Rockwell on the River

One of our favorite venues for weddings. The wedding guests absolutely loved our live social sharing Airbooth Social Photo Booth. They offer a great outdoor spot for cocktail hour and we love the entrance and courtyard, very classy brick sidewalk leading to entrance and yes, this will really while your guest as they enter your event. Convenience is very important and they also offer front valet parking service. Google search Airbooth Social and ask for the Rockwell discount.

Rockwell on the River is such an incredible wedding venue. The way that they've said up the space allows for great guest flow and plenty of space. They have a really nice private outdoor area right next to the river. As a photographer, I'd definitely recommend Rockwell on the River to anyone looking for a place to get married!

We had our wedding here this past weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! Adriana, Eleanor, and Annabel were so helpful throughout the planning process and accommodating our large Indian wedding!!! The venue is beautiful, unique, and such a fun place to get married. We were able to have our dream boat baraat for entry and exit, and the whole vendor team is awesome!!

My wife and I got married at Rockwell on the River, and we can't speak highly enough of the overall experience! First off, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful (high ceilings, stunning wood floors, lots of space) and can also be a blank canvas for you to add decorations and customize the way you'd like - strings lights, chandeliers, etc (we had suspended floral over the beams and it was stunning). We held both our ceremony and Reception inside, and had our cocktail hour on the beautiful patio out back, right on the river. Additionally, the staff there is very organized and was extremely helpful throughout our wedding planning process, especially Eleanor. They provide a list of recommended vendors, and have a list of "approved" caterers as the space can be somewhat challenging to work in for food service. However, there are plenty of options, and our caterer from the list (Cocina Fusion) was fantastic. The venue also provides their own beverage package with plenty of add ons, different tiers to choose from, and bar staff that was very nice and helpful throughout the night! The one caveat we would add is the lack of parking - we recommend bringing in an outside valet (not expensive but obviously all $$$ adds up) for your event. Overall we highly recommend hosting your event at Rockwell!

My husband and I hosted our wedding at Rockwell on the River last week and it was one of the best choices we made. There are obviously a lot of options when it comes to venues in Chicago but we knew Rockwell was the one from the moment we stepped into the space. It offers the perfect amount of indoor and outdoor space for our guests to enjoy. The management team (venuelogic) was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were incredibly responsive and answered all of my many, many questions. Our guests were in awe of the space and the huge outdoor patio that can be utilized all night. The entire venue is clean and spacious. We absolutely loved hosting our big day there! Thank you Rockwell!!!

Scoped this out as a wedding location. Industrial feel Huge. Literally on the river for the couple to arrive by boat. Major disadvantage is the lack of parking ! Huge space .. so Greta for crowds. But will need to spend a lot on decor.

The place is We have photographed weddings there several times and the space is phenomenal. You have everything you need for a wedding in one place and the food is excellent. Right by the river. Our recommendation.

I love raw spaces that you can transform for events and Rockwell on the River is that exactly, I recently attended a bar mitzvah here and was super impressed with the space. It's absolutely massive so I'd recommend for a large party, although it looks like you can divide it into a smaller space if necessary too. This space was beautifully decorated for this particular bar mitzvah and do think very high centerpieces are best due to the high ceilings. It was february so everything was done inside, although they did connect a heated tent for the kids cocktail hour. I'm headed to another event there in August where they plan to use the outdoor space for cocktail hour and I hear river boat rides are even an option. Super cool! I'm sure they have lots of catering options to choose from, but this particular party used limelight and i thought the food was better than the average bar mitzvah/wedding. I would definitely consider this venue for an event. I don't love planning downtown events due to the long drive from the suburbs, but since this wasn't as far it took us about 45 minutes to get there from Glencoe on a Sat evening and then another 25 minutes home later that evening.

I am helping my father plan his second wedding (he is widowed), and I cannot say enough great things about Annabelle and the team at Rockwell on the River. Things have changed quite a bit since the last time either of us was involved in wedding planning, and I am so grateful for how thoughtful and thorough the team has been every step of the way! Unsure where the big day will actually take place, but had to shout out the team's professionalism!

Amazing venue! I attended my coworker's wedding here on a beautiful June Saturday night. The space is so lovely and the outdoor space is incredible. I loved the functionality of the space and how everything flowed. Such a beautiful space and I can't wait to come back soon for another event!

Came here to look at a wedding venue! This is a wonderful space, and Annabelle was a great guide who was very knowledgeable. The space is huge and can hold up to 350 people. It's large enough so that all components of the wedding can be held inside. There's a back outdoor space right on the river, and the view is gorgeous. Would definitely consider having a wedding here!

Wifey and I came here for a 2 hour kayak rental and didn't know they had so much cool things! There were several places to eat; a good looking pork place, a bar on the river, and seemed like a good time. I wish we knew about it because we would had came earlier for a bite before our kayak rental. (And a beer). I would love to come back! Such good atmosphere! Dog friendly and lots of places to park.

Gorgeous venue!!!! I visited Rockwell on the River to scope it out for a potential gala venue and was so impressed. The historic building has a classic yet modern feel. If you've ever been to the Distillery District of Toronto, this venue has a similar vibe. Claire, the venue manager, was very accommodating to all of our needs as a client. The space includes a patio overlooking the River, and guests can even arrive by boat! I would highly recommend this space for a corporate, nonprofit, or wedding event.

Attended a wedding here recently. The venue is beautiful and spacious. It's in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Not particularly attractive on the outside but beautiful inside and a great view of the river from the spacious patio.
