Rocky's Historic Eastern Market

I have been going to Rocky’s for years and always love going there while visiting Eastern market. They have so many bulk spices and herbs and hard to find ones also. I really like that they have a person that will get them out of the bin for you so not everyone is digging into the bulk bins. It’s a first come, first serve area so just make sure the person sees that you are waiting. Zandra helped get our spices and she was so friendly and courteous. They have a good assortment of nuts and dried goods. Be careful some of the prices of nuts can be a bit high. They have a fantastic candy area with all kinds of old fashion candy in bulk that is self serve. They have a large assortment of dried beans and pasta and also gift ideas. Will go back.

We had our first visit to Rocky's today! Wow, what a great store. It has the Old Detroit feel with all kinds of candy, nuts, spices, and coffee. Got to meet one of Rocky's grandson's, a super nice guy who gets customer service.

I was very disappointed with my experience here. I bought candy from the bulk bins and it was all really stale. Hard candy has to sit a long time to get this stale. Also purchased multiple dried fruit containers. All of them had a fishy flavor. Way overpriced and poor quality. I will not be shopping here again.

Rocky's was a great place to stop and pick up some praline pecans and other snacks. They have a large selection of nuts, spices, and candies to choose from. You should have no problem finding something you like and it will definitely be delicious. Since it is a historic place, you should visit it if you are in the Detroit, Eastern Market area.

I go here every Saturday and shop, love it

I went to Germack store. I love this place for spices and coffee. The second store has chocolates and snacks and I bought some chocolate covered peanuts. Delicious. Their spices are so fresh. You pay a little more, but what you get tastes so much better than what you buy in a grocery store. I highly recommend this place!!

10/10 spot for spices, bulk goods, and fun finds. Coffee, candied ginger, and of course peanuts... just a wonderful place and my favorite place in eastern market.
