RockyPop Chamonix - Les Houches

A high-quality hotel with a unique and stylish interior and exterior design. The rooms are spotless and equipped with all the essentials. In the evening, guests can enjoy live music, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant offers a great selection of dishes and wines — I especially enjoyed the fish risotto. Breakfast was exceptional: beautifully varied and served in an all-glass room with breathtaking views and creatively designed seating arrangements. Service was attentive and professional throughout our stay. The entire hotel is a non-smoking area, which is a wonderful bonus for non-smokers.

For the price and the promo code on the website sometimes, it was a steal! Two bus stops right in front of the hotel to go to and from center centers of bother Los Houches and Chamonix. They gave me a half off card for that. I bought day passes for bus even tho didn’t use it as the machine didn’t work :( Two kiosks to buy bus passes and the all inclusive/ski passes that are super easy to use and reserve. Rooms can fit (if you put luggage to walls) 4 small luggage’s or 2 check in luggage with 1 or two carry one. Good table to work Plentiful plugs North side of the window faced the indoor courtyard and the hills. I was able to see the other rooms window which also faced the courtyard but at least they can get views of mount blanc or such. No complaints at all. Music does play till 9-10ish? They have some deep base but honestly, with the window closed, I barely heard it nor bothered me falling asleep. Many people are awake at 6/7 already - probably to catch the skis and etc so you can make friends Cute games and a huge connect 4 game that was fun :) They also had such a cute coloring board on the wall for kids! Bbq put is outside too and a playground! Overall amazing and would come back again - espically for the price point. (Depending on the dates, the fridge can get full in the common room) Not sure if the over worked but it looked cool!

RockyPop Hotel in Chamonix is a fantastic choice for families. The hotel is spotless, with a friendly atmosphere and an amazing team – always smiling, helpful, and very attentive to food allergies, which made our daughter extremely happy to enjoy the buffet safely. The restaurant serves outstanding meals, with something delicious for everyone. The location is perfect – a bus stop right next to the hotel (10 minutes to Chamonix center) and the Multipass makes all cable cars and trains free and unlimited. There are plenty of attractions – a children’s corner, games, billiards, table football, ping-pong, and a playground with breathtaking mountain views. Comfortable rooms and great facilities make this place perfect for relaxing after exploring the beautiful hiking trails.

Excellent hotel for visitors to plan to stay in the Mount Blanc area for couple of days. The hotel has perfect location, just 15-20 min away for the Chamonix city center by bus. Has its own protected parking space. The rooms are quite small but comfortable for the mountaineers and travelers who admire active style of life.|The breakfast in the hotel is SUPER DEMICIOUS with the hotel of this class - everything fresh, taste and most of teh meals prepared locally.|Very good quality free WiFi.|Friendly staff who are always ready to assist guests of the hotel.

Stayed one night. Located a little distance from restaurants and shops and fairly quiet. Funky design as you wouldn't expect in a place like this.|Very small, clean room. Only one luggage rack and one chair for two people. No fridge, electric kettle or microwave. There was a safe (didn't use). Well located power sockets, including near the bed. Multiple hooks and shelves in the room and bathroom.|Comfortable beds and pillows.|Bathroom with everything in working order. Shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Standard toiletries (shower gel container nearly empty).|Breakfast buffet with reasonable selection, although limited healthy options (no yogurt, fresh fruit or vegetables).|Wifi worked well.

Really cool vibe, staff were all so friendly especially bar/restaurant staff! Food was delicious. Rooms fab! Facilities are great! There is a free ski bus right outside the hotel. The hotel is located in a quieter area and you have to get the ski bus which is every 30 mins and convenient so location not really an issue unless you want to be in a busy area! Will definitely be returning.

Stayed here for a long weekend skiing with friends, FANTASTIC... the hotel is very relaxed we felt right at home straight away. The staff were all really lovely from reception to the bar. Free coffee was nice after getting back from a days skiing ... resting on the couches and drinking coffee before going to the room and getting a shower before hitting the bar. We ate in the restaurant,,, the food was very good and the prices are very resonable for a hotel. The rooms are comfy. Not big rooms but very clean everything you need, Showers are very good. The ski bus stops right outside and you can even buy your passes in reception. The ski pass allows you to travel by bus in the valley for free. Chamonix town is a 15-20 minute bus ride away. We had a late checkout as we had an late evening flight. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended............

Great hotel with everything so that you really can stay away from the crowds of Chamonix. Close to the cable car to Aguille Du Midi. Has parking, great food, nice staff, elevator and windows to open up for fresh air. Coffee and water in the lobby 24/7. Plenty to do for the kids with a Library, games, pool and ping pong tables too. Also ski shop attached. Go - the price points are super reasonable and ask for a bigger room. You will not regret staying there.

Located in Les Houches, it's just a short-ish public bus ride to and from Chamonix. The bus is free during the day and a small charge (1.50 euro) in the evening. The hotel has such a fun vibe. It's just buzzing with energy. Rooms are tiny but clean and well appointed (there's a wall mounted towel warmer so you can hand wash and dry some of your clothes here). The breakfast spread was wonderful. There was fruit, sausage, mushrooms, eggs, chia seed pudding, pastries, juices etc. I had dinner one night here and got a burger and it was fresh and filling. I would stay at RockyPop again, and would recommend to family and friends (esp those coming in larger groups) who don't mind a short trek into Chamonix.

This is where you should stay if you're visiting Chamonix or any town nearby. Take the bus into Chamonix from the stop in front of RockyPop because this hotel is totally worth it. They have free arcade games, communal fridges freezers and microwaves, a full bar, a restaurant (make a reservation) with delicious food (get the burgers and chocolate desert), reliable internet, extremely comfy rooms, and excellent patio views of the Mont Blanc range. Staff is wonderful and speaks seemingly every language. They're fun and make you feel right at home. You'll also find live music on Saturday nights and a playground outside for the kids. Parking is available on site. Prices here are extremely cheap for all that value. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Rocky pop is such a vibe! The hallways to the rooms remind me of pac man with such fun carpet and neon light room numbers. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had a good amount of Space. The hotel is about 15/20 minute bus ride into Chamonix but the prices are far cheaper than anything in the city directly. They have a delicious restaurant where I had one of the best cheese pizzas of my life. There are a lot of activities at the hotel and it is very lively. The only thing is they DO NOT do bag check if you arrive early. We were lucky enough to check in early however you can't store bags here. Would stay again. I really enjoyed my visit overall.

Staying here for over a week and can't say how helpful the receptionist was. Breakfast option was great for €15. Dinner was excellent. Good choice after a ling walk.

Stayed here for one night on September 4, 2022. Loved it. The decor, from the rubix cube tissue covers to the glittery elevators, is a bit quirky - in a good way. I particularly liked the views, toiletries and bar area. The breakfast, which was included in my stay, was the best I had during my walk through the Tour du Mont Blanc area. Also, Chamonix is easily accessible by train, bus or foot. (The walk is about three miles.)

It's not in the best location but it makes up for it in spades. This place is SO COOL. hahah Really though the vibe of the entire place was fun. You can get anywhere pretty easily and parking was fine. The photos alone should show you how innovative the owners are. The bar is good, the random things around the place are fun, and it gives off the vibe of refined pop culture. This is what big kids make when they get money. This hotel. I was inspired and wanted to take some of it back to my businesses back in Canada. The stay itself was comfortable. Nothing to really complain about and the food was better than expected. It's a bit far away from the crazy of Chamonix, but sometimes that's a good thing. You also SAVE MONEY by not being around that area 24/7.

By far the best hotel experience i've ever had. Stumbled on this option while on a trip in Chamonix, France as we were scrubbing booking.com for availability. This spot was rated fairly high and close enough to where we wanted to be. As soon as we checked in and got to the room, I went straight back to reception and booked a consecutive night. The atmosphere is head and shoulders above anything else you'll likely find. Great place for families and the staff is incredible. I heard 4-5 languages being spoken at any given time and they handled every guest with ease. Fret not ye English speaking travelers... this spot is what you're hoping for. Extremely clean, great restaurant/bar, and tons of entertainment for every age group. Off street parking, free bus travel to/from Chamonix and awesome views.

I just stayed one night there and now I am contemplating returning to Chamonix mainly due to this hotel. It is a bit out of town but less than 10 mins away by car. Besides, if you are with kids than this hotel makes up for it in droves with all the amenities provided such as outdoor playground, indoor play area, arcade machines, foosball and ping pong. The vibe was amazing for adults as well. The restaurant area has amazing views and the bar had great live music. Rooms are laid out in a funky manner too which all added to the vibe.

One of my favorite hotels!! The staff is so kind and helpful, foods fantastic, and it was super convenient to have a ski and snowboard rental service downstairs. Definitely recommend...pictures don't do it justice
