We are locals and have been here many times and really enjoy the rooftop bar. This review, unfortunately is for their New Year’s Eve party. It was our daughter’s first New Year’s Eve as a 21-year-old, and we thought this would be the perfect spot. The decorations were cute, the hats and kazoos and accessories were sweet, but two things stood out as totally unacceptable for a New Year’s Eve party. The biggest issue by far, was how absolutely abysmal that DJ was. DJ Starsky…. first, not only did his music suck so bad that nobody danced, and it was completely beyond out of touch in regards to the crowd. Read the room sir…. he was crass, he was rude, he talked over the music all night, used profanities, also played tons of songs with the N-word and the C-word. Not at all appropriate for the holiday or the audience. I think Bohemian management can do better. Truly embarrassing for you: We were really offended, and it was not enjoyable at all. Our second issue, which would have been very important had the music not been so horrible, was that there were only two heaters on the entire rooftop deck. You can’t advertise a rooftop New Year’s Eve party when it’s in the 30’s outside with only two heaters when your guests can’t actually be outside without freezing and being entirely bundled up. And the interior was so packed that you couldn’t be inside so it made it very physically uncomfortable to enjoy the New Year.
