Rocklands Catering: A Backyard BBQ Dream Come True! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Rocklands Catering and the incredible job they did for my husband’s 50th birthday party last April. From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to turn our backyard into a festive, cozy BBQ party space that was perfect for celebrating such a special milestone. Planning a sit-down event for 30+ people in a backyard can be a logistical challenge, but Rocklands made it feel effortless. They helped us think through every detail, from table placement to seating arrangements, ensuring that everyone had a comfortable spot while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their expertise in transforming spaces is truly impressive—it felt like our backyard had been magically upgraded into the perfect party venue! The food, of course, was absolutely phenomenal. We went all out and ordered the full roasted pig, which was finalized in a tent in our front yard and then beautifully displayed during the party. It was such a show-stopping centerpiece and a huge hit with our guests! As always, Rocklands delivered on all the other food items as well. The pulled chicken, wings, and sides like potato salad, collard greens, mac and cheese, and cucumber salad were all delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a testament to their commitment to quality and flavor. But what really stood out was the service. The Rocklands team was professional, friendly, and so attentive to every detail. They made the entire process stress-free and fun, allowing us to truly enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics. Their creativity, hard work, and dedication turned what could have been a simple backyard gathering into an unforgettable event. We hired Rockland’s BBQ to cater a large retirement party. Their service was professional from the get-go. They were easy to work with and offered great suggestions to personalize the menu. Rockland’s team showed up on time, got everything set up, and they all had wonderful personalities and really cared about their service for our party. The food came freshly made and absolutely delicious ! When organizing such a large event, it is important for the planner to have a great relationship with the catering company. I felt 100% comfortable the entire planning process and knew what to expect from beginning to end. At the conclusion of the event, they offered leftovers for the remaining food and cleaned up, wonderfully at the end. Of course, the ribs and macaroni and cheese were the absolute favorites! The brisket was sliced to perfection and tender to eat. The amount of seasoning on all other food across the board was perfection! Thank you so much to Rocklands and we will definitely be using them again.

Rocklands BBQ has been a long time partner of Halcyon. We do at least one BBQ per year and last year was no exception. For our Ten Year Anniversary we had Rocklands BBQ do a dinner for 150 people in our garden. They handled everything from food, to linens, to service. We had a great time and look forward to using them again.

We use Rocklands every year for our annual pig roast event and it is ALWAYS a huge hit! The food is always delicious and they roast the pig right outside of our event. Always get a ton of compliments for the event and it's one of our highlights of the year.

I've used Rocklands several times for both staffed and unstaffed events. Their food is obviously great, with generous portions but what I really appreciate is their staff. It's great working with Beatriz in catering who is very knowledgeable about the right portion sizes for groups etc, but the catering staff themselves are just wonderful! We host a yearly party for 100 people at our home and the servers and kitchen staff leave our home looking spotless when they leave, leftovers boxed up in our fridge and 100 happy guests. The prices are reasonable and the staff is beyond professional. I also like using Rocklands for more casual gatherings at my house and they deliver with all the right equipment which is super helpful. They've never forgotten anything in any of our orders and everything has always been delivered in great shape (no leaks, etc). Highly recommend trusting Rocklands with your events -- I'm someone that spent 15+ years in events management in DC and has worked with the most expensive caterers in the are. I will absolutely vouch for their professionalism and service which is on par with any high end caterer in the area, despite the more casual food.

Rocklands catered a delicious luncheon baby shower for 25 friends and family. Food was delicious, and the service was first rate.
