Wow this place had every candy I ever had as a kid and more. They had an amazing amount of sodas in almost every flavor you can think of and even ones you can’t. From seasonal candy and sodas to sweet things from around the world. There were even chips from other countries too. Bring the kids here or let the kid inside of you out for a bit. Be kind to that inner child and indulge in Rocket Fizz confectioners concoctions. Staff were busy and helpful. They are open 365 days a year so no excuses.

Very cool and beautiful store with a huge variety of candy and soda that you can choose from. However, there is no price on candy, and some doesn’t even have expiration date or manufactured date.

Hilarious little sweets store! They make their own soda and toffee.. and the soda flavors are hysterical! The flavors that aren't for jokes are quite tasty. The toffee was amazing and you can get it by the piece too. They also have lots of antique candies.

I still love this place! All kinds of fun candy, posters, lunch pails, mugs, and more! The soda pop selection is incredible, flavors and brands you would have trouble finding elsewhere. They don't always have my favorite candy in stock, and I can think of lots more candy that they could carry, but I still have fun in this store. If you like Pocky sticks, they have a wonderful selection.

This is hands down one of the best candy stores. Aside from childhood favorites that I have not been able to find anywhere else, they also have an absolutely huge selection of stuff I have never even seen or heard of. You could spend hours in here perusing, and probably still not see quite everything. So much variety it almost makes the head spin! Good thing that it is fairly affordable compared to prices of other stuff in Denver, so better bring a large shopping sack!

Do you love unique sodas and candy? Look no further!! This shoppe is filled with every flavor you can think of, and then some. I can’t resist stopping in any time I’m in the area! Staff is super nice too :)

Nostalgia. Took me back to my childhood. Then there were the various Pops aka Sodas. 😳 peanut butter soda pop? Mustard soda pop? Yeap and many more. OH and they have a life size Batman!!

Rocket Fizz gets me. It knows what I need! Licorice flavored sweets. Cinnamon bears Long forgotten delights from your childhood? Yah, Rocket Fizz has it all. Eclectic mix of new and past faves. Is it expensive, hell yah but it's worth it. When you walk in, it's like an explosion of sweets. Staff are nice. Choices seem unlimited and they things organized in fun and sometimes unexpected ways. Staff are always friendly and it's not so big that you get lost. Great vibe for sure.

Such a fun soda and candy shop to visit from out of town we were able to find some nostalgic treats to bring home. We will definitely be back the next time we are visiting.

I love Rocket Fizz. This is such a cute shop with all kinds of candies and soda and is such a nostalgic place for young and old! We love to pop in here to grab a soda or a piece of candy any time we go downtown. The people that work here are always incredibly friendly and kind and helpful. I always have great conversations when we are in and it's just such a delight to stop in here in between shows and events !

Rocket fizz is a pretty cool store. It has tons and tons of candies and drinks and many of them are from other countries and regions. But not as much as you might think at first glance. Most of the sodas and bottled drinks are just what I've seen in various other stores around town. They just have a much bigger selection of all of them instead of a couple here and there. I found some candies that I haven't tried from places like England, but a whole lot of candies were just regular American candy. The prices are astronomical, however, and I couldn't find any labeled to know what I was paying beforehand so for a small bag of candy I paid almost $50 which was shocking. A very small can of soda from Canada had a price of about eight dollars. It's just a little high for some of the stuff that could be found in the states pretty easily. Will I go back? Sure, but I would probably try to pay attention to figuring out pricing before I committed to purchasing.

This is definitely a very corky yet fun shop. They have tons of cool items including a huge selection of soda pop designs and flavor combinations. I stayed on the safe side and tried the strawberry sparkling water and it was pretty tasty.

Had a fun time channeling the days of old in this establishment featuring old time candles and such. Too much to choose from and the variety is plentiful.

The candy selection honestly isnt that great and some of the candy was dirty. It's a cool idea, but the decor and execution are kinda bad. :(

Such a fun store. I found this store because I was visiting Denver and wanted to look for the penny stamp machine. Lots of fun, interesting candy and gag gifts!

Misslabeled an item (soda) went back & informed them a day after purchase, to be told i'd have a refund. The next time I was in the area i went in an I was told that the last time i was spoken to that I wasn't allowed in the store & they don't do refunds. I just so happen to have a png of the refund they cancelled on me & of the misrepresentation of items. Take your business to rocky mountain chocolate factory across the plaza. Subpar drinks for such a wide selection. 90% unrefrigerated.

I stumbled upon this place while walking to Larimer square. This is a candy and soda shop that features so many zany types of soda and most candies. This place was completely stocked and had a fair amount of flair on the walls and huge realistic looking Batman at the store entrance. I filled a few bags with candy for the family, mostly consisting of flavored taffys. I was surprised when I saw the maple bacon flavor and with margarita and other fruity flavors. I was impressed when I saw that they had my favorite Ginger Beer in stock, Cock N' Bull. There were many types of soda that I've never seen or heard of but they even had New York Seltzer, which I hadn't seen in years. Cool shop! Four stars!.

What a fun old fashioned store! There's so much candy and soda in this place it's astonishing. They have flavors of anything you can think of, and even some out of this world. The location is right downtown on a pedestrian mall. It's pretty large inside and has many different areas of candy. I liked the pop rocks and Rocky Mtn Soda Co stuff. The cashiers were very friendly and easygoing. Clean store was nice, only caveat is some of my candy wasn't very fresh. Go for the soda and candy that gets bought a lot.

Visited from Atlanta. Fun little nostalgic store. Was a nice little stop after being disappointed that 16th street mall just isn't what it used to be. Enjoyed my grape Nehi and Nut Roll. Just wish the tables in front of the store were accessible (stacked and chained up on a beautiful day).

Don't Ever Grow Up Oh my goodness, this place is soooooooo amazing!! You can find every kind of sweet and drink from your childhood here. Your dentist would NOT approve, but hey....you have to live a little!! If you need me, I'll be smoking a candy cigarette out back.

They have everything and I mean everything when it comes to candy. Looks like for soda too but that's not my thing. How the hell did I end up spending $40 on candy...too many choices!

Expensive? Rather. Nostalgic? You bet! Rocket Fizz has a huge selection of older and harder to find candies. In fact, I am surprised they bother devoting shelf space to easy to find "present day" candy. But, they probably do not want to miss out on the customers who want these items. I like that they have divided some of the areas by origin (English Candy, Japanese Candy, etc.) The selection of gourmet and obscure sodas also seems pretty good. I was a bit disappointed they did not have the particular English candy bar I was looking for my my recent visit (the young woman said they normally stock it, but have been out for a while). However, the people I was with on this visit seemed to find exactly what they were looking for. So, drop in, check it out, and get your sugar rush.

Rocket Fizz has got to be the most interesting, yet bizarre shop I've ever visited! Step inside, and you'll find a rare assortment of bottled sodas and over 1,500 different candies mixed in amongst vintage signs, tins, and other cool finds. The owner Patrick is a true gentleman and connoisseur - after telling him of my quest for a dark chocolate / coconut treat, he scurried away with two of his knowledgeable employees, returning with about five varieties. Adding more to my chocolatey excitement, they described each in detail, comparing the consistency and overall taste of each of the bars. Needless to say, I left with three so I could do my own testing! Situated across the street from a comedy club, and near a whole bunch of cool restaurants and bars, Rocket Fizz is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

This is the 2nd Rocket Fizz I have been to and while this place is fun, unique and sweet their prices are pretty high. Their prices deterred me from buying more candies as part of my friend's care package. It was just super pricy compared to what you could get some of the same candies for in other markets. Pocky and green tea kit kats here cost a grip more than you can find them in the Asian markets. I will give them props though for having a wide selection of taffies, sodas (though not many people drink soda anymore) and props for their nice and neat indoor setup. You can find Idaho Spud chocolate treat here, green tea Aero candy (too sweet for my taste), Hello Kitty candies, salt water taffies, violet hard candies (also offered at World Market), and metal lunch boxes among other things. The girl who helped me at the register was very friendly and chatty.

Incredible. Incredible! Walk in to Rocket Fizz, and you'll see every possible soda imaginable. (And tons of candy, too.) Most of these sodas don't have high fructose corn syrup. We're talkin' pure cane sugar, baby. Sodas in glass bottles, the way it should be. I picked up six sodas and each one was a flavorful adventure. 1) My favorite was the Polar Classics orange cream. Smooth and tasty. 2) I also loved "Mr." Cola. First of all, awesome name. Secondly, awesome taste. "That's 'Mr.' Cola to you." 3) Moxie was really, really good. It was one of the first mass-produced soft drinks in the U.S. (1884!) Civil War veterans probably drank this. I imagine Billy Yank and Johnny Reb clinking cold bottles and smiling that the Union was preserved to allow for such wonders. 4) Rocket Fizz Root Beer Float just tasted like root beer. It was pretty good, but I wouldn't get it again. 5) Avery's Cola was decent. Enjoyable, but not remarkable. 6) Bundaberg (Australian) root beer was fairly awful. Also, the bottle totally exploded when I popped the strange cap. Avoid this one, despite the lure of the kangaroo on the bottle. I picked up my custom-made six pack and enjoyed a cold new flavor periodically throughout my 5,000-mile road trip. Is it wrong that I want to sample every flavor?

This is a fun place to visit in Denver. All. The. Bubbles...literally every kind of soda in existence and all of the candy from your childhood, new things you've never seen before and some fun from the folks at Archie McPhee to boot. I loved the myriad of metal signs, as I collect them myself. They were funny! They were nostalgic! They lined the walls! I also loved the candy assortment. I mean there were the popular Green Tea kit kats sold in Asia, pop rocks from my childhood, moon pies and tastykakes, penny candy and salt water taffy, and a nice selection of the local Hammond's chocolate. With all this candy you'd have thought I'd go nuts man. What was my purchase? A rare Betty Boop bobblehead, decked out like a motorcycle mama with a Route 66 sign. She's going to be my touchstone for road trips in my car this summer. What was my favorite soda? See my picture!

unbelievably overpriced. charging $2.99 for a single pack of candy cigarettes. for reference a 24 pack on Amazon costs $12. and i have even seen 24 packs for $8 in Pittsburgh. an upcharge is to be expected but not by that much! and then they were charging $8 for chocolate oranges that can be bought for half that at safeway! they have a great selection but you are better off buying elsewhere.

Okay so let me start by saying that this place was a must stop when visiting down town. We love the nostalgic vibe. I thought the candy items were interesting and I am a sucker for taffy. On our recent visit we got our usual treat. I only realized after Halloween that when comparing store bought candy of the same brand that the candy at this place is stale and almost expired. If you look at the expiration date on the box this expired. We purchased it on the 30th of October. Also the taffy and tootsie rolls are old compared to what was recently purchased at the supermarket.

Severely disappointed in this business. tried to take my parents here who are visiting and we get here where the open sign is turned on but there is a note on the door that says be back in 5-10 minutes so we said no problem, we can wait then 20 minutes went by and still no one came back to the store. Multiple people tried to come and go in and left. Lost a ton of business. If you want to close, at least turn off your open sign and if you are going to be gone 5-10 minutes, actually be gone for that amount of time.

For many it's worth a visit just for the nostalgic walk through your childhood. It's a hodgepodge of old school candy, faux retro candy and sodas, Japanese candy that's more cute than tasty, and random kitsch. Bacon scarf, anyone? (Yes, dear, I regret not getting the Dr. Who lunch box.)

Really fun candy store! They have all sorts of older candy that you can't find most places. It's a fun atmosphere and the service is friendly and helpful. Stop by if you're nearby and see what you can find that you haven't seen since you were a kid!

OMG!! I totally lost my mind when my friend pointed out the new addition to the Gardens on Havana. This is a candy store store and more!! I went to my first Rocket Fizz in Estes Park many years ago, and loved it. The selection of unique candies and sodas is out of this world plus you can find all your favorite. So I definitely recommend to at least check it out. Unfortunately whoever was working 3/19/21 afternoon for some reason was acting pretty weird and though I was talking to him he was watching my friend like a hawk. Seruously we were just two adults acting like happy kids in a candy store. I've worked with customers face-to-face for most of my life and I couldn't figure out what was going on. The guy that was working was acting so uneasy it made me feel uncomfortable. If you're that nervous don't work with customers face-to-face. My purchase wasn't cheep and only one of my candy items is something you don't find in every store. To the owner if you want your Aurora location to last don't let your employees treat customers like thieves. I know your other locations are in more "wealthy" areas of Colorado but we should be treated all the same.

This location is better organized and more attractive than the Boulder store. Call me uptight, but I prefer a neat and tidy approach (e.g. tables with step-type shelves) over a cluttered one (e.g. flat tables with items piled atop). But I don't understand why you can find the same item in two or three different places within the store. On the plus side, I found both a milk and a dark version of Goldenberg's Peanut Chews. Sadly, we could not find Haribo gummi bears.

Not much gets me excited as a candy store, especially one as well stocked as Rocket Fizz. I like a lot of different types of candy just not sold in regular grocery stores. Rocket Fizz has most of them, including candy cigarettes (I just like the way they taste), all kinds of Kinder chocolates, Sixlets, Pop Rocks (inclulding chocolate covered!), and a million flavors of taffy! The only thing they were missing was Minstrels! They also a ton of different flavors of soda. The store is a little on the pricey side but totally worth it. The other part about Rocket Fizz I love is the atmosphere - they play old-time pop rock and the staff is really friendly. The location is unbeatable and the late hours make it very accessible. I wish they had a store in Oakland!

I stumbled upon this place as we waited for reservations at a restaurant in Larimer Square... Talk about kid in a candy store! The moment I walked in I immediately saw the table of imported candy from the UK. I had / have an obsession of Flake bars and was so excited to see that they have them. The nostalgia of my childhood came rushing back, they had along the walls bins of salt water taffy, oh my summers along the east coast.. boxes of candy ciggarettes, and the uber sweet treats there that I could not imagine eating now, (tubes of flavored corn syrup, and wax sodas) - but they also have items that I know I definitely would not be trying but super amusing... the bacon flavored or buffalo wing soda (yikes adventerous!) Overall super impressed with all the candy they have there, and the vibe was fun, warm and welcoming. If you are in the neighborhood or looking for some fun cheesy gifts, check this place out.

I've never had a great experience at this particular location. It feels more like a candy shop for children than adults. The items are generally overpriced or out-of-stock. Sure, they have a great selection of European items if you're willing to pay for them. The staff is almost always either rude or indifferent to you. Most of them (the staff) are kids goofing off and eating the profits. My last visit here caused my credit card being compromised and a massive purchase being deducted from my checking account. Long story short, I ended up with the usual "We're sorry, please give us another chance" routine from management. Well, I have never been back and cannot picture a scenario in which I would return. #SorryNotSorry

Craving peanut butter and jelly flavored soda? or any of the 300 they offer? COME HERE. Determined to find bacon flavored lip gloss, a cardboard cutout of Luke Skywalker, a pen that farts when you write with it, or an ice cream cone that shoot water? COME HERE. On the hunt for chocolate from Germany, taffy from Switzerland, or Mexican Jumping beans? COME HERE. This place is Candyland in real life. and who doesn't like that? Life is better sweet. COME HERE :)

Fun, fun, fun and a trip down memory lane. It is a sizable store filled with all of the favorites of my youth. A sense of nostalgia filled me as I continued to recognize candy after candy that I used the purchase from the ice cream man. My mother still reminds me of the summer I secretly used my silver dollar collection to buy Razzles off of the truck. But I digress... Razzles were among the finds today along with those tiny ice cream cones topped with " marshmallow" , Fun Dip, chocolate cigarettes, Pop Rocks, Nik -L-Nips wax bottles - why did we chew the wax afterwards? Circus peanuts, Necco Wafers, Chuckles - the list goes on and on. It was a blast to poke around. I also liked the bathtubs filled with pick your own candy - salt water taffy in every imaginable flavor. Although all of these were close to the windows so I wonder what they will do in the summer? As soon as you walk in there is a table of UK imports so it was cool to see the hubby react in the same way I did and share his favorites from his childhood as well. Their Smarties are different from ours. This was just the candy section I am describing - don't get me started on the hundreds of soda including limited edition bottled Dr. Pepper - according to a sign the factory is closing so when it is gone it is gone. I overheard one of the shopkeepers say they are not even done stocking up on candy and will be getting in more novelty items - who knew they made girl squirrel underpants? Because you can buy those too! It is a great place to go and have a laugh and eat way too much sugar.

When you want to take a trip down nostalgic lane this is probably one of the best place to do it it's not quite wheelchair accessible with the staff is always happy to move things out of the your way

Candy, and soda and diabetes, oh my! This store was on my list of places to visit while in Denver, and I must have done 75 laps inside trying to pick out candy and soda from the huge selection. The flavors they stock are varied, from Coca Cola to Lavender to Bacon and everything in between. You can purchase bottles individually, or by the 4 or 6 pack. Finding a pack to hold the bottles was difficult, and the staffers sort of just pointed towards the front of the store, when they were hiding under some candy displays. Maybe they could make a sign and have a designated spot? Other than that the staff was really helpful, making suggestions and pointing out where we could find our favorite items. The Candy Man even gave us some free M&M's when they had too many that would fit on the shelf. Yay sugar! I particularly liked MacFuddy's Pepper Elixir which is like Dr Pepper had a magical crack baby with Cream Soda. Lots of the soda's are kept in refrigerators against the back wall, so if you want a cold one, head there instead of grabbing one off the shelves. They group them by type, which is nice, all the ginger sodas are in one section, root beer in another. I tried to pick a magical cream soda, though they did not have Big Red in stock, and another customer was super bummed that they had sold out, and he had to settle for another red dye #6 infused concoction. So I ended up with something that was way too sweet but totally delicious. Much like the candy I bought. There was not a ton of candy that did not involve peanuts and as I hate the legume's taste and texture I had a little trouble picking something out. The Candy Man came to my rescue and suggested a few suitable items. They also have an obscene selection of taffy, and if you're not too particular on flavors, you can cram a bag full of taffy for a set price, or pay per piece. I only found about 10 flavors that I deemed interesting enough to try, so I didn't bother with the bag. I spent about 14 bucks on 4 sodas and enough candy to last me a week. I'd definitely come back, but don't buy anything you can get at the regular grocery store.

If I could be buried here after I die...I would be in heaven. Walked over here on our way to dinner in Larimer square. This place has a red carpet and balloons leading up to the entrance and the workers were dressed in Halloween costumes. From weird sodas (pb&j) to regular candies to old school candies and imported yummies, name it and it's here! They even have a wall of taffy! I was squealing when I saw that they had these green tea kit kats my friend brought me from Japan a few years ago! You could browse here a good hour and find new sugary goods to buy when you take a second look around. Definitely a great place to bring a visitor to Denver!

What a fun, old school shop! Of course I stumble upon this place after the doctor tells me that I have to cut down on the sugar so it was a more peruse and admire trip for me. They have pretty much every candy imaginable along with sodas that I've never even heard of. I felt like I would see something Ooooohhhh and Aaaaaaah over it, walk three steps then do the same thing. This place has it all, whether you are looking for something to cure your sweet tooth or a quirky little something something for someone, check it out!

This is a time killing store. Or maybe more of a time machine store. You walk in and are taken aback that so many different types of candies, chocolates and sodas exist! I mean there is on whole section for Ginger beer/ale/soda - 2 dozen varieties or more! Each stroll down an aisle brings back memories of a vacation, time with friends or some special sugar filled moment from youth. My mom, in particular, loves this store as it has all kinds of toys and candies from way back when. It is fun to walk around and hear the stories. There really is no compliant here. Good location in Writer's Square. Amazing selection. Prices all seem fine, maybe a little high but this isn't exactly 7-11, it seems like a place you make a special trip for, so I don't care.! Love it!!

Fun, whimsical, and every dentists' retirement fund. This store has a very impressive selection of soda pop and candy from many places around the world. You can buy bulk, you can buy single. You can choose a soda pop in the flavor of bacon or kitty piss or ranch dressing. The options are astounding. Staff is super friendly and they greet you with a hello when you walk through the door.

The biggest selection of sodas I've ever seen! I went in looking for a couple Rocky Mountain Soda Company bottles and left with a six pack. And I love that every single bottle is a "loosie", meaning its sold individually. You can buy multiples of just one flavor, but you're not limited to that either. In case you're into buying local, there's at least eight different RMSC flavors: Root Beer, Birch Beer, Lemon Limeade, Ginger Beer, Peaches n Cream, Prickly Pear - that's not even counting the Elderberry or Cola. I'm sure it was there in Rocket Fizz, but the sheer selection is overwhelming to say the least. If you purchase more than five (I think?) they offer you a small discount. I guess that extra money is to pay for your dentist bill a few months down the line. Really cool shop on the 16th Street Mall route if you like all things sweet and nostalgic.

This place was amazingly cool. The prices are hit or miss. Some candies are priced low, which is awesome, but some candies are way overpriced. The employees were fantastic though.

Came in randomly, had some sodas we wanted to try. The employee working was super friendly and helpful and had some recommendations. Clearly likes his job! Lots of selection from sodas you've heard of and also not heard of, and a lot of candy

Simply a fun, nostalgic place to browse a wide variety of candy, and an insane variety of bottled sodas! A feast for all the senses, metal signs and lunchboxes artfully decorate the walls to the ceiling. Treat for kids or the kid in you!

This store is filled with candy nostalgia! Tonight was my first time time in this establishment and it was a great experience, the cashier was helpful helpful with suggestions and finding me candies I thought were discontinued years ago! The only reason this place falls short of five stars is because of the other worker there, he was very rude and incredibly unprofessional! He not only walked out multiple times, but he ran around the store just to tell me information the cashier had already said!!!!

This is my favorite rocketfizz. Biggest selection, and really friendly staff. I go here for my foreign, and old school candies. I mostly enjoy the constant availability of Charms sour balls, Chunky bars, pez, jujubes, gobstoppers, cow tails. Plan to be there for a while! It will bring you back.

I can't say how much I love this place. A novelty shop that sells everything deliciously mouth watering from old school candies to bacon flavored sodas. Even rare trading cards! This place is literally the gem of the shopping center it's in.

This place seems to love farts. There was fart candy, fart soda, fart spray. Farts farts farts. If you're into that kind of thing, then this is the place for you. Putting that aside (as I, myself, am not much a fan of fart culture), this place is great. So many candies that I had no idea ever existed (but I bet my parents do). Lots of candy (old and new), sodas, and old timey memorabilia like lunchboxes and signs for the collectors out there. The store itself is pretty roomy in Larimer Square, and the place is PACKED with stuff, wall to wall of sugary goodness. You can also buy individual candies, jelly beans and salt water taffies by the bagful, if you just can't decide what you want. Flat price for the bag, not by the pound. So.... LOAD THAT SUCKER UP! When I get my next sugar rush (which won't take long), this shall be the place I go.

Amazing selections for Japanese confectionery and hard-find gifts in this store. I enjoyed browsing to buy souvenirs for my family.
