced them with a savorful burger. My fish tacos were loaded with layers of flavors that all satisfied my taste buds for a fantastic food experience. We look forward to coming back and trying other items again- but meatballs will be a definite.
google avatar

Miriam C.

Yelp
First time here at Rockefeller and I must say everything was to perfection and our server Stephan was so attentive and very nice with a smile on his face. Thank we will definitely be back.

Yelp
American Prime Burger is my favorite burger in the Village! They also have the best selection of beer on tap. Give them a try.
