Although the store has an eclectic (if limited) selection, the customer service is disappointing. I had received a nice Spanish red, purchased and Rocks and Acid, as a housewarming gift. When I went to open it, the cork crumbled. In my 40+ years of wine drinking, a crumbled cork has almost invariably meant the wine is compromised. That's especially true of reds. In the few instances in the past when it was worth my time to return a compromised bottle, the store has apologized and replaced it. Not Rocks and Acid, despite the fact I carried the evidence -- the remains of the crumbled cork -- with me. In my view, inexcusable for a wine boutique.
