Our family (DeMille) had a wonderful time, our original cottage had some maintenance issues, so we got moved to a smaller cottage, ( patio cottage) we are very simple and did not mind, even though we had 3 young adults raging in age 18-23, and two adults my husband and me. Our cottage had the perfect sleeping accommodation with two twin beds, one king size bed and a very comfy sofa. Kitchen has a sink, a mini fridge a microwave and a small cook top that you plug in. I was able to cook breakfast and lunch on the cook top with no problem, and we used one of the meny grills that are outdoors to cook some burgers for dinner. There is a lot of pets in the area, 4 dogs that we encounter, all very friendly, our favorite was lady, she was the sweetest, and a few cats that my daughter spend hours taking pictures of. Lol I got a horse ride, and that was my favorite part of our stay, I rode on Tater tot- a 20 year old female horse who had been rescued 5 years ago. Her story was very heartbreaking but with a happy ending. She was perfect for me, gentle as can be, calm and very easy to handle, I was glad, because the last time I rode a horse I was living in Minnesota and I was 13 years old. When you ride, you get a very important crash corse on how to guide your horse, you get to brush them, and saddle them, and I loved every step. Overall we 100% recommend Rockin Star Ranch, our host was so friendly and we can tell he loves to please his guest, very attentive and would answer our text within 5 minutes. We wanted a quiet weekend get away, and we got it. We will be back for sure.
