Rockport Brewing Company

As usual, I am drawn to good branding. I love their logo. And the store design is colorful inside. We walked in, and were not greeted with any type of smile. When we were finally acknowledged, we were told the rules of the restaurant and the ordering process, instead of a hello. It was off putting. On the table, there are even rules about how to handle children in the restaurant which I found uninviting. We did not have children with us, but felt the two paragraph long 10 point type placard was wild. I was shouted at when I had a BYOB, and everyone in the restaurant turned to see what was going on. Overall, bad vibes in the place. Not sure what the problem is there, but it seems like it should be a winning combo: Pizza, beer and family fun. And the pizza was very below average too. 🥺

Awesome local spot. We tried the beer, root beer, pretzel, pizza, and chicken Caesar wrap. The pretzel was the best I’ve ever had, you can taste the love that is put into the dough and homemade mustard. The pizza and beer were all fantastic. The chicken Caesar was underwhelming compared to everything else but still okay. Definitely a great spot to check out and support.

The pizza seems to be more popular than the beer at the actual brewery. Locals love it here & the beer flight was okay. We enjoyed October Gale. The 'pescato' & 'oars across' are some pretty solid, tasty brews served all over locally.

Pizza was good, staff was friendly. I would go again. They have merch and beers for purchase to go.

It was definitely a fun place to visit. Great hospitality and service. Ray is a great owner and host! Beer was great as was the limoncello hard seltzer. Pizza were delicious, we sampled three different kinds! Atmosphere is great, truly worth the stop. We’ll be back next time in Rockport!

Rockport isn't exactly known for their pizza. So a quick Yelp search came up when the kids were asking for it and the brewery came pretty recommended with what looked like some decent pies. We were downtown already parked, so it involved a 12 minute walk out to the brewery but it was still very worth it, easy to get to via the great sidewalk system within the city. It looks like an old converted house that now has an open floor plan with a tiny bar, walk up service (no wait staff) for all of your food/drink needs and then maybe about a dozen tables with some video games in the back. It's not a huge place and I was kind of surprised we didn't have any kind of view of the brewing area unless it doesn't take place on site. We were glad we chose to eat lunch here, not only for the inventive offerings but also because of the prices. It's getting harder and harder to find even lunch items for less than $15 but everything we got was just that. The pizza was pretty meh but the kids didn't seem to mind. I'm always a sucker for excellent grain mustard that pairs well with pretzels and it definitely did here. The curry chicken salad sandwich was the standout for me, perfectly seasoned with a good amount of complimentary grapes and the house made bread really put it all together. Now I wish we had gotten two of them. I had a New England IPA that was cloudy and fruity, an excellent pairing with the pretzels and sandwich. Not the best brewery in the world and a bit small but it serves the needs of one of New England's quaint seaside towns. My biggest disappointment was not seeing one single TV while we were in there for a Patriots game that was about to start.

Great beer and loved the snacks! Got the saucy sailor pizza and it was so yummy! Enjoyed the seasonal sour!

Really cute spot! Ample parking, good beers on draft, went on a Saturday afternoon and got a table with 0 drama. Pizzas looked good although very small menu really only go for food if Pizzas the dream. Nice staff that were helpful. Small cooler with to gos and a few games in the back. Worth the stop!

Stopped in today for a delicious Shorebreaker IPA - and a crunchy, fresh and tasty classic cheese pizza. The reggae tunes and sweet staff were all great. Highly recommend!

Just what Rockport needed! Small brewery with a modest but decent selection of beers. Loved my IPA and session IPA. Pizza nothing to write home about but goes down really great with those beers. Medium sized with a dozen or so tables. Every table was used on a September Friday around 6 pm. Mixture of middle aged, families and senior citizens with lively chatter, all enjoying good company with good beer.

Extremely friendly staff. Beers are delicious - my favorite was Pescato. Great beers and friendly folk . Came after hiking Halibut Point state park - which also recommend so was refreshing .

I am sure this place is fine and I wish them well. I heard that the beer is good. But if you have gluten allergy, or intolerance, I would give it a pass. To be fair there was one GF beverage - a very strong and very tart lemon drink. If you have a gluten intolerance you can have nothing to eat and a choice of 1 adult beverage.
